Reviewed Sep 14, 2026We had a great stay at this hotel in Cat Ba! The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel is located right in the center, which is very convenient for exploring Cat Ba, with restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Towels were provided, and the staff were happy to provide extra towels whenever we needed them. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cat Ba!

Tony and the rest of the staff were so friendly and always greeted me with a smile in the mornings, and were great help booking me tours direct through the hotel for a discounted rate. Although the amount of construction going up means the hotel is no longer on the seafront as it was 12 months ago, I still had a great east facing view with the sunrise coming through the limestone hills every morning, but I would definitely stay here again in any room solely for the hospitality!

Reviewed Feb 25, 2026The hotel is close to restaurants and beaches. The staff offered a good excursions and assist with a bus transfer from and to Hanoi.
Unfortunately, we were during lunar new year and the hotel suspended cleaning service and breakfast. The latter was especially a problem since most of restaurants were also closed. The problem is that staff didn't informed us that breakfast is not provided however it was included in our reservation on booking.com. Also, all facility are too old or broken. The hotel faces the noise street, so one cannot sleep with open windows. The door to the corridor is half transparent which creates a problem if someone turns on light in the corridor or in the neighboring room.

Tủ lạnh ko hoạt động được và đã rất cũ Ko có bình siêu tốc -> đây là dụng cụ căn bản mà ks, nhà nghỉ nào cũng phải có nhưng nv nói để tránh cháy nổ điều này ko quá hợp lý

The taps were super rusty. There was no place to put the shampoo/soap. Nothing felt truly clean. The bath towels had stains and hairs on them of several lengths... the toilet seat had dust or some sort of particles... there was the remains of a cigarette by the bathroom window. The windows and mirrors were full of smudges and kind of opaque because of the dirtiness. The elevator was so dusty... like construction work was being done except it wasn't. The ac remote had no batteries. I could only control the ac by shutting off the whole electricity to the room. (So the lights and outlets would be off too) They forgot i had booked breakfast so there was no breakfast on the 1st morning. I don't mind if it was a no star hotel. But it was 3 stars if i remember correctly.. And the price said it had a huge discount, it was supposed to be around 60-80euros per night, but it ended up being just 20 with the discount. So it just felt like I was lied to. Again the staff at reception were always kind and wonderful, but with the pictures provided and the supposed original price it felt very misleading.
