This hostel was so fun! I went at the end of the month and attended a full moon party :) I loved it so much. Good food, friendly staff and good vibes !!

It’s quite far out and there is no grab on the island :(

Very good hostel to chill in Nusa Penida, with good food and activities! I really enjoyed my stay there.

Beautiful and good balance of chill vs party vibes.

So peaceful and quiet but also had options for going out. Was so helpful and easy setting up boat transfers and transportation.

Der Pool ist groß und schön. Die Betten sind bequem, alles war relativ sauber. Man kann (und muss auch, weil alles sehr weit weg ist) Roller leihen. Es gibt quasi ein Restaurant und Bar direkt im Hostel, man kann also zur Not auch dort was zu essen bekommen (ist lecker, aber teuer).

Es ist definitiv ein Party-Hostel! Als wir ankamen, war eine große Fullmoon Party geplant für den Abend, über die uns aber niemand informiert hatte. Die Party fand im Hostel Außenbereich statt und es war laute Musik bis 3 Uhr morgens. Dafür kam man natürlich auch gratis rein zur Party, aber eine kleine Vorwarnung wäre nett gewesen und vielleicht nichts für Menschen, die entspannen wollen. Es gibt viele Aktivitäten, aber die meisten sind auch wieder mit Alkohol (zB „Tipsy Bingo“ oÄ). Das Hostel ist sehr weit außerhalb und man muss wirklich gut Roller fahren können, um da runter die kaputte Straße zu kommen. Die Toiletten sind außerhalb. Man muss also vom Dorm aus dem kleinen Häuschen raus, am Pool vorbei und in ein anderes Häuschen, um auf Klo zu gehen oder sich die Hände zu waschen. Wenigstens ein Waschbecken oben wäre super!

It's like a family, everyone is so friendly.

Lots of hostel activities and bathroom is cleaned often. Peaceful location

le concept , les services, l'organisation de soirées isolé dans la jungle la piscine est top! les plats (pizza) sympas

l'isolement dans la jungle et le chemin très dangereux pour quelqu'un peu habitué pour un voyageur solo qui ne conduit pas et veut se balader, être autonome= galère!! aucune ambiance le samedi soir, une dizaine de clients dj qualité mais personne ne dansait (la musique n'est pas faite pour danser!) venue exprès pour rien, au lit à 1Oh! quelle arnaque (ou pas de chance!?)

Todo es increíble! La piscina brutal tienes hasta para jugar al basquet las habitaciones amplias con intimidad aún que compartas habitación! Está todo súper cuidado y limpio !

I had an excellent stay! The property was clean, comfortable, and very well‑maintained. The price was surprisingly affordable for the quality offered. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. Great value for money — I would definitely stay here again

Das Personal ist super freundlich und kümmert sich rund un die Uhr um die Gäste. Der eigentliche Grund zu kommen ist allerdings die Küche, das essen ist der Wahnsinn, eine klare 10/10

Lovely little hostel hidden away in the jungle, great staff and atmosphere, we felt instantly comfortable. The food is amazing too. Special shout out to Laura, Tequila and Romeo💘🐶

We loved our time here, the only feedback we’d give is there was no way to lock our dorm room (but there is locked drawers for belongings)

Apart from the beautiful scenery, the cleanliness, the nice rooms and the good food, the hostel stands out for its social engagement. There are activities every day. E.g., there are sightseeing tours, movie nights and dance parties on Saturdays (which are open to guests from other hostels, so even in the low season there are enough people to socialise with). A big shout-out to Laura! She offered to be my tour guide for the day! Thanks again! And in general: Thank you to the whole staff! I really enjoyed your company:)

This was the most comfortable, clean, spacious and beautiful hostel I've ever stayed at. They have pool table, darts, basket court, pool and board games. Special mention to the staff, the owner Sam and Estela, the actual volunteer. They were always very helpful and made me feel super comfortable and have fun.

Food prices higher than usual (still cheap after all).

The beds is comfy, all good, there’s a locker in the bottom of the bed, bathroom with a lot of showers and toilets, pool table, and huge place to chill by the swimming pool. One room is 10 people, great food in the inhouse restaurant, you can order everything there. It’s for someone who wants to chill at one place and don’t wanna go out. There are events as well. Nice place, welcoming staff.

The distance, the more you go in the smaller the road is, only for advanced driver or you can ask the hostel to arrange a motorbike pickup/car for you.

Le personnel été très gentil, très accueillant, drôle, Margo qui est volontaire nous a fait rentrer direct dans le mood du Penida project, elle a été génial avec notre groupe. Merci à tous et surtout Margo qui été super!

Le billard été un peu vieux mais quand même très utile 😅 (on fait les meilleurs partie sur les vieilles tables)

Super cooles Hostel mit netten Leuten und mega leckerem Essen. Man konnte sehen, dass der Weg zur Unterkunft verbessert wurde. Schöne kleine ruhige Oase, trotzdem nicht weit von allen Restaurants (10 Min. Per Roller)

Personal an der Bar war jetzt leider nicht übermäßig freundlich. Die Musik, die den ganzen Tag am Pool läuft, war schon recht laut, lesen ging dort nicht wirklich gut.

Beautifully maintained hostel with a lush pool and very sweet staff. Surrounded by forest, it has a serene, peaceful vibe. They host fun activities every evening, which makes it easy to meet people. The rooms are spotless. The beds are large and comfortable, with multipurpose plug points, super convenient! The bathrooms (located outside the rooms) are clean but, the sinks tend to get wet quickly. They also help arrange snorkeling trips, taxis, and bike rentals. It’s a bit pricier to book through them, but definitely convenient. The food is great, and the coffee is delicious!

This is definitely a PARTY HOSTEL, great for a younger crowd who love music and social vibes. 🎶 While the property itself is beautiful, it did feel like something was missing. What we didn’t expect was the loud music that plays throughout the day and into the night (usually until around 11:10 PM). The rooms are not sound proof. The hostel is tucked away, and the road leading up to it is quite uneven. It’s a bit too disconnected, so getting to the beaches or nearby spots takes some time. We were actually trying to avoid a party atmosphere, so this wasn’t the right fit for us, but if you’re looking for energy, music, and a social crowd, you’ll probably love it here.

The staff were exceptional. Very friendly and welcoming. The place is very clean and tidy. Great facilities including the pool, bathrooms and bedrooms. The food is great as well.

Everything is great except the location is a bit out of town so you ideally need a scooter to get around, but there are scooter and car taxis so it’s not the end of the world if you can’t drive one. My friend and I didn’t rent a scooter and we still got around for the day and nights with taxis easily

Penida Project is beautiful and rooms and amenities are super clean. The french toast is absolutely TO DIE FOR and food is just great in general. Lots of doggos running around. Boxing classes are sooo much fun !! They have heaps of info on tours, diving and surfing places around the island too. Heaps of activities run daily at the hostel. Everyone we met was so super lovely, staff and travellers alike !!

Ils refusent de louer des scooters si vous n’êtes pas expérimenté, j’ai donc été bloqué à l’hostel et obligé de payer très cher le moindre déplacement. J’ai vu deux plages max à cause de ça, j’ai fait 4jours à Nusa sans voir Nusa. Pas de nourriture local donc prix élevé pour manger.

One of the most special places I've ever been! The hostel itself is beautiful as it is already, but what it makes so unique is the atmosphere, the passion, the hospitality of the people working and living there. Laid-back vibe, first thing they ask for is your name, and consequently they will remember and you'll be welcomed as a family member. Everyone, guests and staff, here seems to have the same open-minded and welcoming spirit. They host a full moon party each month, with basically half the island participating, locals, expats and tourists the like. It's the only big party on the island and is prepared with love. Ocean cleanup, mutual activities, affordable scooter rental (must have on the island) are great options to have and I think you can see the good you do by bringing money to an island that just develops and tries to find out which direction it wants to develop into.

There's nothing to dislike. Clean facilities, comfy beds, food and drinks on site, common areas in great condition...

I really liked the social vibe at the hostel. There are so many events where you can get to know people, that you can then spend the days with. The rooms are very tidy and getting cleaned every day.

I had a great time here and ended up extending twice! The hostel itself has really nice facilities - nice, spacious dorm rooms, a pool, pool table, bar, restaurant, basketball court, scooter rental, laundry service,... What really made the difference were the people working here. They brought a lot of positive energy to the place and made the experience unique. I highly recommend coming here, and already plan to extend ;) because it happened to all of us.

It was a bit far from the port. I was placed in the top bunk, which was too high for me. I scraped my leg while I was going down from the stairs.

The location is not the best but if you rent a bike there is no problem at all. Actually the isolation of the place kind of build its intimacy.

All the staff are simply the nicest, most welcoming people and so easy to engage with! The owners are often floating around and are sound as, humble guys. They've done an amazing job at creating an environment that caters to all types of guests. Whether you love to have a drink and send it, or chill around the picturesque pool with one of their signature cocktails! With a basketball court, pool table, and darts on offer, there's something to keep you entertained all day! There is an extensive menu with all your favourite comfort foods and their pizzas are legitimately the best!! Each night hosts a different activity or event, like taco Tuesday, beer pong Fridays, and a live band with pool comp on Saturdays! The bedrooms are super cosy, the bathroom facilities are well maintained and the pool, well, the pool speaks for itself!! The hostel is slightly off the beaten track, which offers exceptional tropical forest vibes surrounding you, and with bike hire available, you're only a few minutes from the beach. The Penida Project is an absolute 'must stay'. You will love it!

Absolutely nothing.

It's one of the best hostels that I've stayed in during my time in bali, it's super solo friendly. The owners are engaged in the property events and interact with the guests, The vibes are immaculate the food is top notch. Staff and social hosts are super friendly and there are an amazing range of activities like free boxing and family dinners. It's really social and easy to meet people. They have cute doggos too. Social hosts leilani, aiden and rhiannon were super friendly and very helpful ❤️

Everything! This hostel feels more like you’re staying at a friends house compared to a normal hostel!! I originally booked for a night at the full moon party but found myself staying a whole week! This place is the perfect hostel 👌🏽 The food & drinks are amazing! You almost have to force yourself to leave and go do activities! Great facilities, beds, dorms, pool and restaurant 👌🏽 It was that good I rebooked and extended my stay 3 times…

Está pensado para solo travelers o gente que quiere socializar. Tienen actividades todos los diaa y zonas comunes guays. Tienen trabajadores muy amables pero está alejado, el camino para llegar es un poco peligroso. (Toda la isla)

Banger, regardez la programmation avant de venir car les soirées peuvent être festives, genre ça termine en galipette sur le lit d'en face. Lits qui sont d'ailleurs très confortables et proposant une intimité certaine. Un peu perdu, ce qui fait son charme, alors le scooter est obligatoire. On peut manger sur place mais c'est relativement cher (mais bon).

The staff are the most welcoming i have come across and provide an array of classes and activities to bring everyone in the hostel together! The BEST I HAVE STAYED IN. would highly recommend for anyone visiting nusa penida. Also the facilities were clean and so good, hot water always. Really cant find anything bad to say about this place absolutely fantastic!!!!!!

Hostel super agréable ! Le personnel est super sympathique, il y a un resto et bar service inclus. La nourriture est bonne. Les lits sont hyper confortables (petit plus avec les rideaux). On peut louer des scooters sur place. La Rep française Julie est vraiment trop top! Elle m'a abordée le premier jour où je suis arrivée pour participer à l'activité du jour et j'y ai fait plein de connaissances. J'ai adoré, j'ai prolongé.

Les casques des scooters trop grands C'est vrai que l'emplacement est un peu éloigné (à pied) mais avec un scooter c'est pas dérangeant.

I had an amazing stay! The staff were super friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The place is beautiful and super chill, with lots of activities to enjoy, especially in the evenings. Franchement c’était incroyable comme des airs de colonies de vacances. L’approche et les activités du soirs avec la disposition du lieu facilite les échanges avec tout le monde. Nourriture très bonne aussi j’ai adoré

le seul bémol c’est que les activitées proposées par les prestataires ne sont pas au tarif d’un hostel. On peut trouver moins cher en ville

It was such an amazing hostel, very social and everyday an activity. An amazing pool and the people I met here were fantastic! Especially Lucia, who just works here! She is amazing!

One of those few places on earth that creates a genuine connection between everyone staying here. Met a lot of new friends while staying. Loads of social activities offered by the Hostel (check their groupschat). I really liked the pool to chill out. Bunk beds are spacious enough and it’s overall clean. It was Full Moon Party on my first night, still I wouldn’t call it a Party Hostel. They also have the most cheerful staff! Kudos to Sam and Lucia especially for going the extra mile in customer care 😉

Top bunks are for tall climbers only. Not too much locker space in my room for a big suitcase. You need a quite expensive taxi to go anywhere on Nusa (wouldn’t recommend riding a scooter as the roads are super steep and in bad condition).
