Beautiful property with lovely gardens and a nice pool. Very relaxing and quiet, perfect to disconnect. Very clean, everyone was very friendly. The room was quite big and the bed was enormous and very comfortable. Short walk to restaurants and the beach.

The first day we arrived the pool was way too warm.

Een prachtige plek. De kamers waren , rustig. Een prachtige tuin met mooi zwembad en heel vriendelijk personeel. Echt een oase van rust. Sfeervol en smaakvol, ook het ontbijt.

Niets. Ik ben een koud-water-zwemmer dus van mij had het water kouder gemogen.

Room and bathroom so nice and spacious. Air conditioning worked perfectly and was needed in the humid summer. The whole property is beautiful.

La struttura e’ meravigliosa e in perfetto stile messicano . Ha un giardino rigoglioso lussureggiante e tenuto in modo fantastico . La piscina fa da cornice . Tutto estremamente rilassante ma a pochi passi dalla via dei ristoranti , bar, caffetterie e supermercati e dalle spiagge come Carrizzalillo o Manzanillo o Playa Coral .

L’accueil chaleureux, le jardin extraordinaire, la chambre spacieuse et le lit très confortable, le petit-déjeuner délicieux, la situation calme, proche de la plage de Carrizalillo.

One of the rooms had a little adjacent pool which was refreshing. The gardens are beautiful with a large diversity of vegetation, maintained with great care. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Some rooms had construction noise from adjacent premises. The abundant garden attracts mosquitos, but that is not the fault of the property - that’s a downside of abundant nature. The staff is operating with a “line of command”with makes for slow reactivity.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The outdoor area and pool are absolutely beautiful, with stunning flowers and lush plants everywhere. It is the most beautiful hotel garden and outdoor area we have ever seen. The service was excellent as well. We were given a complimentary upgrade to one of the suites because the hotel was not fully booked when we checked in, and we absolutely loved the spacious room. It had a kitchen, a refrigerator, a large balcony, and plenty of space to relax. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you so much for making our visit so enjoyable. The hotel is also within walking distance of several beautiful beaches and many great restaurants, making it a perfect location. More busier areas for nightlife are easily accessible by taxi. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want a more relaxing stay outside the more busy area of the center or La punta.

Muy buena alberca y los jardines con mucha vegetación. Muy buen servicio del personal . A poca distancia del la Playa Carrizalillo . Que las habitaciones contaban con un frigobar. Las camas eran confortables y la habitación en general tenia bonitos detalles rústicos. El Bar tenia muy buen servicio y precio razonables.

Algunos dias el Aire Acondicionado aun que lo poníamos con baja temperatura , no enfriaba lo suficiente . La señal de wifi a veces era intermitente . También había una área en construcción o reparación y los trabajadores ponían una radiola con alto volumen , algo molesto, adicional al ruido que generan los trabajos .

El alojamiento está muy bien equipado. El aire acondicionado fue una gran ventaja. Es espacioso. Tuvimos una estancia excelente. La piscina y los jardines son increíbles.

Fenomenalne miejsce. Czysto, wygodnie, bezpiecznie. Czysta woda w basenie. Basen odpowiedniej wielkości, by w nim pływać. Zacieniony przez drugą połowę dnia. Hotel daje drugi zestaw ręczników do kąpieli w basenie. Możliwość zostawienia bagaży i wzięcia prysznica juz po check out. Bardzo miły personel. Pomocny przy zamawianiu taksówek na dalsze dystanse.

We absolutely loved our stay at the place. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. It felt like a little jungle inside with multitude of palms, trees, flowers and anything in between. The room was cozy with comfortable beds and anything we needed. Pool was very nice to cool down during the hot afternoons.

Suites La Hacienda was such a magical escape. The grounds are beautifully kept. There are amazing restaurants around the corner and the beach was less then a 10 min walk.

There is construction going on pretty much all day. It didn’t take away from the stay but we didn’t spend a lot of time in our room.

One of the best stay I ever had anywhere ! Staff is really great, the property is beautiful, everything is clean and tidy. Rooms are large and you have everything needed to have a great stay. The bar/restaurant is good and open nearly all day. The pool was really nice with the warmth, and if you prefer to go see the ocean, it is roughly 10 minutes away by walk with a nice beach not too crowded. Great restaurants nearby as well. Would definitely recommend to stay at the Hacienda !

This is an absolutely magical hotel, with a beautiful pool, amazing trees and plants throughout the courtyard, and gorgeous, comfortable and spotless rooms. The staff were so kind, too, and everything from the bar was delicious.

This is a hidden gem. The grounds are amazing! Upon arrival, we were handled promptly and professionally. The room was comfortable and clean. Room was in more secluded area and it offered lots of privacy. Can’t say enough good about this place. You’ll love it! Walking distance from restaurants and beaches. Try not to use the taxis!

The pool area is lovely and the hotel itself is very pretty. Location is great.

Generally pleasant, staff are friendly and happy to respond to questions. Space is nice and the location is at least away from the main road which is pretty grim. Fresh water available always.

There is a large construction site directly next door and this ultimately was a huge difference to the stay. They are loud and operate from around 7am until 10pm with a lot of noise, shouting and music. They can also see directly into the bathrooms on one side. I would very much avoid the hotel until that is completed.

Staff were friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Great pool with surrounding plants and trees giving the place a tropical feel. Our room was a great size and bed was huge. Location is very peaceful and can walk for breakfast venues or to the nearest beaches (which are stunning) in approx. 10 minutes.

Situated in Rinconada it was very close the surfing school and beach that we were enrolled at.

The water in the shower would seep out into the bathroom since there was no door.

Beautiful gardens, lovely pool, peaceful yet walking distance to everything we needed. We saw a hummingbird drinking from the ornamental fountain one morning and the roof terrace that came with out room was a magical place to watch the sunset.

The garden area was stunning and the walk to the smaller beach was convenient.

Beautiful property. It felt like an oasis with the lush landscaping in the public areas. My room was very comfortable. Staff was attentive and helpful. They offered much of the same tours as, say, TripAdvisor but a lower cost. I was tired from traveling and I appreciated the availability to relax by the pool.

The nearest beaches require descending down many steps and this was pointed out in the hotel description. That is not the function or fault of the hotel (and there are taxis). Nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would strongly recommend it.

Beautiful grounds and very helpful staff

Small hotel, it manages to create a sense of seclusion, well located in walking distance to several beaches, lovely pool and plantings, very attentive staff, easy walk to snacks, restaurants, pharmacy and mini-groceries.

The kitchenette was erratically furnished with knives, tableware and pots, skillets, etc. Of course, when we made specific requests (“small spoons and a colander, please”) management produced them.

The room, garden and pool were amazing. The breakfast was great.

This is a little gem of a Boutique Hotel. It is a couple blocks from a main street in the Rinconada neighborhood where some of the best restaurants and beaches in Puerto Escondido are. The premises are beautiful with luscious gardens and a magnifident pool that frankly you wouldn't mind forfeiting the beach over it! The owners live on the premises and have created a beautiful oasis. All the staff were super helpful and friendly. Our upstairs room had a wonderful view of the ocean and a private terrace to enjoy the sunset. The room was spacious, clean, with hot water and comfortable bedding. The hotel offers a light breakfast menu and there is a bar during the day where you can get cocktails, beer and wine while lounging by the pool. We loved our stay and will pick again when in Puerto Escondido.

(King with sea view) Friendly staff Very comfortable, I slept well here Great location in the quieter part of town with amazing beaches The biggest Pina Coladas We were on floor 2, the view was a mix of pool, trees and a bit of sea and it was ideal as we didn't realise how many stairs there would be, floor 3 and above would have been too much for my knees.

Pre trip communication was quick but when we asked them to book a taxi from the airport they didn't see my message until the next day when we had arrived. The taxi queue at the airport is very long. I recommend asking the hotel several days in advance to book a car for you to guarantee a quick pick up, it's worth the extra 50mxd. We had to ask for our room to be serviced on the second day as it was missed. This meant that we ended up unable to use our room for an hour and sat at the pool waiting without access to our swimwear. All hotels, especially hotels by the sea, should stop supplying miniature products in plastic packaging. Refillable bottles of shampoo and soap are much better for the planet.

It was just beautiful! The architecture is stunning. The layout of the poolside great for families and if you prefer they have an Adult only pool. The staff are incredibly happy and helpful! We had the breakfast included and well worth it. Great selection from Western to Mexican varieties. The lady on there grill was an expert handling so many with omelettes or plain over easy eggs. Everything was so fresh!! Lots of activities planned for the guests. They offered a Mexican night for all guests to attend, including excellent entertainment. The beach is so swimmable and the beach service amazing. From towels to beverages. A medium walk takes you to the golf course, also tennis and pickleball courts. Our week there was worth every penny!

If you were not great at walking and stairs it might be a struggle. However I’m sure they would assist as they had golf carts to get people from A to B.

Location is amazing. We loved the quieter neighbourhood we were in with a short walk to busier bars and restaurants if desired. Short distance to Carrizalillo beach. The hotel grounds are beautiful and lush with a great pool and lots of seating in the sun or shade. The staff were all super wonderful and very helpful. Definitely would stay here again!

The shower never got fully hot. Beds could be updated, but was not an issue sleep wise.

This hotel is located in the lovely Rincona neighborhood, is in the Spanish colonial style with a gorgeous courtly garden with a swimming pool. The garden, for us, was the highlight and appears to be an unusual feature in Puerto Escondido. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. The hotel is within easy walking distance from many good restaurants and beaches. We especially enjoyed snorkeling at La Coral beach.

The only issue, which wasn’t a big deal, was that the room cleaning sometimes occurred late in the day. All of the nearby beaches require hiking down many stairs or switchbacks.

Como única área de oportunidad, el internet no siempre tiene buena señal dentro de las habitaciones, pero fuera de eso, la experiencia fue muy buena.

L'hôtel est situé à environ trois cents mètres en retrait du boulevard Benito Juarez où se trouvent les restaurants et autres magasins, de ce fait l'endroit est calme. Le personnel est top, le gérant parle un peu le français. Excepté la météo un peu trop chaude, nous y avons passé un agréable séjour.

Everything! This hotel is superb! You will love it if you like smaller family run places that are not corporate. Everyone is very friendly - with a big shout out in particular to Luis and Yair who were so welcoming and helpful. The gardens are gorgeous and the beds very comfortable. And the location is perfect for lovely restaurants and quiet beaches. I wanted to move in!

Beautiful garden with pool, perfect for relaxing. Great location, close to the beach for swimming and learning to surf and to restaurants. Beautiful, good sized and clean rooms and very friendly staff.

Our room was a little bit dark due to small windows but it was nice anyway.

El calor de la habitación ( en febrero, invierno teorico ) que tenia un aire acondicionado ruidoso y nada eficaz. Calor y ruido son incompatibles con un buen descanso.

An oasis of calm. We really enjoyed the little courtyards around the property, the fantastic swimming pool which is bigger than it looks in the photos, and the bar. Well located in a great part of town which means we walked everywhere.

The hotel coordinated a driver from the airport. As soon as we arrived, we felt really well accommodated. Luis and the staff were very helpful and provided a beautiful room. My wife and I found it really close to restaurants and a relaxing and safe neighborhood. The cleaning staff were really friendly and did a great job. We will plan to return when we come back.

There were no issues with our stay. If you have mobility issues staying on the lower level would be easier. Since we are a young couple there were no problem with stairs.

The place is excellent. Not only clean but beautifully decorated. The room is really comfortable. The best us the attention of the owners they really make sure you are comfortable and take care of you at all moment

Location was perfect. Central and close to swimming beaches. Short cab rides to everything else. Walking distance to most things we needed!

Room 9 was nice and quiet. Top floor with a great balcony. Had some water come in on the bed from rain seeping through the roof. Only rained one night. Cockroaches exist! I put the toaster in the freezer so they kind of took care of some of that. But it’s tropical, gotta expect bugs. Doors and windows don’t seal completely so whatever creeps in…

Lovely garden and pool. Good size bedroom and tasteful decorations. Cleaning done every day.

Great staff, pool, grounds, location. 5 minute walk to many restaurants and beaches relatively nearby. Good hot water too. They are expanding with another 20 units next door in the same style so some noise but it did not really bother us.

A charming and tranquil place. Loved the garden and pool area. Such authentic Mexican character.

Our 2nd stay and will continue to come back. You are welcomed with a cold wine glass of non-alcohol hibiscus flower drink! The owner was so kind and the staff exceptional. Our room gorgeous as before. The large pool was set in a lush garden. Lots of chaise lounges and tables. We love the Suites La Hacienda and their sweet kitties Niñon and Coco. A few block walk to the Main Street, restaurants, pharmacy and beach a hike down steps.. but worth it!

Good location and beautiful grounds. The large swimming pool area is nicely landscaped with beautiful native tropical plants. There are many restaurants for all budgets within a 5 - 10 minute walk. The staff are friendly and attentive. They booked our taxi to the airport. Highly recommend staying at this quaint Mexican style hotel.

We booked a suite with a kitchen, which was stocked with coffee, bottled water, paper products and dish soap. However, it would have been nice to have some basics like salt, pepper and oil for cooking.
