Very clean, near everything, very calm, in an inner court. We are very happy with the stay.

The extra beds are not quite stable, the table in the kitchen is not comfortable, especially for four people. There are no insect nets on the windows and the darkening in the rooms can be better.

Poziția apartamentului este foarte bună, aproape de centru și de mijloacele de transport.

Nu ne-a plăcut faptul ca se simțea miros de tutun în apartament.

Ausstattung der Küche (alles da für 2 Personen, gute Messer, Bügeleisen und Fön, Kaffeekapseln zum Start), Gestaltung des Wohnraums (mit indirektem Licht, geschmackvolle Möbel), Kommunikation schnell, die App ist sehr informativ. Hervorragende Lage, gute Größe, Balkon mit Blick über Garten, im Hinterhof. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Bett sehr weich, recht hellhörig (vor allem Wasserleitungen, zum Glück sehr ruhige Nachbarn), einfache Bauweise und es riecht in der gesamten Wohnung 2 nach einem undefinierbaren Geruch, der hinterher in der Kleidung hängt. Musste alles waschen.

Apartmanın bulunduğu semti ve genel olarak konumu çok sevdik. Otobüs durağı çok yakındı, sokak ve yakın çevresi sessiz, temiz ve güvenliydi. Birkaç dakikalık yürüme mesafesinde 2 market vardı, bir de çok tatlı eski bir sokak, zaten tramvay da oradan geçiyordu. Ulaşım kolaydı. Evde ihtiyaç duyduğumuz herşey vardı: mutfakta kapkacak, banyo ve yatak odasındaki malzemeler. Yağmura ve biraz serin havaya rağmen balkonun keyfini yine de çıkardım. Sıcak duş aldık, çizgi filmleri izledik, WiFi kullandık. Bu daire ev ortamını yaşattı bize. Bina ve bahçesi sakindi. Rahat uyuduk. Isıtma ile ufak bir sorun vardı ama ev sahibiyle iletişime geçtik, yetkiliyi gönderdi ve sorunu çözdü. Daire biraz eski görünebilir ama kayda değer hiçbir eksik yoktu. Tekrar kalır mıydık burada? Kesinlikle evet!

Dairenin içi biraz nemliydi fakat katlanabilir derecedeydi. Bundan rahatsız olmadık, zaten kaldığımız süre boyunca hava yağmurluydu ve serindi. Muhtemelen bu dönemde Basel'de hava böyle olur. Ortak alandaki makinelerde çamaşırlarımızı yıkadık ve kuruttuk, ne çamaşırlarımız ne de başka eşyalarımız ortamdan olumsuz etkilenmedi.

Super Lage! Gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Sehr nette Kommunikation.

Es roch extrem feucht. Haben uns erst einmal nach Schimmel auf die Suche gemacht. Den haben wir NICHT gefunden, aber ich hätte am liebsten einen Bautrockner reingestellt. Haben deswegen nur mit offenen Fenster schlafen können (und wissen daher, dass ein Nachbar kifft😄). Der Duschvorhang ist nur angeklemmt und fiel ohne Vorankündigung auf den Duschenden. Die Hälfte der Handtücher hatte Flecken, was den Wohlfühlfaktor deutlich gesenkt hat. Die Spülmaschine, die man auf einen Foto sah, ist wohl nicht in jedem Appartment.

Beautiful accommodation in great location

Die Lage der Wohnung war sehr gut. Die Wohnung ist hell und geräumig.

Die Ausstattung und die Sauberkeit der Küche. Töpfe und Pfannen waren teilweise dreckig und in beklagenswerten Zustand. Die Lampen am Nachtisch funktionierten nicht und es war auf der einen Seite keine Steckdose dafür da. Der Duschvorhang war am unteren Ende unhygienisch.

Cazarea a fost buna. Camera mare, spațioasă, curat. Internetul a fost bun. Bucătăria utilata cu cele necesare pregătirii micului dejun sau a unei alte mese. Priveliștea din terasa superbă in gradina din spate plina de plante și pomi.

Doar o recomandare. Ar fi util una sau doua umbrele la locație, am prins vreme ploioasă și o zi nu am putut ieși . Și câteva pastile pentru mașina de spălat vase. Deși există în bucătărie ,nu am putut o folosi, neavând pastile pentru aceasta.

Clean and good location

There was no information pack and the TV could not be used for terrestrial channels

The location is good. Near the train station.

The facilities are just ok. The weather was extremely warm during our stay, there is no air conditioning in the apartment. The washing machine and dryer are on the ground floor which are not convenient. There was a leak in the bathroom during our stay.

The apartment was very clean and 8 min by foot to the basel center. Perfect for 2 persons, in my opinion it wouldn’t fit a 3rd one

11 was the check out time and 10.45 someone rang the bell to start the cleaning

Good location near the university, not far from the center, public transport conveniently accessible. Balcony and a nice view to the courtyard, generally very quiet. Huge comfy bed, spacious bathroom with good shower. The bathroom and the apartment in general are very warm. We could easily check in ourselves in the evening because of the locker box with the keys and detailed instructions sent by the host. The host is super friendly and responsive.

While the apartment is spacious, because of the layout (separate kitchen with a tiny table plus one room which is both bedroom and living room) it seems problematic for stays of more than 2 people. For us as a couple this wasn't a problem, although we'd love to have there a sofa or at least one more armchair, to not sit on the bed. Also would be great to have a dimmable light in the kitchen or a less bright alternative light source.

The property was very clean, and it was in Avery quiet part of town. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware and dishes, and some tea, salt and pepper. The bathroom was big and the place was a decent size for our family of 4 to move around. When we first arrived, we were disheartened by the trash at the front, but it is not the properties’ fault. The location is good for the price, it was close to the old historic town.

The property was very cold at night and we asked for extra blankets and they were never brought. We were only provided 4 thin body towels for a family of 4 for 4 days, which is not sufficient. We asked for more and they never arrived. Also, another kitchen towel would have been helpful. The “futon” beds were incredibly uncomfortable and with a very thin mattress. The pillows were large but not firm.

The apartment is centrally located near old town, close to Spalentor/Universität. It has a couple of shared visitor parking spaces in the courtyard.

The laundry is shared and have to be pre-booked in advance. Rather difficult for visitor/tourist to dedicate several hours during the day to do laundry.

Location is great, it was very clean. The owner was nice and helpful.

The check in is pretty late and there is no option of earlier one. It was a bit cold in the appartment. Also, we were told to pay for the garbage bag if we wanted one, although we paid for the accommodation and additionaly tourist tax. Considering the price of the appartment and the tax, I think it would be fair to leave at least one garbage bag for the guests.

The place was great and close to the city centre. Communication was really smooth and super helpful, especially regarding an additional bed and the BaselCard which I can only recommend.

Cannot open the key box smoothly.

It has a cozy view from the balcony. The flat is pretty and they provided many necessities like shampoo, gel, toothpaste and new toothbrushes, etc. Communication with the owners was great and fast too, they were very helpful. I definetly recommend this place. In some comments they said that it was difficult to know which flat it is but they have marked it, and gave instructions on how to access the property.

We noticed that there were no pans nor a microwave. I think those would be very helpful, since if you are not staying for many days its easier to make a quick meal with a pan or get pre-cooked meals for the microwave. Apart from that, I would say that they provide everything you need.

Very beautiful flat in an excellent location. The balcony to the green courtyard is really cool.

When we arrived, the keybox was empty - no keys, and the phone number provided for questions was not answered. Luckily, I found another number in my booking confirmation, and after some back and forth, somebody arrived with the key 20 minutes later. When we wanted to return the key in the key box, the code did not work anymore. A bit of a hassle.

The location is perfect, very close to the old town and very quiet too. The balcony with a nice garden view.

Because this property is still new so there are something missing: the iron, the sponge to wash, some plastic bag to replace the 🗑️, and some basic ingredients for the kitchen (of course these are not a must have but it is nicer to prepare a little bit for the the guest, we stay 3 nights) But after I suggested, the host had bring for us a brand new iron and 2 full box of coffee for the machine and 2 boxes of tea the next morning 🥰 That’s really amazing!

Everything was fine. The apartment was clean and everything what you need was there.

Someone tried to come in to the flat at 11.30pm thinking it was the flat upstairs from the same owners apparently. The listing said there was an iron in the flat but there wasn't. There was an old school press valet for trousers though Also, would have been nice to have some shampoo/conditioner if it is rated 3 stars for amenities on booking.com Otherwise well supplied and comfortable.

Great location, clean, quiet and cozy apartment with towels, sheets, pans, cooktop. A beautiful garden view. The owner was very helpful and answered many questions by email. I received a pass that allowed me to have free tram transportation in Basel during my stay. There is a supermarket nearby.

It was difficult to get the keys when I arrived, and also difficult to return them when I left. The owner was helpful and polite but I had to make an international call using my cell phone, to receive a correct code to return the keys. The call lasted for more than five minutes and meant additional costs for me. In addition, I had never seen the system that was used - it might be helpful to send a picture or video prior to arrival, showing the process. Finally, the curtain in the shower would benefit from cleaning.

Location was okay.

The host was not helpful. We had to ask on how to get our Basel Card and was told they already sent it to us … 6 months ago. Instructions on the apartment and check in would have been helpful just before arrival. The laundry was in the basement with no instructions on how to use the machines. Also had to sign up to use them, as they were shared with residents of the building. Blind on one of windows did not work. Host said we should charge the battery ourselves! Coffee maker did not work.

The location was good, near bus route etc. Also near the beautiful Spalentor old gate. I loved that street with all the interesting shop windows. Flat was roomy and well appointed.

I would have liked some small supplies like small milk for coffee on arrival. Also a comfortable couch to relax in. We couldn't close one of the blinds in the bedroom as battery was flat.

The apartment was close to the city centre, about a 15 minute walk. It was fairly clean but the chairs were dirty when the seating pads were removed. The host was responsive. This property would be ideal for 1 or 2 people, it is spacious.

The second bed was a thin piece of foam on the floor in the same bedroom as the main bed (which was also uncomfortable). The photos may fool you to thinking this is a 2 bed apartment. We have severely bad backs after sleeping on the floor for 3 nights, the foam was so thin we could feel the hard wood underneath us which significantly affected our ability to enjoy our stay. We asked the host to rectify this, but all they suggested was booking their bigger apartment for full price and did not offer compensation. We had random people knocking on our door every day? Drunk confused guests from the apartment upstairs and unknown people (we stopped answering the door) There was no kettle I would recommend the host purchase a sofa bed as there is plenty of room for this, and make photos very clear of the sleeping set up on booking.com to ensure travellers are not disappointed in future.

It was Carnival in Basel. Great location! We loved this apartment. It had everything that we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and we loved the pillows. It also had a little balcony.

We were initially confused on which apartment it was, it appears this property owner has two apartments for rent, one of them on the first floor, and one on the second floor. When we arrived, we came in the lower level and from America I assumed it was the first floor, however it was not lol so when I arrived at the first floor, I thought it was the second floor my mistake!

It is close to city centre.

It is not so clean and there isn’t an elevator at the apartment.

No soap. Since there is a coffee machine it would be nice to have some coffee in the apartment to make. However, this didn’t ruin the overall good impression.

It was really cozy place, and clean.

The appartment is quite spacious, well equipped and decorated with style. There is nice balcony with the garden view. Check-in process was well explained and easy. The host is very attentive to the guests needs and respond quite fast. Definitely can recommend staying here!

It would be nice to add some basic things for cooking at the kitchen: like salt, sugar.

Amenities and location to the station

The apartment has a clean, refurbished bathroom and toilet; soap/shampoo, and towels were available. The kitchen is tiny and nice with basic facilities. Having a coffee machine with coffee capsules and creamer was a lovely gesture. Tea was also available! The oven and cooking facilities were beneficial, we could cook a few times for children. A small balcony with a table and chair with greenery outside was nice for relaxing with a coffee. Nice interior decorations with small plants and comfortable beds to sleep in. The host was easily reachable, responsive, and supportive, which made us feel nice. Bus number 30 is a few minutes walk and takes you to the main Basel railways station. Many tourist attractions are nearby, such as Basel Zoo, the main city, the town hall, the natural history museum, etc where we could walk (10-20 minutes walk) with children. Overall it was a nice stay for a family of 4 with two young children.

Having to microwave and frying pan in the kitchen will add more value. Floor mats in the kitchen and bathroom can help keep the house clean and dry. Clear and detailed instruction on collecting keys is helpful (I could not locate keys and had to call the owner. But retrospectively, I know it is well placed and easy to locate, I did not catch the instruction). The building is at the backside of the main road with a small entry road, need to see carefully to locate it.
