Nothing as such

The staff was good rest everything was bad. Food was not good at all. Location is also not so great that they're charging so much. Amenities also was not maintained. Pool water was not clean at all. They're charging different for pool view and mountain view but they're both facing the same side. Don't understand why they keep different charges. Not worth 6k a night at all. At max it should be 3k

The location, the huge suite, the serenity, the attendants and the food.

I believe a little more recreational options like a TT table and some indoor games like carroms and chessboards etc will add to the positives.

Our main preference was VEGETARIAN food which we got. Staff was very good , prepared nice tasty food, though not authentic taste but still good tasty food.

They need to redo the swimming pool and some sitting arrangements needs to be there near the pool.

Food, staff, location Great stay overall. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was very good, and the property itself was well maintained and pleasant.

A couple of issues could be improved — the exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working, and there seemed to be a problem with the WC as it was not draining properly.

Location, food and hospitality. Loved the location of the property. Every morning was serene with birds chirping and fresh air. Hospitality of Nikhil, Laxmi and Robin was excellent.

A fantastic relaxing resort in the hills of Wayanad, Kerala. First class accommodation of the highest standard experienced so far in India in an independent chain. Location with views across banana plantation, lush greenery, and cool, clean air. We were fortunate enough to arrive when peppercorn harvesting and some coffee bean harvesting and drying was taking place. The staff are exceptionally attentive, and there is a highly skilled cook who makes traditional food - the best so far in India. The breakfasts were superb with omelette and a selection of traditional dishes including idli, dhal samber, set dosa’s and many more, changing each day. Already a fan of Indian dishes from around the country, the Keralan food was different and the explanation of each dish ensured we enjoyed the dishes even more. There was enough at breakfast to keep you satisfied until the evening meals. The menu for dinner was broad and each dish distinguished itself from the others. We will dream of this food, long after we have left. The infinity pool is great to relax after a day trip from the resort, and good for watching the sun sink behind the distant hills. We had a day trip, on the advice of Nikhil, the owner, and it took us to the Irpu waterfalls, Kuruwa dweep island complex and Thirunelli temple. I have included a picture of the day trip board, as this shows trips to National Parks and more options on offer. The team have done everything to make our stay relaxing, and pleasurable - nothing was too much trouble. We feel privileged to have found this hidden gem.

There was nothing to dislike.

Our stay at Serne Crest was both comfortable and relaxing. This resort was perfect for our family, which included senior citizens and toddlers, as we were looking for a place that could provide a peaceful and accommodating environment. The resort is located away from the noise of the city (approximately 20 km from any major tourist spots); however, they did provide cab service for sightseeing. It is a great choice if your main goal is to enjoy greenery, calmness, clean air, and solitude. The resort was clean, with well-maintained toilets and bedding. There was a lovely garden where children could play freely, as well as a swimming pool. Special thanks to Ms. Laxmi for always being available and attentive to our needs—she was truly a gem. Thanks to Mr. Manish, Ms. Ashudhi, and Mr. Joy as well for their zealous and ongoing support. Finally, we would like to thank Mr. Nikhil—the resort owner—who ensured that our stay was comfortable and was always just a phone call away to address any requests. He made sure taxis were always available for sightseeing and also assisted us with our ride back to Bangalore.

There is room for improvement regarding accessibility for the elderly and disabled, as there are currently no ramps provided. Additionally, some fencing could be added to better protect children. The kids' play area and the swimming pool also needs enhancement. The food at the resort was tasty, though the options were somewhat limited. Service was a bit slow, but the friendly and patient staff more than made up for it with their positive attitude.

The staff were genuinely friendly and always ready to help, which made everything feel effortless. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable—perfect for unwinding after a day of activities. We loved waking up to the beautiful views, and the kids especially enjoyed the pool and the open areas to play. The resort’s layout felt safe and family-friendly, which gave us peace of mind. One of our favorite parts was the food. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. We also appreciated how relaxing the entire property felt—quiet corners, greenery, and plenty of places to just sit and enjoy the moment. Overall, Serene Crest Resort gave us exactly the kind of peaceful family getaway we were hoping for. We’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing escape.

The place is really good with great view. The food had to be pre-ordered so that you get it on time. Its a lovely getaway with lots of activities to do. Badminton, Pool, Swimming Pool and others, its a good getaway with family. You can actually spend time pretty good. The staff is very sweet. Liked the location as it was way aloof and quite and as the name suggest, quite Serene.

Would have really loved Air-Conditioner at the property. It was way hot and even 2 fans couldn't really help when its that hot. Television also needs some repairing.

The place really justifies its name. The rooms were spacious and clean. You get all the toiletries. The view from the room is refreshing. You get an infinity swimming pool which is one of the main highlights of the property. I had to mention the staff. Wow, their hospitality is wonderful. Always smiling and ready to help. Especially Lakshmi Chechi. She speaks so humbly and makes you feel at home. Food is good. You must try their TEA. It's really good. There are many activities for children as well as adults like quad bike, archery, cricket net, etc. You can easily spend a day or two without going anywhere here. We will definitely visit this peaceful place again!

Very nice laid back resort off the beaten track in Wayanad. Serene is the right word.. a wonderful place to rewind and take it easy. The staff are very nice and kind and as mentioned in other reviews the meals prepared by Laxmi are fresh, cooked to order and delicious. Any tours or sightseeing visits can be easily arranged if required. We loved it and I think you would too.

One of my fav resorts I ever visited The location of the serene crest resort is so perfect Its so calm,quiet and beautiful Perfect destination for a runaway from city life. The location is so good I really wanted to spend more time but I was short of time Beautiful scenery , view point is nice , the pool is excellent Overall it's very good. Put your busy city life behind and come here.

There are only some points which the resort missed 1. The glass door to the balcony didn't had any lock, which was not a big deal for me but it made my wife a little insecure 2. The TV had channels , of course cable but I wished it had connection to internet to use my hotstar/prime 3. The food is average, that's not the issue with resort but it's wayanad, manathavadi so I expected this before I arrived at the resort

We had a fantastic time at Serene Crest Resort. we were a group of six people and we had the best holidays here.The staffs were exceptionally welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The food was delicious. Also they had a wide range of activities offered at the resort and the pool was spacious and clean. we had a very good time here.

The only issue we had was the Wi-Fi, which frequently disconnected, possibly due to the thunderstorms from previous night

Great resort with many activities for the family. Loved the food there as well as the surroundings and the large infinity pool. Staff is extra courteous and go to lengths to make it memorable. Loved the property and the greenery and the vegetable garden as well. Definitely recommend! Relaxing and rejuvenating!

I don't think we could expect anything better. Such was the overall experience. Overall, a memorable experience where short comings, if any at all should be ignored, though we did not undergo any challenges during our stay.
