Reviewed May 3, 2026Very centrally located & only a short stroll from all of the shops/cafes and beach. The place was small but had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. We met the friendly host during our stay & also received bonus visits from Sootie the cat who liked to lounge outside the cabin. The views from the deck were absolutely stunning & it was a very peaceful stay.
Nowhere to hang up any clothes/coats as it’s a very small cabin; albeit not a major issue for us as we were there for a short visit.

Our only negative- there was no real cooking facilities - a combination oven/ microwave could sit on top of the fridge, and would make a big difference. Fortunately, we could afford to eat out every meal, even although we brought our own food, which we couldn’t cook. Not all guests may be as fortunate as us, to afford to eat out every meal.

Easy walk to town and surrounds. The cabin was very well presented, all items reuired for our stay, clean, all linen fresh and crisp. The bed was very comfortable and we slept so well. When it was raining the Cabin needs a roof over the deck so rain doesn't get inside wet and shoes could be left outside.

It was very small. It was hard to fit our suitcases inside. It might be nice to have spaces just to put suitcases. Nowhere to just sit unless you went out on the patio.

Entrance (a bit strange steep in front of the gate) No roof deck outside and shoes boxes (hard to get in without the roof above the deck and shoes boxes that leave wet shoes in a heavy raining day) Someday change to a smaller bed and set up a tiny chair &table might be good or comfortable for the guests?
