Cocoon Royale Resort is an exceptional nature retreat! Manager Ebin and his are fantastic hosts. Ebin deep knowledge of wildlife, especially birding, made our stay unforgettable. We had amazing nature walks where he shared insights on the habitat, and we even experienced the thrill of hearing a tiger growl during one evening walk. The walk to the Kabini riverbed was extraordinary, with birds along the riverbank. Despite the peak season rush, Ebin ensured we had plenty of peaceful walks. The staff is courteous, and the food was homely ambiance, on the other hand, was a delightful host who ensured the overall comfort of our stay. She was always approachable and attentive, helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere at the camp. The only minor downside was that a few rooms have obstructed views due to the compound wall. Highly recommended!

Situated alongside the Kabini river, this hotel in Wayanad is pure bliss and it’s serene picturesque has a soothing effect on the mind away from the city life. The food is very good, breakfast buffet is very good.. The rooms here are also very neat and clean. Acctivities like complimentary evening hi-tea, bonfire are also available. Overall, this property is highly recommended.

A special mention to RAHUL , who was extremely helpful, friendly, and supportive throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We also had an unexpected tyre puncture with our vehicle, and the entire staff was very supportive and helped us a lot in resolving the situation. We really appreciate their kindness and willingness to help. Overall, the hospitality was excellent, and we had a memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kabini! It was an awesome stay! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The facilities were well maintained and made the stay very comfortable. One of the best parts was the natural surroundings — there is a river nearby where you can hear the flowing water, and it’s close enough to walk to. A beautiful place to relax and enjoy nature.

Royale wooden villa Resort was peaceful haven full of lovely birds . We stayed 4 nights . The rooms were very comfortable with a spacious sitting area outside . The hosts were really helpful and accommodating to our needs (dietary). Food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. Surrounding the camp are some beautiful walks on the edge of the Wayanad reserve area . Our hosts were happy to accompany us on walks and point out birds and other wildlife . A highlight of our trip. Thank you we would love to come again.

It was a pleasure staying there. Near the river and a quote place.

The things described weren’t there. For example, the shed outside. The cleanliness of the bathroom was not sufficient. The luke and the corner weren't clean enough for foreign standards.

Complimentary breakfast was in limited option, but proper in quality and quantity. Location awesome, accessibility is manageable, maybe troublesome for aged people, but for young folk, its okay, Washroom standard, hot water available. Balcony facing the river, but riverside not accessible directly.

Wardrobe not supplied in room, that is one problem. Quality of towel, bed-sheet, linen, quilt can be improved, not as per proper hotel standard. Electricals are aged, some lights not working.

Calm serene place. The property is near to kuruva island. The resort arranged tickets to kuruva dweep for us. Me and husband had a great stay. Its totally value for money. We reached late evening and spend all evening chilling outside . The cottages face the stream and kuruva island beyond… weather was great when we visited. We really enjoyed our time together there. The food was great. The host, Rahul, arranged an early dinner which was delicious given the lack of restaurants around the area. Breakfast was delicious too.. Price wise the room, hospitality, the view…everything is a catch. Thank you

the best resort we have ever stayed. they have best cottages and best thing is they have kabini river flowing in front of the cottage and we can play easily there they don't have proper parking the way lead to cottages is itself beautiful over all top class resort to stay you don't feel like going out of the resort only

Five of us, all men had a great time there. If you are looking for a calm and peaceful place away from the noisy world, this is the place to be. Another plus point is this place is very close to Kuruva Dweep. The staff were very warm and friendly and the place was clean.

Absolutely loved this place for our 1 night stay A really tranquil place on the banks of river with the kuruva islands on the opposite side you wouldn’t hear anything but the sounds of nature A mng walk along the side of the river is something you would really enjoy

This has been by far the best place we have stayed in Wayanad. The owner and his recommended driver have been super helpful and kind. We absolutely recommended staying in here specially if you want see tigers and do safari's in Nagarhole or Bandipur.. Best experience ever.

The food served at the property is both delicious and reasonably priced, Staffs are kind and helpful, always ready to assist with any needs.

The bedsheets provided are not linen, but rather a standard blanket, which can feel a bit uncomfortable. The option for an AC room was not available.

We had a lovely time staying at the wooden house It is very cozy and the view from the balcony is stunning. Loved to stay at Royale wooden villa..the place is beautiful right near by kuruva island. It hurts to say that the matrrasses are quite hard because we really love this place and should wish to stay here again when we ever would come back in Kerala

Very silent and clean villa

There is no cupboard to hang your clothes. It is a private property, so there is no soap. They offer a towel, but the breakfast provided is according to the management.

CANNOT TAKE FOREIGNERS. We booked and they had to cancel us as they don’t have the right Government form yet. This info I did not see - just letting others know so as not to waste time

On the banks of river stream near kuruva island

Location is good.. kabini river flows near the property.. walk to the river to get a beautiful sight. But cannot go near the river.. the place is quite and serene.. The care takers are good and very humble.. special mention to Sanju for his prompt response. Also Rahul was very helpful.. he arranged for noght safari and vehicle on request...wifi works decent

Property is good but needs maintainance. Food was not good. Complimentary breakfast was below average.. limited menu for lunch and dinner which is ordered from outside as the property doesn't have a in-house restaurant..

The room and location were good, the morning breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very helpful.

The dinner at night wasn't good as it was ordered from outside by owner. Apart from that, everything else was fine. However, one thing I disliked was that they charged extra for the campfire. Being a villa, they should have included it as part of the experience instead of charging separately.

I liked the most that was staff behaviour and hospitality,well mannered staffs..completely satisfied with their hospitality..i visited many resorts in wayanad ..but this one is priceless ❤️

Visited a day tour with family. All are surprised by the location and hospitality. My family members were very happy kids enjoyed and are very happy thereby I'm satisfied by arranging this trip, as I found this wonderful location for my family get together. The staff has arranged night Safari too which is worthy. Overall very nice ambience good staff friendly nature mind relaxing trip.
