Lots of stairs, this property would be no good for anybody who had problems climbing stairs. The sink was in the room and not the bathroom.

Reservation d’une chambre supérieure avec balcon et vue mer mais malheureusement le balcon n’était pas réservé seulement à cette chambre. Tous les clients de l’auberge pouvait y avoir accès et y prendre l’apéro presque devant notre porte-patio. Donc je vous conseille de ne pas prendre une chambre supérieure car nous n’avons le bien-être escompté. Confort du lit faible. Le petit-déjeuner était assez simple, pas de jus ni de fruits.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026The cottage Inn is well located, easy to reach. Staff was kind ans helpful. We were bitten by mosquitoes when taking a walk, the receptionist was very thoughtful and lent us antimosquito spray and gel. Breakfast was copious, so was the diner, good value for money!

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026The hospitality at Georgetown Inn was uncommonly thoughtful. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful about recreation opportunities in the surrounding area, which is beautiful. The breakfast offerings, included in the stay, were various and rich, the music in the dining room was enjoyable and, here's a small thing: the host placed a small flashlight in our bedside table.
A hot pot or some other way to make tea early in the morning would have been nice.

Would have expected way of making tea/coffee in room, especially since breakfast wasn't until 8 am. Pillows too puffy. Steep staircase to rooms was a bit unexpected - not accessible to persons with mobility issues. Georgetown itself is very quiet and peaceful, but not much going on- tourist info seemed a bit misleading.

We find the bed and pillows not comfortable at all. Plus the TV was turned down to low had to use my phone and ear buds. We wanted to relax and watch a movie on netflix. It was raining and early evening.

This building is historic and everything about it was grand. It was not the Hilton but much better. We used it as a starting point for our trips around the island. The hosts were so down to earth and gave us lots of insight into what to see. Ask them anything.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026The Inn is interesting and Olde Worldy. Very comfortable bed and great room. We stayed in the Captains Room which is huge. Some nice gift shops just a stroll away. The food here was good and worth eating here rather than going elsewhere. Owner was very helpful and it’s close enough to ferry port at wood island to make ideal stopover.
Wasn’t much not to like. Being an older house you could hear people talking and moving around in other rooms but this wasn’t an issue.

Reviewed May 15, 2026Our stay was amazing. Our hosts Bob & Chelsea were so friendly, kind and welcoming - they really made us feel welcome and so well cared for during our stay. It was exactly as advertised, the room was perfect and the breakfast options were all amazing. Local PEI potatoes (for hash browns) and the freshest and tastiest fruit on our yogurt/granola breakfast. The pictures were current and matched exactly the accomodations!
Nothing at all - I can't think of a single detail that wasn't perfect. It was shoulder season so we had the place to ourselves and it was a nice quiet place to enjoy and relax in.

Dining staff was amazing, she was so personable and made sure we had everything we needed, even ice for our small cooler bag. Both staff members made our stay exceptional! Very comfortable beds and soft linens. Breakfast was great, and dinner available as well. Location excellent with the most incredible bakery a couple blocks away, “Maroon Pig Gallery” !!
Small upstairs rooms very small and attic ceilings not so great for my tall husband. Second night we upgraded to the largest room and it was perfect but spendy.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2025Comfort of the room with maritime themes, bathroom with all amenities, restaurant part of it with great deserts, great service. Reservation process on line with booking.com felt safe compared to other sites.
For people older, they need to request the lowest level of the rooms as we were at the highest level with 26 steps and no elevator. It was fine for us but just a point to consider when people reserve the room.
