Localização excelente! Tudo impecável! Chegamos no comboio das 7h30 da manhã perguntei se era possível fazer o check in mais cedo e foram impecáveis! Chegamos cedo e estava o apartamento pronto a nossa espera com um cheirinho maravilhoso.

Very good location. Just a short walk 3-5mins away to almost everywhere like the supermarket, eateries, convenient store and tour companies. Host reply promptly and was very kind to let us check in early. Apartment is clean and heater available.

No elevator. So if your luggages were very heavy, need to carry it up and down the stairs.

V clean. Location is quiet central. Cozy . Kitchen well equipped.

Not being given the pass code for the outside door! (only for the apartment!). Myself and children arrived late at night (as the owner was aware) by taxi, almost midnight and negative 13! Unable to get in walking around the building, trying the doors with the only pass code we had. In the end, we found a lovely Finnish person to ask who contacted the owner for us and we were only then given the pass code to get in! In the cold and tired and late this really ruined our experience.

The room is appropriately sized for a single family with 1-2 kids. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals and there's a 24/7 supermarket within 100m distance. Location is as good as it gets in Rovaniemi. It is generally quiet at nights, except for a stray snowplough briefly passing by after midnight on a couple of days. The keys are provided via a lockbox which makes the self-checkin simple and convenient (you do need to have internet access to read the instructions a few hours before checkin, in the worst case the center of Rovaniemi is covered by all sorts of freely accessible Wifi networks). The host was kind to allow us to check out later than the officially stated 10:00 requirement.

A working washing machine would certainly be a big plus (at least for stays longer than a couple of nights). The apartment is on the second floor (counting ground as 0) without an elevator, so not wheelchair accessible (and potentially annoying to the elderly, those with a lot of luggage or heavy strollers). The second (sofa) bed is decent but, as is the case for most sofa beds, is less perfectly flat than a proper bed (which may be a problem to those who require ideally straight surface for a good sleep). The requested checkin/checkout times are a bit harsh IMO, but the owner was accommodating in our case. The price (for the New year's period at least) is 5 times I'd expect to pay for such an apartment elsewhere, but it is what the market in Rovaniemi demands, I guess.

The location is excellent. Near to shopping malls, tour operators, restaurants, and bus stop going to Santa Claus Village. Host is very responsive.

Host was communicative and very welcoming. We needed a place to stay overnight and this was perfect. Great location near Lordi’s Square if you’re looking for somewhere in town to stay. Suited our purposes. Very clean.
