Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Great location, up a hill but central to everything otherwise. Excellent choice of foods at breakfast which was tasty overall. Hotel in general has a pleasant feel. The room although small was tasteful and had everything we needed.
Booked a "superior" room here on booking.com which is actually just a standard room with a slither of a sea view when you lean out of the balcony. I presumed the rooms would be better than standard in some way but apparently not. Breakfast doesn't start till 8 which we thought was quite late but we are early risers. Most days our "clean" towels had some sort of stain of them. Not dirty but again not really a 4 star hotel feel.

Lo staff è stato sempre molto disponibile e cordiale, la struttura nel complesso è tenuta in ottimo stato e abbastanza pulita. L'hotel è dotato di due piscine, una esterna e una interna con le sdraio a disposizione, di una sauna e di una palestra. L'hotel si trova in una posizione centrale, a circa cinque minuti a piedi dalle vie della movida e a pochi minuti dalla spiaggia, anche se per arrivarci la strada non è pianeggiante.

La atención ha sido excelente en todo momento, siempre con una sonrisa y mucha disposición para ayudar. Quiero hacer una mención especial a Marta, la camarera del bufé, por su trato tan cercano, amable y atento. Ha conseguido que cada comida fuera todavía más agradable. Personas como ella hacen que la experiencia en un hotel sea realmente especial. ❤️ Sin duda, me voy muy contenta y con muy buenos recuerdos. ¡Gracias a todo el equipo por hacer de nuestra estancia una experiencia tan bonita! Volvería sin pensarlo. 🥰

In the bar cruzcampo was poured into a traditional pint pot which went flat very quickly, would be better if it was poured into a cruzcampo or chalice pint glass to prevent it going flat was our only complaint.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026I have stayed in Salou several times and this was the best experience and that was largely due to the Golden Acqua hotel: the breakfast was incredible, the location was perfect, the hotel staff were so attentive and friendly, and the facilities were exceptional - even having a signature scent you can take home with you! I would recommend the Golden Acqua hotel to anyone staying in Salou as the hotel has everything any traveller needs. Thank you Golden Salou.
There was fundamentally nothing to dislike. I have no suggestions for improvements and everything needs to stay exactly as it is!

Busy at times but staff worked hard & coped well. Pool area was great. Pool deeper than for most hotels. Always managed to get a sunbed. Free cold water dispenser in bar very handy. Only bought one lunch which was good. Prices reasonable. Great location apart from the pesky hills. Reception staff very friendly & helpful.
Aircon in room not great. Just about kept room cool enough at lowest temperature & highest fan speed. Quiet enough not to disturb sleep. Did report but hotel staff stated is was working fine. Having to pay extra for the safe. Always annoys us.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Minden igényt kielégítő, nagyszerű szálloda, a tengerparttól 5 perc sétára, a vidámparktól kb 30 percnyire. Jól felszerelt, tiszta szobák, kedves és segítőkész személyzet. A svédasztalos reggeli zseniális, kevés helyen láttam eddig ilyen bőséges kínálatot. Több napos tartózkodásra is nagyszerű szállás, a reggeliből ennyi idő után is is bőven lehet válogatni, a szobák pedig kifejezetten alkalmasak hosszabb nyaralásra is.
Egyedül a parkolás problémás, a környéken esélytelen megállni. A szálloda ugyan kínál (drágán) felárért mélygarázst, az azonban kissé rumlis oda lehajtani, meg a parkolóhelyek sem túl nagyok. Amúgy minden tökéletes.

El colchón de muelles de la cama es pésimo, no hay quien duerma allá, dormí super mal, era imposible descansar en esa cama tan dura que pinchaban los muelles. Las almohadas 0 confortables, muy usadas y sin forma ya y super planas.

El aire acondicionado no refrescaba lo suficiente quizá por un problema del ventilador interno. Intentamos abrir de noche pero paradójicamente era molesto porque los aparatos que generan aire frío estaban justo abajo y hacían ruido. Nuestra estancia fue corta por que señalamos la incidencia a recepción el dia que nos fuimos. Nada que no tenga solución.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Lovely spotless hotel staff went above and beyond especially the reception staff got me a scooter and helped me alot nothing was an issue for them at all hotel was immaculate n smelt lovely room cleaned everyday fresh towels everyday absolutely 10 outta 10 I stayed in room 101 with my daughter just arrived home brilliant will be back

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026Location was very central to shops, restaurants and beside the beach. Food was incredible. The range was superb. Restaurant chef and staff were amazing. Pool Activities were good for children. Less than 10mins to Port Aventura and less than 15mins from the Reus Airport. We did not go to the main beach as it was mental- super busy. Overcrowded with thousands of people. We found a small cove which was quieter and more safe for families and children.
The main problem with this Hotel was the WiFi. Is was almost none existent. Very disappointing. Kept saying no WiFi or poor connection. Although the beds were made everyday and clean towels everyday The balcony was not brushed or mopped at all for the week. cleanliness of the rooms could be better. Under the beds were not cleaned when we arrived, and sinks and toilets and shower were not cleaned daily to an acceptable standard.

Piscina muy pequeña, la falta de cambio de sábanas en toda la estancia de 6 dias. Deberían mejorar la forma de hacer las camas, la verdad es que simplemente echaban la colcha para adelante y sin mas.. ni estiradas ni nada y almohadas colocadas al azar.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Das Buffet war klein aber fein. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, Stilles Wasser gab es beim Abendessen kosternfrei. Lage es Hotels ist Strand und Stadt nah (<5min); aber trotzdem relativ Ruhig. Wir haben von den anderen Hotels wenig mitbekommen. Die Zimmer haben einen eigenen Kühlschrank.
Es war Schade, dass es keine Sonnenschirme oder sonstiges Strandequipment (stühle/liegen, etc) zum Verleih gab.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Недалеко до пляжа. Небольшой такой"семейный отель." Много туристо из Англии. Еда неплохая.есть семейные номера, в которыц может поместиться 4 человека. Есть закрытый бассейн и сауна. В столовой есть вкусные блюдач но нужно выбирать.
В номере чачто в таулете был неприятный запах, как из канализации. Постельное белье старое, посеревшее. Еда в ресто ране на завтрак, обед и ужин не вся хорошая. Многие блюда переваренные или нейтральные на вкус. Выпечка плохая. Освещение в номере слабое
