Reviewed Apr 23, 2026Lovely home. It was very modern, smart spacious and clean. Loved the bedrooms all had own bathrooms - as we all had to get up at the same time for an early flight from Christchurch. Very convenient location for the airport. Didn’t really use all facilities as only there for one night but was brilliant place. Thank you.
An improvement would be to have more seating in the lounge area - as there was only one settee so we could only sit in a row (and there were only 3 of us), however if people are happy to sit on the floor(rug) you can manage.

The pillows were rock hard which made sleeping difficult. For the size of the house the available seating in the lounge area is very limited. There is a lack of kitchen ware.

Reviewed Dec 8, 2025Loved the kitchen, separate washing machine and drier, the downstairs bedroom and bathroom (perfect for our elderly travelling companion who didn’t have to navigate the stairs), the plush carpet and under floor heating in bathrooms. Bonus was a pair of scissors in the kitchen (a rarity in holiday homes), a big indoor drying rack, and long stemmed wine glasses.
Minor inconveniences like no pegs for the outdoor clothesline, powdered instant coffee (rather than a pod machine generally available at properties of this price point), only a single lounge in the lounge room (inconsistent with the number of beds), and no pillow cases for additional pillows.

It was a bit difficult to heat the apartment up on a chilly day. Needs softer lighting in the lounge area. We brought a lampstand out from one of the bedrooms and solved the problem

Reviewed Aug 12, 2025Location was great for us - close to the football venue. Property was safe and secure, modern and clean. Sensible layout - with one bedroom and bathroom downstairs - great for my elderly father - and two bedrooms upstairs with their own bathrooms - perfect for my husband and my son.
Very little to fault with this lovely property. A beautiful kitchen but could do with a kitchen cloth and extra tea towel. Great to have electric blanket on the downstairs bed, would have been even better to have them on the upstairs beds too. Having said that, the property was warm and perfect for our purpose.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2025Didn’t get to stay at the place I booked. The day of check in we were moved to another property they have on booking.com that was cheaper and inconvenient when it come to parking. Booked a place with 4 beds so the children didn’t have yo share beds, place we where shifted too had 3 beds and a mattress to place on the floor.
The place we got shifted too was not in a great location, was cheaper than what I had originally paid for this place and not offered a refund for the price difference. The driveway was not suitable to walk down at all, potholes and mud, the neighbours blocked off the garage access, not enough bedding if I wanted the kids to sleep in the floor I would have booked a tiny hotel room.
