Druids Glen Resort

The room was lovely, as were the staff, there for a wedding and it was lovely. Breakfast tasted lovely and the chef quite obviously cares about the love and effort in his food.

Water in the shower was freezing cold and boiling hot, temperature adjustment made no difference. Although the staff were very friendly the service of the wedding wasn’t the best. Plates not cleared until hours after the food was finished with and dancing had already started. Top table still had their side plates and many dirty glasses while speeches were happening about 45 mins after the meal. No attention to detail ( table cloths had just been thrown on and fingerprints all over mirrors). At such a small wedding with a buffet style dinner there’s not much excuse for a lazy looking service. Breakfast was lovely although a few things didn’t work on the buffet like jams, Nutella dispenser etc. If you speak to a staff member they are lovely but they don’t seem to approach you to ask if you are okay for everything or no sign of anyone around the buffet to help.

Velmi hezký hotel u golfu. Bohužel trošku za zenitem. Zejména na spa je to vidět, plavky do sauny jsou bohužel irský nikoli dobrý standard. Poučení v zatavených obalech nepomáhají stejně jako žádný bar ve spa. Restaurace je hlasitá.

Номера уставшие, так же как и ковры во всем отеле. Нет кондиционера для волос. Цена высокая очень за ночь.

Good location, great breakfast and lovely pool

The price and some of the furniture in the room was a bit tired- not what I would expect from this standard of hotel.

Lovely surroundings, with a relaxed feel. Great staff who were very polite.

Drinks were expensive as was the main restaurant. Pillows were not comfortable at all. Too stiff. Could have offered a little more than 2 small chocolate's and a card as we mentioned before arriving that we were celebrating our 15th whilst there.

There should more of a link with the golf course. For example, a special rate for guests of the hotel. I asked in the pro-shop if there was a special rate and was told it would be €175, the same as for casual visitors who are Golf Ireland members.

Cosy space rooms, professional staff, rich breakfast. Hotel location is perfect - nice and quiet surrounded with green, but still close to Dublin City.

A bit worn hotel facilities. Hotel pool close pretty soon, so you cannot use it after dinner.

Breakfast was good but the coffee is not good quality (flat white/latte, consider upgrading beans). Food in Hugo's restaurant was decent and nice wine and desserts. Comfy bed, spacious room, nice bug bathroom and bath, good smart TV.

Poor communication on multiple occasions regarding health centre opening hours, not being informed of driving range being closed, waiting for staff to check us in, incorrect food order twice in garden bar and limited choice on menu, slow with drinks order in bar.

La comida del bar estaba bastante buena y el desayuno también fue correcto.

TODAS las sábanas de las camas estaban sucias, sin cambiar! Dejaron más de los huéspedes anteriores. Había manchas, pelos… fue asqueroso!!!!!! Cuando lo comentamos en recepción, vino un señor a cambiarlas y tardó una hora! Nos dijo que le ayudásemos a cambiarlas porque estaba solo! Lo comunicamos al manager y nos invitaron a cenar. Pero esto es algo inadmisible, antihigiénico y peligroso para la salud. MUY MAL! No lo recomiendo para nada, es carísimo para lo que ofrece. En los pasillos hay un olor horrible!

Fabulous staff, friendly, helpful and professional.

The food, breakfast buffet and the bar. The facilities are old and tired. The toy room had broken and missing toys. The swimming pool area was tired and not to a five star standard.

Dinner was fantastic

From the moment we booked in nothing was too much to ask. We updated our reservation to include an extra night and they managed to accommodate us in the same room. On our day of arrival we got there early as I was playing golf and an early check in was sorted in a matter of minutes so my wife could use the facilities. Concierge arranged lifts to and from the golf course and every time we passed the staff we were met with pleasant chat and smiles all round. The room we had was turned out very well and sizable. Brrakfast service was impeccable, with a huge variety of quality produce. We were sat sonewhere different for each of our 3 breakfasts which I liked. All other meals in the hotel were brilliant, including restaurant dinner, wedding meal and bbq. The bar stayed open very late, and the staff were beyond accommodating here. Literally everything was done with a smile.

The room was fabulous and we were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. The room had a nice view of the golf course. The staff were excellent and on hand for every need. Thanks for a lovely stay

Pool probably a little dated

The grounds of the hotel were fantastic. The pool and changing facilities were also clean and suitable for a family.

Shortly after we arrived, a funeral cortege, hearse with coffin arrived at the front door of the hotel. The coffin was brought into the conference centre. It became apparent that a wake/funeral was being held at the hotel. I asked 3 members of staff about this, none of whom were inclined to give me a straight answer as to what was happening. My children witnessed this as we were in the lobby of the hotel. As you would expect they had questions as to why there was a dead person being brought into the hotel and also if there would be other dead people in the rooms beside us. I have NEVER come across this scenario in any hotel I have stayed in. It created quite an uncomfortable situation for my family and I was also unimpressed at the lack of clarity/communication from hotel staff.

Everything! The hotel and staff were 1st class. The room was clean and tidy and facilities were perfect. Leisure has plenty to offer. We had breakfast both mornings and I have to say it was the one of the nicest breakfast I have had on a stay.

The hotel and the room were fantastic! The room (suite) was roomy and had cool air conditioning, a huge double sink in the bathroom, comfy bed, 2 large TVs, etc. The room decor was very, very nice and fancy. Breakfast was large and plentiful. Parking was convenient. The staff was wonderful.

2 very small things: our room at the end of the hallway does not have a good WiFi signal. In the sitting room it is marginal, in the bedroom it is non existent. Also, the floor of the shower has huge drain ridges that are very uncomfortable on the feet. It would be smart for the hotel to cover this shower floor with a teakwood or bamboo floor matt to make it more comfortable.
