Maca Bana

The view from the Paw Paw villa was amazing.

There is no walking path/stairs from the villas to the restaurant. The pool looked very dirty to the point I wouldn’t go in, very cloudy water.

The location was lovely and the view from the Pawpaw Villa was great. The Aquarium Restuarant was a great dinner spot!

Unfortunately, the hot tub didn’t seem to get hot but the pool was very nice.

- We stayed at Mango Villa, which was spacious with excellent views. The photos do not do the villa justice! - Location to Magazine Beach, a beautiful beach with very few other people - it's almost your own private beach - The Aquarium Restaurant was excellent for dinner or a snack - Having a driver available to take us to and from Maca Bana - thanks Chris! - Despite its proximity to the airport you cannot hear any planes. We were concerned about this before we arrived but it wasn't a factor at all.

Best seaside view , villa was fully stocked & remarkably clean. The aquarium restaurant nearby.

Bathroom sink & shower clog easily

Truly wonderful island vibe with incredible views. Breakfast items already in the refrigerator was an excellent touch. Very close to the airport, but resort still felt secluded. Pool was awesome. Hot tub didn't seem to work well and didn't use it. Walk to beach was rather steep but doable. The Aquarium restaurant(on-site) was exceptional and recommend reservations for best seating!! Highly recommend the Mango villa! Family of four very comfortable. Staff were extremely kind and attentive!! Bring your snorkel gear.

Hot tub not in working order. Being from the USA, driving around the island was a challenge!!

The view is amazing. It is peaceful, calming. The staff are excellent and treated us well.

There was some mosquitoes but that's the biggest issue.

Loved everything...Joanne was wondeful and kind she did an excellent job in ensuring we had a great time... thx Joanne for all your help...you are a great asset to your employer. The place is fantastic, nice clean hot tub and fantastic view....will definitely be back....my husband and i loved it so much

The AC could be a little cooler

Terrific room and amazing view. The restaurant was also very good.

The pool was not large and the restaurant service was a little on the slow side, but not a big deal.

The location and accommodations were outstanding, and the restaurant was great also. Enjoying amazing views from our villa hammock, lounges, and hot tub was incredibly relaxing, and the whole place is steps from the beach. Seeing Oreo (the dog) regularly was a surprising treat that helped when our family was missing our pets back at home.

They could have provided more local and interesting breakfast foods in the villa. For example, we eat apples every day at home in the US, so different fruits would have been nice. Also, having some new breakfast foods supplied throughout our stay would have been nice.

The aquarium was an excellent restaurant everything we order was great.

Little run down and some of the staff was rude most of the staff was awesome though.

The view was spectacular. We had a large window in front of our bed and could see the clouds over the rain forest when we awoke each morning, a lovely sight. We had our own private entry area and patio with nice lounge chairs and a small table with chairs were we could drink our coffee and read the paper every morning. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need.

Joanne in front desk was super friendly, accommodating and amazing. thank you for your amazing personality. I also loved the fruit trees all around the property.

The management of the resort should consider the installation of an Air-conditioner at the living/kitchen areas of The Cherry Villa

Love, love, loved the villas, the food at the restaurant (The Aquarium), and most definitely the staff!

The location was not close (within walking distance) to other restaurants, grocery or convenience stores

The hill going down to the river restaurant requires a major hiking stick.

It is in a good location, close to the airport and beach. There is a great restaurant at the location."Aquarium" on the property. the staff is very polite and kind and accommodating.
