The view and the place and staff was amazing!

Le lieu est incroyable et la vue est dingue. le personnel est au petit soins. Le seul problème ce sont les coupures d’électricité sur l’île, mais ils n’y sont pour rien. Ils nous ont fourni le moustiquaire à cause de ses coupures, car nous n’avions plus de ventilateur

Great location and very accommodating staff! Beachfront but still private. Just using a fan and the ocean breeze was sufficient for me. You can walk to many restaurants and also pay 500 pesos to use the pool at Yapak next door.

1. There was a dog barking incessantly all night most nights. Yelping like he was in pain. Like 5-10 barks per minute. 2. The facilities in general were nice and clean but after cleanings you. Could see what looked liked dust piles develop within hours in the bathroom and by the window. The bed would also quickly become littered with black specks. I’m pretty sure it’s termite infested… 3. You need to unplug the fan to change settings in order to avoid being shocked.

Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable. La vue est magnifique avec l'accès à la plage direct. C'est très simple, il ne faut pas hésiter à demander une moustiquaire à l'hôte.

Il faisait humide dans la chambre car la chambre n'est pas fermé.

The staff was very nice, the balcony room was fantastic view with private shower and Cr. The location at the quiet end of the beach was great

The location and the view, BUT...

... 42 EUR for a place like this is honestly a joke, especially in the Philippines. Yes, the location is amazing and yes the view is fantastic (right at the beach), but for this price, you get: - a shared shower (I should have checked before booking but still...) - a tiny double bed which is very uncomfortable - generally speaking an absolute budget travel experience (toilet, room, etc.) - bed was full of dirt when we arrived (staff was perfectly nice to change it though)

No tour, we didnt know where the showers were 😅 apparently the showers were outside the house.

just loved the place, you hear the waves all the time, just at the end of the little town, just perfect. for food there are many choices in walking distance.

I really loved the location of the stay. The room is super simple, but you have everything you need. It’s right on the beachfront. You have an amazing view from your room, and you can hear the sound of the ocean. They have lovely doggos and a cat too.

L'emplacement incomparable, à deux pas de Pacifico et de ses commerces, et les pieds sur la plage parfaite pour ses vagues. Les animaux, super amicaux et doux, qui nous accueillaient le matin. Le personnel, qui faisait le maximum avec les moyens du bord, quitte à proposer des alternatives si nécessaire.

Notre chambre au-dessus du garage n'était peut être pas adaptée aux tempêtes, et on a été envahi.e.s de geckos, et de leurs déjections. Ça et les autres insectes, et l'absence de moustiquaire, ont quelque peu nuit à notre expérience. Cependant le staff nous a relogé sans hésitation et tout s'est très bien passé.

2nd time staying here. As always, it's been a delight! The staffs and owner are lovely. Sea you soon ❤️

The location was ideal for surfers right on the beach with plenty of waves.

The room was ok, but did not have many plugs, and steep stairs to get to the loft room area.

Nous avons passé 15 jours ici et nous sommes triste de partir. Les deux femmes qui gèrent le homestay en l'absence des propriétaires sont adorables et font tout pour que l'on passe le meilleur séjour possible. L'emplacement est juste incroyable, endroit est calme , sur la plage et en face d'un super spot de surf . Emi et Annia les deux chiennes des propriétaires sont sûrement les chiennes les plus mignonnes de Siargao. Emmenez les se promener sur la plage ! Elles seront heureuses de vous accompagner et vous passerez un excellent moment. Si nous revenons aux Philippines un jour c'est ici que nous reviendrons sans hésitations !

Unterkunft ist sehr basic…

Eine wunderbare Lage direkt am Meer, Ruhe und Entspannung und einen Balkon in Richtung See ausgerichtet - was will man mehr? :-) Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt, die Eigentümer und das Personal sind sehr freundlich und die Unterkunft bietet alles um einen entspannten Aufenthalt zu genießen 🤙🏼😊.

The location and the view is amazing. Though no ac in the room. For me it was not a problem, as there was a big fan. It's quite rural, you might see lizards in the room. But again, for me it was not a problem.

Nothing really, the mattress could be a bit more comfy as there is a gap in between the two

Located right in front of the beach, the staff are incredibly nice and will even do your laundry if you stay long enough! If you don’t mind the basic comfort, it’s the perfect place!

My stay at the Blue Wave was wonderful, the staff is extremely caring, they kept the place super clean everyday and they treated me so well 😍 I can’t wait to go back to Pacifico and stay with them again, for longer time!

J'ai eu un accident de moto juste après ma première nuit passée ici. Le personnel a été aux petits soin avec moi et moi et ma famille les remercions de tout cœur. Quand au logement il s'agit d'un étage en haut de l'espace où l'on gare scooter et où l'on stock les planches de surf. On y accède par un escalier et la porte en haut est une trappe. Original. L'espace est très grand c'est appréciable. Vous serez bercé par le bruit des vagues. Les chiens étaient très gentils et adorables. A chaque fois que je voulais me promener à la plage ils étaient là 😊 Le personnel est d'une bienveillance et d'une gentillesse extraordinaire

Les escaliers peuvent paraître dangereux avec la trappe surtout qu'il n'ya pas de rampe et avec mes jambes cassés c'était pas évident pour monter et descendre pour aller aux toilettes. Fuite du plafond quand il a plu. J'ai déplacé le matelas par terre dans un endroit sec. La vue de la fenêtre sur les photos en bas du lit qui donne sur la mer, ne la donne pas vraiment car il y a un très grand arbre qui cache la vue. Mais vous aurez la vue mer avec la vue au dessus du lit.

J'ai changé de chambre le temps de retrouver des forces après l'accident et d'éviter les escaliers pour aller aux toilettes et salle de bain. Et cette chambre est juste exceptionnelle. La vue qu'elle offre à tout moment de la journée est magnifique. Surtout pour les lever de soleil. Le spot de surf est juste à quelques mètres du logement. Moi qui ne pouvait plus surfer j'ai apprécié pouvoir au moins les regarder. C'était un joli spectacle tous les jours. La chambre est très bien agencé. Le personnel était encore exceptionnel, bienveillant et aidant pour mes demandes Les chiens étaient adorables

The staff were absolutely excellent—so warm and attentive, making the whole experience feel special. The place itself is perfect for relaxing, with stunning views that instantly put you at ease. The lovely dogs added such a charming touch; I genuinely fell in love with the atmosphere. I’d definitely book again. Highly recommended.

El alojamiento estaba bien ubicado y las trabajadoras eran simpáticas. Las instalaciones, salvo la ducha, estaban bastante bien.

Primero nos dieron una habitación en la que habían termitas y las camas estaban llenas de sus heces. Al día siguiente, como no nos iban a devolver el dinero, pedimos un cambio de habitación. En la otra, habían cucarachas y insectos por todas partes, ya que en el alojamiento está todo abierto y supongo que también por falta de limpieza y cuidado. Así pues, no recomiendo este hostel ya que a parte de lo desagradable que fue todo lo vivido, no nos dieron más soluciones ni nos devolvieron el dinero.

The place was relaxing, clean, and gave a positive atmosphere. The Starlink internet was superb especially if you are a digital nomad. And the sunrise are breathtaking. You get to feel the waves as you chill on your bed.

Location was great right by the beach. Room was clean. Downstairs bathroom was clean. Had a nice communal area with kettle.

Everything was great! Amazing to see the fireflies in the night and wake up with the sea in front of me.

It was so relaxing.🌊 ✅Alice was super friendly and chill, she has two dogs and a cat they will escort you throughout your time there. The rooms and washrooms are clean. ✅ it's an amazing place to relax and enjoy your vacation.if you do surfing it's a great place because the waves in front of their beach are pretty good for surfing.

🛑Only downfall was the water supply while we were there the pump malfunctioned, we had to use stored water until it got fixed.. 🛑As we booked the shared washroom/bathroom room we didn't get the shower and the shower is downstairs which is quite inconvenient I felt.

Very friendly staff, excellent location, feels very safe and peaceful. Room was very cosy and the view from the balcony was superb!

The room is very basic and definitely not for everyone. Still, everything was nice if you are into simple things. For me the lack of AC however, was the biggest disadvantage, especially on a first (hot) day. Other than that, everything was very nice and pleasant experience!

Oh my! What an amazing place!! The owner and staff are super friendly. I just couldn’t believe my eyes when I entered the room….. best ocean view ever. And that in front of a surfbeach! Me as a surfer loved this place. Best stay I have had in Siargao. And the dogs + cat were lovely! They even walk with you to the beach. Thank you so much!

Maybe you could make a bed where the mattress will be put on. Now its 2 mattresses on the floor. They are not attached so had to replace it a lot (but I move a lot in my sleep haha).

Unbeatable frontline view of the ocean! this was our favourite stay of the trip, we loved sitting out in the garden facing the beach at night, being able to fall asleep listening to the ocean and watch the sunrise from bed. You can watch the surf from your room, rent a board next door and walk down to the beach to a really fun break. Overall just lovely, peaceful and as close to the beach as you can be

The water pump was not working during our stay so we had to shower and flush with buckets, no hot water in the property and no sink in the house so had to go outside at night to brush teeth, wash hands etc, added to the off the grid charm but not the most comfortable

I loved all the details to make you feel like home. I could watch the surf spot and the sunrise from my room. What would you need more ? I was sick for a day and the owner took good care of me. This homestay exceeded many others I've stayed in. Thank you :)

Great location with stunning view.

This was a dream location. Far from the main area but a paradise-like place with very few tourists, lovely animals and it’s so close to the beach that you can constantly hear the ocean. The balcony room was a dream, it was so nice that we actually cancelled some programs just so that we could stay inside, listen to the waves crashing and watch the surfers from our balcony. They even did our laundry for free which we were soo greatful for. Overall one of my favourite stays in the whole country, can’t recommend it enough! Amazing vibes 😍 I could have stayed there for weeks

The location next to the beach was amazing. we had the room with the balcony and it was so relaxing to watch the waves. The room had everything we needed - lovely shower and bathroom and everything was very clean. Nearby restaurants and beach were great.

Magical place, straight on the beach and just in front of the best surf spot in Pacifico. Strongly recommend the room with balcony, you have a lovely view of the sunrise over the sea. Good cold shower, no mosquitoes and no need for air-con. Sleeping with the sound of waves was priceless. Friendly and available stuff. Lovely dogs and cats in the garden.

We left early after Charlie the owner was aggressive towards us and told us to F off. He hates groups and is incredibly derogatory towards Filipinos, calling them filthy and idiots (two of us are ethnically Filipino so it was very hurtful). When we asked for advice (for boat trips) he got angry that we did not take up his recommendations (he took issue with the fact that we don’t have a ‘leader’?). He also has a problem with two male friends sharing a bed. After all that happened we felt unsafe and therefore did not spend the last night here. Also rooms have no air con and no fans so it’s very hot.

Super chilled host with a lot of interesting insights about life in the philippines. I wish we would habe had more time to stay in this wonderful accom. with a beautiful view!

We loved Charlie, the host! He couldn’t have been more helpful and we even had a few trips out on his bike to find my lost phone and get supplies! Location was perfect …. super close to surfing and fab restaurant/bar with infinity pool. Rustic shower but we loved it ❤️

Room was really hot during the day!

The host, Charlie, was simply amazing, telling us stories about the island, giving tipps and especially helping me out when I got into an accident while surfing. The location is perfect, walking distance to one of the best surfing spots, as well as all restaurants (the furthest ones being 10min away). Hope to come back here again soon <3

If you have ever dreamt of living right at the beach this is the place to go to. Life is simple and beautiful here. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves and woke up the sun rising over the ocean. Really beautiful.

We liked that this place is very simple and basic, but it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. There was no lock on the door of our room and we had to get used to that. We climbed the room through a steep stairs and bathroom was downstairs, it worked for us but might be difficult for someone else.

Location location location. This house on the beach has several different rooms but my room was wonderful. I had the room with the balcony and having the sliding glass door open with the ocean breeze and crashing waves sounds was lovely! Charlie the owner is an interesting and cool guy, very helpful. And he’s got some lovable dogs. If you’re a surfer, it’s just steps away. Highly recommend.

Very bad experience with the owner. He came across intimidating and crazy and we did not feel comfortable at all. We decided not to stay, there was also no water/electricity and we felt unsafe.

The place will give you a very unique experience. It's unlike your regular accommodation, it is an old house turned into a hostel. The owner and the care taker are very reliable. My room has an epic ocean view. It was lovely!

That I couldn't stay longer

Staying at Charlie's gives the total experience! It's immersing into Siargao Pacifico vibe. I loved waking up early in the morning to the sunrise and sound of the waves. I will never forget it's where i learned how to surf and it made me love surfing the whole experience! I had the single room no AC no light on my first night there due to barangay blackout, it all added to the great experience i had at the pacifico! Im grateful for your warm welcome CHarlie and i loved spending time with the dogs!@
