Unfassbar schöne, stilvoll und liebevoll gestaltete Unterkunft. Alle Personen die dort arbeiten sind sehr zuvorkommend und herzlich. Tolles Frühstück, tolles Abendessen. Sehr gute Lage. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen.

La fraîcheur à l'intérieur du Dar grâce aux arbres majestueux qui offrent un refuge au oiseaux chanteurs. La décoration des lieux non ostentatoire est très réussie et de très bon goût. La gentillesse et la discrétion de la personne qui nous a accueilli. Sans compter les plats excellent proposés : ne passez pas à côté du tajine de poulet à la poire ! C'est un havre de paix à quelques 40 km de l'oasis de Tiout.

Magnifique Riad au sein de la ville de TAROUDANT. C'est un véritable hâvre de paix, de calme et de sérénité. Le personnel est très agréable, les repas excellents, et le logement était top ! Une très belle découverte.

La déco exceptionnelle. Des années que je rêvais d’y aller. Je n’ai pas été déçue. Tout est simple, traditionnel, reposant, charmant. Des détails merveilleux. Un goût très, très sûr. De la végétation, une très bonne cuisine (je suis une habituée de la cuisine marocaine). La gentillesse de l’accueil aussi. La simplicité des relations enfin.

Un tout petit détail : pas de vrai miel au petit déjeuner.

Le calme, l’emplacement et la beauté du lieu. Très bon dîners et petits déjeuner.

Tout était super, peut être des choses à améliorer: plus de lumière dans la chambre et la salle de bain que l’on avait. Ajouter des fruits au petit dej.

Tout est exceptionnel. De l’emplacement, à la décoration fantastique, à la cuisine absolument délicieuse et une équipe aux petits soins. Notre coup de cœur après 8 établissement sur un voyage de 15 jours. Merci pour tout.

Quelques difficultés à avoir de l'eau chaude, corrigé après intervention du personnel. La chasse aux moustiques dans la chambre le premier soir, peut être dû au fait que la chambre se trouvait au dessus du point d'eau, ou à la végétation luxuriante.

What a great discovery! The garden in the centre of the riad is so beautiful, we've enjoyed breakfast and dinner with birds singing and flying all around us. It felt like being in a fairytale. The overall design of the place is so chic too. We took the private apartment room and it was stunning! Spacious, comfy and full of light!

Smaakvolle inrichting. Alles heel netjes. Tuintje centraal, met prachtige bomen. Als een stukje tropische jungle. Hier en daar gezellige zitjes. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Lekker ontbijt. Zeer lekkere maaltijd. Prima wifi. Gemakkelijke en veilige parkeerplaats kortbij (20 Mad/dag).

Wat meer licht op de kamer zou handig zijn. De opstelling van douche/wc is niet 100% gelukkig. Maar daar verbetering in brengen is waarschijnlijk moeilijk. Misschien een extra voetmat voorzien om na het douchen met droge voeten naar wc te kunnen.

Eine Wohlfühloase mit vielen gemütlichen Rückzugsorten. Die Einrichtung und die Integration mit den Pflanzen ist absolut einmalig. Essen und Frühstück ausgezeichnet und fantasievoll.

Mein Zimmer war zu eng und zu klein.

Un magnifique dar mieux en vrai qu'en photo, une décoration superbe et un havre de paix exceptionnel parmi la végétation. Le lieux est reposant et propice à la détente, il y a plein d'endroits pour se poser et lire. Il manquait un peu de soleil lors de notre passage trop court à Taroudant mais j'imagine que cela doit être extraordinaire de se rafraichir dans le bain, écouter la fontaine couler ou lézarder sur la terrasse. C'est une adresse où j'aimerai revenir pour y séjourner plusieurs jours. Le contact avec la propriétaire a été parfait, Elle nous a transmis un tas de choses à explorer à Taroudant et ses alentours. Merci pour cette pause enchantée.

What a beautiful place to spend a couple of nights. Our room was lovely, and the staff were so friendly. The airy, plant filled dining area had a very relaxed atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious.

El interiorismo espectacular, la cocina y el personal

We were made to feel very welcome, from the complementary mint tea upon arrival to arranging our departure transport, every interaction was warm and helpful. Sana, the Manager is kind and efficient, Hennen gave an incredible massage and the dinner was outstanding. The decor is suburb - tasteful, with several spots to relax within an oasis of green.

The mattress on the bed was particularly hard and breakfast was basic [bread and jam]

The Dar was absolutely stunning and so peaceful. Staff were very friendly and the food was delicious, both breakfast and dinner. We treated ourselves to an Argan Oil massage at the hotel which made it even better.

Un petit paradis, vraiment reposant, un accueil très chaleureux et d’une gentillesse. Il ya un parking gardé à côté de l’hôtel. Le repas excellent, cuisine maison vraiment rien à dire.

Riad magnifique caché au bout d'une ruelle. La décoration est superbe digne d'un 4 étoiles. Un parking est à disposition très proche du riad. Nous avons été très bien reçu et avons eu un dîner de qualité dans ce cadre de rêve.

Tout était parfait, le lieu magnifique, décoré avec goût, le service exceptionnel, le dîner et le petit déjeuner exceptionnel aussi. Mille mercis pour ce très bon moment

Wunderschöner Riad. Man fühlt sich in der Zeit zurückversetzt, denn es gibt nichts aus Plastik. Möbel, Decken, Geschirr sind aus hochwertigen landestypischen Materialien. Auf der Dachterrasse lässt es sich angenehm entspannen. Das Wasser in der Dusche ist wirklich heiß und es gibt einen Gasofen, der das Zimmer gut erwärmt.

Im Winter ist es , abgesehen von den Zimmern, zu kalt um die wunderschönen Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien zu genießen. Ein Riad mit seiner offenen Bauweise ist einfach für die Hitze und nicht für die Kälte gebaut.

Dar Zahia is an oasis in a bustling city. The only noise was that of the birds coming home to roost in the evenings and leaving in the mornings. The food (breakfast and dinner) prepared by Fatima was of a very high standard. Sana, the manager, gave us all the information we needed for day trips etc and was always on hand. She was an excellent host. We had an amazing stay.

I know that the owners are creating a restful space and they have done that with aplomb. However it would have been nice to have one brighter light in the bedroom to facilitate reading a book etc.

An oasis of stylish tranquility in the middle of the medina, with great evening dinner

Really beautiful riad with lovely courtyards, plants, alcoves, artworks etc. Dinner and breakfast excellent. Rooms had lots of character and were very comfortable.

Couldnt get hot water in the converted haman shower which was a shame.

A bit overpriced given the location

Sehr freundlich, Sana spricht gut Englisch, die anderen Frauen Französisch. Sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll gestaltet. Im Zimmer im Bett war die Temperatur passend, sonst im Dezember bei Regen eher auf der kalten Seite. Stadt sehr authentisch, man fällt total auf.

Sehr schwer zu finden. Kaum Touristische Personen in der Stadt, Einheimische verstehen nicht mal das Wort Hotel.

Le personnel adorable et bienveillant, le jardin splendide et très bien entretenu, les Matériaux anciens et authentiques utilisés de façon contemporaine, la cuisine et le petit déjeuner.

Notre chambre au Rez de chaussée un peu sombre, mais il y a plein de petits salons dehors.

Shower outside of our private space however it was quiet at the Riad so not many people around at the time of our stay.

Dar Zahia is a beautiful place - an oasis in the charming chaos of Taroudant - its garden and plunge pool were a delight after a long hot day - and Sana and her team were perfect hosts. Highly recommended!

Dar Zahia est une très belle maison, facilement accessible dans la médina avec un parking à moins de 2 mn à pied. Beaucoup d’arbres et d’oiseaux, deux charmants patios, des espaces de repos aménagés un peu partout. Nous avions réservé une des suites du 1er étage. Vaste, très bien équipée et décorée avec goût. Sana est d’une grande gentillesse et nous a reçus comme des amis. FatimZahra nous a cuisiné un délicieux dîner.

The DarZahia was perfectly placed for exploring Taroudant on foot and provided a quiet haven, especially on their top floor terrace, to relax in away from the normal business of a Moroccan City. Dar Zahia is beautifully done up, and the rooms, whilst fairly small, had everything you needed for your stay. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were wonderful and helpful.

Beautiful riad with pleasant staff and wonderfully decorated rooms. The rooftop terrace and garden proved a nice break from the bustle from the city. Def recommend when you visit Taroudannt.

Be warned, the Dar is next to a Mosque. The morning prayer will wake you up, we didn't mind though.

It is a superb place. Sana is very helpful. Breakfast could have been more varied though.

Dar Zahia is incredible! A thoughtfully designed and lovingly maintained oasis in the Medina. It was one of the best places we stayed over 3 weeks in Morocco. The staff Sana and Fatima were so warm and helpful. We ate at Dar Zahia both nights of our stay and the food was superb. The room had the most lovely outlook into the central courtyard garden and was so beautifully designed. Highly recommend!

Very minor, but the wifi didn’t reach the top rooms so could be slightly improved.

The place is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is peaceful. The host also provides several excellent recommendations for activities both in the city and nearby.

No complains, really. Our favourite stay in Morocco.

Dar Zahia is a lovely property inside Taroudant, which is a good city for a stopover. We had a lovely dinner in the evening inside Dar Zahia which we enjoyed!

The Algerian owners of Dar Zaria have created a special ambiance for their riad. Both open and covered areas lie adjacent to a three floor open garden space with trees which reach right to the top. Add to this a huge diversity of flowering vines and varied vegetation. Spaces are delightfully filled with a collection of artesian. Our suite was commodious, tastefully decorated and well lit. The rolled bath was attractive. The staff was attentive; our meals were well prepared and tasty. We could not have asked for a better experience.

All was good.

One of our most memorable stays in Morocco, we have thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The owners were uniquely kind and attentive, it almost felt as if we were staying with family. The diners we have had were really amazing and the overal styling and atmosphere of the rooms (and property in general) is fabulous. We highly recommend it!

If you are looking for something stylish, the kind of house that features in architectural and design reviews, this is it! It is a renovated riad which respects the local tradition and has sophisticated modern touches. Few can pull this off in style. This is a previous holiday home for the owners who happened to be there when we visited. We ate dinner at the same table and felt very welcome, the food was delicious. The hosts and staff are most gracious. We also got one of our rooms upgraded which was appreciated. There is not much to do in Taroudant itself but you wouldn't go wrong by planning your itinerary around this stylish stopover.

This Riad is beautifully decorated, full of charm and character. We were truly impressed by how tastefully designed it is. The room was spacious, well-decorated, and everything met our expectations. The hosts were delightful, offering us the best tea and engaging in warm, genuine conversations while also giving us useful tips about the area. Although we visited Taroudant as more of a transit stop rather than a destination, staying at this Riad made it feel special and worth the visit. There's private parking just a 3-minute walk from the Riad, which is clearly marked from the street, making it very convenient. While I haven't stayed at other accommodations in the area, I’ve visited many during my travels in Morocco, and I can confidently say that this Riad is among the best, competing with places that charge much higher prices.

In two rooms the water pressure and temperature of the showers fluctuated between very hot and cold. The bed was very high, over a meter. I had to climb onto it! Staff not always present. The owner manages it from France. Breakfasts were delicious pancakes and jam but quite basic. Milk not always available. Fresh fresh fruit would be nice. Quite expensive.

Loved the style and decore. Really nice staff, excellent food too. Best omlet ever!

Beds where a bit hard for my liking, but some people like this.

Down a short cul de sac in the Medina , the entrance door led into a very beautiful , green courtyard garden area with a fountain … such a pleasant atmosphere . Our rooms were adjacent to each other on the garden floor . Upstairs where our breakfasts and dinners were served was also was filled with climbing trees , bugenvia, palms and cactus . Birds chirped at dusk and two doves were building their nest above the fountain. Our warm and friendly hostess Zenia ( spelling ?) greeted us and took such good care of us during our entire stay . The breakfast was varied and complete with toast , crepes , cheese , yogurt ,jams and honey and a large pot of brewed , hot coffee . We had two delicious dinners served in the candle lit courtyard , while classical piano music played softly nearby. Both my sister and brother-in-law are excellent cooks themselves , but they raved about the French -Moroccan cuisine that was prepared by our smiling and talented cook. The beautifully understated interiors and the fantastic old adobe architecture highlighted the ambiance of this magical Riad .

Not a thing , everything was perfect in our opinions .

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff were really friendly and the food absolutely delicious - without doubt the best we had in our 11 day trip to Morocco.

Little disappointed to find out the garden and larger pool were closed - had seen them on the hotel website so assumed we would be able to use them. Otherwise the hotel was amazing and does have a lovely plunge pool!

Wir wurden im Dar Zahia von seiner gastfreundlichen Crew empfangen und verwöhnt. Das Riad wurde mit regionalen Materialien erbaut und stilvoll eingerichtet - ein Erlebnis, auch für Designliebhaber. Sanas Tagine war wunderbar, ihre hausgemachten Konfitüren mit Obst aus dem eigenen Anbau ein Genuss.

The place is misrepresenting itself, the bathroom is not private only the shower is. You have to get out of the room and walk through the courtyard to get to the toilets. Room was infested with mosquitoes. For the price the room was very small. It was getting loud in the morning due to other guests. Other than that the design is gorgeous proving great taste, the gardens were wonderful. Reservations/directions were efficient even though this was a last minute booking. Probably peaceful only if you rent the entire dar for yourself.

We stayed at DarZahia for 3 nights in November. Zahia (the owner) was not there but sent us a number of emails in advance with things to do in Taroudant and the vicinity, which was really helpful. The staff working there Belaïd and Fatima were excellent, really friendly and made us feel at home- Belaïd was really helpful showing us around town and Fatima's food was superb. The accommodation itself is beautiful and the roof terrace garden was in full bloom. It is a great place to relax and enjoy following a day in the mountains or the souk. In the evening we ate in the drawing room in front of a log fire, and the riad had candles lit throughout, very romantic and atmospheric. Many thanks to everyone there for a fantastic stay.
