It was quite windy at night and I was a bit concerned that a tree branch would fall and hit my car. Maybe covered or shaded parking would’ve eased my concern.

The parking area was under construction, or being renovated, so it did create the wrong impression initially. The initial pics confused us with a different room, so we were a bit confused. The owners were friendly and addressed our issues with maturity. Lively stay.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026At that price, I expected basic accommodation. But it was very clean, quiet and comfortable. I was not disappointed. Tinyiko was very helpful and friendly. I had all my meals away, so I cannot say anything about cooking facilities and equipment.
I had to duck in the shower as there is full view into the shower through the window that faces the garden ;-) No other issues.

I gave feedback regarding rail hang wet underwear. They should have an option of cleaning service, even if they charge extra for it. The host offered to have our room serviced during our stay. My daughter and I felt very welcome and safe

Tinyiko has been a great host anything you ask he's there to answer and he feels like family I don't even feel like I'm not home I've been using this place for the past 2 months now and I must say I love every minute of it

Just an idea - the empty space opposite the toilet area is excellent for storing cases - it could be enhanced with a couple of shelves at the bottom end of the space or just provision of a couple of those foldy up things for putting suitcases on.
Maybe time for the shower and toilet area to have an upgrade - but for the price we paid it was more than acceptable. Slight "musty" smell from older furniture - but again for the price we paid the room was more than acceptable.

Our host was truly exceptional , warm, super nice, and always willing to help. Communication was clear and consistent, which made everything smooth.

I was especially excited to see the new outdoor kitchen they’ve added—it looked perfect for a relaxed meal outdoors, though I sadly couldn’t use it since I had to leave early for work. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, making me feel right at home. The place itself was fresh, clean, and well-maintained. The highlight of my stay was definitely the peaceful sound of birds singing all around, creating a calm and serene atmosphere. I’d love to come back and enjoy the outdoor kitchen next time! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place around the area, great value for money

Very little Toiletpapier, yard was messy, parking in the middle of a lot of building material. Struggle to sleep with sensor lights going on and off the entire night with only see through curtains in half of the unit.

I booked 2 nights and I left after the first night. I could not handle the smell of whatever that was being cooked or what ever potion was being made all day and night it gave me headaches the smell. the whole cottage smelled like whatever they were doing in the house and I could not take it so I left.
