Good location , close to the center of Pererenan but in a quiet street. Good room size, although much smaller than what the listing says. Helpful staff.

Cleaniliness and maintenance could be improved. The pools were often cloudy, room cleaning every 2 days but not well made. Very basic kitchen amenities.

Location was good, outside the heart of Canggu which was perfect for us as it’s only a 5 min gojek to everything. there was some nice little cafes and spas that were just up the road too.

The bathroom could have been a little bit cleaner, but for the price we paid i’d say it was worth it.

Such a gorgeous pink pool area! The way the rooms’ terraces are designed around the pool is lovely. Walking distance to Crate is handy and the street is pretty. Close to a handful of cafes and gyms and a fifteen minute walk back around to the main Pererenan strip.

There’s only downlights and no lamps. While aesthetic needs a few practical features like evening lighting, especially lamps on the bedside tables so you don’t have to get up to turn on and off the lights. The hard pink stools on each terrace are not designed for comfort. Comfortable seats or day beds on the terraces would make the area so much more welcoming and usable. The bathroom tiles were not clean when I checked in, where the towels hang they were covered in drip and dirty marks and the grout needs a good scrub. There are holes in the bathroom walls that mozzies and noise comes through so keep the bathroom door closed. The walls are also thin and you can hear nearby traffic. The staff were a little unprofessional and can be quite noisy throughout the day and sometimes night. I had to text the Ponder WhatsApp at 1:19am one night and ask them to be quiet because the staff member on duty was talking loudly on the phone. The curtains do not block out the outdoor lights at the top so it’s difficult to sleep before they turn off the outdoor lights. Although I enjoyed aspects of my stay I slept terribly and wouldn’t stay here again.

Отель не новый но очень красивый. Единственное что им стоит поменять это полностью пастельное белье, она старое и плохого качества. Но красота отеля затмевала иногда такие недостатки. Желаю отелю исправить эти недостатки и снова радовать своих гостей!)

Looked like pictures and Clean

It was exactly as pictured, super cute and great for our girls getaway. It was near enough to everything we wanted to do and the pool was great to have, always clean and the workers were always kind and helpful :)

There was a lot of noise that isolation was not good, I was on the top floor and you could hear the wind all the time because of bad isolation. Overall, I would say very noisy mostly in the morning. My room didn’t get cleaned during my Stay and I stayed three days. I didn’t really understand why.

The room is cool,the area is peaceful, the view is relaxing, the colors are soothing. Big shout out to Agus, he was amazing, understood the situation and act on it with high level professionalism, his way of problem solving was on par of a 5 stars luxury hotel ,very friendly and easy to talk to. Dwi was also understanding ,supportive and friendly. I don't give 9 so easily to places I stayed if there were issues but these 2 individuals were amazing so they made up to a few issues I had but because they stood out ,it's not important mention it since all was addressed promptly. I really enjoyed my staying, I will definitely come back again

The kitchen counter ,sink, stove is too low ,basically if u are 5 foot is perfect but if u are above that height, u need to bend and it's not comfortable at all ,,it was not comfortable using it. The kitchen crockery and cutlery was not for proper cooking more like light breakfast type of things so it could be better.

Het personeel is echt heel erg vriendelijk, de kamers zijn schoon, fijne ligging en ik het ziet er echt super cute uit!

The place is well located, nice, with a good swimming pool. The staff is very nice. Also the little café that's next to the hotel bring your breakfast to your room and it's great.

The noise was too much, I don't know if it's the construction site next to the hotel or the family in the upper room but the walls were banging constantly during the day and until midnight and as an early sleeper that was not nice.

Loved everything about this property. The decor is amazing, such a comfortable space. Amazing bed & great location. Can walk to anywhere in Pererenan or a quick ride to Seseh or Canggu. Really friendly staff, available on WhatsApp for anything you might need. Also one of the first places I’ve stayed in Bali that’s really taking care of the damp issues too - no smell and dehumidifier’s in the room 🙏🏻 Would definitely return & stay here again.

The only fault would be the shower could be improved as the water falls at an angle from the shower head making it a little difficult to shower, otherwise everything was amazing!

Comfortable apartment in Canggu/pererenan. The bed and day bed are both so incredibly comfy! I miss the bed in the apartment! Good size kitchen and living space. Staff very easy to communicate with. In a very central location, easy to get around with scooter or grab. I would def stay here again!

最高でした！子連れ（2歳）で2週間滞在しました。またチャングーに来る際は滞在したいです。自信を持っておすすめします。 強いていえば気になった点としては、シャワーのお湯がすぐぬるくなります。複数人で使用する際は湯量の調整が必要かもしれません。 小さいアリがたくさんいました。これはホテルのせいではないので、食べ物はすぐ片付ける等ご自身で対策が必要です。 連泊の際は清掃は2日に1回。タオルは言えば毎日交換してくれます。ドライヤーは言えば貸してくれます。ビーチタオルも借りれました。WhatsAppでコミュニケーションが取れるのでアプリをダウンロードしておくと便利だと思います。 色んなホテルを滞在しましたが、値段以上の価値があり、とても可愛くて清潔でした。潔癖症の私が満足できるホテルは久々です。ぜひこの状態をキープしてください。また戻ってきます。ありがとうございました！

Large apartment, very spacious with everything you need within, and perhaps things you never thought of. Including water dispenser which was great. Location out a bit from beach/main areas, have to take a car to get to the beach etc (approx 50K per trip) and can get caught up in traffic. Some basic shops etc nearby circle K and the like, and some restaurants need to walk along the main road to get there. FYI no ATMs in the area. Had a couple of hiccups with hot water not working etc, but the staff came and fixed promptly.

Didn't love the air fresheners in the rooms many air fresheners so many different smells.

The staff were very nice and welcoming, which I appreciated. The pool area is cosy and well-maintained — a pleasant spot to unwind. The location is also quite good: slightly tucked away from the noise and crowds, yet still convenient, especially being right next to Pererenan. The in-room kitchen was a useful feature, equipped with a decent-sized fridge — handy for stocking up on fruits or drinks.

While the rooms are nicely styled and appear well-designed at first glance, there are several serious functional shortcomings that significantly affect the comfort of the stay: Tiny kitchen table – The table is extremely small, barely usable even for one person, and completely impractical for two. What makes it more frustrating is that there's clearly enough space for a larger, functional table — this feels like an oversight rather than a constraint. Useless daybed as a couch – The downstairs daybed can work if you only use it for sleeping, but it’s practically unusable as a couch due to the complete lack of a backrest. Sitting on it for any length of time is uncomfortable and awkward. No full-length mirror – The absence of a full-length mirror is another puzzling design choice. There’s plenty of room for one, and it’s a basic amenity you’d expect in any place that aims to offer comfort and convenience. Very uncomfortable mattress – The mattress feels cheap and unsupportive right away. It clearly compromises sleep quality and gives the impression that comfort wasn’t prioritized at all. No blackout curtains and privacy concerns – The rear windows don’t have blackout curtains, which already makes sleeping difficult for anyone sensitive to light. More concerning is the fact that the curtains are transparent when the lights are on, meaning you’re visible to people outside. This is a serious privacy issue and should come with a clear warning — guests shouldn’t have to find this out by accident. Poorly washed towels – While cleaning was punctual and generally fine, the towels had a noticeable unpleasant smell, as if they hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. In a tropical climate like Bali’s, proper sanitation is crucial — using bleach or more effective washing practices would go a long way in maintaining hygiene standards.

the studio was very comfortable and very aesthetic. I didn't think it would look even better in real life than in pictures. The bed was also very soft and comfortable. The staff was always available and met all expectations. Also very friendly and helpful staff + gatekeeper. recommended to come again! :)

"Pause and ponder" - I really love the hotel's concept. Ponder truly is a beautiful place to stay! I especially enjoyed the comfortable bed with the soft and high quality linen, the kitchen with the offered mineral water and the lovely furniture and decoration. It felt so much like home that I extended my stay several times. I definitely recommend staying here and I'd love to come back! The staff is very adorable and one more reason to stay at Ponder! They are really kind people and always ready to help. When I had an accident, they called the doctor, looked after me and assisted me in every possible way. My special thanks go to Dharma and Dwi, but also to Agus and all the other staff members who made my stay as comfortable as possible and even brighter.

During my stay was a construction going on which got noisy sometimes. I got informed about it in advance and I am glad that I didn't cancel as for me the advantages of Ponder outweighed the ongoing construction.

It’s tucked away and hidden from the main roads. There is staff available 24/7 and security in the evenings. The decor is lovely and the beds are really really comfortable. The aircon is great and shower was lovely! The kitchen and fridge are a good size if you wanted to do some cooking from your room rather than eat out.

We like it is new property, everything works and clean. Also we like the soft bed, small kitchenette with clean plates, bowls and cups. O and electric kettle for hot tea.

We did not find enough space for car parks. Fortunately we the only ones have to park our car. But if there's 5 other cars need to park then i don't know where they going to arrange that. Also we find the pool is on the unmanaged side. The water looks dirty, surely they can clean it more. One more thing is the stairs, they are steep. That reminds me to report that there are steep stairs every where. So no wheelchair. But that is also part of charms of this property. It follows the countour of the land and lanscaping it quite beautifully

It’s so beautiful here. Literally feels home :) and the staff are so nice here! Also the surrounding areas have many trees. Very peaceful area without any noise from the parties.

Everything was really great during my stay at ponder. The room was bigger than I expected with nice decoration. The pool and the garden was beautiful. They also have vegan cafe on site which tasted amazing even for me as a non vegan.

It’s in a quieter area but not too far from Canggu. The staffs were very lovely and accommodating.

The walls were a bit thin so we can hear some noises, maybe with a little soundproofing it will help. But otherwise, everything is well and nice.

Very comfy bed and excellent linen! The comfiest bed I've experienced in Bali. The room was basically a mini apartment, with a big fridge, kitchen and brand new bathroom. Absolutely recommend this hotel - fantastic value for money!

Absolutely beautiful and clean. Feels like I’m the first person to stay in my room. All brand new amenities. Very clean. You can tell they have put detail and effort into the rooms, including a place to do my makeup!

Needs a pool bed to lay down on but that’s all!
