Guests wishing to enjoy the atmosphere of Athens are willing to pay extra for a view. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in this instance; although I paid for a Superior Double Room with a view of the Acropolis, I was accommodated in a small room that did not correspond the description.

La gerente fue increíblemente amable y siempre estuvo dispuesta a ayudar con recomendaciones y cualquier necesidad durante nuestra estancia. La habitación era cómoda, limpia y el hotel tiene un ambiente agradable. Sin duda volveríamos.
El único aspecto a mejorar es el olor a cigarrillo en el lobby y el restaurante. Fuera de eso, nuestra experiencia fue muy buena.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026The hotel has an amazing location, very close to the Acropolis site, as well as the lovely Plaka neighborhood. It is a few minutes walking distance from the M3 metro station, and this means it is very accessible to ATH. The WiFi in the room is very powerful. Location-wise it is worth the money.
The room is rather small (we asked for a room for 4) and weirdly oriented, like a long and narrow "bunkhouse". The pvc floor was fixed with strange patches, that give a very cheap feeling. There is no parking whatsoever, so don't have a car with you! The lobby is beautiful, but had a very strong smoking odor in it.

Konumu harika tüm gezilecek yere yürüme mesafesinde,hotelden çıkınca sag yapıp sonra ilk sola dönüce meşhur caddeye çıkıyorsunuz hemen, meşhur Monastiraki caddesi yürüyerek 5-10 dakika.Hotele metro ile ulaşım çok kolay Monastiraki metro istasyonundan indiginizde hotele yürüme meaafesi en fazla 10 dk yürürsünüz.Konum konusunda kalabileceginiz en iyi hotel. Buzdolabında ücretsiz içicekler bırakılmıştı.Çalışanlar ilgiliydi, resepsiyon 24 saat açık.Sahibi bayan Anasi hanım çok iyi bir evsahibi bizzat herşey ile kendisi ilgileniyor. Tekrar Atinaya gitsem yine bu hotelde kalırım konumundan dolayı
Şöyle bir şey var bana biiraz garip geldi,balkonlu oda tuttum yani teraslı, terasın yan oda ile ortak kullanım oldugu söylenmedi keşke hotele girişte söyleselerdi, akşam saat on bir gibi odaya geldim balkona çıkayım dedim, balkonda oturan bir adam görünce zifiri karanlıkta aklım çıktı o an korkudan ölebilirdim, tek başıma bayan olarak kaldıgım için çok korktum, biliyorum herkes oraya gezmek için gidiyor kimse kötü niyetli degil ama balkonda birisi olacagını nerden bilebilirdiim, tabi ben ondan sonra gece balkona hiç çıkmadım sabaha kadar kafamda kötü senaryolar kurup durdum :) balkonda her iki oda için iki masa var keşke balkonların arasını kapatsalar. Odada lavabonun altında birisi tırnaklarını kesmiş ve tırnakları lavabonun altında havlunun yanında duruyordu buda hoş bi durum olmadı benim için.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Rooms were really clean and very functional. Staff were wonderful, really helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Location was excellent and very safe, even late at night when walking home alone. I didn't have breakfast but it looked nice and the customers seemed satisfied.
No negatives at all, everything was perfect. Rooms aren't massive but you don't need that (or expect that) as you have an excellent location and should be making the most of spending time in the city!

The location of the hotel is fantastic: on a quiet street, but meters away from everything. We highly recommend the hotel and we will stay there again next time we visit Athens.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026The location could not have been better! Extremely central to everything we wanted to see, lots of amazing food and historical sites. This was by far the easiest it has ever been to get to and from the airport as the hotel is a 3 minute walk from the Monastiraki train station which has a direct line. The staff was incredibly with providing recommendations, responsive via Whatsapp, and just overall friendly. The room was spacious enough for two people with a small balcony that had a nice view of some of the city, was very clean. It's maybe a little dated, but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Nothing particularly! We were on the fifth floor and it could be a bit noisy on certain evenings. Our last night (a Saturday) was particularly loud, which only mattered because we were leaving early Sunday morning but it didn't really bother us. If you were on a lower floor, it might matter more.

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026Anasa Hotel exceeded our expectations, staff were amazing and extremely helpful. They made a cake for my husband’s birthday which was so thoughtful of them. Location is perfect if you want to be staying in the middle of the city with all the buzz. Loved the fact that the hotel was in a quiet street somehow. Overall everything was perfect. Would definitely go again!

The location was very noisy well into the night. A nightclub was playing loud music. After midnight we asked for ear plugs. The earplugs helped.

Reviewed May 24, 2026Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage, und das Personal war ausnehmend freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Terrasse mit kleinem Blick auf die Akropolis ist ebenfalls toll.
Teils die Wände, teils die Haken: Viele Dinge verzeichnen deutliche Gebrauchsspuren und gehören repariert und ersetzt. Die mangelnden Haken, die bei wenig Berührung sogar aus der Wand brechen, verunmöglichen leider ein Aufhängen des Badetuchs. Zudem sollte das Türschloss überprüft werden, hat dieses doch teils nicht richtig geöffnet bzw. abgeschlossen.

Alors que j'avais retenu une chambre supérieure pour 4 nuits j'ai eu pour la 1ère nuit une chambre basique sans en connaître la raison et sans compensation financière. Je dois y retourner pour une 5ème nuit le 26 Mai.

Reviewed May 18, 2026We had a very pleasant stay at Anasa Hotel Athens. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was a nice size, and everything was very clean with great amenities provided. The staff were amazing friendly, helpful, and check-in was quick and easy. What really stood out was the communication via WhatsApp, which made the whole experience feel much more personal and convenient. The team also gave us lots of great recommendations for places to visit and eat in Athens. The location is fantastic, very central and convenient, and the hotel reception area looks very stylish and welcoming. After check-out, we were also able to store our luggage, which was very helpful.
The area can be quite loud at night because of the nearby bars, so lighter sleepers may struggle a little with the noise. Also, the enclosed shower tends to let water spill onto the bathroom floor if not used carefully.
