Really good location, a short walk to Ubud Center. Room was well maintained and clean. Everyone was really helpful and also arranged private cars for our day trips.

Lots of stairs and a very steep slope to get to the house.

Struttura immersa nel verde, ma al centro di Ubud dove hai tutto ciò che desideri a pochi passi. La stanza è grande, confortevole e molto pulita oltretutto nuova. Ho avuto modo di soggiornare in due stanze diverse, con gli stessi altissimi standard, con vista direttamente nel verde. Gli host sempre presenti e disponibili pronti a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Colazione ottima preparata e portata direttamente in camera all’orario richiesto. Il mio soggiorno qui è stato indimenticabile.

Bellissima struttura in un oasi di pace a due minuti a piedi dal centro, arredata con gusto, nuova e molto pulita, mi sono sentita molto a mio agio durante il mio soggiorno. Widya Putu Merry e Rama sempre disponibili, soddisfano ogni richiesta. Ho organizzato anche dei tour con loro che mi sono piaciuti tanto. Una delle migliori strutture ad Ubud. Ci vedremo presto.

Tutto, Sempre una conferma, posto incantevole nella natura, a due passi dal centro, stanze nuove, pulite, curate nei minimi dettagli. Host sempre presenti è disponibili, ho prolungato il soggiorno qui per la sensazione di familiarità che mi ha trasmesso. Il mio posto del cuore ad Ubud.

We recently spent 4 nights here. The property is beautiful - set back off the road amidst palms and banana trees with a serene courtyard. While this is a homestay and part of the family compound, it is set up so it is separate, and it felt very private. It is a wonderful respite from the busy streets of Ubud. Our room had a big porch looking out over the trees. The room itself was very clean and comfortable with beautiful carved doors and carved wooden furniture. The description says it is a full bed but it is actually a king size bed. Meri was great to communicate with before the booking. We took him up on his Unesco tour. That was a highlight of our trip. He took us on a little tour of his family compound and then to several cultural sites. We learned so much about Bali just from our car ride with him. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing Bali's culture. We had breakfast at the room every day. We had fresh juice, fruit, toast, eggs, fried noodles, fried rice, and banana/pineapple pancakes. Everything was delicious, and it was so nice to eat out on the porch amidst all the plants. The location is also very central and close to many great restaurants and coffee shops. We also booked our return trip to the airport through the homestay. This was seamless, and they ensured that we arrived within plenty of time for our flight. I would highly recommend for anyone traveling to Ubud!

This was not an issue for us but others should be aware that this property requires navigating a long sloped path (paved and well lit with a steps option) as well as 2 sets of stairs to get to the room.

Stanza ampia, pulita, con tutti i comfort (antizanzare e phon compresi), frigo, cucina, distributore acqua. Anche il bagno è molto bello e accessoriato. Immersa nella vegetazione, molto tranquilla. Posizione comodissima, vicina al centro. I proprietari sono gentilissimi, accoglienti e super disponibili. Ci hanno aiutato quando siamo stati difficoltà con i cambiavalute locali.

Il viottolo per arrivare è in pendenza, ma vale la pena e siamo comunque stati aiutati con le valigie dai gentilissimi proprietari.

Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Insbesondere der Vater des Besitzers war ein Traum! Wir hatten tolle Gespräche, eine Tagestour durch Bali und viele hilfreiche Tipps bekommen. Das Frühstück war super lecker und alles verlief problemlos.

Durch die tolle Aussicht ins Grüne ( dadurch super ruhiger Rückzugsort) gibt es einige Moskitos. Daher Mückenspray mitnehmen.

This is my second time staying at Widya Luxury House and it was just as wonderful as the first time. It is incredibly central, yet quiet as it is away from the street and backs onto lots of greenery. It is very clean, comfortable, and spacious. Meri and Putu are lovely and they go above and beyond to ensure your stay is exceptional. Thank you for having me again at your beautiful accommodation. 通りからガタガタの細道を下った先にエントランスがあります。重いスーツケースを転がすと、車輪の破損が心配です。細道を下まで行かず、途中から部屋へアクセスできるのですが、表示がなき、わかりづらいです。 エントランスから部屋まで、細い階段を登る必要があり、辛かったです。 連泊するなら、セキュリティBOXが必要です。

I had a wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with my experience. The place had an amazing atmosphere, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. A special thank you to Widya and Marib, who were incredibly helpful, supportive, and genuinely kind throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was comfortable and enjoyable. What stood out the most was how safe, welcomed, and comfortable I felt from the moment I arrived. Their hospitality and positive energy truly made a difference. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience with wonderful people.

Beautiful, well maintained quiet place. Patio right in the jungle. Exceptionally welcoming and helpful service. I had the opportunity to meet several members of the family. Putu went out of her way to make my stay comfortable.

This homestay was everything that we could have asked for and more for the two nights we stayed. From the convenience of Meri picking us up early in the morning from the airport AND dropping us off at our next hotel afterwards (including two stops at great sites while in transit!), to the delicious breakfasts every morning (believe all the other reviews about the banana pancakes), and the warmth and hospitality from the whole family is reflected in every interaction we had as well as the the beautiful home itself. The room was extremely clean, the bed and pillows comfortable, and a good amount of space to rummage through luggage. The water pressure in the bathroom was great and they also provided a water dispenser as a tap alternative. The location of the Widya House was also great - walkable to all the main attractions in Ubud center and some great warungs a few steps up and down the street, but not close enough to busy streets to have constant traffic noise.

It's honestly much more difficult to think of things that we didn't like during our stay. I had some reservations about bugs getting inside since the sliding doors were of a hanging design and did not perfectly seal with the adjacent windows, but we made sure to draw the curtain and I didn't notice anything during our stay. The only amenity downside is perhaps not having an indoor common space to spend time together; we were a group of three in two separate rooms split between upstairs and downstairs. The upstairs room did have a little sitting area, but perhaps not fully sufficient for an evening congregating area, especially if traveling with a larger group. If you don't fear mosquitoes, there is a wonderful little courtyard with string lights though!

I loved the location — tucked away from the busy center while still being within walking distance of great coffee shops and restaurants. The bed was firm yet very comfortable, making for a good night’s sleep.

I think the property could benefit from purchasing additional sheets and pillows so they don’t become overused. Additionally, the bathroom had an unpleasant smell that was difficult to ignore.

Merry and his family are really kind, and the room is surrounded by trees, which is amazing. He also helped us book some activities in Ubud, and we really enjoyed them.

The door is a little bit hard to close, but it is fine for us.

I was truly very happy with my stay here. The property has easy access to the main road, just a short 3–4 minute walk away. Despite its central location, it is also very peaceful and relaxing. The room had a wonderful view, and you could hear the sounds of birds all around. It made you feel completely immersed in a calm, natural, and peaceful environment. The place was spotlessly clean, and the owners were incredibly kind and attentive. They did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied. I also joined a one-day tour with the owner, and we explored the northern part of Bali. We visited temples and local villages, and it was an amazing experience. He showed me some truly beautiful places—it was an unforgettable journey. I would like to sincerely thank them for everything. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Central location, walking distance to the Main Street, clean, friendly owners and value for money

For breakfast I was asked what I would like?They accomodated me with fresh, local, tropical fruits and some natural yoghurt. ( That's what I wanted.) They provided coffee and it was fantastic having a water machine to drink fresh or make a warm drink whenever I felt like it. My room was cleaned daily and the owners and their entire family went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing. The aircon worked perfectly and the room was cool. The family are just so lovely! All happy to chat and smile. I was not bothered and am thankful to have scored a lovely family homestay. It was only a short walk to the main village and activities. My room had a balcony that was covered with lush palms and it was very relaxing lying in bed with such a pretty view. The environment was quiet and peaceful. When I needed transport or help there was always someone avaliable. I would return , as my week was very comfortable! Beautiful family.

Mery and his family are the BEST! So kind and helpful, the room is so luxurious, the location is superb, so close to all the cafes and restaurants but tucked away in its own jungle hideaway, quiet and peaceful at night for sleeping. Will definitely be back! :)

Everything was perfect!

Mery was very knowledgeable and helpful, taking us to see places and people in Bali that we would not have known about otherwise. After a visit to a local priest there were some medicines needing preparation over the next few days and his mother and sister were so kind to prepare this. The room was lovely, spacious and clean and set in a stunning tropical setting.

I liked everything

I almost don’t want to leave, the host Meri is so kind and generous. With just a small problem in the balcony’s ceiling, he gave me a free trip to my next destination, somewhere in Denparsa for the compensation. He did everything I asked, is willing to adjust everything to make me happy and comfortable. Outside of the room is the woods and banana trees, and some animals would come for food, Meri told me they are civets, the famous civets! Though I didn’t really see them(only hear them), Meri showed me some pictures he took and told me they have two kinds with different colors. I also feel the efforts he wants to protect the little animals and the environment around the house. Meri introduced his family members to me, everyone of them serves me and treat me kindly. Though I only stayed there for two days, I was in love with this kind family and Balinese!

一切都很棒，跟自然裡的建築物，服務人員親切友善，早餐美味。

不會不滿意，但可以分享一下感受得到。峇里島的建築物隔音都不會太好，可以聽到屋外鄰居聊天聲音，我個人可以接受。另外陽台很美很想開窗睡覺但當地不習慣留設紗窗，在蚊蟲咬跟自然空氣間只能選擇吹空調。飯店位置比較隱秘要經過一條小徑，晚上比較黑。

The location is just five minutes walk from the main road.

The small alleyway leading to the entrance is a bit low on kerb appeal and the initial approach is unlit at night but closer to the property, they had installed atmospheric ambience lighting. The slope down to the property is quite a steep gradient.

We absolutely loved our stay here and we cannot recommend it enough! The house itself is lovely and it has everything you need. The family who run this are so nice and the breakfast every morning is delicious. They are super easy to communicate with, the location is awesome and it's nice and quiet but you can access everything in Ubud within walking distance. If we come back to Ubud we would definitely stay here again.

Die Lage, zentral aber ruhig! Zimmer war sauber. Das Bad war gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieter freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Es gab einen Wasserspender mit kalten und heißem Wasser! Das Frühstück war gut.

Auf der Terrasse konnte man nicht lange sitzen, da Mücken kamen. Etwas hellhörig wenn in der Wohnung über uns jemand da war. Lag aber auch an den Gästen… Da zeitgleich im oberen Geschoss auch renoviert wurde, hat es im Bad nach Kleber/Farbe gerochen. Aber das wurde geklärt.

Nos gustó mucho la habitación con la cama muy cómoda, la decoración artesanal y el baño muy amplio, la vegetación con palmeras y plantas hermosas, la atención primer nivel, el desayuno y la ubicación a pocas cuadras del centro. Pero por sobre todas las cosas destacar la cordialidad y amabilidad. Muchas gracias! Nos gustó mucho conocerlos , conocer la ciudad y su cultura. 🙏

I liked the room and the beautiful breakfast. Above all I treasure the interaction with the family who run the place. Meri was helpful and well organised, Putu and her mum were sweet and friendly. I had some lovely conversations with Putu. A highlight was being invited to participate in ceremony for 3 month baby. Very special to witness- and generous Babi guling n chicken

I found the long steep path to my room challenging

We stayed at different hotels in Indonesia and this is the best one. They thought of every little details to make your stay comfortable. Putu, from the staff, is very nice and helpful. She brought us very good breakfast every morning. The hotel is in a quite small street so you can't hear the traffic noise, only the birds singing. The room and bathroom are very big and clean. There's everything you need. I totally recommend this hotel. You won't be disappointed.

We found it a little hard to find down a lane way but once there the bed was so comfortable, the daughter met us and explained everything to us. Connected us to wifi and let me tell you the breakfast is delicious, which is served on the deck. You feel your like in a tree house surrounded by green vegetation. It was so relaxing and felt at home. Only thing is you need to climb stairs if your in the top villa like we were, not too difficult to do. We are in our 60's Overall 10/10.

The owner and family were very friendly and warm. Breakfast was good and prepared fresh each day. The shower was excellent, probably the best I have had in my whole trip. The room was cleaned well each day. The garden is beautiful. I hired the owner for a full day tour which was enjoyable and was very good company. Do remember to check about additional fees as the price did not include admissions to the various temples and attractions. Also there is no need to buy a sarong for any of the temples. They provide free ones.

Beautifully designed property in a central location. Everything is very new, clean & tastefully designed. Love how quiet it is even though it's in the center - there is almost no traffic noise from the streets. The garden is also very beautiful.

This place is a true oasis right in the city; you are within walking distance of everything (many good warungs within 5 minutes walk), yet the room is very quiet, surrounded by lush trees, and feels very private. It is spacious, sparkling clean (and I'm picky about that), and the curtains are blocking light completely in the morning. Towels and sheets were smelling fresh, AC is good, wifi connection is fast and reliable at all time. Really appreciated the water dispenser to refill my bottle (also an option for hot water!). Breakfast is served on the balcony, overlooking the trees, it was delicious and very pleasant. Every person I met here was genuinely friendly and all smiles. The owner is accommodating and very responsive, communication was smooth and clear. Yes there is a little bit of construction nearby, but nothing crazy: I was worried about that being a light sleeper, but it's very mild and sparse, you might hear something for a few minutes, then it's quiet again! :) Widya really is the best of both worlds, it's peaceful, with the proximity to the liveliness of the city.

Very clean unit and correct breakfast, with the possibility of improvement. The access from the street to the property is narrow and awkward, especially if you have suitcases. The host, Marry, is an exceptional man, and the best tour organizer and guide in Bali. His knowledge and experience is unsurpassed, and he is always ready to help.

Very clean and well decorated. Staff were extremely friendly and even got me flowers for my birthday. We appreciated our stay even though there was lots of noise from construction as the value for the price was great.

Noise from construction but if you plan to stay out all day it is perfect as it is in the center of ubud. We personally loved our stay.

it is a hidden gem in the center with some real nice restaurant and cafe around and the best hostel I've been in Ubud! Room itself is spacious and clean, with good design and jungle view. Breakfast is very delicious, highly recommend the pineapple pancake! Host and the family are really helpful. Do not hesitate to book it!

nothing! some construction going on next door so would be some noice in the day time but it would stop after 5 so still very quite in the evening. I understand that it is quite normal in Ubud as construction everywhere so no complaint.

WOW! Widya Luxury House was a stunning, tranquil, immaculate property located centrally in Ubud (you can walk to so many epic spots within minutes). The property itself is located away from the busy streets and nestled amongst jungle making it a serene and peaceful stay. The room and amenities were very clean and modern (a new build in 2023), and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, we looked forward to it each morning. But what made our stay so exceptional was the host family who are some of the most lovely people you will ever meet. Meri took such good care of us and also took us on an incredible day tour around Ubud and surrounding areas (he's a fantastic guide and taxi driver, don't hesitate to book his services while you're in Bali). If you're looking for a clean, comfortable and hospitable stay where you will be well looked after, do not hesitate to book this accommodation. Thank you again Meri for everything. Cannot wait to come back again soon!

I loved that this property is located in such a calm area, but also seconds away from the Main Street of Ubud. Couldn’t hear a noise from my room, only the forest noises that are soothing. Room was very nice, bed was very comfortable, room clean, staff great, toilet clean and pretty. Will definitely come back. Been in Bali for sometimes rooms are either different than the pictures, moldy or smelly. Not this one, this one is absolutely perfect and new. Only addition I would make is a TV for the night time/rainy days. But not a must ☺️ Thank you so much for the stay, I loved it

Near to the main road. Very convenient. Clean, comfortable and spacious. Nice breakfast. We were also assisted with late check in (had to check in at 2am as flight delayed).
