Erg knusse woning met een mooi dakterras met prachtig uitzicht over de hele stad. Het ontbijt was lekker. De gehele woning was tot onze beschikking behalve de keuken. Fijn dat de woning in de medina zat dichtbij gezellige straatjes en op loopafstand van het centrale plein. De host was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Er is geen aircondition aanwezig en het was 's nachts toch erg warm helaas. Er waren wel ventilatoren, maar die koelden niet voldoende. De ventilators van 2 slaapkamers die aan de muur hingen konden niet heen en weer bewegen en hingen slap naar beneden. Er waren bijen op het dakterras tijdens het ontbijt.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt! Der Ausblick war einfach traumhaft, das Haus ist wirklich einzigartig und etwas ganz Besonderes. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker und liebevoll zubereitet. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. 😊

Le principal point positif reste la dame qui préparait le petit-déjeuner, qui était vraiment très gentille, accueillante et attentionnée. Nous l’avons beaucoup appréciée en plus la terrasse la vue sur la montagne.

Une déception compte tenu du prix et de la description Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits à Dar Dauia et, malheureusement, notre expérience n’a pas été à la hauteur de nos attentes, surtout au vu du prix payé : 5 169 DH pour deux nuits. L’annonce présente le logement comme un appartement de 200 m², alors qu’il s’agit en réalité d’un duplex avec un escalier particulièrement haut et difficile à monter et descendre. J’ai moi-même chuté deux fois dans cet escalier, et ma mère a eu beaucoup de difficultés à l’emprunter. La belle vue se trouve à l’étage supérieur, ce qui oblige à utiliser cet escalier régulièrement. Un autre point important est l’absence de climatisation dans la partie basse du logement. La climatisation n’est présente que dans la chambre à l’étage, tandis qu’en bas, il n’y a que des ventilateurs. Ceux-ci sont assez bruyants la nuit, ce qui rend le sommeil difficile, surtout lorsqu’il fait chaud. L’accès à l’établissement en voiture est également très compliqué : route très pentue, étroite et accidentée, avec un passage difficile à trouver. Notre voiture a même beaucoup chauffé pendant l’accès. Ces informations devraient, à mon avis, être clairement précisées dans l’annonce, notamment pour les personnes âgées ou ayant des difficultés à se déplacer. Concernant le petit-déjeuner, il était très simple : œufs, fromage, confiture, pain marocain, café, thé et amlou aux cacahuètes. Pour le prix payé, nous nous attendions à une prestation plus soignée et plus en adéquation avec le tarif. En résumé, le cadre et la vue sont agréables, mais le rapport qualité-prix nous semble clairement insuffisant. Au vu du tarif de 5 169 DH pour deux nuits, nous nous attendions à un logement plus confortable, plus accessible et à des prestations correspondant davantage au prix demandé.

This was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. After a long and exhausting journey, staying here felt like a breath of fresh air. The property is absolutely beautiful, full of character, charm, and thoughtful details. It was clear that the owner has put a great deal of care, love, and attention into both the design and the comfort of guests. Every corner felt warm, welcoming, and carefully considered. The views were stunning, the breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared, and the lady who prepared it made the experience feel even more special and homely. A special thank you as well to the gentleman who welcomed us and showed us around. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and always happy to assist with anything we needed. His recommendations and guidance made our stay even better. Beautiful property, wonderful atmosphere, lovely people, delicious food, and a truly memorable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Le manque de signalisation pour accéder à L ebergement. La KASBAH n était pas indiquée. Difficile pour y accédez. Chemin trés étroit en descente. Il serait souhaitable de mettre une pancarte sur la grande entrée principale.

Ontbijt was vanaf 9 uur, maar we werden reeds om 7.50 uur gewekt door vriendelijk dame die het ontbijt kwam klaar maken tegen 9 uur (was heel lekker !)

The apartment was very near to the heart of the medina, which was amazing. The apartment was authenticly decorated, which added to the vibe of the place. The owner of the riad was.very attentive, he was able to find us a guide in a matter of 15 minutes and the guide was very nice!

The parking guard and the vallet are scammers, they forced us to use their services by grabbing part of our suitcases and than forcing us to give them 10€. While agreeing that these 10€ are for bringing our suitcases back to the top on the next day, the parking guard Ismail reached over WhatsApp to beg for more, forcing me to refuse his service and take the suitcases ourselves back to the top. The parking price is 60 dirhams per car per night - something that is not described in advance.

Un très beau séjour à la Dar Daouia ! La décoration est atypique et magnifique, parfaitement dans le thème et l’ambiance de Chefchaouen. La grande terrasse est idéale pour le petit déjeuner avec une jolie vue, mais aussi à visiter le soir pour admirer la ville animée en hauteur. Tout est très propre, et la dame qui prépare le petit déjeuner est vraiment aimable et serviable. Nous avons bien profité de notre séjour, une très belle expérience que je recommande vivement !

Ambiente freddi senza riscaldamento dato in dotazione stufetta elettriche ma ambienti si son scaldati al momento della partenza ,non abbiamo potuto stare in salotto causa freddo ,vi era una stufa a legna ,che losto ha affermato che era per decoro ,in verità abbiamo provato con un pezzo di carta ed e funzionante ,( la poteva accendere lui prima così vi era caldo )

Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable, even though we visited during peak winter. Hot water was never an issue (managed between 4 people only), heaters were provided in all the rooms, and the breakfast was amazing. It was a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely book this hotel again.

This traditional Moroccan house is located halfway up the hill, with truly wonderful views. It’s best to call the host before arriva, they will arrange for someone to meet you at the parking area and guide you to the property. The six of us had the entire traditional house to ourselves. It has three floors, three bathrooms, and six bedrooms. Breakfast was lovely, prepared by a local woman who served us authentic Moroccan dishes.

We stayed during Christmas. The only downside was that both the heating and hot water were a bit limited. It might also get quite warm here in summer, so I’d recommend checking reviews from guests who stayed in warmer months. That said, this is Morocco—facilities and conditions are different from what you’d expect in more developed countries. Even so, I still give it a full 10/10 for its charm, space, and authentic experience.

The property was very clean and looked just like the pictures. The host was very friendly and made sure we were comfortable upon arrival. The space was very cozy and the view from the terrace was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious as well.

Die Dachterrasse, das Frühstück und die Zimmer/Schlafzimmer inmitten bzw. über Chefchaouen machen die Reise zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis. Omar der freundliche Gastgeber hat einige hilfreiche Tipps auf Lager.

A beautiful, quirky house at the top of the medina with great views but close to a car park. Breakfast in the kitchen was delicious. The manager was very responsive and gave us lots of information about where to eat and what to see and do.

Жилье в жизни выглядит гораздо симпатичнее, чем на фото. Продуманы мельчайшие детали, очень аутентичный и приятный опыт пребывания. Обязательно остановимся снова, когда откажемся тут. Завтрак замечательный!

This place is AMAZING. I liked the photos but the place was even better. The communication with Omar was so efficient before and during our stay - he organised our lifts to and from the airport and everything was so smooth. The breakfast is fabulous as is the lovely lady that came to prepare it each morning. We have had an amazing stay and it was a bonus each having our own bedroom.

I didn't like leaving the beautiful house 😭 It's just too fabulous.

Omar was amazing—so kind and helpful, guiding us at every step and making sure everything was just right for us. The lovely lady in the kitchen made us feel so welcome and took great care of our breakfast with a smile. The location was perfect—only a quick 2-minute stroll to the center, making it super easy to explore everything on foot. If you’re coming with friends or family, this spacious house is a cozy, wonderful spot that feels like a home away from home!

Just one small suggestion — it would be great if every room had AC. It does get quite hot, and while the fans help, they don’t fully beat the heat. When we booked, we were told that the AC is only available in the top TV room. Thankfully, it cools down at night, but we felt having AC during the afternoon and evening would make the stay even more comfortable. We would have loved the experience even more if there were AC units throughout the accommodation.

Omar was very helpful & he made it very easy for us to communicate with him (via WhatsApp ) The lady prepping the breakfast was great & she did everything in her power to provide us with whatever we requested.

- Air cons are needed across the property. While Omar informed us that there was no AC in the house - he mentioned that it gets pleasant during the night. This however didn't work / apply to us & we all had to go to the top room ( TV room ) to sleep as that was the only room with AC's. The ground floor of the house was very hot & we were unable to spend anytime there. The fans at the property need to be better as they are tiny & don't do the work as we would expect them to :( For someone coming from Pakistan - we are used to heat - but this house needs to be more cooler :)

Amazing place! Was a great stay for our family. Host was amazing and had excellent Information for entire area. Super helpful! Location is exactly where you want to be. Parking was easy and getting around city is great on foot. This is the only place we will stay when we come back. Breakfast was excellent too! Thank you!

This place is an absolute dream! Such a respite after busy days wandering the Medina or hiking the trails up behind the Medina. I will definitely be coming back to use this beautiful place as home base for more hikes! Breakfast is lovely and these woman who takes care of things is so sweet. We had laundry done while we hiked and it was such a plus!!
