Reviewed Sep 12, 2025It was perfect for our stop over on our way through Upington. Location was great, the beds were comfortable, well kitted out kitchenette and Theo was a very friendly host.
Nothing. Everything was great but one suggestion I could make would be that they put mattress protectors on the beds. Just a thought to make sure the mattresses are protected in case a child has an accident on them.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2025I could not sleep at my own house for 3 weeks because of a hurt lower back. I slept on my carpet. when I came in the room, the first thing i wanted to see was the mattress... i felt both of the mattresses and i told my husband that i will be able to sleep on the bed. I was able to sleep on a bed for the whole night without back ache. i am so pleased- and would love to buy their mattresses :-)

Reviewed Jan 1, 2025We had a very pleasant one-night stay in this self-catering unit. The place was incredibly neat and clean, with everything (and more) you could possibly need for a short visit. The setting was peaceful and quiet. A special mention to the thoughtful host who had the aircon switched on before our arrival, ensuring the room was perfectly comfortable. Highly recommend for a hassle-free, relaxing stay!
No wine glasses, but the host was more than happy to provide glasses and a wine opener. An air fryer would come in handy if guests were staying a bit longer.

Place looked exactly as per pictures, no surprises🙂. Outdoor facility and braai area spacious and well structured. You don't get this type of outdoor facility at allot of places.

Gelukkig het Theo vir ons vooraf die "aircon" aangesit, so dit was 'n plus punt🤗Perfek vir' n gesin van 3. Sal beslis weer oorslaap wanneer ons in Upington is.

No proper table inside the room to sit down and eat - table outside on stoep Had to ask for induction plate/stove top to be put in - not standard No facility to wash some clothes and hang it up to dry.

Private outside patio with build-in braai and braai wood supplied. Highly recommended. Superb modern and comprehensive electrical backup system (even for aircon) to overcome loashedding. Close to a major modern mall.
