The building is old and looks like not in a good condition. There’s stench coming up from every drain in the room. The stairs and the washing machine rooms in the building look dirty. The room is right next to the main street, so it’s super noisy at night if you have the windows open. However, if you have the windows closed, it’s very stuffy air in the room which makes you can’t sleep well. The curtains are not blackout, so it’s very bright in the room in the early morning, which wakes people up early.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026We arrived late at night and received a very warm welcome. The apartment was clean, in excellent condition and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It sits beside a stream, whose flowing water adds to its Alpine charm. Churwalden offers spectacular mountain scenery and cable cars for exploring the surrounding area. A convenient stop on a road trip through the Alps.
The apartment is located directly beside the road, and opening the road-facing windows lets in considerable traffic noise, making it difficult to hold a conversation or sleep. Fortunately, the windows are very well insulated when closed. The fold-out bed in the living room was not particularly comfortable, although it was adequate for a short stay. Unlike other Swiss destinations we visited, no guest card offering free cable car rides was provided.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026The host was incredibly helpful and nice, and the apartment was absolutely perfect for our large family! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The kids especially loved the little window that opened to the balcony, and having access to laundry facilities was a huge bonus. We chose this apartment because it was a close, affordable alternative to staying in Chur while taking the train to St. Moritz, and we're so glad we did. The area was much quieter, more peaceful, and had a charming alpine feel that we really enjoyed. As an unexpected bonus, we discovered a mountain coaster within walking distance of the apartment, and it ended up being one of the kids' highlights of our time in Switzerland! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Сами апартаменты очень уютные, стильные и продуманные до мелочей. Красивый современный дизайн создаёт особую атмосферу, а идеальная чистота делает пребывание ещё более комфортным. В распоряжении гостей просторные комнаты, удобная и хорошо оборудованная кухня, где есть всё необходимое. Отдельного упоминания заслуживает потрясающий балкон. Вечером мы сидели там, наслаждаясь тишиной и любуясь звёздным небом — это было по-настоящему волшебно. Также нам очень понравилась сауна: чистая, уютная и прекрасно подходящая для отдыха после насыщенного дня. У отеля отличное расположение, благодаря которому удобно добираться до всех интересных мест. Большим плюсом стала и наличие парковки, что особенно важно для путешественников на автомобиле. Это место, куда действительно хочется вернуться снова. Огромное спасибо за гостеприимство и прекрасно проведённое время! Рекомендуем этот отель всем, кто ценит комфорт, уют и тёплую атмосферу.

Reviewed Apr 28, 2026Die Gastgeberin war extrem nett – sehr reaktionsschnell auf Anfragen, flexibel, freundlich und stets um unser Wohlbefinden bemüht. Die Sauberkeit und die Einrichtung der Wohnung waren in Ordnung. Leider wurde unser Aufenthalt durch einen Unfall getrübt, sodass wir vorzeitig abreisen mussten.
Der Flur des Hauses war leider dreckig, was einen eher negativen ersten Eindruck hinterlässt. Schade.

Reviewed Apr 7, 2026Really amazing stay at Big House. We had two apartments and both were spacious, comfortable, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The small sauna in the big apartment was also a huge plus. Parking is right next to the building, the location is also good (~650m from the supermarkets/ski gondola, 150m from the bus stop). And most of all: the staff is REALLY nice and accommodating, they were very helpful and flexible with anything they could (like check-in / check-out). I would definitely recommend it!

Asciugamani e prodotti per l'igiene a disposizione. Ci ritornerei sicuramente! La signora ancor prima di arrivare ha inviato un comodo messaggio con tutte le informazioni necessarie. Disponibile e cordiale. Lo consiglio!
Tutto è stato perfetto, ma se devo dire qualcosa, mi permetterei di far notare che in cucina mancavano alcuni accessori (guanti protettivi per il forno, forbici, frusta per miscelare, secondo sacco dei rifiuti) ed eventualmente l'aspirapolvere.

It's really close to the gondola to take the alps slide, one village away from the bike kingdom, and was sparkling clean, comfortable warm and even with coffe and tea. Has space to keep your bike and the host even kept our luggage (and offer us to use the apartment) after check out. Super recommended!!!!

Las vistas son preciosas; al estar tan cerca de la montaña no se aprecia toda su grandiosidad, pero aun así resultan encantadoras. Por la noche se escucha el río cercano, aunque gracias al excelente aislamiento acústico apenas se percibe. Nos impresionó descubrir que había una sauna, aunque no tuvimos tiempo de utilizarla. La ubicación es ideal, muy cerca de actividades deportivas y de ocio al aire libre. Perfecto disponer de estacionamiento privado y gratis!!
Como único detalle a mejorar, el acceso al edificio está muy cerca de la carretera principal y las aceras resultan algo estrechas; quizá sería conveniente colocar una valla o elemento similar para mayor seguridad.

Zapach papierosów. Nieciekawy wystrój pokoju- zdecydowanie w rzeczywistości nie wygląda to tak przyjemnie jak na Bookingu. Pościel którą mam wrażenie, była już używana. Ręczniki z których nie odważyliśmy się skorzystać. Zepsuty ekspres do kawy. Ogólnie o ile budynek z zewnątrz sprawia przyjemne wrażenie o tyle w środku jest nieprzyjemnie.
