Es un lugar increible y Brigitte nos recibio muy cordialmente a la llegada. nos intento facilitar el apartamento antes de la hora oficial ya que llegamos a la isla muy pronto. El alojamiento esta muy bien equipado pero hubiera estado bien que dispusiera de algunas cosas basicas de cocina ( sal, aceite, servilletas, etc) ya que hay supermercados en la zona pero no disponen de gran variedad de articulos.

la ubicacion es buena para la parte de sur de la isla, pero quizas si volviera optaria por un alojamiento en el norte donde hay mas servicios ( restaurantes, supermecados, etc). salir a cenar por la noche se presenta complicado por la poca iluminacion de las carreteras y los restaurantes estan un poco alejados, aun iendo en coche. la playa del alojamiento es ideal para estar cerca, pero el baño es un tanto arriesgado por el oleaje, y por las mareas

Alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen, ein neuer Anstrich, zum Beispiel der Fenstergitter und ein Austausch der Plastikliegen und -Stühle gegen was Wertiges würde das Objekt erheblich aufwerten. Leider liegen die Häuser mit zwei Schlafzimmern und vier Betten nur in zweiter Reihe.

Great place, we loved our house and the position of the chalet near the beach and close to most of the island's best beaches. Mahe is beautiful and having a chalet with a fridge and kitchen was really convenient if we wanted to have breakfast or dinner at home. I would definitely reccomend this place!

Everything ! Warm and friendly owners, very thoughtful and helpful. The beach is breathtaking and the chalets are spacious and comfortable. It is so peaceful and we absolutely loved our few days here and would go back in a heartbeat. Lovely, easy snorkeling as well right off the beach.

Ci è piaciuto tutto, cercavamo un luogo così, sempre più raro da trovare con un mare ancora intatto, la quiete, naturalezza, i colori ci rimarranno sempre nel cuore…una full immersion di bellezza. Brigitte e’ stata una padrona di casa esemplare, gentile, professionale, una persona molto gradevole. Ci ha consigliato al meglio per ristoranti e le cose da sapere e da vedere. Lei e la sua famiglia sono persone deliziose. Il bungalow molto confortevole, il letto grande. La fauna è la flora. Grazie per questa vacanza dai voi, indimenticabile.

Wenn man einige entspannte Tage in einer sehr gepflegten Anlage mit wenig Menschen und direkt an einem schönen Strand verbringen möchte, ist man hier genau richtig. Schnorcheln direkt in der weitläufigen Bucht möglich, abhängig von den Gezeiten. Die Besitzer und das Personal sind sehr freundlich und professionell. Late Checkout für einen fairen Preis war kein Problem. Mietwagen aufgrund der Lage auf der Insel im Süden empfehlenswert. Kleiner Supermarkt und guter Take Away in ca. 500m zu erreichen, Sonntag geschlossen. Für Abendessen mit schönem Ambiente bietet sich das naheliegende Hotel Doubletree by Hilton an, ebenfalls ca. 500m. Sehr gutes Essen kann auch bei Perry‘s Grillz mit Lieferservice bestellt werden. Wir waren mit 5 Personen für eine Woche hier und haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die vielen Insekten nach Sonnenuntergang und bei Licht auf der Terrasse. Dafür kann aber die Unterkunft nichts. Betten für unseren Geschmack ziemlich hart aber üblich auf den Seychellen

Blízkost pláže a absence jiných nemovitostí v okolí znamenaly, že jsme měli pocit, jako bychom měli celou pláž jen pro sebe. Bezpečné parkování mimo silnici bylo velkým plusem. Přátelskost, znalost místních podmínek a profesionalita personálu Brigitte, jejího muže + zahradníka Mangele byly hlavním vrcholem našeho pobytu.“

Unbelievable location - so beautiful on the beach. It was quiet and relaxing and the owners were amazing.

The bed was a little hard for me but I know I am particularly soft! The chalets have everything you need but is basic. We were really happy with this as the description was quite clear. Nothing could take away from the amazing location.

Limited tea and coffee facilities although there were 2 coffee bags, no shampoo but soap provided Very minimalist amenities such as no salt and pepper, only a sheet to cover you. There is shop nearby which is 500 meters away but they sell basic things, if you go to Takamaka that is about 2km away then they have 4 or 5 supermarkets but timing the bus takes great skill and patience

Cet établissement n’offre pas le service attendu pour le prix. Le lieu et la décoration sont très simples et de qualité médiocre, le wifi ne fonctionnait que par intermittence et nous avons trouvé deux horribles cafards deux jours différents nous laissant penser que la proprette ou la salubrité du lieu laisse à désirer. Lisa, la sœur de la propriétaire nous a accueillis gentiment mais sa sœur Hélène était très désagréable avec les vacanciers. Cet établissement ne vaut pas le prix demandé par nuit. Par exemple, on nous indique que si si nous utilisons les deux rouleaux de papier, après c’est payant et il n’y a non sopalin ni serviette ce qui existe dans tous lés établissements de ce prix. Très déçus.

L'accueil très sympa malgré notre arrivée tardive. Renseignement sur les activités possibles aux alentours Logement bien tenu et très agréable en bord de plage. Lit XXL très sympa. Le parking sécurisé est un plus

Freundlicher und persönlicher Empfang. Sauberes Charlet mit einer Grundausstattung an Geschirr. Wunderbares Meer zum Schnorcheln und Schwimmen vor der "Tür" welches keine 30 Meter entfernt ist. Sehr ruhiger und entspannter Ort, an dem "Mann" entspannen kann während man die Flughunde in der Dämmerung und in den Morgenstunden beobachtet. Fußläufig ist ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein gutes Take Away. Ein LateCheckout war für einen angemessenen Aufpreis möglich. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und wird täglich gereinigt.

Die Chalets mit großen überdachten Terrassen liegen direkt am wunderschönen Strand, nur durch eine Palmenreihe davon getrennt. Der Strand ist bei Ebbe ideal zum Schnorcheln im Riff, das nach wenigen Metern anfängt, bei Flut zum Baden im tiefen Wasser. Die Strömung ist während des Südostmonsuns stark, aber nur zur Seite. Die Anlage wird super in Schuss gehalten, die Wohnungen fast täglich gereinigt und die Hand- und Badetücher regelmäßig ausgetauscht. Das Rezeptionsteam gibt viele Tipps, das ganze Team ist sehr herzlich. Vor allem am späten Nachmittag kann man Flughunde beobachten, viel Freude bereiten auch die Madagaskarweber.

recht harte Matratzen; Küchenausstattung gut, aber nicht grandios (z.B. keine Gewürze oder feine Siebe; die Kaffeemaschine läuft mit Illy E.S.E. Pads, die für 25 Rupien an der Rezeption erhältlich sind - Kaffeevieltrinker sollten sich welche mitbringen, da lokal schwer erhältlich)

Tout a été parfait : Les échanges avec notre hôte, l'accueil à notre arrivée avec 1 jour de décalage, les bons conseils sur les restaurants/ lieux à visiter et les petites attentions à notre égard, le nettoyage de la chambre et la propreté des lieux, le jardin magnifiquement entretenu, la plage avec une vue magnifique sur la côte sud et les hauteurs du sud de l'île en arrière plan, les cocotiers majestueux qui témoignent de l'histoire de ce lieu unique, le calme et le charme des villas, le parking sécurisé et la proximité avec les supermarchés et cafés/restaurant en ville si vous disposez d'un moyen de locomotion. Attention toutefois aux routes de nuits elles sont parfois pleines de surprises. Prenez votre temps sur la route et appréciez le décor.

De ligging, locatie bij het strand, vriendelijke staff met de familie van Brigitte. Heerlijk rustig en mooi terrein, heel ruim. Weinig voorzieningen op het terrein maar voldoende op rij afstand zoals supermarkt. Goede afhaal bij Koko Zerm.

Equipement de la cuisine un peu juste, la plage est protégée pour les tortues (ce qui est bien) et on ne peut du coup s'y installer, ce qu'on ne sait pas au moment de la réservation... Le prix est trop cher pour ce que c'est (sur praslin, on a trouvé presque 3 fois moins cher à qualité égale); je trouve aussi mesquin qu'on nous demande 50€ de plus pour 2h de plus passées au gite (vu le prix qu'on a déjà payé) alors qu'il n'y a pas de réservation derrière nous...

Le lieu hyper paisible, la magnifique plage au bout du grand jardin. Tout est Très bien entretenu. L’équipe est très accueillante. On recommande !

Il nostro soggiorno, durato 11 giorni, è stato bellissimo. Siamo arrivati in tarda mattinata e Brigitte è stata super cordiale nell'accoglierci e mostrarci la struttura e la casa che ci è stata assegnata. E' sempre stata disponibile e pronta a darci consigli e informazioni sull'isola. Raccomando la struttura che ha un accesso diretto alla spiaggia distante pochi passi da ogni chalet.

La plage à 30 mètres du bungalow. La beauté du jardin et la quiétude des lieus. Les oiseaux qui viennent prendre le petit déjeuner avec vous sur la terrasse. Les roussettes qui vous survolent avant d’aller se jucher dans un des arbres du jardin.

We liked the self-contained chalet set-up, which allowed us complete flexibility regarding when and what we ate, and provided us with ample space to socialise as a family and a chance for each of us to find a quiet place to relax. The proximity to the beachfront and the absence of other properties nearby meant that it felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. The secure, off-street parking was a great plus. The friendliness, local knowledge and professionalism of the staff was a major highlight of our stay.

As an active tourist, I would have liked the property to have kayaks or stand up paddle boards available for guests to use. Having said that, we found plenty of companies willing to rent these items, but it did mean having to leave the property and drive to alternative locations. In addition, I was able to swim every day in the ocean, but I would have liked the property to have had a freshwater pool.

Location was wonderful away from the city and beside the ocean. Very intimate and private chalets. daily cleaning and towel change was very welcome. Supermarkets close by for any grocery and restaurants and take aways nearby. Tons of friendly birds so we woke up to birdsong .

Everything was great. Perhaps an additional light sheet because the air conditioning can get cold but the fan alone is not sufficient. Also the recliners would not recline fully they were stuck.

A very intimate and peaceful place — quiet, private, and with very few people around, which makes it perfect for a relaxing stay. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. The beach is beautiful, and the snorkeling experience with the fish was even better than expected. I highly recommend this place!

It would be great to have a microwave available, as well as outdoor taps near the bungalow to rinse off sandy feet. Still, I highly recommend this place!

The location and grounds are great for us. We like quiet and nature. It's right on the beach in beautiful gardens with good snorkeling right there and fruit bats in the air. Short walk to shop and great little cafe with lovely cheap food. Secure car parking. We're already planning a return visit.

I loved the Chalets so much. It is truly paradise, right on the beach in a beautiful garden of palm trees. The location is quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. You can hear the waves at night and birds singing in the morning. The chalets are big, clean, the beds are very comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful. We had a great time. Definitely recommend.

Chalets is a gem! Located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Mahé. The place is spacious, and the kitchen has all the basics you need to cook your own meals if you prefer not to eat out. It’s perfect for enjoying a little slice of paradise, away from the crowds, and truly making the most of your time. We felt so welcomed by Brigitte and her family—they’re incredibly helpful with anything you might need. Can’t wait to be back!

The hosts, Daphne, Brigitte, Lisa and Jean-Pierre, were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The chalet was nice with everything you need for your stay. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The beach is delightful. The sea is great for swimming and snorkelling. If you start snorkelling from near the 'Giant Rock' you can drift down with the current (not too strong) back towards the chalets. Make sure when swimming that you have beach shoes as there are sea urchins in the water. We were also lucky enough to see a baby turtle make its way to the sea. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely return.

Everything! This is a super nice hotel, location is a quiet place, beach is almost private, nature and houses are beautiful, owners are super friendly and helpful! We will definitely come back!

The property is right on the beach. I had not even noticed this when we booked. I also loved the owners, they were very helpful before and after we arrived, especially with excellent advice about what to eat and so on.

That's awasome place for people searching for silent vacation close to the nature. Personell is super friendly. You feel link a child came back from long trip to your lovelly parents. 6/5 starts

Nothing at all

This is heaven on earth, peacefull quiet place, amazingly friendly, the welcome by the host was outstanding, huts have everything we needed, they are basic, but spotlessly clean, the stay comes with lots of add-ons such as caring host, smiles from the gardeners, who take care of the lovely tropical garden, the fruit bats flying above and even nesting turtles. Lovely beach, some snorkeling too. I will dream about this place.

It was perfect for first place at Mahe Island 😀 That’s a totally deserved all the rewards and reviews here. The chalet is fully equipped with everything for living as it shows at the site, creol style and the main benefit is to have a terrace with the ocean wind . There is so great filling that at the moment only you and the ocean means (thats worth everything) and nobody nearby. Ocean is located within the two steps and direct way to the beach with full privacy. Location is perfect, supermarkets is 5-10 minutes by car, a lot of small market nearby. And it was great to have a delivery from Perry Grill restaurant suggested by the host, it war very tasty ! The owner’s family is totally hospitable, Brigitte is very kind and helpful with everything around. Definitely come back next time 👌🏻

If you are going to cook something at the chalet, it’s perfect to have some kinda of “starter package” - salt, pepper and oil

Location! secluded, semidetached pretty and cozy cottage, private enough as other cottages are far enough - and nobody was staying in our building- it’s by the beach, yet, close to town, shops and few restaurants. Went swimming every morning! Amazing! We’ll organise space, large bathroom and bedroom, large and very comfortable bed! The hosts. Thanks for looking after us! Easy and prompt communication.

Unfortunately it was windy and rainy and the corrente were a bit strong this swimming was ok only but this was not the property’s fault! Maybe having access to drinking water and a ‘larger’ kitchen startup ( mire coffee and tea salt sugar bit of oil etc) similarly to what we had elsewhere, wound have been great. We didn’t cook much -we only had breakfast- thus for us it was great but maybe the kitchen is not very well equipped if you plan to do more cooking. Definitely need a car for easy access to other beaches and shops.

The location is the highlight, with a beautiful beach just steps away, making it easy to enjoy the natural surroundings.

The chalet itself was nice, with everything you’d typically expect from basic accommodations—clean, functional, but lacking any local charm or decorative touches that would make it feel special. However, the overall experience was marred by the stinginess of the management. We were provided with a single roll of toilet paper for our entire stay and had to pay extra if we needed more—something I’ve never encountered in all my travels. The same went for the coffee capsules, which were also an extra charge. To top it off, on our last day, despite the fact that there were no incoming guests, we were asked to pay €50 for a late checkout of just three extra hours. This left a sour taste, as it felt like they were squeezing every possible penny out of us. In summary, while the location is fantastic, the management’s approach to hospitality is disappointing. A little more generosity and understanding could have made this stay much more enjoyable.

She was always available to assist with any requests and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Her local knowledge was invaluable, helping us to explore the best that Seychelles has to offer. From arranging excursions to recommending the best local restaurants, Brigitte made sure our vacation was seamless and enjoyable. Facilities and Activities The resort provided a range of activities that kept us entertained throughout our stay. We enjoyed snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters.

Our stay at the Chalets s’Anse Forbans was truly delightful. The Chalet was lovely, clean, and cozy, providing a perfect retreat. Bridgit was incredibly warm and welcoming, offering us excellent tips for exploring the island. Mangala was also wonderful and reliable; despite our inconvenient arrival and departure times, he was always there with a big smile, ready to assist. The beach at the Chalet, with its untouched natural beauty, remained one of our favorite spots in Seychelles even after exploring other beaches. The combination of the charming accommodations, the helpful and friendly staff, and the stunning beachfront made our stay unforgettable.

Beautiful place, nice garden, very peaceful and quiet. Beach towels are a nice touch. Convenient bedroom - there is an air conditioner and also a fan, huge bed. Safe and spacious parking.

The beach is not like in the pictures - it has lots of seaweed, also some rocks at the bottom, under the water. Not so nice to swim in. There should be some pedastrian roads to the houses, but there is only grass - which is nice for walking, but not for dragging 23 kg suitcase...

Our stay was perfect! Everything was clean, spacious and very comfortable. They thought about every little detail. If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place, this is it.

First of all, I must start with Brigitte. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering invaluable recommendations and insights into the area that significantly enhanced our stay. Her kindness and willingness to accommodate our needs, including extending our stay, were truly remarkable. We couldn't have asked for a better host. The staff is exceptional as well. Then, the accommodation itself is charming. In a perfect location, you are just a few meters away from a beautiful beach. Additionally, you are a 10-15 minute drive from astonishing beaches on the west of the island. If you are seeking a peaceful place with essentially your own 'private' beach, you are in the right place. We can't wait to come back again.

Overpriced coffee (illy pods, impossible to buy anywhere else), difficulties keeping the house cool (only the bedrooms had airconditioning, which turned off, when we left the house). Our bungalow was a too sunny, not enough shade (we were with a 1 year old baby). Wifi could have been better - but was working.

When we arrived (after a long flight) we were greeted with a warm welcome from Brigitte which made us feel at home straight away. Throughout our wonderful stay we always felt looked after and we had space and tranquility to enjoy the beautiful setting. Our chalet was situated in front of the warm calm sea. The former coconut plantation held a peaceful,enchanting ambiance and the glorious bird song in the morning and evening was very uplifting. The self catering facilities were efficient for us to produce tasty meals. We rented a car because we enjoyed exploring the island. However I noticed some guests simply enjoyed the get away from it all feel of the place and didn't go far. We were lucky enough to have the palm tree lined beach to ourselves most of the time as we were there just before the peak season. Thank you to Brigitte, her husband and family for such a special holiday.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Location right on a very nice beach (perfect for snorkeling), nice chalets, calm, bus stop and small shops at just a few minutes walk.

This is a detail because we are overall very positive about our stay: although it is self-catering, having some basic stuff (e.g. salt in the kitchen) would be nice. Same for the toilet paper, just add a new roll when the first two are finished. This doesn’t cost anything.

This is the place for tranquillity on Mahe. Quiet holiday villas step away from beach. All basics are well covered. Best if come with car though public transport access is also possible. Some of the best island beaches and locations are in 10 minutes driving range. Also I'd like to note fantastic communication and efficiency of this long-standing family business. This is place to get away and be off line and down with paper book for days.

Everything! We loved it so much, the beach on the doorstep was the best part. It was extremely peaceful and reaxing. The sunbeds by each bungalow were so relaxing. The property was extremely well maintained all the way from the gardens to the bungalows themselves. It was our favourite place we stayed on our honeymoon!

The place is probably best accessible by car, you would be best off renting a car.

Apartment was clean and well equipped, host nice and helpful. Its in a quiet part of the island, right on the beach, fresh coconuts in the garden as a bonus ;-) Ideal for a few days of peace and relaxation. Also suitable for families with children because of big and safe garden. Nearest take away and grocery store about 5 minutes by car.
