El baño solo tenía una pastillas de jabón en el lavabo no había nada en la ducha, el desayuno muy flojo, no quise el desayuno tradicional de Sri Lanka y me pusieron dos tostadas de pan Bimbo con mermelada y mantequilla, al pedir fruta me dijeron que solo tenían sandía, mi sorpresa al pagar la cuenta que me cobraban 3 $por un trozo de sandía que además no me avisaron que era un extra

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026My partner and I had such a beautiful and enjoyable stqy on our first night in Sri Lanka, that we ended up booking again for our final night. The staff are so kind and go above and beyond, and are just lovely people - they made our stay so special. The food was also INCREDIBLE and some of the best curries we had on the whole trip! Beautiful and quiet location, close to the airport but you feel in a tropical paradise. We can’t recommend this place enough, it’s been amazing!!! 100/10 definitely worth a visit! Staff are incredible!!! Very attentive, friendly and helpful. Thank you for having us (twice)!

Quería pasar mi última tarde en Sri Lanka relajada antes de el vuelo de vuelta a casa, pero fue muy difícil debido a que había un grupo de unas 15 personas pasando el día allí (no se hospedaban). Me sorprendió, por la categoría del hospedaje, que no había ni gel ni champú.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Het is dicht bij het vliegveld, mooi terrein met nette kamers, heel fijn zwembad en rustig gelegen. Fijn dat je late check out kunt regelen, aangezien we pas om 22.00 uur vliegen. Erg vriendelijk personeel.
De douche was koud en het ligt overal te ver van af, als je wat wilt moet je altijd een taxi regelen of naar de bushalte 10 min verder op. Maar voor een laatste nacht bij het vliegveld ideaal.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Most beautiful airport hotel ever! Very elegant architecture and design. Stayed there three nights, more than most guests, I assume. Very helpful staff. Quiet in spite of vicinity to airport as not in the usual flight paths. Honest 10 minutes to airport, 1 hour to Colombo downtown using the motorway (only cars no tuktuk, 400 LKR toll).
At checkout didn’t get an invoice. Only “back-of-an-envelope” calculation of the amount- which was without fault. Insisting didn’t help, I still wait for the bill. Funny.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Wir haben dieses Hotel kurzfristig gebucht um die Zeit bis zu unserem Abflug am Abend zu überbrücken und haben bedauert nicht länger bleiben zu können. Das Zimmer war groß mit einem bequemen großen Bett, schickes Bad und kleine Sitzecke vor dem Zimmer mit Blick in den Garten. In der Mitte des Hotels liegt der riesige tolle Pool und besonders gut gefallen hat uns das Aufenthaltszimmer mit allerlei Kunstgegenständen und Bildbänden. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich.

You stay in the middle of the jungle - unfortunately this meant we had to kill a cockroach in both rooms we were staying in. The room was very clean however. No shampoo and toiletries provided, as other travelers said, this is a bit of a nuisance.

The villa is beautiful, full of attention to detail and surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere, but what truly makes the difference is the warmth of the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, always with a genuine smile. A special thanks to Akila and Ashan, whose care, kindness and attention made my stay even more special. They make you feel not like a guest, but truly welcome. From today, this will definitely be my favorite place every time I come back to Sri Lanka.

I originally booked the villa because of an early morning flight, but I’m so glad I stayed more than one night. The villa itself is stunning, and the staff who look after it were incredibly kind and attentive. The meals they prepared for lunch and dinner were delicious — made with fresh ingredients straight from the garden right on the property. If I ever return to the area, this place will absolutely be on my list again.

The surroundings were beautifully green and very quiet, which made it really relaxing. I honestly wish we could have stayed longer, but we had an early morning flight to catch. Our taxi arrived right on time at 4:30 a.m., and the airport is only about a 10-minute drive away, which made everything very convenient. Overall, it was a lovely and comfortable stay.
The only small downside was that the room didn’t have toiletries, which would have been nice to have.

Villa trifft es auf den Punkt. Das ganze Team ist herzlich und außerordentlich zuvorkommend! Der Pool ist sehr sauber und wir haben ihn jeden Tag genossen. Spelletjes gedaan met personeel en er werden muziekinstrumenten aangesleept voor onze dochters om muziek te maken. Lekker zwembad. Prachtige sfeervolle woonkamer. Je kan nog even wandelen in de omgeving. Wij verbleven er een avond en moesten midden in de nacht naar het vliegveld.

It was 10 mins from the airport, and the hotel arranged a reasonably priced transfer for us. The pool is fabulous, too. The restaurant is excellent. Reviewed Mar 9, 2026Villa Blue Lotus was an oasis of calm after a long flight! They accommodated our 4am arrival and we were able to have breakfast at a time that suited us. It was a perfect stay for 2 nights as we adjusted, and a great starting point for getting across to Sigiriya. The rooms were lovely and the extensive grounds (and fish!) were a great discovery ground for our 2 year old. Thank you for a great stay!

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026Piccola oasi di pace in mezzo alla foresta, a 15 min scarsi dall aeroporto. Bellissima la piscina. Pulizia ottima. Abbiamo cenato con tipici piatti del posto. Colazione non inclusa, ma su richiesta preparano cosa si desidera. Ottima guest house di inizio e fine tour. Personale cortese. Splendida la veranda di ciascuna camera. Doccia vista giardino

Reviewed Mar 7, 2026Tout ! La tranquillité et la beauté des lieux, l'extrême gentillesse du personnel et la proximité avec l'aéroport. A noter que l'on peut dîner sur place, l'hôtel propose quelques plats Sri lankais. Je souhaitais dîner léger et le chef après un bref échange m'a cuisiné une très bonne salade de légumes locaux et j'ai pu me régaler d'un généreux pot de curd en dessert. Du sur mesure !
Le fait que je n'y ai dormi qu'une nuit ;-)
