本当に素敵な滞在でした！　オーナーのシシラさんは素晴らしくホスピタリティあふれる男性です。毎朝、新鮮なココナッツジュースや甘くて美味しいスイカを届けてくれたり、伝統的なスリランカカレーの朝食を作ってくれたりしました。また、慈愛あふれる笑顔で「1か月でも2か月でも、好きなだけ泊まりなさいよ」と、明るく声をかけてくださるなど温かく接してくれました。旅人がくつろげる居心地の良い宿でみなさまにおすすめです。 部屋にはキッチンとバスルームが付いていて、生活しやすい環境が整っています。広めの机といすもあります。 ロケーションも抜群で、ビーチやウェリガマの中心街まで徒歩圏内。大通りに出ればスーパーやローカルカフェもあり、とても便利でした。長期でウェリガマに滞在する人や、1か月ほどノマド生活をしたい人には特におすすめだと思います。 あと、Wi-Fiが速いです（Down 27.7Mbps／Up 42.9Mbps）！　実は近くの別の宿に滞在していたのですが、Wi-Fiが弱く仕事にならず困っていました。こちらに移ってからは快適にWork from homeができ、本当に助けられました。 素晴らしい滞在をありがとうございました！　またウェリガマを訪れる際は、ぜひ泊まりたいです！ Bohoma Sthuthi 　බොහෝම ස්තූතියි.

Location is great short walk to the beach, very affordable and extremely comfortable bed. Great host who’s super accommodating.

길옆이라서 교통소음이 좀 있어서 예민한 사람은 신경이 쓰였다.

Nice for a long stay, the room is spacious and well equipped. The kitchen is also usefull if you don't want to eat at the restaurant for every meal. There is a big supermarket 10 min by foot. My room was next to the road so be sure to bring earplugs and that's ok, less trafic by night.

Good to know, the kitchen didn't have gaz. They showed me where the hot water worked, but never had it. Thus, I didn’t ask as I was ok with cold water (weather was hot).

Host is lovely, brought us watermelon and coconuts every morning! WiFi is also very good and only 5-10 minutes walk from the beach

One of the best stay in Sri Lanka! The owner is the friendliest and the most generous person ever and the room is spacious and the bed is big and comfortable! Also the ceiling fan and regular floor fan combo makes sure you can cool the room down! Will definitely come back when in Weligama

Nice 2 bedroom apartment with kitchenette. Well located in Weligama overlooking the river. Sisira was kind host offering welcome drinks and Sri Lankan breakfasts.

The host’s exceptional hospitality was the best about my stay. The accommodations are very comfortable, and considering the price and the included air conditioning, the value is unbeatable.

Host was the nicest. Fresh coconuts and water bottles whenever I walked in and when I asked where I should do my laundry he took it and had it back clean in 5 hours.

Some small windows couldn’t be covered and let light in in the morning, and there was some noise from the street. No issues if you don’t want to sleep late. 3 showers in the bathroom (yep), one with hot water but this one lacked pressure.

De gastheer Sisira is geweldig! Alleen hiervoor moet je langskomen. Hij serveert zomaar ontbijt, tussendoortjes, lunch, diner,… Zonder extra te betalen. Ik kon ook mits een kleine betaling veranderen naar een kamer met airco. Echt een geweldige plek!

Het is niet super proper, maar dat is slechts een detail als je de gastvrijheid van Sisira ervaart

Uncle Sisira is an amazing host of the amazing property in Weligama! I have stayed in many guest houses in Sri Lanka but his hospitality and kindness, in addition to the well-equipped studio apartment exceeded my expectations. Where else can you get a free tasty breakfast with a variety of fresh fruits and free laundry ?! The location is fantastic, close to the beach, supermarket, fruit/veggie shops, dentist, pharmacy, 24h hospital, clothing, restaurants...you name it! The studio apartment is pretty modern, clean and has everything you need so you just need to bring yourself, and if you need anything, uncle Sisira is always there to help you! I felt very safe and comfortable during my stay. The Internet works well should you need to work from home. I highly recommend the Villa Don Williams to every tourist (including a single female tourist like myself) and I cannot wait to come back! Bohoma stutyi!!

I live in there for three nights.The location is only a 10-minute walk from the main road .The host is very nice and welcoming. He prepared bottle water, coconut and watermelon for me every day and introduced me the places to rent bikes. This is the good place to stay in Weligama

We LOVED our stay here. The room was amazing and such good value for money. The kitchen was also great and well equipped! The host was soo lovely and welcoming and he made up breakfast every morning. He even went to the shops to buy us milk and eggs without us asking as he could see the empty boxes outside the room. 10/10 recommend🔥

The room was lovely, big comfortable bed, good showed and kitchenette. The villa was in a great location, close by to the beach and restaurants but not right next to the busy streets. Our host was so great, very accommodating and always there to help. Made us a great breakfast and was very friendly!

I had a very good time here. Mr. Sisira is super friendly and helpful and was always in a good mood. He did my laundry for free and brought me water and something to eat every day. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was large and had hot water. I only wanted to stay 4 days but ended up staying 9 because I felt very comfortable. Thank you very much for everything!

We arrived from the eastern part of Srilanka to attend a wedding in weligama. Very calm and quiet location with excellent hospitality was experienced by us. Our stay was only three days but treated us with very friendly manner. Highly recommend for any one looking for a stay in weligama

The apartment was big and centrally located.

It is advertised as having a/c however there is none. Ventilators are open and cannot be closed therefore lots of bugs come in. The place was not dirty but not super clean. Only used soap provided.

Very comfortable stay with comfy beds, AC and hot shower. Owner is very sweet and always making sure you have everything you need, greeting me with fresh coconut everyday! I felt spoiled! :) Would 100% recommend.

The location and the ambience were really great. The incredibly nice owner, who provided us with coconuts, fruit, hoppers and water, rounded off the greatness of the accommodation. We'd be happy to stay here again and highly recommend it!

Without a doubt the best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka! Fantastic and friendly hosting with a huge breakfast + extras served every day (you will not go hungry here). The accommodation is only a stones throw from the beach yet far away from the hustle of the main road running through weligama. If you enjoy watching wildlife I would suggest booking a room with a river view balcony to see many birds at sunrise/sunset. I really cannot recommend this place enough!

If you go to Weligama: STAY HERE If this could get 6/5 stars, it would!!! We have been traveling for 1 month i Sri Lanka, and this has been the most perfect stay for us for so many reasons: (We stayed in a room on the first floor) Location: just 10 min walk to the beach! Perfect! AND has a very nice view of the river and a nice terrace Room was nice, good AC, comfortable beds (good pillows for once!) and we LOVED that there was a kitchen (equipped with everything we needed) The WiFi is also really good! And the service. Wow. This man is the kindest person in Weligama. With his generosity and flexibility we had the most amazing stay, and I can’t thank enough for that! Him (and his lovely daughter) made sure we had a number to contact him anytime with any needs. The food was so good, and honestly a 11/10 stay. Thank you!!

The best place to stay in weligama! The host is the nicest person, taking care of everything, always bring us food and water and help with all we need. The house was everything we needed, a great kitchen, comfortable beds and hot water in the shower!!!!

It was a short walk to the beach but not in the thick of the bright lights. Easy access to the town and plenty of restaurants. Recommend Fish point amazing seafood.

Road a bit noisy

Where to start? I was a bit hesitant when I booked this place, because the reviews seemed too good to be true, but they are not. This place is wonderful. Our host was an incredibly kind natured man, never stopped smiling, worked hard all day to keep his guests happy. I stayed with my boyfriend for a month, in the none AC Room. He’s from Quebec and he can’t cope with being too hot, but he was fine.. there are two powerful fans that do a great job. There is a kitchen, huge fridge, we ate at home every night which was a luxury after months of travel. The bed! The bed is the best bed I’ve slept in for over a year I’m not kidding. It’s huge and comfy and I felt like a queen. The place is on a quieter road near to the beach and the supermarket, 1 minute from a convenience store. The view from the balcony and garden of the river is so beautiful. I would love to thank our new friend, our amazing host for taking care of us for a month and making us feel like family. Everyday he surprises us with fruits and Sri Lankan delicious breakfasts, bottles of water.. coconuts when we were hot in the afternoon. Thankyou with all my heart. We are so grateful to find your place.. after I spent many years returning to Sri Lanka, this is my favoriye accommodation by far. See you next year!!

We stayed here for 7 nights and it was the perfect place! Extremely close to the beach and lots of restaurants but off the main busy road. The room had lots of kitchen amenities (fridge,gas cooktop, kettle) and we always had hot water for a shower. Sisira, the host, unexpectedly provided sri lankan breakfast, fruits and water bottles every day. He was an amazing host and I would 100% stay here again! Incredible value for money. I also recommend a balcony room to watch the river, especially for sunset!

Was a good stay, very nice host

Sisira gave us incredible hospitality, and looked after us so well. We got breakfast every morning, full of fruit and traditional sri lankan curry, and egg. And one day when we had breakfast out, he cooked us dinner instead! Him and his daughter are kind and welcoming, really making you feel like you’re at home - so much that we extended our stay. Bikes free to rent, laundry no charges too. Two fans in room for non-AC one was plenty, fridge so we could keep snacks/juice in, huge bathroom, kettle. Plus location is lovely, a short 5 min walk from supermarket/beach/restaurants and more peaceful and felt less touristy. 100% reccomend booking your stay here if you are staying in Weligama.

Our host was the nicest person on this incredible island. Every day, he surprised us by little attentions as fruit, breakfast, laundry services, etc. The place is well located but it’s better to rent a scooter and feel free. Really, it’s a secret place, closed to everything but away from noisy center ! Tips: don’t forget to spend time on the balcony, nature is living there ! We saw crocodile, monkeys…

The friendliness of the host was unbelievable. Every day he made sure I was ok and brought fruits. Always had a smile on his face. The room was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was great. The wifi was pretty strong too. About a few min walk from the main road. Overall this place checked all the boxes, truly a hidden gem.

The staff was AMAZING!! By far the BEST service I've ever received. He went above and beyond, he even came in to switch my room at 11pm so I could have AC. He fixed my watch for me and even ran me around to get to the bank. I can't say enough good things about the man. The rooms are clean, AC works great and the lunch he fixed for me was wonderful. I feel I've made a friend for life, I can't wait to return!

It's a really nice place to stay when you want to hide a bit from loud music near the main street. 10 minutes walk or 1 minute ride by bike from the beach. Beautiful view on the river. Supercool and helpful host Sisira with everyday rice and curry lunches! :)

We had such a nice stay at Villa Don Williams. The location is great and it's close to both beach and grocery shop. The little garden was a gem! The room is super clean and the kitchen had all the facilities we needed. The host is super friendly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a nice stay. Best place we have stayed so far.

There were some dishes for cooking, great location and quiet area. There weren’t any mosquitoes nevertheless there is a river.

I had a fantastic stay at this accommodation in Weligama. The place is clean, well-maintained, and offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere next to the river. The internet speed was impressive, running smoothly without any interruptions. Its central location in the heart of the city made it easy to access supermarkets, food courts, and the beach, all within a short distance. Overall, a highly satisfying experience, perfect for both work and leisure travel.

Really big and spacious room, even a fully prepared apartment with all the necessities — a gas stove, a rice cooker, the dishes, a big fridge in your own kitchen; giant bed, a hanger and a table in the room. Also there are two showers — hot and cold and the bathroom is also as spacious as my whole tiny previous room. The place is located by the river, in up to 10 minutes by walk to everything — fruit shop, cafes, food city, the beach with surf schools etc. So it’s very easy to get everywhere, the neighborhood is absolutely safe with calm doggies on your way. I don’t know how, but with 24/7 opened top windows I had only 1 or 2 occasional mosquitoes within 8 nights and could easily sleep without canopy. As for the host — he is a super nice, friendly person who also changed a trash can every day and supplied me with fresh fruits and buns. This is the first place of that price where I have linens and towels changing. And yes, the place was super clean.
