Great Food, really tasty and affordable!

Bella struttura immersa nella natura. Cortile grandissimo in cui si può trascorrere del tempo in relax. È a due minuti dall’ingresso al parco nazionale e la mattina presto una jeep è venuta a prenderci per il safari. I proprietari gentilissimi, la signora ci ha preparato la nostra prima cena tipica dello Sri Lanka con piatti buonissimi e porzioni abbondanti. Davvero consigliato!

È il posto ideale per chi cerca un posto dove staccare completamente e immergersi nel cuore del parco di Wilpattu, dove vivere qualche giorno secondo i cicli della natura e apprezzare il clima familiare che si genera grazie all'accoglienza della padrona di casa e ai momenti di convivialità con gli altri ospiti.

está al lado de la entrada el parque, te ahorra madrugar tanto. El entorno es super inmersivo, oyes todos los animales. Las habitaciones son sencillas.

Nos encontramos con ranas y bastantes insectos, normal por la localización. Se escucha bastante la actividad del alojamiento. Esta lejos de restaurantes, pero sirven una cena cena buena a buen precio.

El alojamiento se encuentra a pocos metros de la entrada del parque Wilpattu, por lo que ubicación es perfecta. Zona muy tranquila. La habitación es tal cual se muestra en las fotos, buena relación calidad-precio. La propietaria ofrece cena, la cual es muy abundante con variedad de opciones a muy buen precio.

Si tuviera que decir algo sería que no cuenta con agua caliente, pero no la necesitamos puesto el tiempo caluroso del cual dispone la zona.

La struttura è pulita e accogliente, a pochi passi dall' entrata del parco. La proprietaria è gentile, disponibile e anche un' ottima cuoca!

Parfait pour faire un safari le lendemain matin, l'emplacement est idéal au porte du Park. Nous avons pu faire une machine à laver, ce qui fut très appréciable. Enfin nous y avons dîner le soir et le repas était parfait, très copieux plein de bonnes et belles choses sur la table, de la bonne cuisine Sri lankaise et tout fait maison par l'hôte..un régal. Et pour vraiment par cher. Je recommande.

Rustique mais pas cher et le repars de la proprio est très bon.

Habitación espaciosa, cama con mosquitera, todo estaba limpio. Súper cerca de la entrada del parque. Comida casera riquísima. La anfitriona Guita super amable. Contraté a través de ellos el safari y super bien también. Por la noche algunas ranas se cuelan en el baño :)

De prijskwaliteit verhouding is super. Je wordt warm onthaald en de gastvrouw kookt elke avond voor je als je dat wilt. Het eten is super lekker (ook vegetarisch is zelfs last minute geen probleem)! De bungalow licht pal naast de ingang van het nationaal park waardoor je ‘s ochtends snel daar kan zijn voor de Safari.

Houd er rekening mee dat het allemaal erg basic is. Er zitten veel open roosters in de kamer waardoor je altijd wat beestjes in de kamer hebt (vuurvliegjes, kakkerlakken, sprinkhaan). Dit is echter te verwachten omdat je je eenmaal zo goed als in het nationaal park begeeft!! De kamer had een goede klamboe waardoor je wel beestjes vrij kon slapen. Houd er wel rekening mee dat je contant moet betalen.

Geeta is a wonderful host, her and her son are very welcoming. The room was clean and lovely, only a few minutes walk from Wilpattu national park. Geeta cooked breakfasts and dinners for me, all delicious and for a great price. I recommend this place to everyone I know how is headed to this area.

La douche avait peu de pression et eau froide mais ca reste la norme ici, (surtout pour le prix) MAIS ceci ne doit pas être la raison pour ne pas venir, le reste est vraiment parfait, hôte très gentil, repas vraiment top, calme et à 2min de l'entrée du parc pour le Safari!!

The place is great! A few minutes walk away from two big lakes, one of which has crocodiles, amazing! Ghita, the owner, is very kind and cooks the tastiest food.

We stayed here for one night before our morning safari. The location is perfect, very close to the entrance. The place is clean, comfortable beds, there is hot water mosquito net and free drinking water. The walls are quite thin, so everyone will hear everything, which can be uncomfortable, but there was only one other person when we stayed there, so it was not a problem. The hosts were okay, but not that friendly, however we did not have a lot of interaction. We had dinner and breakfast here, which was good and plenty, but a bit pricey compared to Sri Lankan prices. They also arranged us a driver and the guide for our safari, however the driver was probably new, and did not know how to buy the entrance tickets, so we lost some time in the morning and the guide also did not put a lot of effort in finding animals, which was quite unfortunate…it’s important to arrive before dark, because there can be elephants in the area.

What a wonderful place to stay during a safari to Wilpattu! Gitta is an incredibly kind woman and an excellent cook. It is highly recommended to have dinner here – her meals are prepared with great care and are absolutely delicious. She keeps everything very clean and does everything she can to make her guests feel at home. You can truly feel that hospitality is her top priority. She also makes sure there is always something available to keep the mosquitoes away, which is very pleasant after a day out in nature. Absolutely recommended if you are going on safari to Wilpattu! 🌿🐘

Fantastische ligging net naast het nationaal park. Mooie ruime kamer met warme douche. De mevrouw die het runt is zeer attent en kookt lekker. Je kunt er safari boeken aan 24000 LkR Jeep+chauffeur

La ubicación, para ir a wilpattu es una pasada levantarte al lado no tiene precio, gran jardín con mucha fauna en los alrededores, la anfitriona un encanto aunque muy severa a la hora de salir del complejo por la noche, cosa comprensible, calidad precio inmejorable

Great place to stay close to the entrance of the park. The host was amazing and cooked us a really delicious dinner! We walked in the afternoon to the lake side where we spotted some crocodiles!

Tout, c'était plus que parfait. Un accueil très chaleureux, un emplacement exceptionnel, un repas proposé pour le soir, une hôtesse incroyablement gentille et attentionnée.

Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hat uns auf Wunsch ein köstliches Abendessen zubereitet, das zudem sehr günstig war. Auch die Möglichkeit, unsere Wäsche für wenig Geld waschen zu lassen, war sehr praktisch. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die ideale Lage – direkt am Eingang des Nationalparks. Es gibt wirklich nichts Negatives zu sagen – ein rundum empfehlenswerter Aufenthalt.

Gute Unterkunft für eine Nacht, um in den Nationalpark zu gehen. Es war sauber aber sehr simpel und in die Jahre gekommen. Aber für den Preis in Ordnung! Das essen der Besitzerin war extrem lecker! Sehr zu empfehlen.

L'extrême gentillesse et délicatesse de l'hôtesse. A attendu avec nous le chauffeur de safari arrivé en retard. Nous a bien renseigné pour les bus. Nous a cuisiné de très bons repas. Excellent emplacement.

Our stay in this guesthouse was simply lovely. Giida is a great, warm and friendly host - and a great cook! We had dinner twice and it was d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s! We got hot coffee (even at 5:30 in the morning) and water and enjoyed the hammocks and the garden. The facilities are simple and functional and overall the guesthouse offers great value for money. Don't hesitate and book your stay here - it's amazing.

There are many lodges around and near Willpatu National Park. This one is very close to the park entrance and is one of the best options to stay if you want to go on a safari. The room has the basics but let's not forget that you are essentially in the jungle. The room and bathroom were very clean. Our stay there was made very easy by Gida, the owner of the lodge. She is an amazing cook but also very good company and always willing to help as we faced some problems with the rented tuk-tuk. Thank you very much and sorry if we tired you a little

Excellent location, 150 meters from Wilpattu entrance. It's an extension of the Park. Very reasonable price. Mrs Geeta, who owns the place, is friendly. She served meals and tea / coffees.Some advance notice was required. She arranged the very good four-wheeler and driver. The Driver had good knowledge of birds, exceptionally. We saw Leapord, two bears, other expected animals and a crested eagle bathing. No time pressures. Very good experience, at a reasonable price.

Mrs Geeta travels between Colombo and Wilpattu. It's good to know if she is at Wilpattu.

Right next door to the park gate, lovely lady that owns it. It pretty basic but pretty cheap at the same time. I would stay again for sure

Location- right next to the Wilpathu Park Gave us coffee before starting the safari.

Price- I received a good price via booking.com. However, the owner is not happy with this price we were paying. She gave towels for us, but kept telling that towels were not usually available for this price. (Despite calling beforehand and confirming the availability of this facility). She also said, that they need to pay Booking.com a %. ( well she is enabling the app service and it is not our fault) Their check in and check out time are incorrect in the app. We returned from half day tour at 10 40 am. She said check out at 10.30. How can someone check out at this time, as everyone is staying in Bungalow for the safari and returns late morning. I felt discriminated as a local tourist as her behaviour was good with foreigners.

We enjoyed our stay (2 nights) probably one of the closest ones from the national park entrance. There are no restaurants around, but the owner will give you contact details if you want to order in. We went out both night around 15 min drive.
