It was a very nice place to stay in the middle of the nature, the breakfast and the common areas were lovely

The only thing it was the dampness in the room and the mattress felt a bit old.

Separate toilet and shower rooms would avoid queues between students taking courses at the centre and those staying at the hostel

Staff was very accommodating to our schedule. They set up an early breakfast for our group since we had and early start the next day. the rooms were extremely comfortable and cozy. the location was quiet and secluded while having all the amenities one could need.

Ist recht abgelegen im Wald, (Vorteil sehr ruhig), auch wenn der nächste Ort letztendlich nur ca 15 min Fahrt entfernt ist, man benötigt ein Fahrzeug

The location is great, quiet/peaceful, only 5 min drive from the nearest town. The breakfast is phenomenal (homemade sourdough bread and jams!) and the people are kind. It just so happened that the Rekindle festival was on while I was there; I was able to enjoy an incredible concert on their property.

Very limited bathrooms/showers for the dorms and they were quite dirty. Unlike most dorms/hostels, there was no access to a kitchen.

I liked the dorms and how much privacy I had in it. There was good home made sourdough bread for breakfast.

There was only one bathroom for all the guests staying in dorms. Not only one had to wait but also it was getting very dirty very quickly. The pressure in the shower was basically non existent. I stayed for a few nights and the breakfast was the same every day and only sweet. As someone who prefers salty breakfast I had to bring my own. I was a bit sad seeing all that organic garden they advertise and not be able to try anything. That was perhaps the biggest disappointment.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, beautiful grounds. Location is central (with a car) to visit all of the stunning locations in the County and beyond

Ganz tolle Atmosphäre, eine Ruheoase (als ich dort war, waren nicht viele Gäste da), sehr freundliches Personal, sehr nett und gemütlich eingerichtet

Gemütlich und gutes Bett. Top Frühstück, mal anders mit den Nussmussen und dem selbstgerechten Brot. Ökologisch wertvoll.

Es fehlte ein Rollo oder ähnliches, es war viel zu hell im Zimmer.

Estuve dos noches y me hubiera gustado quedarme más. La habitación individual con baño compartido (entre dos habitaciones) es mejor que en las fotos. El desayuno muy completo con mermelada casera y pan... de verdad. Tuve la oportunidad de hacer un tour guiado por los terrenos del centro: están llevando a cabo un gran proyecto.

Really special Eco friendly option in Co Clare. Excellent value. Nice clean single room with shared bathroom. Excellent Breakfast included ( porridge, muesli, fruit, sourdough bread with a huge variety of spreads, every type of tea and good quality coffee)...so nice I booked a second night.

Die besondere Atmosphäre, alle sind sehr freundlich! Das Frühstück ist besonders! Selbstgemachtes Granola, Porridge, vegan und vegetarisches Angebot, Obst und selbstgebackenes Brot. Das Doppelzimmer war gemütlich und funktional mit neuem Badezimmer!

Die Lage auf dem Land. Willkommensvideo erhalten. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Frühstück sehr schmackhaft und als Buffet. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt perfekt

Lovely area! Clean simple rooms. Very happy for 2 nights. Also close to Doolin and the Cliffs of moher and available parking.

Even though all options for breakfast were homemade and healthy, it was only for vegan/vegetarian people. No hate but it was not advertised when I was making the booking. No proper breakfast options like eggs, cheese etc. I would say poor breakfast. Also it would be nice if there was a mini fridge in the rooms.

The breakfast was good, especially the self made bread. The room and bathroom were nice. We arrived after the reception was closed, but we had a nice phone call and received a video on our mobile phone with a nice Welcome message and all neces misary information for the check in.

We had the feeling, that the bed linen hadn't been freshly changed, as it was quite creased and locked well-worn

It was a beautiful location, although we had some trouble getting to it was the country roads. There was a large free parking lot (and they said it was being expended the day we checked out). It was very welcoming with a lovely atmosphere. There was a free homemade breakfast in the morning. It was simple porridge and yogurt with toast. The porridge, bread, and toppings were vegan. We had a lovely time, and would love to come back to enjoy the peace and quiet whenever we visit Ireland again.

The rooms were small, but it felt like just what we needed. They only provided body wash for the shower, so bring your own hair care and washcloth, if necessary.

I had a pleasant two night stay at the Common Knowledge Center. It's set in a beautiful location close to the Burren and Doolin with other small towns with nice shops and pubs even closer by. Their mission is cool! I appreciated they had gluten free bread and muesli out for me every morning at breakfast.

Noise travels a bit through the bedroom walls if there are guests staying in the rooms next to yours, so maybe bring earplugs or play ambient sounds on your phone if you're a light sleeper.

Die Lage war wirklich schön, inmitten der Natur. Das Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, aber alles war vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Leute vom Knowledge Centre waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es war interessant zu sehen, was dort alles an Workshops angeboten wird. Das Frühstück war Klasse! Super Sauerteigbrot und Porridge!

Das Waschbecken war extrem schmal.

The concept of the hotel was good (once we understood what it was) and we were pleased to support it. It is not the usual hotel set up with rooms to one side and communal living/eating areas to the other. But room was comfortable and all we needed and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. Breakfast in the morning was really lovely with good quality ingredients. Villages either side within close proximity for authentic pub meals.

Not a dislike but a suggestion….. perhaps a small blind for the bathroom window as someone could easily look in (albeit woodlands). Very remote road leading to the facilities. Just be prepared.

I was attending a Field Good Friday workshop on organic food growing and biodiversity in Common Knowledge so the location couldn’t have been better. Rooms are very clean and bed was super comfortable. It was my second time staying here and the silence at night and birdsong in the morning is fabulous. Breakfast was delicious. The staff are always lovely too. Luca did an amazing job with lunch (vegetarian curry with charred broccoli, carrot salad and pickled onion) - this was provided as part of the workshop.

Beautiful eco center with green roofs, a camping area, trails, & library. It was also centrally located to many places to explore in the burren area. A very peaceful place to stay.

A warmer shower would have gone down a treat

Sehr gemütliche Räume, modernes Bad und exzellentes Frühstück mitten in der Natur.

Utrolig venlig og gæstfri vært. Det var et spændende sted, der afholdt kurser i "gamle håndværk" (alt fra konservering af mad til gærdebygning og tømrearbejde). Morgenmaden er virkelig dejlig. Værelserne var fine. I den nærliggende by fandt vi Sideroad Tavern, der serverede ærlig mad (aften) under hyggelige forhold.

The most amazing place in Ireland (for like-minded people)

The location is great to visit the Cliffs of Moher, but it’s also pretty remote, so best to have a car. There are plenty of food and drink options a short drive away. The room was big, comfortable, and clean, with a huge bed. The breakfast was great, and staff were very friendly and helpful! The focus on sustainability shines through. There’s a big common area with seating, games, and coffee and tea all day. Would definitely stay again!

Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper and not a super early riser! It was very quiet during the night, but it got pretty noise with people getting up around 6am.

Breakfast and in fact all the food was wonderful. The welcome from staff was so warm. It's a lovely place in nature and I'd highly recommend it as base to explore the Burren.

Bed mattress was a too hard. Other than that room was so cute, cozy and very clean.

Heating in the room was turned on a bit later, but by the time we got back from dinner the room was nice and warm.
