Villa Wal Farmstay

Everything about the property! But if I had to single out a few things it would be: - Host - Rita and Hubby - One of the bests hosts, so thoughtful and very helpful of course. - Hot Tub. - Games - Dominoes, Uno, etc to steal some time. - Netflix. - Swimming Pool - 3M deep, nice and clean. - Braai Area - Perfect set up with canvas closing, shielding you from the elements. - WIFI - Stable and quite fast. - Kitchen - Had everything you could possibly need/want. - Personal Touches - the shortbread biscuits on the beds, as well the Birthday Balloon and Cupcakes from Rita for my wife. - Total Privacy. Footnote : As soon as you step foot inside the kitchen, you get the feeling that this could be your own home. So lovely!

Nothing I didn't like about the property.

Loved the quietness away form the city. The jacuzzi was fantastic.

Rita has put in so much thought regarding placement of entertainment facilities. Everything that is needed is in the house. So much attention to detail. We will definately be going back.

Attention to detail. Once there,there is no need to go do a shop run for anything in the house.

The hot tub was ready for us and facilities were clean. The nature was gorgeous and there was even a little dam for fishing.

The location is perfect for a proper breakaway The house comes fully loaded n we literally just needed to bring minimal things which was amazing The small details really shows the host effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.... From the games left to entertain the kids n adults.... To the fully stacked fireplace with enough would to keep the fire and hot tub going all weekend. The directions were spot on making it extremely easy to find. Rita herself was amazing in accomadating and welcoming us on arrival and even getting the hot tub started for us whilst we we were still en route. The rooms were neat and spacious with ample closet space. The beds are comfortable. Overall just a beautiful place to be and i cant wait to do it again.

There was nothing not to like

Mainly the fact that it was away from the city. I found the location beautiful. There's just something about the countryside. The hot tub was awesome, and the house itself had no faults. Everything was great, really.

The fact that we needed to leave, haha. Jokes aside, I cannot fault a thing, if I'm honest.

The location was perfect as well as all the amenities. The house was well furnished with everything you would need to make this your home away from home.

Nothing! Everything was excellent!

Everything, I can't fault anything. Loved the hot tub and that it was enclosed, so perfect during winter. Ample wood supplied. Rita preheating the hot tub for our arrival was the chery on top! Well stocked with all essentials for kitchen (including a dishwasher), bathroom (bath and beach towels provided), and bedding. It was clean and neat. Rita was very welcoming. Definitely will be returning.

Jacuzzi and Braai area very nice

Was really great weekend. Place was nice. It had everything we need and more. Owners are very friendly and always willing to assist. Hot tub was perfect. Piece full and quiet.

Nothing i can complain about

We loved the location. The house was very clean and beautiful. We had everything that we needed and more. We are definitely going back.

The pool and jacuzzi were fantastic, nice sized lawn for kids to play on. Stars at night here are phenomenal. Braai area is great (Out of the wind and under cover) Host went the extra mile by adding cookies on the beds, full milk in fridge and ample wood for braai and Jacuzzi.

Only comment I have is some black out curtains would be nice for the rooms.

The property has every thing that you need to enjoy a weekend away. There is a very nice jacuzzi as well as a nice swimming pool and outdoor braai close to each other. The property is on a perfect location where nobody can bothering you. Will definitely go back and recommend it to every one!

It could benefit from air conditioning. There were fans in each room.

Cleanliness inside the villa Comfy beds

Swimming pool was filthy and we couldn’t utilise it. Luckily there is a jacuzzi There was no electricity for our entire stay. We informed the owner and she sent someone that confirmed that the power is off cannot be fixed and we should put the candles on for the night, Eskom will come the following day. We made salads and rice just before we left Cape Town thinking they might not have potsthat are big enough to cater for us. When we got there the fridge was off due to no power supply and all our food was off the following day and the owner only brought the generator on Saturday. Our ice melted we bought everything as she advised us that there were no shops nearby and ice melted, food went off. All she could say was that it is not her fault that there is no electricity it’s Eskom’s fault. The entire weekend was just a wasteful expenditure on our part and gain for her. We had to drive to Caledon to buy food we had and vinigar to wash our meat. We had not water since we got there on Friday until the owner came Saturday afternoon. We couldn’t take shower or make use of the ablutions. We did not buy water because we were advised that the water is drinkable. When the water issue was finally sorted Saturday afternoon the water was brown. There entire trip was just waste of our money and we wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone. It was just a mess. The bad outweighs the good.

It was so nice and quiet. The hot tub was an amazing addition to the house which was exquisite from both inside and outside.

Everything was perfect the place was nice and clean

I absolutely loved this house! It was well equipped. We were Impressed that Kitchen had a big variety of utensils. The Dishwasher was a winner in Kitchen. We loved that all beds had electric blankets & bedding modern & comfortable. We were able to watch rugby too. The Hot Tub was Great. Real Farmstay with a modern Twist here and then. Loved it!

Wouldn’t change anything about this property. If you looking for farmstay vibe with some of your favourite things from home this is it

Location was perfect beautiful we just love everything

It was perfect

Owners were very accommodating and were very nice. The home itself was very clean, neat and private. The home was perfect for us as 2 couples, an additional adult, a toddler and an infant. The pool was lovely as well. The outdoor area was safe and the view was awesome. We will definitely be back.

The location is amazing. The view of the Farm and its plants is beautiful. House is nicely equipped with all of our needs. That we could book out when we were ready. The quietness of the surrounding areas and the sounds of the farm animals in the distance.

That we had to leave.

We had an outstanding stay at Villa Wal. Rita was an exceptional host and made sure to see to our every need and comfort. There was nothing we needed that was not provided. Her communication was proactive, very informative and so helpful. Due to the very bad weather during our stay we ran into some issues, which was completely outside of our host's control, however, it never affected our stay at all because Rita and her team was on hand to ensure our continued safety and comfort. A truly wonderful and restful stay. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely nothing to improve upon. We would definitely come back again!
