Reindeer Riverfront Aurora lodge

Gärna ett räcke vid trappan till trädäcket, min far 90 år har inte bästa balansen så den var lite läskig för honom, annars kanonfint!

Beautiful little cabin in a gorgeous setting, in a residential neighborhood. The place was super clean and beautifully decorated. We especially appreciated being able to gaze at the sky from the bed. Great location close to Kiruna and the Ice Hotel. Also lovely to meet Eduardo who took the time to chat with us and offered to use the sauna. Thank you !

As a family of 4, we didn’t have space to put our clothes. I understand solutions are being considered. It was a minor thing though, everything else was wonderful.

Everything was just perfect! Location is beautiful and quite, 10 min drivning from airport. House is cosy and comfortable, there you can find everything you need. As well very helpful and friendly host. Definitely will return and highly recommend.

The house was located at beautiful location. Our son always played at the pond close by the house. The host was always so helpful for us. We defenitely come back!

It’s like my dream house. Although expensive, if you have the money then it’s worth it. I’d say it’s perfect for a family. Everything is the same as the pictures

It would be nice to get a small closet for clothes and also oven, dishwasher and washing machine. There would be space for those in the cottage.

Really great view from the cabin through huge windows. The bathroom and shower were also great. I was already thinking this was the perfect design to build my own guest cabin one day.

Of course the view from the full-wall windows was stunning. As we came here to relax, we took an entertainment in watching dog sledges or (less pleasant) snowmobiles that were passing by on the frozen river. You can see Aurora easily from this location, given that it’s a good day activity. We’ve had a weak week, buy just during the last night, we could see it from the house. 🌌 We had a great communication with the host, and she even brought us some extra milk which we forgot to buy in the shop. We love to have a kitchen available during our stays. Grocery shop is in the village nearby which you can access by bus, although don’t be late! They are really on time 😀

Just one thing really, the house is advertised for up to 4 people. We were 2 and we already struggled with were to put our clothes. There is no wardrobe or shelves where you could unpack the suitcase to. For two people, we’ve just occupied the second bed upstairs as our “closet”.

We just didn't want to leave! location is perfect, walking distance form the Ice Hotel (30 minutes on the lake) and close to town (15 min from Kiruna). Jenny and Marc were very welcoming and super friendly which made our stay even nicer. Chalet was as expected from the photos, beautiful decor and great comfort. Top to bottom windows made it lovely to watch the beautiful snowy views as well as northern lights from the comfortable beds! we highly recommend to have dinner prepared by Jenny, great cook! Couldn't have expected any better. Thank you for such an unforgettable stay.

Taxis are super expensive so plan to have groceries with you and enjoy staying around the chalet and doing the activities walking distance.

Un logement magnifique avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le lac et les aurores boréales et ce depuis tout le logement et même notre lit!!!! Une hôte synthétique et disponible en cas de besoin. Grace à elle nous avons pu voir des aurores boréales. À faire absolument avec un emplacement idéal proche hôtel de glace et village Sami accessible à pied en marchant sur le lac gelé.

Lodge molto confortevole, cosy e curato. Dotato di tutto il necessario. Posizione tranquilla e ottima per ammirare l'Aurora Boreale. Jenny e Marc sono stati gentilissimi e disponibili. La prima sera abbiamo cenato usufruendo del pacchetto offerto dai proprietari e la cena a base di renna era ottima. Un luogo incantato che speriamo di rivedere anche in estate!

This place was absolutely amazing! We had a wonderful experience there. Sadly we just booked it for one night. We would have loved to stay longer. The location is perfect with an amazing view of the lake. We came during winter and we were blessed with an amazing aurora that we could even see from inside the cabin. The host is super nice and helpful and they have the cutest dog! - thank you so much for everything! I would definitely recommend this place!

Everything, but the owners are exceptional!!! The cabin is amazing, warm, cozy, and just the right soze for 4 people. We were sorry that we had to leave!!! Mark and Jenny, thank you for the great experience s2!

We stayed for 4 nights. The lodge is very cozy and well equipped. Especially in winter it is the perfect location to come home to after an outdoor adventure. We really enjoyed our stay. Also the hosts are very nice and attentive with any question.

Everything was absolutely perfect. This cabin is the perfect location to look at the northern lights, that were just in front of us and clearly noticeable from inside. So we were able to look at the amazing natural event while cozy inside. And the host was great and very helpful. Absolutely recommended.

It was amazing - super view, very nice area directly at the lake, so cozy to really relax and enjoy (even with 5 person in the lodge), super equipped and northern lights view from the bed. Very nice host who made our stay an unforgetable event - THANK YOU!

Wonderful experience, the place is amazing and the owners are lovely. We decided to enjoy also their cooked food and it was delicious. Smooth check in and out, I would highly recommend to anyone going around there!

The cabin was modern and very cozy. We had a beautiful view and could do little nature walks around the property and area. Really appreciated the extra mile our host went to! We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights during our stay.

Wonderful lodge in a quiet area, ideal for 2 persons. Near Kiruna airport and the Icehotel. Super friendly hosts! We had a wonderful holiday in Lapland!

We had an amazing stay at Reindeer River Lights Lodge! The home is so cozy and charming. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive and willing to provide recommendations. We also cooked some of our own meals and the kitchen was very well stocked. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone making a trip to Kiruna!

The hosts were super nice and the cabin was well appointed. Surroundings were peaceful and the cabin is not far from Kiruna.

Fin utsikt och fin stuga. Det finns det mesta man behöver. Bra kommunikation med värden. Söta frigående hönor på gården.

Ett stort minus var osköna sängar, speciellt på loftet som bara hade stela resårmadrasser. Därför sov vi inte bra och det sänker betyget rejält.

Die Lage ist ruhig. Die Lodge ist sehr gemütlich mit einer schönen Holzterasse umgeben. Manchmal kam der Hahn mit den Hennen vorbei, das fanden wir toll. Sollte etwas nicht in Ordnung sein, dann wende dich an Marc. Ganz egal was es ist. Der Gast soll sich wohl fühlen. Die Lichtschalter sind alles Dimmer, umso länger du drückst umso heller wird es.

Der Kühlschrank war für uns zu klein. Gewisses kann noch verbessert werden, darüber habe ich mit Marc gesprochen. Er ist sehr dankbar für Anregungen und sehr hilfsbereit. Es lässt sich nur 1 kleines Fenster ganz öffnen, lass dir es zeigen wie es geht. Ein Vordach fehlt, kann ja noch kommen. :-)

Leuke houten cottage op 10 - 15 minuten rijden van Kiruna. Vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren. Leuke tussenstop met een paar interessante activiteiten in de omgeving zoals een bezoek aan de ijzererts mijn.

Het is wat krap voor 4 personen als je veel binnen bent, en helaas waren er muggen buiten.

his was a place we stayed for one night while on the road. I believe it would be an amazing house in winter for watching the northern lights or the stars—the design allows you to lie in bed and see the aurora from inside the house. Unfortunately, we visited in summer, so we couldn’t experience that. There’s a reindeer river nearby, along with some chickens and a dog, giving it a charming countryside feel. The host was very kind and made sure to check if we needed anything.

For us, the main issue in this season was the number of mosquitoes—every time we opened the door, several would fly in. This wasn’t a problem with the house itself, just the time of year. Also, the space is quite compact. Since most of our other accommodations on this trip were more spacious, this 30-square-meter house felt a bit tight.The lighting inside the house was quite dim—perhaps intentionally designed for viewing the northern lights—but the bathroom was really too dark.

Well appointed tiny home in a great location close to tourist activities and not too far from the city center. Perfect home base for exploring the area. Great communication with hosts, who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

During the summer months when there is no snow and 24 hours of sunlight, everyone in the area undertakes their construction projects and preparations for the next winter, but this was only a minor inconvenience.

Wonderful place for some lazy days. The cabin is awesome and close to lake with snowmobiles passing by. Thats so cool. Close to icehotel and kiruna city for shopping. Thanks for a couple of lovely days up here.

Wish we had more nights here! The lodge B was modern, clean and comfortable. The location was great with many windows that were ideal for viewing the northern lights. The shades were helpful for the morning. The owners were accessible and the communication with them was easy. I would highly recommend this place!

We didn't realize the light switches were all dimmers. I would suggest mentioning that to guests ahead of time so we don't think it's broken. The neighbor also kept their back porch light on all night...still saw the aurora.

Amazing place, comfortable and cozy, great design.. With view over a frozen river we could watch dog sleds, snow mobiles and even reindeers passing. Perfect spot to visit Jukkasjärvi and also to watch the northern lights!

We absolutely loved everything about this cabin. It is located next to a frozen lake with easy access for walking and wild rain deer watching. The owner is very responsive, incredibly helpful and discrete. The decoration and the ambient is so cosy and warm. But the main highlight are of course the windows facing north where you can watch aurora directly from your bad. Incredible and unforgettable.

The property is easy to find and perfectly located at the lake that leads to Jukkasjärvi. We took a 30 min walk to the ice hotel. The house is like a tiny house but with a very spacious bathroom. All in all it looked really high-grade.

The lodge is very nice but nothing work! If you switch on hair-dryer or kettle electricity went out. The shower was warm for 2-3 people but the other two had a cold shower! No space for luggage, you have to keep them in living room! Not enough light in bathroom!!

The cottage is very nice and cozy and the staff is very very helpful! We also have a good dinner served in our room. The location is amazing to see not only the northern lights but also the “sunrise lights”!!

Cosy cabin in a beautiful location, very picturesque and good facilities. Perfectly clean and comfortable beds. We saw wild reindeer and the northern lights from the window! Super cute interior with just the right mix of comfortable seating, kitchen facilities and space. The host are incredibly helpful; they helped us book excursions (which were brilliant) and were very quick to communicate whenever we had questions.

Property was precisely as described, location was remote but still close enough to walk wherever needed, also within range for tours to pick up at accommodation.

Property is well designed, has a homely feel and a modern cabin look. Marc (host) was also exceptional, very attentive and always willing to help and advise, made it feel like staying around a friends house, even before arriving as he answered every question in contact property.
