Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Beautiful, cozy apartment close to main town. We walked in less than 20 minutes. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen well set up with everything you needed to cook a meal. We walked from the apartment to the lookout over Alesund via the Forrest. Amazing views of the town.

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026Geräumige Schlafzimmer, kleine aber gemütliche Wohnküche und etwas beengtes Bad. Die Lage ist Fluch und Segen zugleich: positiv ist die kurze Entfernung in die Innenstadt und auf den Aksla, negativ siehe unten.
Die Lage in einer extrem steilen engen Straße ist nichts für Fahranfänger oder drehmomentschwache Fahrzeuge. Man kann zwar direkt vor der Tür im 90-Grad-Winkel zum Gefälle parken, aber das Hineinrangieren ist schon eine Herausforderung. Auch ist es eher ungewöhnlich, dass bei den kaffeeliebenden Norwegern eine Kaffeemaschine in der Küche fehlt. Dass das Licht im Flur nicht steuerbar ist, sondern von der Vermieterin in ihrem Teil des Hauses mitgesteuert wird, ist etwas merkwürdig.

Reviewed Oct 9, 2025Die Bewertung kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, ich war total entsetzt. Die Küche war total dreckig. Im Bad vergilbte und verschlisse Handtücher. Die Dusche war einfach ekelig. Eine Grundreinigung wäre mal dringend nötig.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2025L'appartamento è un piccolo gioiello sulla collina di Aalesund in stile norvegese, tutto in legno e ricco di comfort e atmosfera. Karoline è un'host attenta e questo si vede in tutti i particolari. Ve lo consiglio caldamente se volete aggiungere fascino alla vostra vacanza. La casa si trova in una strada in ripida salita ma la vista e il silenzio ripagano della fatica. Vi troverete inoltre più vicini a un bel sentiero panoramico che porta a Fjellstua e ad altri percorsi per il monte Aksla. Parcheggio privato a vostra disposizione. Grazie Karoline!
Doverlo lasciare. Se proprio devo trovare un neo, il mobile del bagno è montato troppo in alto e vicino al pensile con lo specchio e questo non permette di utilizzare il lavandino comodamente.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2025Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Es hat nichts gefehlt. Die Lage ist optimal, mit Parkplatz direkt vor der Haustür, um Alesund zu erkunden. Man kann viel zu Fuß erreichen. Nette Vermieterin, es ist war sehr unkompliziert und sehr angenehm.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2025The location is perfect for people traveling by car, as they offer private parking. It's also within walking distance to everything. The rooms are a good size, really nicely decorated, and have a cosy feel to them. The kitchen had all the essentials, including tea, coffee, salt, sugar, cooking oil, and more, which was a thoughtful addition.
One downside was that you could hear the owner's pets quite clearly, which was a bit disruptive at times.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2025Das Zimmer mit eigenen Sanitäranlagen war groß, die Betten sehr bequem. Alles war sauber. Die Lage in Alesund ist zentral, so dass man schnell im Zentrum ist. Man kann auch von der Wohnung direkt steil auf den Aussichtsberg von Alesund wandern, wenn man möchte. Die Aussicht auf die Stadt ist grandios. Das Haus liegt an einer steilen Straße, was aber mit dem Auto machbar ist. Wir können diese Unterkunft in Alesund nur empfehlen, da auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Frühstücken kan man ganz in der Nähe.
Es gibt nicht wirklich Negatives. Alles war gut.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2025Die Wohnung ist ziemlich zentral gelegen. Ein Einkaufsmarkt ist in 5 Minuten erreicht (zu Fuß). Die Wohnung ist mit 3 Schlafzimmern ausgestattet und hat eine kleine Wohnküche. Wie immer war der Aufenthalt zu kurz. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Reviewed May 30, 2025Nice collection of teas and coffees which were welcome on arrival. Easy to reach by public transport. Really handy for a quick way up to “the” viewpoint in Ålesund. Friendly responsive hostess.
Being without a car, the location was really steep with suitcases but the property offers parking so only an issue if you haven’t hired a car/ booked a taxi.

Electricity was problematic when we turned on the stove. The street is really steep and only an experienced drived can park there.
