The bath was very uncomfortable and took ages to fill up, water wasn't hot enough. The kitchen needs a good frying pan.

This beautiful house is situated in a peaceful area with a walkway to the beach through the greenbelt directly from the house...everything about this house and area just screams perfection. Anna is a fantastic host and she provided great information about Jeffreys Bay and she is very fast with her responses to questions. I can really recommend The Blue Dragonfly, as it has everything and we were sad to leave after 10 nights stay. Thanks Anna!

It was cold. There was a blanket on the couch but it was during winter some sort of heating element would be great. The bed doesn’t cater for tall people. Maybe a queen sized bed?

Absolutely everything lol, the view on the outside patio mostly is amazing for watching the sunset and rise. The house is equipped with everything you need. Anna is an amazing host, made the stay special for me with an extra request I had. The house is well maintained

This is a lovely house, very well equipped and the host couldn't be more helpful. The decor is fabulous and we enjoyed our stay very much. The beach nearby is lovely and deserted, and the area seems exceptionally safe as none of the local houses have the usual security fences etc. we loved it, and the local cat Mufasa was a regular visitor and friend. We would go back in an instant. Bush bucks randomly wandered up and down the road.

The hot water geyser failed during our stay over the weekend and although the plumber came straight out it needed replacement which was booked for the Monday when we left, this was unfortunate, but no reflection on this lovely property and its owner. My wife has mobility issues and the walk to the beach was a bit too far for her, fortunately a short drive away is a car park with level access which has much easier access.

It’s like a dream beach house. It had everything we needed for our stay and the spaces living area and kitchen and terrace are so beautifully decorated and comfortable. Just few minutes walk to the beach and so quiet day and night.

We could tell an extra effort was made to decorating the place plus it was super clean. We made a very last minute reservation and when we arrived in the evening the lights inside had been turned on for us. There were also lights on the staircase which added to the ambiance. Anna provided us with information and internet pages plus directions to various restaurants, cafe and grocery store. We dined at Kitchen Windows which was excellent as was the Indoor cafe. Deck was lovely as well with well indicated oath to beach. Thanks for your quick replies as well.

The coziness of the place was very nice which was only emphasized by the soft lighting ✨️ The glass windows provides plenty of light to find its way inside and the patio is a nice recluse for a gentle breeze and sunbathing.

An upscale beachcomber house-on-stilts that delivers a chill-out Santa Monica-style experience. Lots of living space, a well-resourced kitchen (every conceivable gadget) plus a Smeg oven and hob for prepping lovely meals, and wrap-around balconies on two sides to catch the sun and breezes all day and evening - it was perfect for unwinding after a long tour through the Garden Route. Bonuses: washing machine, dishwasher, and a cool shell-like bath to luxuriate in after beach rambles (as well as a separate shower). Very comfy bed and loads of wardrobe space. TV with a bluetooth soundbar to connect your own music while you relax.

Recommended for car drivers - getting an Uber seems to be a challenge: maybe being across the causeway in Paradise Beach means less availability; who knows - perhaps I was just trying on an overly busy Saturday morning. But the plus on the flip-side is that it's blissfully quiet, away from crowds, near the sea, and safe.

The accommodation is set in a quiet, serene area, yet it’s within walking distance to the beach and conveniently close to most amenities, making it the perfect blend of relaxation and accessibility. Diese Unterkunft war einfach fantastisch. Ruhig in einer sicheren Lage. Sie war sehr komfortabel und schön eingerichtet. Sehr sauber. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Auch die Kommunikation lief reibungslos.

Everything was perfect. The visiting cat "Mufasa" is very loveable.

When coming back from beach, the tap to clean feet is surrounded by sand so your feet get a bit dirty again, but this such a small thing and does not detract from the place at all.

Everything was as it is displayed in the photos. The host Anna is very friendly and gave us great tips for places to visit before our arrival. Perfect self-catering unit with everything you need and a cute cat Mufasa to brighten your day!

I loved everything!

Do not go there! Wife is very nice but husband violent!!!he just came over at 8am to cick us out. he came into the house, screamed at us and insulted my fried. It was the worst experiences we had in SA. Just because we comlpaint there was no dryer,no netflix and no HOT SHOWER! He is very bad guy...please stay away from this house....its not safe

This property was amazing. It was clean, beautifully decorated, full equipment with everything you may need and the owner put a lot of effort to make sure that it’s an awesome place to return home to after an awesome day at the beach. Loved everything about it and will definitely be staying there again!

We had some issues with the hot water the day we arrived however the owner was so easy to contact and ensured that everything was back to normal within 30 min!

Wir haben eine Nacht auf unserer Reise in diesem wundervollen Haus verbracht. Die liebevolle Einrichtung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin Anna war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert. Die Nähe zum Strand ist toll und der paradise Beach ist wunderschön. Schade dass wir nicht länger geblieben sind.

we experienced issues with the gas hot water geyser. also due to causeway closure had to travel some distance on gravel road.

I’d really like to have a sleeper couch/mattress so that we can bring or two daughters with next time.

Stairs need a non slip surface applied. I took a very nasty fall. There were no instructions on how to use the TV

Lovely apartment, a short walk from the beach. The bed was very comfortable. Sitting out on the deck with a glass of something cold is very nice. It was very quiet, we saw no-one!

There dont seem to be any bars, restaurants, or shops in the close vicinity, so bring what you need.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Accommodation. The deck was absolutely phenomenal, and it truly felt like a perfect beach house. The decor was both gorgeous and timeless. Anna, the host, was incredibly thoughtful, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The house was spotless, and the location was ideal—quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be back!

One small suggestion: Adding curtains could provide a bit more privacy, especially in the evenings when it gets dark.

It's a self catering accommodation.

Geyser water temperature control is a bit tricky. Lots of water wastage to get hot water again in shower.

The house is very spacious, well furnished and has all the utensils/ equipment you would need for a comfortable stay.

We travelled during winter so the nights would get cold. No heater was available on the property, even upon request for one.

Loved the apartment its very well equipped and modern and location is close to the beach. It's absolutely gorgeous.

Beautifully decorated, clean, private, peaceful, safe get away cottage with a great elevated view. Anna was a great, responsive host with many good suggestions. The floor plan is one of the best we've ever seen. A full working kitchen with everything you need for cooking a complete meal. A nice big bed that we made softer by putting the duvet under us. The Tasty Table restaurant was wonderful!

The water temperature regulation in the shower was more than challenging. Windowing coverings in the lounge area would be helpful to keep the morning sun at bay. Having a real braai or full sized grill would be wonderful

The extra gas kettle incase of loadshedding. The magneto light came in handy during loadshedding. Good quality bedding. The place is super neat and clean. We loved the deck in the morning sunshine.
