Reviewed Sep 15, 2026The location is perfect -- right inside the main gate, with a staircase up to ramparts right in front of you, so you can get to the best views quickly! The breakfast was phenomenal, and the hospitality exceptional. They served us their homemade ginja, and warm pastel de nata with breakfast, so you don't have to buy those in town, and left little goodies in our room. We immediately felt welcomed and safe.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Das Óbidos Patio House liegt direkt an der Stadtmauer und ist ein niedliches kleines Haus, das liebevoll renoviert wurde. Altes und modernes wurde gut miteinander kombiniert. Es gibt ausreichend Sitz - und Ablagemöglichkeiten, wobei mir der Platz am Fenster besonders gut gefallen hat. Das Bad ist klein, aber fein. Das Frühstück gibt es bei schönem Wetter im kleinen Innenhof. Es gab jeden Tag frisches Rührei und Obst, dazu natürlich die üblichen Frühstücksbestandteile wie Brötchen, Croissants, Pastel de Natas, Wurst, Käse, Müsli, Joghurt. Alles sehr schön angerichtet. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Si trova in posizione centrale, ottima per vedere il castello e le mura. C'è un ampio parcheggio gratuito a circa 300 mt di distanza raggiungibile a piedi. Il proprietario è stato gentile e accogliente, dovevamo fare il check out con mezz'ora di anticipo ed è riuscito comunque a darci una colazione completa (sia dolce che salato). In camera era presente ogni comfort necessario, anche delle ciabatte, una barretta di cioccolato e della gingja. .

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Ficámos muito satisfeitos com a propriedade. Os proprietários são de uma simpatia imensa e fazem-nos sentir muito bem-vindos. O alojamento, apesar de pequeno, é muito acolhedor e confortável, além de extremamente limpo. O pequeno-almoço é muito rico e variado. A localização é fantástica, mesmo dentro das muralhas, e, apesar disso, é muito tranquila e silenciosa durante a noite. Recomendo vivamente!

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Die Lage in Obidos könnte nicht besser sein. Direkt an der Stadtmauer, unglaublich ruhig. Sehr schön gestaltetes kleines feines Haus mit den freundlichsten Gastgebern!! Wir kamen wegen Flugverspätung erst nach 21 Uhr an. Sehr freundliche Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin. Und dann hat uns der Gastgeber persönlich im Städtchen eingesammelt, weil wir das kleine Hotel nicht fanden. Das Frühstück wird frisch und üppig serviert. Wir fühlten uns wie zuhause. Danke!! Unbedingt mindestens zwei Nächte bleiben!!

I proprietari super gentili e la mattina ci hanno preparato una colazione davvero abbondante con un sacco di scelta. La posizione fantastica all'interno delle mura di Obidos con possibilità di parcheggio a pochi minuti a piedi.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Cecilia and Gilberto are the best and most generous hosts ever. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is fantastic. The home-made Portuguese tarts are better than the ones in Belem! The Patio House is very close to the main entrance of the town and the bus station. The rooms are kept extremely clean. We had a lovely stay.

In più, vista la situazione parcheggi drammatica, ci é stato consentito di lasciare l'auto proprio sotto la struttura in una zona cui l'accesso é consentito solo ai residenti. Camera carina, piccola ma per una notte é ok. Bagno piccolo ma con tutto il necessario. Propietari gentilissimi, disponibili per tutto e colazione top, molte cose preparate al momento per te, ti fanno sentire coccolato!

Beaucoup d’attention lors de notre arrivée avec le partage de la fameuse ginja avec notre hôte. La chambre est très cosy, très propre et joliment décorée. Et que dire du petit déjeuner taille XXL !!! Inutile de prévoir de manger le midi…. Un rapport qualité prix rarement vu !!!

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Gilberto and Cecilia are excellent hosts who give personal card and attention to all their guests. We were made to feel so welcome . The breakfast was so fresh and delicious! Especially Cecilia’s pasta de nata ! The old building is charming, beautifully kept and located in the heart of Obidos. Everything was spotlessly kept.
The rooms are quite small but then again adds to the character !

The property is brand new, spotless, and very comfortable. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. They helped us explore the city, shared great local tips, and even helped my family organize a birthday surprise for me, making me feel truly welcomed and at home. Reviewed Jul 9, 2026Prachtig klein (3 kamers) hotel op toplocatie. Zeer behulpzame eigenaren die ons onze fietsen in de patio lieten stallen. De kamers zijn niet groot maar heel erg sfeervol en ondanks dat je middenin het prachtige en toeristische deel binnen de stadsmuur verblijft, is het er heel rustig. Verder een heel uitgebreid ontbijt met lekkere broodjes, beleg, yoghurt soorten en vers fruit! Wij zouden hier meteen weer boeken!

Our hosts Gilbert and Cecilia went above and beyond to make our stay so perfect. It felt like a home away from home. We have seldom in all our travels experienced such warmth and hospitality. We will definitely be back.
We experienced nothing negative. If possible we would give more than 10 points.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026Lovely outside and in and the owners are absolutely fabulous. A small place with only 3 rooms all very nicely appointed and decorated. The location is excellent, very close to the large free parking just outside the walls. The city wall access steps are just outside your door for fantastic views. The Main Street with shops and restaurants and everything else is just less than 1 minute walk. The breakfast is plentiful and excellent and the breakfast area is so cute. The owners are very kind and lovely.

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026Nous avons passé une nuit dans cette chambre d'hôte qui est située dans le centre d'Obidos, un très beau petit village animé la journée et qui devient très calme le soir. L'accueil des hôtes est super, ils sont vraiment très gentils, mettent de l'eau à disposition et offrent de la liqueur de cerises typique d'Obidos. La chambre est très confortable avec des peignoirs, des tongs offertes, de l'eau, des fruits et des biscuits. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, avec du choix, il y a un petit buffet et le reste est servi à table. Une très bonne adresse pleine de charme!
La douche est un peu petite mais fonctionnelle, il y avait juste la douchette qui fuyait, ce n'était pas très agréable.

The breakfast was outstanding finished with a homemade Portuguese tart. Would highly recommend. Such a beautiful quaint town.

Reviewed Jun 6, 2026Für uns hat einfach alles gepasst. Wir wurden sehr herzlich und persönlich empfangen und haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Alles ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Leider konnten wir den wunderschönen Innenhof nicht zum Frühstücken nutzen , da es morgens zu kühl war.
