Surf Trip Maldives

The location is great for surfers looking to be close to the surf break. It's great value for money when compared to the other resorts area if you are a solo traveler.

No lo encuentro barato, para lo que pagamos no es un gran hotel, no habíamos recogido las cosas que el recepcionista ya entró a ponerse a quitar sábanas sin apenas a ver recogido nuestras cosas.

Buena habitación, amplia, con armario y tocador. Puedes vaciar las maletas sin problemas. Cama cómoda y todo limpio

It was close to the beach and convenient

It was a tiny room, communal space wasn’t communal, weird smell and no outdoor light to the bedroom

The room location for great, super clean and the shower was excellent. Good sized room too! Hari our host was also super helpful from the minute we arrived.

-beautiful view of the beach and the water is very blue -friendly personnel allowed me to do an early check in! -good pricepoint -very central with very nice restaurants, bars and beach houses, surf points at walking distance. They have a lot of evening activities at the bars and restaurants -1 min from beach -super nice island with good vibes, must see island -You get what you pay for, don't expect too much. It is just basic.

-I do not think they can really help it because it seems from the neighbours but there was a lot of junk outside my window not dirty or not smelly just messy

Exceptional value for money. The rooms are big, the showers are hot, there’s a shared fridge and kitchen and you’re only steps away from the beach. Hari the hotel manager is great! He’s always happy to have a chat and answer any questions. We also got sick while we were there and Hari brought us bottled water and helped to organise food delivery. We’re looking forward to staying again!

it had a kitchen, which is rare

worst experience in 5 islands & 5 weeks Maldives. unfortunately not happy with our stay and Hari. from the moment we arrived by ferry to the moment we left, we felt uncomfortable. 1) the owner said they would pick us up because its a 15-20min walk to the hotel but then they wouldnt take us because they were waiting for someone else lol 2) the guesthouse had 0 service (no cleaning -which is fine for us- but also no fresh towels for 10 days, no toilet paper etc.) 3) the room was very dark, because our windows were in the reception/generel area and if we opened the curtains everyone could see inside the room + there was mold everywhere & the walls were crumbling down because of it / dirt everywhere 4) we told them we will work on our laptops there, they said they have great wifi (starlink) but for the most part I couldnt even connect to it because „there are too many people connected right now“ ?!? no matter at what time 5) we booked this place for the kitchen so we could cook & Hari constantly watched what we were doing and corrected every move „you have to put it here, use this, not turn this on“ etc, overall you just always felt watched by him (inside + outside of the room) and it also felt like he didnt like us cooking because he had to wipe the stove after (not sure why tho because he was spending 9 hrs / day on his phone watching videos). in general the kitchen was very run down: pan/pot very old/dirty, toaster broke, kitchen towel was moldy & black, stove ran out of gas etc. 6) you could also hear every single word someone else was talking in their room or in the general area 7) and to top it all off: we paid 50 MVR for a drop off at the ferry on our last day at 7am & they just didnt come at all and we had to walk there super stressed and almost missed the ferry, of course didnt get the money back & were laughed at „its so busy, other people going too“ ?!?!

We didn't liked the rooms as it was not in the location that was mentioned online when I booked. The paint in the room is falling no toiletries other than tissue and half bottle of what looks like an expired lotion. A smelly kitchen with dirty mugs and kettle. We were picked up by literally a pickup truck that was unexpected. The only positive is Hari.

Hari is the best host ever!! He gave me many advices from the island.

Close to the beach

I would not recommend this guesthouse.Walls were mouldy and the room wasn’t in a good condition.I even left after one day since I felt very uncomfortable.Also the receptionist wasn’t really friendly.

The host Hari is a amazing person and help us with everything that we need (even carrying our surfboards), very well located next to cokes surf break

Stanza carina, un po' angusta rispetto al prezzo e ad altre strutture che ho visto, ma non manca dell' essenziale.

Il ragazzo che gestisce la struttura (non è il proprietario) é stato invadente e abusante. Mi guardava si avvicinava e mi ha toccato con scuse ridicole tipo come mai sei bagnata qui (seno post mare). Tutto questo nonostante dicessi di smetterla ovviamente. Non lo consiglio a donne sole.

Amazing location not far from bikini Beach and plenty of restaurants and cafes. The host is incredibly friendly and will send you menus and activities to do when you check in, and is a wealth of knowledge if there's anything you need. Big bottles of drinking water in reception and I think a kitchen to use but we didn't use it. Drying racks outside. Room is comfortable enough for the price paid-truly can't beat the cost in this location. Super low key vibes all round

Die Lage ist gut. Nicht ganz direkt am Meer, aber nur wenige Minuten.

Das war bisher meine einzige Unterkunft auf den Malediven, wo ich keinen Shuttle Service bekommen habe. Ich musste in der Mittagshitze 1,5km mit Koffer zum Hafen laufen. Der Gastgeber hat weder auf Nachrichten geantwortet noch war er vor Ort anzutreffen am Abreisetag.

I rarely write reviews, but this stay truly stood out. What made the biggest difference was Hari always present, incredibly kind, and genuinely caring. He made everything feel easy and taken care of without ever being intrusive. The place itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, but it was his energy and support that made this experience special. I ended up extending my stay more than once which says everything. Thank you for making this feel like more than just a stay.

For me the highest point was how Hari took care of our team, this was the first time we were in the island and he handed us all the information and contacts that we need it for surfing and eating or anything else, even took care of our clothes to get washed. This guy is really amazing person., thanks for everything!

I had such a wonderful stay at Trip Maldives. Everything was very clean, well organized, and made me feel comfortable from the beginning. Hari truly made all the difference always friendly, supportive, and genuinely caring. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Из минусов номера оказался слишком маленький не 20 квадратных метров как заявлено было в описании и требует косметического ремонта

La chambre est bien équipée et confortable! L’établissement est très proche de la plage. Et le personnel est très sympa. Hari nous a beaucoup aidé pour les transports entre les îles. Merci encore !

Hari was very helpful with writing to me in advance of my arrival to let me know that Ramadan will impact boat schedules and greeted me at the port. He provided lots of tour information, as well as restaurant menu options. The guesthouse is 1 block from the beach. No shoes required. Room was clean and spacious. I liked that the guesthouse had a small kitchen to prepare food and shared refrigerator, as well as water refills.

The small garden could be nice if better equiped. Indeed, not enough table and chairs for all customers. And the breakfast is every day the same and not so tasty, always eggs and sausages and same fruit. No mango neither pineaple, it is a pity as we can see plenty in all food shops !

Clean and spacious room in a nice location. Breakfast was good and the air conditioning worked really well. They also provided information about available excursions, and it was very easy to join the trips through them. Special thanks to Hari, who was super helpful and friendly! I really enjoyed my stay!

La camera era pulita, comoda e spaziosa. Ottima qualità prezzo. Posizione ottima! Hari, una persona gentile che ci tiene tantissimo ai suoi ospiti, mi ha dato un sacco di informazioni per visitare al meglio l'isola!

Excellent location, 75 metres from the beach. The room was clean, spacious and the aircon was silent and efficient. Loved to stay here 7 nights.

Hari, el encargado del alojamiento se preocupo desde el momento en el que llegue a la isla de que todo fuera perfecto, me enseño la Sunset Beach, ceno con migo la primera noche y me ayudo a encontrar contactos para ir a pescar, snorkel, surf, etc... El sitio esta bien relación calidad precio pero Hari hace que te sientas como en casa con sus ganas de ayudar y hacer su trabajo bien.

They wanted to give me room away from common area. Not what I signed up for as single women travrlling. So ask for room close to other rooms (also closer to beach). I could change for 2 nights. If they had let me know on forehand I could have explaned the situation and decide if I would agree. But eventually it worked out! Had a good time! The rooms are very good even the one further away....

Tutto perfetto, sarebbe bello avere una zona comune piu atrezzata, magari un frogo dove poter acquistare da bere in modo da conoscere goi altri viaggiatori.

Nuestra experiencia con Surf Trip fue positiva. El alojamiento cumplió perfectamente con lo que buscábamos: cómodo, limpio y con una muy buena relación calidad-precio. Está bien ubicado, ideal para moverse con facilidad y disfrutar del ambiente local, especialmente si vas con ganas de surfear o explorar la zona. Queremos agradecer especialmente a Hari, quien fue de gran ayuda durante toda nuestra estancia. Siempre estuvo disponible para resolver nuestras dudas, darnos recomendaciones útiles y asegurarse de que todo estuviera en orden. Su atención fue cercana, amable y realmente marcó la diferencia en nuestro viaje. The room is basic but has anything you need, is clean and literally 30m away from the beach. Hari is just the best person you can find: kind, cheerful, always ready to help and absolutely adorable. He was big plus for our stay, and we’d consider to go back if he’s still there!

Some guests were smoking inside the property, definitely not nice if you’re eating or as first thing when you wake up in the morning. This has nothing to do with the property, just disrespectfulness of some people
