Wij hadden twee prachtige grote kamers met ligbedden aan het zwembad. We waren de enige gasten die avond (ze hebben drie kamers), wat ons verblijf extra fijn maakte. De eigenaar en zijn vrouw hebben de kamers echt prachtig ingericht waarbij aan alle details is gedacht. Heel smaakvol en mooi! Het zwembad was heerlijk en we hebben hier ook heerlijk gegeten. Bij het Sea Turtle Conservation Project (5 minuten met tuktuk) hebben we aan het eind van de dag baby-turtles mogen uitzetten, een prachtige ervaring! Echt een heel fijn verblijf!

Das Zimmer war wunderbar groß, sehr modern eingerichtet, alles sehr neu und vom feinsten. Direkter Poolzugang, idyllischer Garten, herrlicher Ort zum runterkommen nach unserem Urlaub in Sri Lanka. Super Frühstück, unheimlich netter Gastgeber, gern wieder.

Der Strand ist fussläufig erreichbar, was wirklich sehr schön ist für Strandspaziergänge. Aber leider war sonst nicht so viel los, der Ort ist sehr klein. Das war für uns aber in Ordnung.

The suite was large and well equipped. Bathroom was beautiful. Good pool and choice of food. Short walk to beach. I feel fortunate to have found this place. Great.

Die Unterkunft war wirklich ein perfekter Traum. Es war alles vorhanden, was man nur brauchen könnte. Die Zimmer sind groß, und wir hatten ein Zimmer direkt am Pool. Der Pool ist riesig und die gesamte Anlage ist einfach richtig schön und hochwertig.

Die einzige Sache, die man beachten muss: In der Umgebung gibt es nicht besonders viel zu unternehmen. Allerdings gibt es einen endlosen, wunderschönen Strand (dort kann man allerdings nicht wirklich baden). Dafür eignet er sich perfekt für lange Spaziergänge. Man sieht dort Schildkröten und viele Krabben – insgesamt ein wunderschönes, naturbelassenes Umfeld. Es gibt auch nicht viele Restaurants oder Geschäfte in der Nähe, aber das weiß man ja im Voraus, wenn man sich informiert, wo sich die Unterkunft befindet. Für uns war das kein negativer Punkt.

Mein Zimmer war riesig, total schön gestaltet, mit einem halboffenen Bad wo man beim Duschen in den Himmel schauen konnte. Das Bett war für mein Empfinden sehr bequem (tolle Matratze). Es gab ein Mosquitonetz (was man aufgrund der Bauweise des Gebäudes nicht unbedingt braucht aber definitiv ein "nice to have" ist) und eine Klimaanlage. Es gab jeden Tag frisches Wasser, das absolut bedenkenlos zu trinken ist. Das Frühstück war super -ich bin an sich niemand, der gerne frühstückt- denke aber, niemand muss hier hungrig in den Tag starten. Man kann wählen zwischen Kaffee/Tee, Eierspeisen, einem Obstteller oder Smoothie, Toast, Marmelade und jeden Tag gibt es eine frisch zubereitete singhalesische Frühstücksüberraschung. Man kann im Sri Palms auch zu Abend essen. Die Gerichte werden vor Ort von den Inhabern frisch zubereitet. Es gibt sowohl singhalesische als auch "westliche" Gerichte. Sakun (der Inhaber) ist sehr herzlich, er organisiert auf Wunsch ein Taxi vom/zum Flughafen und steht bei Fragen und Problemen jederzeit hilfreich zur Seite. Man kann das hauseigene TukTuk (mit Chauffeur) buchen - auch kurzfristig- und man bekommt auf der Fahrt Tipps und Infos über die Umgebung. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abseits vom touristischen Trubel, was für mich perfekt war und auch kein Problem darstellt, da man wie schon erwähnt, mit dem TukTuk schnell von A nach B kommt. Entweder mit dem TukTuk oder Familie oder man schnappt sich auf der Straße ein Vorbeifahrendes. Was auch sehr gut funktioniert is die App "Pick Me", über die man sich ebenfalls safe ein Transportmittel organisieren kann. Die Unterkunft ist super schön angelegt, es gibt viele Blumen, von meinem Balkon im 1. Stock schaute ich in ein Palmenmeer. Der Pool ist ein Traum und im Gesamten ist es perfekt, um Ruhe und Erholung zu finden. Der Strand ist fußläufig ca. 3 Minuten entfernt. Auch der ist ein Traum, weitläufig und man ist größtenteils alleine.

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Familie – ich habe mich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Eigentlich war nur eine Nacht geplant, doch aufgrund des Nahostkriegs wurden daraus fast drei Wochen. Dank einer Stornierung konnte ich bis zu meinem Rückflug bleiben – dafür bin ich sehr dankbar. Wunderschöne und sehr saubere Anlage mit großem Pool, sehr gutem WLAN (in dieser Situation besonders wichtig) und hervorragendem Essen, Danke Nimmi. Danke auch an Sakun für das Organisieren der Touren. Highlight für mich war die wunderschöne Madu River Safari Der ruhige, lange Strand ist in nur vier Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, inklusive kleiner Bar mit Musik und guten Getränken. We stayed two nights in Sri Palms at the end of our journey and we already miss it. The rooms are extremly big with the most beautiful outdoor shower, each room has their own balcony or terrace and it was spotless clean. For us it felt like being at home and having meals on the balcony while overlooking the lush garden and pool. The host and his family are such lovely people and made us feel welcome. Also the food was freshly prepared and delicious-all of this at very fair prices.Beach is in walking distance and you are also a short drive away from Bentota Beach which we also really liked. I can not recommend this place enough and i hope we can visit again in the future.

We only stayed at the Sri Palms for one night, the last night for our honeymoon trip in Sri Lanki, but we wished we could stay longer and really enjoy this beautiful family run hotel. The staff were very accommodating and made us feel like special guests by decorating our room for our honeymoon. The grounds were full of beautiful plants and the room itself was the largest we stayed in whilst in Sri Lanka. Especially loved the unique outside bathroom. The beach was a short walk away which was a bonus.

A real gem in Kabalana run by a fantastic family who are on hand for anything you may need. My room (top floor) was brilliant, plenty of space, very comfortable & a fabulous bathroom. Kettle in the room is a great plus! Breakfast is served down in the garden where there is a pool for those mongers when you get just too hot.. Het eten vonden we wat minder lekker vergeleken andere plekken.

Uns hat Alles gefallen. Vom ersten bis zum letzten Moment war dieser Aufenthalt perfekt. Die Sri Palms Familie ist einmalig, freundlich, hilfsbereit, halten ihre Unterkunft auf einem top Standard. Die Unterkunft ist neu, picobello sauber, das Essen frisch und super lecker. Wir haben auch 2 Mal abends dort gegessen, besser als im Restaurant. Wer Massagen mag ist bei Sakun bestens aufgehoben. Hier kann man sich nur wohlfühlen!!! 2 Min. von einem schönen und ruhigen Strand entfernt, an dem man lange spazieren gehen kann, baden und einfach nur Ruhe genießen.

Quality of the rooms and outside space was fab! Patio straight onto the pool, pool was lovely and the staff were so so helpful, couldn’t have done more for us!

There’s not loads to do around the hotel, but was perfect for the two nights we stayed there! There’s a beach near and lots of turtle conversation centres, and food available at the hotel for breakfast, lunch and evening meal (with plenty options!) so didn’t matter that there’s not lots close to the hotel at all!

Amazing stay, lovely people that work there, great food and spotlessly clean. Went out of their way to help us/arranging transport and local trips. Thank you!

Sri Palms in Kosgoda is a family-owned hotel with a few rooms. We got the rooms on the ground floor with a wonderful swimming pool view and a sitting area. The rooms are large very well furnished. Bathrooms are also big and nice. Overall, we had a wonderful time there. We had dinner at the hotel and also the breakfast was done very well prepared and served. The beach is at a walking distance @400 meters from the property. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

A bit on the expensive side.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and very well maintained. The pool is amazing — we didn’t want to leave! The staff are friendly, attentive, and pleasant. We felt very comfortable asking for things, and they were always happy to help. We used their service for a foot massage and a back massage — both were professional and excellent. A staff member took him to nearby markets, a wood-carving workshop, and a nice restaurant. Breakfast was generous and delicious.

Kosgoda is a great place to spend the night before or after a flight from Colombo, but it’s not particularly interesting. The beach is pristine and empty of restaurants. We didn’t find much to do in Kosgoda and spent most of our time at Sri Palms.

Everything was nice, clean and thought out, also the people who were in charge were so friendly and the surroundings calm and peaceful. Would absolutely recomend

Ein kleines Paradies unweit des menschenleeren Strands von Kosgoda. Die Besitzerfamilie lässt nichts unversucht, um den Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem zu machen. Leckeres Essen, tolle Zimmerausstattung mit AC, Moskitonetz, Safe, Kühlschrank und sogar Haartrockner sowie ein großzügiger Pool machen das Entspannen einfach. Gerne beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Sri Lanka wieder :-)

Wij hadden een fantastisch verblijf! We verbleven in de Junior suite en Deluxe kamer. Heerlijk met de ligstoelen aan het zwembad. Mooie buitenbadkamer. Het mooiste hotel dat we tijdens onze reis gehad hebben! Zeker een aanrader!

We spent there our last night in Sri Lanka and it was the end of the holiday we were looking for. The room is massive, super clean with a king size bed and a shower that is working very well. The swimming pool was the most amazing part to relax and enjoy the fresh water. The host family took care of us very well, with a very good breakfast, lunch and dinner. They gave us also a lot of advice on activities we can go for in the surroundings. Super nice place to relax and rest!

La struttura è completamente nuova e molto bella. Le camere sono molto pulite e la piscina è super rilassante. Il cibo preparato da loro è di ottima qualità. I proprietari sono super gentili e accoglienti.

Our stay at Sri Palms in Kosgoda was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms, the pool, and the entire property are incredibly beautiful and very clean. The apartment is in walking distance to a beautiful beach. The family running the place is so warm and welcoming — we immediately felt at home. We especially loved the evenings playing Wizard together with the owner and the other guests, the delicious food, and the best massage we’ve had in a long time! The owner also took us on some unforgettable excursions, including a boat tour through the mangroves and a visit to the nearby turtle hatchery — both were amazing experiences. We highly recommend Sri Palms to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic stay in Sri Lanka!

It’s a beautiful property located very near to one of the major beaches in Kosgoda. The rooms are big, clean and spacious. The decoration was well thought. The room overlooked the pool. It was a perfect stay. Sakun and his wife were very sweet and good in their service. It felt very personal and homely.

Hosts were so lovely and we felt very welcome. It felt calm and relaxing as there aren't many other guests. The food was lovely and we enjoyed eating dinner and breakfast outside our room. Only a short stroll from the beach, which was beautiful with a couple of further restaurant options.

There are limited activities and restaurants in the area but it was great for a quiet night en route to Colombo

Not a normal, simple guesthouse like the others I had on my tour thru Sri Lanka. There are 2 very nice-clean bungalows with high quality furnishings and the power sockets are where you need them ;) The terrace in front of the large pool is a dream :) and the delicious food is prepared by the lovely and helpful family and served on the terrace. The WiFi also works great and is fast. What more could you want? Oh yes, of course the beach :) it's within walking distance, only 3 minutes to the beautiful long, quiet beach. The only downside is that my flight leaves this evening :( Thanks for the late check-out by the way. I can highly recommend Sri Palms. I will definitely come back and then with more time!!! Private accommodation with two apartments next to a family home. The room is spacious, and the bathroom is uniquely designed in an open-air style with greenery. The beach is just a 5-minute walk away.

There is practically nothing in the surrounding area except for the beach. The pool is relatively large, but the abundance of mosquitoes makes swimming unpleasant. The food is very average, especially dinner.

Staff, pool and the room were absolutely fantastic. The room was absolutely incredible and clean and the air con was great

There are very few options to eat in the evening as good wasn't the greatest in-house. The owners sitting next door in their villa, we felt like we were being watched constantly

Clean and well built property with attention to detail.

The electricity went off from 2-5 am which meant we could not get restful sleep. This was not the fault of the hotel but a generator would have helped as i understand this happens pretty regularly.

Beautiful complex, super clean and very well equipped. Super clean and huge Pool and just 4 or 5 minutes walk to the Beach The family (Sakun and his wife Nimmi) are so warm and accommodating! We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay with them very much! The massages were wonderful and requests regarding the food (spicy or mild etc.) are met with great care! We didn't want to leave and would come back anytime!

Absolutely incredible peace and calm. The pool is amazing, staff are so lovely, rooms are clean and modern, the shower is exceptional and the beach that’s a 2 minute walk away is stunning!

The room was fantastic and was decorated with attention to detail. The terrace and the pool with the grounds were very well maintained and you can tell that everything is taken care of here. The food was absolutely delicious and left nothing to be desired. The staff were super friendly and helped with all problems and questions. My stay exceeded my expectations. I can highly recommend the accommodation.

This was the perfect ending to our Sri Lanka trip. A little oasis next to the beach. Only 0.5 KM walk to the lovely clean beach. The owner and his family were so welcoming and accommodating, They even decorated the room for our 10th Wedding anniversary, so talented and so sweet. Food was freshly cooked and really delicious. The bathroom was beautiful, just like being in a jungle surrounded with beautiful greenery.

Everything is amazing here! The hosts are wonderfully polite and friendly to their guests. They didn't make any problem with an additional guest (3 years old child). Their cuisine is wonderful - both breakfasts and every item on the menu. The hotel is small, so each guest is treated specially. A beautiful large swimming pool where you can swim peacefully. The rooms are very spacious and tastefully decorated. The shower deserves a special mention - you can use it while admiring the stars. 3 min walk to the beach. It really is a little paradise!

Absolutely wonderful place! Large, clean, cozy and beautiful room overlooking the pool in the courtyard. The yard is clean, the lawn is neatly trimmed and all the plants are well-groomed, garlands hang on the trees, and in the evening, combined with a large, clean pool, they create a magnificent view. Hospitable, friendly hosts, despite the fact that we arrived late in the evening, did not leave us without dinner, and also treated us to fresh watermelon. Two insect fumigators were included in the room. The bed is large and comfortable. It’s quiet, you can only hear the birds singing, we had a great rest after a long and hard journey. In the morning, a delicious breakfast awaited us. The host helped us exchange money for local currency, took us to exchange service for this, waited and brought us back. They also did not refuse us the opportunity to leave the car on the hotel premises after check out while we spent the day on the beach, which, by the way, is a 4-minute walk away. Fabulous! One of the best places I've been to!

This place is real gem in Kosgoda, near Bentota. Very quiet place- ideal for families. The family which rent to us this appartment is so welcoming, all was amazing. They really care for guests, help in each situation! All was clean, breakfest and grill food was amazing! The bathroom was just 💥, just perfect! Only 5 minutes walkikg to a quite beach with amazing waves, nearly is turtle farm. We saw big crabs on beach, big lizzard on street! This hotel have only 3 apartmants, so each guest are special !

We didn’t like comment in booking from indian guy who put bad review to this hotel. All was perfect!

Nice nearly new room with all amenities, access to a large yet fairly private swimming pool only share between few rooms so often on our own Sam, his family and team were lovely, taking care of us throughout including delicious food. You can also enjoy a message at Sri Palms. The beach is very close by, just at the end of the Sri Palms road which is a cul de sac In the evening we went to the beach with a light / phones and were able to see a leatherback sea turtle nesting (just remember to switch off your light as far as possible from turtles) The beach is also nice for a swim in day time or a stroll.

Hotel full of insects, flies, mosquitoes and bugs. Location was not safe and worst part rude staff and no food after 8 pm, definitely not safe if you’re travelling with kids and family.

Very clean, beautiful and made with soul. A quiet, secluded corner, just a heavenly place. A shower in a large room is a separate fairy tale. The food is very tasty! Thank you very much to the hosts, dear and kind people! We recommend it!

Very nice rooms, with amazing pool and calmness. All you need to truly relax. Beach is 5 minutes by walking. Staff is incredibly nice! They provide you with best ever mood, best ever food and even a professional massage for a very reasonable price! Also, we asked to decorate our room in a honey moon style upon arrival and it was sooooooo fantastic! Really happy to find this gem hotel! It’s new and very boutique-style, you will feel like it’s your personal Villa. Turtles conservation spot is 4 minutes walk as well.

Nothing. Just keep in mind that grocery stores are a bit away, you need to walk around 15 minutes to the closest one or hire tuk-tuk. Everything else is just amazing.

Sokun and his family and Crew were the most friendly, genuine and dedicated people in Sri Lanca. They keep the place spotless and the rooms, the pool and the terraces are impressive. The offer good high value food, and the SPA services are very professionel.

There was so many things we loved about this stay. The property was beautiful! It had everything we needed. The hosts were so welcoming and helped us with any problems. The food was so good. We had a private outside table and we loved sitting overlooking the pool, whilst eating the delicious Sri Lankan cooking. highly recommend this place.

This is a brand new hotel - we were the first guests in one of the rooms. Our experience was really great: The room was clean and the bathroom with the outdoor shower is a highlight. It is only a 3 min walk from the hotel to the beautiful beach and a turtle hatchery. The pool of the hotel is really big and the body treatments which we received were excellent. We also enjoyed the food, both breakfast and dinner. We highly recommend this hotel also because of the hosts who have shown great hospitality and flexibility to adapt to the needs of our family. The host and family are trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Such a lovely family! The bungalow is modern and very clean. Plus they have a menu and massage options as well as an ayurveda package deal, if you are interested. We enjoyed the calm area next to the beach and the pool a lot! I would definitely recommend a massage, too! Hope to come back and see you again!
