Everything. The hotel is about a kilometre from the main square so close enough for a comfortable walk to the main area and secure parking if you have a hire car. The restaurant is great, lots of choices for breakfast and dinner. We had dinner there twice and enjoyed our meals immensely.

Everything. The staff are helpful and courteous; the rooms were lovely and the meals were good. We had a hire car and were able to park next door in a private car park for a small fee.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Hotel El Bodeguero. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special highlight was when they took the time to give us a personal tour of their wine cellar! They were also extremely accommodating: since we had to leave very early every morning for our excursions, they kindly prepared a delicious breakfast to-go for us each day. Thank you for making our trip so special!

Nothing, but rooms are a bit small

El edificio es hermoso, las habitaciones impecables, muy buen gusto en la ambientación . Es un hotel que está muy cuidado , es cálido y muy moderno. La habitación es hermosa , la cama invita a un buen descanso . La limpieza excelente ! Todo impecable ! Sin dudas que volvería alojarme en este Hotel. Está muy cerca de restaurantes, cafecitos… la ubicación ideal!

Hotel encantador, auténtico y muy bien ubicado. Desde el primer momento nos sentimos muy bien recibidos. La atención de Gustavo en la recepción fue excepcional. Nos compartió la historia de la casa y sus antiguos dueños, lo que hizo la estadía aún más especial. Además, coincidimos con él como guía en el Tren Alas Nubes, una grata sorpresa que reforzó nuestra positiva impresión. La cama es muy cómoda, los espacios están muy bien distribuidos y el ambiente invita al descanso. Volveríamos sin duda. Totalmente recomendado.

Modern, clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. It was only 20mins walk or 10min drive into the city centre. Breakfast was delicious.

The staff are incredible, very helpful and polite. The mini bar and breakfast are delicious the room was amazing, clean, comfortable and stylish.

le petit déjeuner est payant et franchement pas terrible : une salade de fruit : une demi pomme coupée en lamelle, avec une demi prune également coupée en lamelle... tout est payant. les tartine et la confiture, le jus d'orange et le café... si tout était raffiné, et bon cela ne serait pas un souci, mais c'est cher pour un minimul de service.... quel dommage.

A beautifully renovated mansion that radiates charm and class. The hotel’s common areas felt very luxurious, with beautiful woodwork and warm lighting. By contrast, our room was very modern, albeit a bit on the small side. The queen-size bed was comfortable, lighting great, and shower pressure in the rainforest shower appropriately strong. We needed time to get used to our clothes hanging literally in front of the window (between the glass and the curtain), in plain view of some neighbors; an interesting design. Breakfast and dinner (one night) in the courtyard was by order (no buffet), which was fast and to our liking; when we had two excursions early in the morning, the hotel offered a fast breakfast at the bar which was of good quality. Excellent staff throughout the hotel. Salta is an excellent base for excursions in all directions; we especially liked Purmamarca and the Salinas Grandes.

The hotel is a bit off the beaten path which can be a plus or a minus. It is a 15-minute walk to the central square; the area felt safe even in the evening, which was also confirmed by hotel staff. As we stayed for four nights, the distance just felt more as a minus to us.

La belle rénovation de cette ancienne maison coloniale. La qualité de la literie. Le personnel est super agréable. Le petit-déjeuner est très qualitatif. Merci pour le verre d'accueil et les Alfajores.

Nous avions 2 chambres de réservées dont une avec 2 lits simples : nous avons eu 2 lits doubles. Dans la chambre 6 : la Vmc est extrêmement bruyante quand elle se déclenche a chaque entrée dans la salle de bain. Le module extérieur de la clim de la chambre a droite est extrêmement bruyant toute la nuit : cela faisait un bruit de camion qui accélère... Très désagréable. Pas de place pour ouvrir les valises tellement les chambres sont petites. Le lavabo à l'entrée de la chambre 6 n'est pas très pratique. Le petit-déjeuner à la carte c'est super quand on a le temps... mais quand on a un avion a prendre, nous l'avons englouti trop rapidement.

Hotel maravilhoso! Hotelaria de alto nível! Colchão, travesseiros, roupa de cama impecáveis. O café da manhã é uma experiência, melhor café da manhã de hotel que já experimentei. Voltaria pra Salta novamente só para me hospedar aqui.

Wonderful hotel which has been beautifully renovated. Modern, spacious room with quality furnishings. Staff are friendly and helpful. Waiter served breakfast which was excellent. Evening dinner was superb.

We went for dinner again on the Sunday evening and found the bar and dining room closed. We were told it is closed on Sunday evenings. We were so disappointed by this and felt we should have been advised of this.

À la carte and really nice breakfast We were upgraded to a large room which was very comfortable with all amenities We only spent one night on 25 dec so the neighborhood was empty, we took the car to go to the old city center Receptionist was extremely friendly and took time to explain the history of the hotel

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at El Bodeguero. From the moment we got there, the team were friendly, kind and always happy to assist. In particular both Lionel and Mark, on the front desk, were always chatty, asked about our day and gave helpful advice whenever asked. We spent three of our days doing very early starts and the team were more than happy to provide us with a breakfast bag to take away first thing, and accommodated us being vegetarian and not drinking dairy. The days we did get to have breakfast, we adored the scrambled egg with avocado on sourdough toast. And as far as coffee goes, and everyone should know coffee is not Argentinas strong point, we’re actually the best hotel coffee we had over our entire trip. The breakfast team were also very sweet and were always happy to accommodate our entry level Spanish 😂 The bedroom itself was fantastic, very spacious and fantastically clean. The bed was our favourite in Argentina, I hated having to wake up every morning as I never wanted to get out of the bed 😅 the bathroom was also beautiful, huge shower but could benefit from a handheld and a little bit of shelf space in the shower itself, if I’m desperately trying to find something to pick at. The team were more than happy to accommodate our late check out request and held our bags for the day whilst we enjoyed the last day we had in Salta. The location isn’t in the ‘main’ area but a short 10 minute walk away, which when you understand how busy Salta is, means the area is very quiet and easy to get to for any excursion vehicles and Ubers. Honestly, this was our favourite stay in Argentina and we are still talking about the bed and how comfy it was.

We enjoyed our stay beyond measure. Tiny nitpicking details would be the additional of a handheld unit in the shower, some shelf space in the shower, the bathroom being anti fog and maybe screw down the clothing and coat rack in the foyer of the room. These are TINY things though. I worked in hotels for nearly 10 years and this is an exceptional example of hospitality and comfort.

Super Lage, Parkplatz vor der Tür, sehr gepflegtes Restaurant mit Weinkeller und hauseigenem Sommelier, großzügige Zimmer mit Minibar und complimentary Wasser, Der Platz Julio 9 in Fussweite, große Restaurantoptionen und Penas um die Ecke, aber keine echte Alternative zum hauseigenen Restaurant. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Mehrsprachige Rezeption- tolles historisches Haus mit Seele!

fantastic place to stay in Salta. Loved everything about the place: very cosy, stylish, feels boutique and modern but with very effective references to the building it is in with wooden details, spacious stairway and a tiny old lift that works great to get the luggage up or down. The room is spacious, all beddings are of superior quality. There are glasses including wine ones in the room too. Bathroom is fully equipped with everything you may need. Really really lovely place to stay Also, breakfast is a la cart, which after travelling for 3 weeks already felt very refreshing. Breakfast is great And a small detail which we missed, but definitely worth mentioning - you get a welcoming glass of wine in the restaurant on the house

I did not manage to get netflix on the tv. But then, I didnt put too much effort to it either. Might have been low battery for the remote. But really not something that makes a difference

L'hôtel a fait l'objet d'une parfaite rénovation moderne d'une ancienne demeure coloniale. L'établissement est impeccable avec un excellent rapport qualité prix. Et le personnel tout à fait à la hauteur

We had some of our clothes ruined in the laundry service, where everything seemed to have been tumble dried even though we didn’t ask for express service.

Was für ein kleines Juwel in Salta. Wir waren für zwei Nächte hier – die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und die Betten super gemütlich. Auch die Lobby ist so gemütlich, dass man sich hier zum Arbeiten oder Lesen gut aufhalten kann. Auch die Lage des Hotels ist gut – Salta kann von hier fußläufig erkundet werden. Frühstück kann a la carte Bestellt werden und ist ausgesprochen lecker. Wir haben auch den Waschservice im Hotel genutzt. Die Wäsche war sehr sauber und hat gut gerochen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

Absolutamente tudo perfeito! Cama, chuveiro, iluminação do quarto, cordialidade dos funcionários… O café da manhã é incrível, super bem servido e com comida de muita qualidade.
