Les Chalets Pecatu

Cool concept, decent price, fairly comfortable. We are backpacking so needed a budget accommodation for a couple days. Good location for wanting to head to multiple directions in Uluwatu.

A lot of noise outside, especially from the road and late night/early morning noises and music (a cockerel that makes noise most of the day). The front door was basically off of its hinges, could just about lock the door. The door to the bathroom which is also the door to the wardrobe was stuck, couldn't close either way. Didn't have any hot water in the shower all 3 days that we stayed there.

The chalets are very beautiful and comfortable.

The bathroom was not properly cleaned and needs a deep clean. Every time we needed to use the water, we had to ask the staff to turn it on. The towels were not properly washed. The sheets and pillowcases smelled strongly of sweat and dirt and did not seem freshly changed. We had to cover the bedding with our own clothes in order to sleep comfortably. The shared kitchen was also very dirty, and the refrigerator was in particularly poor condition.

deberían mejorar. La toalla que nos proporcionaron estaba muy vieja, desgastada y raspaba muchísimo, por lo que resultaba bastante desagradable utilizarla. Además, la tubería de la ducha estaba en malas condiciones y desprendía un olor desagradable. El grifo de la pica también desprendía un mal olor al dejar salir el agua. La cortina de la ducha estaba MUY sucia y daba una sensación bastante desagradable a la hora de utilizar el baño. Otro aspecto que nos sorprendió fue que no había sábana para cubrirse, sino que directamente había que dormir tapándose con el edredón, algo que consideramos poco higiénico. Por si fuera poco, durante la noche se fue el agua y no pude ducharme, lo que resultó especialmente incómodo y demuestra una falta de mantenimiento y previsión por parte del alojamiento.

L'odeur, la vétusté, le bruit. Les rideaux ne ferment pas totalement. Bruits de camion citerne toute la nuit. Juste une grande lumière au plafond. Vieille carpette dans la salle de bain. Toute la robinetterie rouillée. Vieil essuie tout pelucheux qui n'essuie plus tellement il est vieux. Cuisine inutilisable de par son manque d'entretien.

very nice and welcoming staff, property was maybe 10/15 mins MAX from main ulu but gojeks made it very easy. the shower and sink were cold and flooded regularly but staff were very accommodating to help us with what we needed to clean it up however I hope they fix it properly for the next. great overall stay though and I’d definitely stay again here! The animals were a plus too 🐾

The management appears to be completely unaware of the most basic fundamentals of hospitality. The staff require comprehensive training from the ground up.

NOISE! The place is so noisy, sleeping is problematic. We heard other people talking and the traffic all the time, before 6am a the rooster starts to crow for next 3 hours, ear stoppers are not helping enough :( The bathroom smells really bad

There were no outdoor furnitures? No hand soap and the shower pressure was very low

Water pressure was pretty poor

The bedsheet is not properly cleaned. They smell perspiration. There's no tissue. The door is broken. There are mosquitos. There is no customer service. They do not answer to your messages. Then there were no water the day after. The wifi is crap. The place just looks good on photos, not in real life.

Good for the price. Stayed before we boarded our flight, the bed comfy and overall old but clean bathroom

The staff had no idea.....they kept us waiting for the room for about an hour before they were sure it was us

El aire acondicionado funcionaba perfectamente. La cama era muy cómoda y amplio espacio para guardar la ropa. Dan champú y gel, se agradece. La terraza viene muy bien para secar las toallas etc y dejar las zapatillas

Air conditioner not working… they told you by booking message l they have scooter for rent but when you arrive they don’t have any more scooter to rent !

The chalet was so comfy (provided the air conditioner is 🔛😂) and functional with a minimalist & traditional taste! The room/bathroom was pretty clean and the location was good (wish it was in a walking distance to the beach, but well -- couldn't ask for a better price-performance ratio! ;)).

No electric water kettle on the table 🫖😆

I didn’t have WiFi in my room, due to the Ramadan nobody was able to fix it and I felt uncomfortable

Bungalow was very cute and clean, comfy bed and nice bathroom! AC, hot water and wifi great too. Staff was friendly and helpful!

For me was little bit too noisy from traffic and some activities in the house next door. If you are all day outside that really doesn't matter:)

Everything. The bed is terrible hard. The lighting sucks . The location is terrible . You can’t sleep when it rains . Woodworms are eating the wood . The door hardly close right . Dogs poop all over and are not nice to approach the property. It’s $10 a night and that’s who it caters to

The place

It smells like disgusting climbs in the Bungalows, in the room when it rains we hear all, the doors are unboxed, there is no electrical outlet in the bathroom, we hear a child crying from morning to night, the Kitchen is very dirty all days …

Great simple little spot. Kitchen. Good size parking. And SO well priced

The bedding stunk, the toilet was coming off the floor and the bathroom smelt really bad. The door didn’t lock properly so it felt not very secure, mozzys and lizards could get in. There is a house nearby who leave their dogs outside and they literally bark ALL NIGHT LONG, when they finally stop at around 6am, the chickens that belong the other side then start. Didn’t sleep a wink here. The staff are not on site other than when u check in so completely unhelpful.

The value for money is incredible. They even have a small kitchen where you can even sit and meet others.

As others mentioned, the bathroom can sometimes smell a bit but when you close the door, it’s really no problem.

Lovely friendly staff, central located, close to the main road and not noisey!
