Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The place was very well arranged, with taste and had everything you need. What stood out is the feeling that it has been designed to make you feel like home, with little details and attentions making the whole difference. The location is prime with a beautiful sea view. The host was very responsive and kind, and instructions very clear, making it all smooth and relaxing.
That I couldn't stay longer :)

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026We hebben heel erg genoten van ons verblijf. De host was heel vriendelijk en fijn! Communicatie top!! De studio was van alles voorzien En helemaal top in orde!! Een echte aanrader!! De hippodroom is zeker ook een aanrader, dit was echt de moeite.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Spectacular view and easy access to a pristine section of Oostende beach. We enjoyed the tasteful and comfortably decorated studio, the sliding glass door that opened all the way for a fantastic sea breeze, and hanging out on the private balcony. The host left coffee pods and a couple cookies and chocolates and the apartment was adequately stocked. Also a large collection of board games and a few beach accessories. It was a quiet, beautiful escape.
Be very sure to read all the fine print concerning what is and is not included in the rental. The host left a very extensive list of chores and expects guests to leave the studio in spotless condition for the next guest. Arrival and checkout times are unusually late/early (the host allowed us to check in early for an additional €25) and towels are not included - they are provided but the host charges extra. The directions for taking out the trash to the basement were wrong and it's a bit of a production if you are not familiar with the layout of the building. The kitchen is tiny (to be expected in a small studio) and the bath tub/shower needs some work; the floor flexes and the showerhead also doesn't stay up for a tall person. Ultimately, we felt that the host is charging hotel room prices while providing a vacation studio experience. Even a slightly friendlier note of cleaning expectations with slightly less hostile language would have made us feel more welcome and comfortable in the space. The €150 deposit did not appear in my bank account after 7 days as promised and did not post until after I contacted the host 10 days from paying the deposit. I also had to prompt the host to give access code numbers and instructions upon arrival.

客人在房间留了两张各种事项的字条，但是是手写的，也不是英语，所以基本上对于非欧洲客人来说，不容易读懂。拿钥匙是要到进门旁边那里用密码打开，还有我有一位比利时朋友帮忙打电话，否则可能会有些沟通障碍。

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026La vue directe sur la digue et la mer, la présence d'un balcon. Literie très confortable. Présence de petites choses comme du thé, du café, de la confiture même si j'avais prévu, l'attention est là... Mon fils était aux anges, nous reviendrons !
Je pensais trouver un lecteur dvd comme précisé donc j'avais prévu un film pour mon fils. Je n'ai jamais trouvé le lecteur. Contretemps vite compensé par un accès à Netflix ! Encore mieux ! 😊

Bed was uncomfortable as it was supposed to be a double but was actually 2 singles pushed together which sagged in the middle as the mattresses were soft. Very heavy duvet so it also felt too hot. Shower was leaking in the bathroom.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Klein appartementje met een prachtige uitzicht op zee. Je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt van verrekijkers tot bordspelletjes, koffie, thee,… Tv zenders zoals Telenet. Alles was naar onze zin! Zeker een aanrader! En de gastvrouw was zeer vriendelijk we kunnen niet klagen.
Alles was in orde.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Appartement bien équipé, propre, super bien placé, directement sur la digue avec balcon face à la mer et les mouettes pour nous réveiller. Il ne manquait de rien dans le logement, on se sentait vraiment comme à la maison. Un énorme plus, la nuit il fait incroyablement calme ! C’est un plaisir de s’y reposer. Notre hôte nous a envoyé toutes les indications pour récupérer les clés et accéder à la chambre (photos et vidéos), et est restée en relation avec nous durant le séjour pour savoir si nous étions bien installés dans la chambre, si nous avions apprécié le séjour, etc. Nous reviendrons à coup sûr. Appartement à découvrir et redécouvrir les yeux fermés !

Dit is het verdienmodel van de host aangezien voor alles een toeslag zal gerekend worden, zie foto's, basisvoorzieningen zoals lakens zijn zelfs niet aanwezig. Ook als handdoeken niet gebruikt geweest zijn rekent de host dit zonder te checken aan en weigert achteraf dat deel van de borg terug te betalen. Host probeert mensen te overhalen een goede beoordeling te geven door een gratis overnachting aan te bieden.

Maar het mooiste is natuurlijk het geweldige uitzicht op zee. Patricia is een fijne host. Snel en makkelijk in het contact.

Te duur en te kort voor 1 nacht. Om 17u mochten we pas binnen. En ook al mag de volgende pas om 17u binnen (in dit geval om 12u omdat ze bijbetaald hadden) was er om 10u niemand te bespeuren. Maar we moesten er om 10u uit want het alarm werd opgezet. Ook heel onvriendelijk toen we de instructies niet konden volgen om binnen te raken. De filmpjes werden in foute volgorde verstuurd vandaar de verwarring. Handdoeken in badkamer nog eens 5€ per persoon bijbetalen. Er wordt gevraagd om alles te stofzuigen net voor vertrek.
