Reviewed Jul 9, 2026Honestly this place was amazing. Beautiful outlook the view was amazing. The property was spotlessly clean with everything we could want or need. So stylish and the most beautiful art, a number of pieces I saw in the local shops. Wine and chocolates were a lovely touch. We just can’t fault it. Would love to come back in the summer. Peaceful and beautiful 💕💕💕

Reviewed Jul 22, 2025We spent a week here for our winter rest and it did not disappoint, despite variable weather conditions. The stated description matched the reality - a little rare these days! The apartment was 5-stars - exceptional, great layout, modern with up-to-date appliances and furnishings, and very comfortable. Sparkling clean, with full kitchen (except a microwave) and laundry facilities. Very quiet with a terrific view out to the harbour and the setting sun, with large well appointed deck to soak in the view and the activity on the wharf. Ours was a winter trip just for rest so the wharf was relatively quiet at this time of year which suited us - summer probably would not be. Regardless, the apartment itself was very quiet. The location, adjacent to the Raglan wharf, was perfect, with a great eatery right next door. The host, Nic, was awesome too - nice little welcome touches greeted us upon arrival and friendly communication. We had the apartment completely to ourselves without host interaction which we enjoyed. We cannot fault this accommodation choice, and we’ll certainly be back again, probably regularly.

Cannot fault the Boatshed, highly recommend! Hosts were super friendly and helpful.

Reviewed Mar 11, 2025The Boatshed is one of the most gorgeous places we have stayed in. We would not hesitate to stay here again and have been telling everyone about it since! The bed is extremely comfortable and large!! We loved sitting out on the balcony drinking our morning coffee, and in the evenings, watching the sunset and having a glass of wine. The apartment has been well thought out and designed to be modern but very practical, and the hosts generously gave us a lovely bottle of wine to enjoy along with some chocolates. THANKYOU!

Reviewed Jan 16, 2025We booked the boat shed as a treat for our final destination when travelling for 6 weeks around New Zealand. It was the best decision we made as it was absolutely beautiful. We loved everything about it. The location, overlooking the water in amazing Raglan, was stunning. The large outside space with sun loungers and super comfy seating was perfect for the beautiful sunshine we had whilst we were there. The bed and bedding were so comfortable and luxurious, as was the bathroom. Shower was the best I’ve ever experienced. The kitchen was fab and living area had everything you need….great sofa! As other travellers have said, there isn’t anything the owners haven’t thought of. I loved the whole feel of the place…the arched ceilings decorated with wood panelling, shutters, lovely white and blue beachy decor and just super spacious throughout. If you are planning a trip to Raglan, stay here!!!

The house had everything we needed and it was nice and warm & light. Some lovely welcome touches which were really appreciated. It's a short walk in to town where we had some lovely meals too.

The accommodation was amazing, Nic and Brett have thought of everything you could need for a short stay. Stylish and relaxed all at once! The view of the inlet from the accommodation is stunning, The location was fantastic - just across the road from the wharf and a very short walk to town past some great pottery/art shops..
