Personeel spreekt slecht of geen engels. We mochten niet zwemmen zonder een badmuts aan te schaffen

За день до отъезда заказал трансфер в аэропорт. В день отъезда выяснилось, что сотрудник забыл передать заказ. Школа не было. Персонал поизвинялся, но больше ничего не сделал. Пришлось вызывать такси за свой счёт. Очень странное поведение для такого отеля.

Мне понравился персонал и еда на шведском столе,к нам был очень жобор персонал и было комфортно.

Мало зарядок на номер четырёх человек,интернет в Китае работают почти только их местные приложения.

Such a beautiful hotel and grounds! So glad we stayed here, even though it was only for one night. They upgraded us too and we had a huge room with another lounge attached, even a massage chair in our room! Really great value honestly. The staff were so helpful too, especially with my lack of preparation for all the blocked apps etc. The lady went out of her way to order takeaway from her own phone for us (as the restaurants were all closed) and I transferred her the money. The buffet breakfast was so good too! So many options.

Not much really! The bed was a bit hard for me, but everyone has their own preference and I still slept well. Would recommend for sure.

It was beautiful - an oasis in a crazy city

The design of the hotel was based on Chinese architecture, which we really liked. The facilities were abundant, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend it to other travellers.

De locatie ligt redelijk ver van het centrum. Was voor ons was dit geen probleem. Maar dat zou een nadeel kunnen zijn.

Todo. Es un sitio precioso, te tratan genial, ofrecen muchísimos servicios…..spa, sesión de fotos, transfer al aeropuerto gratis….desayuno también nos encantó! Si vas a Shanghai, no te pierdas una noche aquí!

The spa , swimming pool and not enough food catering or restaurants. The pool n spa is terrible and it didnt suit the posture of this beautiful hotel

Nice breakfast.

The dining room could have been cleaner. The pool is actually for training. The room had a slight damp smell. When turning on the air/con it was much better.

The garden setting was incredible. plenty of room to go for walks. Stunning architecture and beautiful gardens.

Am outdoor pool would have been so nice included in the setting. There are very few eating options close by except for what is in the hotel

La habitación era enorme, la cama y almohadas comodisimas. El baño estaba equipado con todo lo necesario. El desayuno 100% recomendable, estaba riquísimo todo y había mucha variedad. El personal super atento siempre y encantadores. Tenías traslado en bus al aeropuerto y a Disney gratis. Y las instalaciones son preciosas, merece la pena dar una vuelta y verlo.

La ubicación para ir al centro, está un poco retirado. En taxi eran como 40 mins (pero son baratos) y en metro 45 mins (la parada estaba al lado del hotel)

The most beautiful hotel in Shanghai

Emplacement calme loin de l'agitation de la ville et bien situé car proche du métro. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et varié. Le cadre de l'hôtel est magnifique, nous avons fait une belle séance photo en costume chinois. Les femmes de ménage étaient au petit soin et souriantes.

La complexité à pouvoir se faire comprendre car très peu de personnes à la réception parlaient l'anglais. La piscine non adaptée à des enfants occidentaux voulant un peu s'amuser car règles trop rigides.

The grounds of this hotel are amazing - great to walk around and get some photos - just like the parks and gardens in Suzhou. Also the metro is just across the road - takes about 1 hour to the centre - but there are restaurants and shopping centres 1 stop away.

- The staff weren't very friendly and made a mistake with payment on arrival. They also called me at 1:30am in the morning because they thought there was a problem with my room. - The breakfast is very disappointing - half of it was empty (we didn't arrive late) and the staff looked fed up and it looked like they hadn't had sufficient training. - I don't work for Holiday Inn - but we stayed in one a week before - right in the centre of Shanghai, VERY friendly and helpful staff, excellent facilities and at half the price. I recommend there!

L’hôtel est très beau, comme une impression d’arriver dans un film, il est grand et vaste avec de beaux jardins et éclairé la nuit. Les chambres sont spacieuses et plutôt bien équipées.

L’emplacement est éloigné du centre, 30min en taxi et 50 min en métro. La piscine est une piscine municipale, avec énormément d’enfants qui prennent des cours, beaucoup de bruit, de cris et il n’est indiqué nulle part que c’est cette ambiance. Je ne sais pas si toutes ces personnes étaient logées à l’hôtel mais nous sommes loin de l’espace détente dont on a l’habitude dans un hotel.

The property is magical. It’s like going back in time and living in luxury. The breakfast is very good and there’s a large choice.

The swimming pool seems to be open to people who aren’t staying in the hotel and doesn’t have a 5* feel to it.

الفندق بحد ذاته جميل جدًا، سواء من ناحية المرافق أو التصميم والديكورات أو الأجواء العامة، وأعتبر الإقامة فيه تجربة مميزة تستحق التجربة. تصميم الفندق يجمع بشكل جميل بين الطراز الصيني التقليدي واللمسات الحديثة، وهذا يعطيه طابعًا خاصًا ومختلفًا. التفاصيل والديكورات في مختلف أنحاء الفندق جميلة جدًا، والأجواء بشكل عام هادئة ومريحة. الغرف واسعة جدًا ومساحتها ممتازة، كما أن تصميم الغرفة والديكورات الداخلية جميلة ومريحة. طاقم العمل متعاون جدًا، وكانت معاملتهم جيدة طوال فترة الإقامة. بشكل عام، الفندق مريح جدًا من ناحية الأجواء والمساحات والتصميم، والاستمتاع بالمكان نفسه يعتبر جزءًا من تجربة الإقامة.

أول نقطة هي الموقع. الفندق يقع في منطقة بعيدة نسبيًا عن المناطق السياحية الرئيسية في شنغهاي وقريب من المطار. لذلك قد يكون خيارًا مناسبًا لمن يريد إقامة مؤقتة بالقرب من المطار، أو لمن تكون وجهته الأساسية شنغهاي ديزني لاند، أو لا يمانع الاعتماد على السيارة للوصول إلى المولات والأماكن الأخرى. أما إذا كان الهدف زيارة المناطق السياحية الرئيسية والتنقل بينها باستمرار، فالموقع يعتبر بعيدًا وغير عملي. النقطة الثانية، وهي الأهم بالنسبة لي، أن معظم خدمات الفندق تنتهي مبكرًا جدًا. فعليًا، بعد المساء تصبح الخيارات محدودة للغاية؛ الـRoom Service يغلق، والمطعم الرئيسي يغلق مبكرًا، وحتى الجلوس في الـLounge لشرب القهوة غير متاح في وقت متأخر. كذلك السبا ينهي خدماته مبكرًا خلال اليوم. لذلك، رغم أن الفندق نفسه جميل جدًا ومريح ويشجعك على قضاء وقتك بداخله، إلا أن المشكلة أن الخدمات لا تدعم هذه التجربة طوال اليوم. إذا كنت من الأشخاص الذين يحبون قضاء وقت طويل في الفندق والاعتماد على المطاعم وRoom Service والـMinibar والسناكات والمشروبات، فهذه الخيارات محدودة جدًا أو غير متوفرة خلال جزء كبير من اليوم. وهذه كانت بالنسبة لي أكبر نقطة سلبية، خصوصًا أن فندقًا بهذا المستوى والتصميم كان من الممكن أن يقدم تجربة متكاملة أكثر لو كانت خدماته متاحة لساعات أطول.

The garden that surrounded the amazing design of property, e en in the event of Typhoon Dolphin😌. The staff were efficient and attentive especially Ella Xu who spoke good English and knowledgeable.

I liked everything.

Hotel and gardens were beautiful, spacious rooms and bathrooms and comfortable bed! Hotel gym was also spacious with modern equipment.

The staff and communication was very poor. The hotel advertises airport shuttle, beware this is not the case, very limited hours that don't align with any flight times, I I had communicated prior to my arrival that i would like their driver to pick me up from the airport and there was no one there when I arrived. Zero English from any of the staff, had to use translate to communicate for basics such as room directions, etc.

The rooms are very big, well stocked and super quiet plus the staff are incredibly helpful. The breakfast is amazing… so many options and everything tasted great. They really cater to everyone’s preferences. It would be incredibly difficult to dislike this breakfast. I saw a previous comment about not liking it… I bet that individual hates most meals available to them. You can’t go wrong with a full salad bar, full hot breakfast bar, omelettes specially made to your liking, a dessert bar, large juice and coffee,tea selection not to mention tons of fruit and pastries. Literally anything you could possibly want for breakfast regardless of where you come from. I also couldn’t believe how amazing the airport shuttle was. Very easy to find my driver and he parked literally in the first spot by the exit. Helped with my bags and was super nice. It was very easy to set up through the messaging system on booking.com I was only able to stay for one night but I’m definitely bringing my family back for a longer stay. This is an experience within itself.

I had issues with the price matching system through booking. com they claim I didn’t provide all the correct details but I literally sent them every item on their list (just didn’t highlight each item so it looked them in the face). I’d recommend checking all sites as there were quite a few better deals with the exact same options as what you get through here. Same cancellation etc but significantly cheaper. So you can still enjoy the property…. It’s definitely worth the stay! I can’t say enough great things about this hotel.

Das Frühstück war gut, während des check inns hat der Mitarbeiter bei mir aufgehört und zwischendrin 2 Chinesen eingecheckt, ich habe das Hotel wegen des Schwimmbades und des Fitnessstudios gewählt jedoch war am 13.07. beides geschlossen und wurde erst um 12 zu meiner Abreise geöffnet, als ich am Empfang nachfragte wussten die von nichts...alles unorganisiert. ansonsten tolle Lage gutes Frühstück , Flughafentransfer alles ok

El comedor lo encuentro pequeño por lo grande que es el hotel. Había días que no encontrabas mesas libres a la hora del desayuno.

Posto fantastico in ottima posizione tra centro città e aeroporto. Staff estremamente dinamico disponibile e in grado di offrire un servizio di qualità. L'hotel manager guest Jamie shen ci ha aiutato anche a risolvere un problema con didi. Colazione fantastica. Piscina e zona gioco e relax molto belle.

Our stay at the Royal Garden Hotel Shanghai was nothing short of exceptional! The hotel itself is reminiscent of the old style china architecture but with a modern day twist. Facilities are exceptional. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were always helpful and went out of their way to make our stay even more enjoyable. A special call out to Jamie who consistently went out of his way to ensure our stay was pleasant :-). The daily buffet menu was a nice mix of western and Asian food so was able to cater for all tastes. The indoor heated swimming pool great for a work out (but remember to bring your goggles as very chlorinated!). Location was very close to the train station (opposite side of the road!) So we were able to commute to all the attractions with no issues. Lasltly, the complimentary airport shuttle to and from the airport was the icing in the cake! All in all a truly fantastic and memorable stay and will definitely being staying there again next time we are in Shanghai!

the style, design and Wonderfull garden. It's beyond beautiful! this is a must see hotel. The Chinese Asian design with all its art pieces, surrounded by a stunning garden and very nice to walk through. Day and evening.

The restaurants are very disappointing, it's crazy expansive and definitely not worth the money. dishes of 100 euro and up and very little food. The breakfast is ok, but I would expect much more from a hotel like that.

Beaucoup plus cher que ce qui était affiché sur booking, réservation faites à 112€ pour une nuit sur booking mais sur place ils nous demande de payer 170€ et le lendemain ils ont essayé de nous faire payer 75€ pour des « room charge » …

The hotel is beautiful outside, they have a garden that is really pretty. The beds are very comfortable. The photo shoot was so funny and they take really great pictures. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was really good they have a lot of dishes. They pick you up or drop you off to the airport.

The only thing I didn’t like was the restaurant after breakfast hours. They take too long to serve you

The grounds were beautiful. Our Concierge Brian was exceptional. He ensured if we needed anything we had it right away, booked our photo shoot appointment at the hotel which came out beautiful and if we needed a car to anywhere, he ensured that also. The breakfast buffet was very good always enough seating and a great variety in food. Wish I would have spent more time enjoying the Hotel. So convenient to get to Disney and Shanghai Wildlife Park which both were amazing.

I can't find any thoughts in my brain to say what I didn't like.

De kamer, de omgeving op het complex

Medewerkers moeten toch beter engels kunnen, er komen internationale gasten en dan buiten het chinees om toch beter ook de engelse taal kundig te zijn. Ontbijt vroeger starten vanaf 6 uur ivm bus naar disney. En te weinig pendel tijden.

Превосходный дизайн отеля. Очень аутентично и красиво везде. Прост прогулки по территории это уже как отдельная достопримечательность. В отели также можно заехать фотосессию, но у нас не было времени. Локация отличная для наших целей - мы ездили в Диснейленд и аутлет. Также недалеко метро и за 5 юаней может доехать до центра. Вкусная еда в лобби, есть детский зал с автоматами, бассейн и куча других развлечений на территории отеля. Парень на зоне консьержа отлично говорил на Английском, очень помог. А также на регистрации помог вернуть нам оставленную сумку в такси. Номера с выходом на сад, кровати уютные, все чисто.

На завтраках отсутствует бутилированная не газированная вода.

El hotel tiene una estética muy cuidada.

Gran decepción y una auténtica estafa. Mucho cuidado con la letra pequeña. Hicimos la reserva con el traslado incluido y nos dijeron que teníamos que pagarlo aparte porque “dependía de los horarios”. Lo mismo ocurrió con el late check-out: estaba incluido en la reserva y aun así nos llamaron a las 12:00 para echarnos de la habitación. La recepcionista del spa fue extremadamente desagradable. A las 21:00 ya no permitía entrar a la piscina alegando que cerraban a las 21:30 y diciendo de malas maneras que volviéramos a las 7:00. Además, el 30 de marzo, al hacer la reserva, pedimos cita para la sesión de fotos incluida y nos la confirmaron por el chat de Booking.com. Cuando llegamos, nos enviaron a la habitación donde supuestamente estaba la fotógrafa, pero allí nadie sabía nada: la cita no existía y nadie había comunicado nuestra reserva. Para rematar, el personal de recepción fue nefasto. Un señor de recepción me habló elevando la voz simplemente por pedir un justificante de la fianza. Además de responder fatal en todo momento, fue una persona muy desagradable y con una actitud totalmente inapropiada hacia los clientes. Después de 25 días viajando por China, este ha sido el único sitio donde nos han tratado así. En el resto del país hemos encontrado gente maravillosa, amable y acogedora que nos han hecho sentir como en casa. Este hotel no representa en absoluto la hospitalidad de China. A evitar completamente. Todo es fachada.
