2人旅でしたが、予約サイトで空いている部屋が個室では4 beds の部屋しかありませんでした。料金は高かったですがゆったり過ごそうと、4 bedsの部屋を予約し、4人部屋の料金を支払いました。ところが、実際に案内されたのは2 bedsの狭い部屋でした。受付に行って、私が予約したのは4 bedsの部屋で高いお金を払っている、2 bedsではあまりに割に合わない、と主張したところ、「2人なのに4つベッドが必要なの？」「お金を払ってしまったので2人部屋との差額は返金できない」と言われてしまいました。予約ページを見せ、内容を説明し、別の担当者が出てきてようやく部屋を変えてもらえました。はじめからきちんと案内してほしかったです。4人部屋は良かったです。

Our bungalow at Rainforest Lodge was spacious and tastefully decorated, with a large veranda. It was so peaceful in the park. The starting point for all the activities was on our doorstep, and each activity was very reasonably priced. There is a good cafe on site open from 7am to 9pm. If you want to escape from it all stay here.

We have visited Mulu before but never booked with Booking.com. Wow! Being able to book such a remote place with Booking.com was great. The staff were very friendly and accommodated an early check in given that our flight had arrived then. The rooms had comfortable beds, air con, hair and body wash. We didn't need any mosquito plug ins in the room. Breakfast was a choice of western style or local - great food and great service. Lunch/dinner was either in the park's 'cafe' (restaurant really) with a great communal feel to it or venture out. You can drink the water from the filtered taps both in your room and at refill stations. We fell in love with Mulu all over again, with its beautiful surroundings and activities - and totally blown away with how friendly the staff were and the rooms on the national park. We didn't want to leave; there's a certain magic about the place. We ate outside the park one night and could get service on our phones as we had changed to local sims in Kuala Lumpur (no service inside the park but just walk across the river bridge). Both inside and outside the park, you could order beer (wine also in the park). The guides were very knowledgeable and we enjoyed exploring some areas (that you are allowed to go it alone) ourselves - bat exodus and paying a deposit to get the key for the tower/hide. We paid with card in the park and cash in the outside restaurant. Go! You will not be disappointed!

Staying inside Mulu national park was amazing. You wake up with the sounds of birds. Walking to the Cafe for a delicious breakfast (French toast Kaya is the best!) is already a treat. The boardwalks are well maintained and you can easily walk into the national park to start one of the many different trails which the park has to offer. I would recommend booking activities beforehand since they can be fully booked.

La posizione della struttura è davvero eccezionale: si trova proprio all'ingresso del parco e permette di raggiungere comodamente tutti i punti di partenza delle escursioni, comprese le night walk. Lo staff ci ha accolti con grande professionalità e disponibilità, aiutandoci anche a organizzare alcune escursioni che non ero riuscita a prenotare in autonomia. La nostra camera era ampia, luminosa e con una splendida vista sulla foresta, mentre il bagno era spazioso e perfettamente pulito. La colazione era abbondante. Un soggiorno davvero piacevole: struttura assolutamente consigliata!

The nature, just beautiful!

C'est le seul hôtel lodge à l'intérieur du parc ( aller à l'accueil du parc pour votre chambre) , très bon compromis prix et confort, entre le Marriot et les homestay. Endroit bien tenu et propre, jolis lodge dans la jungle, petit déjeuner correct. Restaurant correct.

Basic but comfortable room in a great location in the park. The park is terrific with lots of trails and several tours you can take. Breakfast as basic but OK, and Nasi Lemak was good. Umobile SIM worked well, and the wifi in Garden cafe just outside the park was excellent.

Some of the staff are helpful, but many others, especially in the cafe, are surly and uninterested. A smile and a bit of customer service would go a long way. The burger was awful. Goodness knows what it was made of, as it was a neon pink. It would be useful if, when you arrive, the person handling your check-in were more helpful. I travel solo, and it wasn't helpful to be handed a map of a truly vast park without being told that the routes are all boardwalks and well marked. I had no clue from the map how to find the various routes and was worried I'd get lost. I had to drag the info out of the guy. Despite putting the Do Not Disturb sign on my door on day one, housekeeping went into the room. They'd definitely seen the sign as they put it inside the room when they'd finished. Stupidly, they opened the windows and left them open, so I returned to mosquitoes.

We stayed in the long house with private bathroom and toilet. This is a national park not a 4 or 5 star hotel accommodation so it is necessary to manage expectations. All basic needs are met. Laundry service is available and very affordable. Hair dryer is available too, request from park office.

i remind myself this is a national park. so i need to share my living space with all the insects around the park. No TV and Internet connection depends on luck. sometimes the connection in the middle of the forest is better than the room. food at the cafe is sufficient to feed you but nothing to shout about.

Super Lage im Nationalpark. Wir würden wieder diese Unterkunft wählen und sie allen empfehlen. Sehr schöne Häuschen mit sehr schönen Zimmern. Gutes Badezimmer, gute Dusche. Auffüllstationen für Trinkwasser sind vorhanden.

Wir wurden vor der Ankunft nicht über die Anreise zur Unterkunft informiert. Die Unterkunft hat keinen Abholdienst. Man muss am Flughafen lokale Leute fragen, ob sie einen mitnehmen (5 Ringgit pro Person). Die Unterkunft war telefonisch und über Booking.com aber gut erreichbar und hat uns dies erklären können. Es wäre allerdings hilfreich gewesen, hätten wir das bereits im Voraus gewusst.

Wonderful two night stay in the NP base. The cottages were very clean and comfortable. The food was also really good. Joined the Deer cave walk and watched the amazing bat exodus from the cave. Did other self guided walks and had a fantastic time.

The setting is idylic to say the least, it's really convenient for all the activities inside of Mulu NP. The rooms are spacious, clean and new.

The only improvement would be a buffet style breakfast.

The location was perfect for accessing the park's facilities. We also liked the cafe even though it was undergoing renovations. The rooms we also comfortable.

I love the forest trails that Mulu has to offer. The insect life was fantastic although bird photography can be challenging in the dense forest.

公園の中なので、朝から夜まで自然を満喫できた。朝は鳥の鳴き声、夜はカエルの大合唱。トイレとシャワーが別の部屋で、どちらも広々としていて気持ちよく使えた。スタッフの方も、困りごとにも相談にのってくれてみんな親切だった。

ヘアドライヤーを100RMのデポジットで借りることができると部屋に書いてあったが、気づくのが遅くてもう受付が閉まったあとだった。借りたい人はチェックインのときに言っておくといいと思う。入口から部屋までの道は木でできた道で隙間があるので、あまり大きいスーツケースじゃないほうが移動しやすいと思う。

En el mismo parque, con todo accesible y en mitad de la selva. Habitación amplia y cómoda, buena ducha y colchones cómodos, todo con pasarelas y mucha naturaleza y animales.

A veces se iba la luz pero lo solucionaban pronto. Lo peor tal vez sea la comida y cena por horarios, prisas de empleados y algún trabajador, igual que la tienda que tienen, bastante básica y mala. El precio de las habitaciones algo elevado para ser Borneo pero merece la pena quedarse allí solo por donde se encuentra.

Für zwei Übernachtungen im Jungle ist OK.Es ist eine Sondeunterkunft für die Reservat Besuchern, funktionell gestalten, etwas veraltet.

Man darf nicht allzu viel erwarten.

What we really loved was how close you are to everything. Staying in the longhouse means you are right inside the park, and all tours start basically from your doorstep. For us, that made logistics incredibly easy — especially with kids. The rooms are simple but clean, which honestly exceeded our expectations given how remote the location is. The setup with four single beds in one room actually worked really well for us as a family — no need for extra beds or complicated arrangements. We also really appreciated the staff and guides, who were consistently friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. That added a lot to the experience, especially when doing tours with children. There’s something quite special about staying in a traditional longhouse-style building on stilts in the jungle — it feels authentic and very different from normal hotels. And overall, from a Danish perspective, it’s good value for what it is — you’re paying for location and experience, not luxury.

Fantastisk beliggenhed i kanten af regnskoven. Tydelige stier med gangbroer og velafmærkede ruter.Gode og dygtige guider. Hele resortet fremstår velordnet og vedligeholdt. Nemt at skaffe kørsel til og fra lufthavnen. Hytten er stor og ren. Der er både aircon og vifte.

Ingen wifi :-( udvalget på menuen i restauranten er meget lille og dyrt. Maden kunne være bedre. 100 meter derfra ligger Bamboo restaurant med udmærket wifi og veltilberedt mad og øl til halv pris ! Der bliver underligt nok spillet høj pop i restauranten mens folk prøver at spotte fugle derfra. Der er ikke køleskab i hytten.

Just the perfect accomodation if you are visiting Mulu NP since you are staying directly on the premises of the NP Headquarter. Our room was bright, clean and spacious. Staff is nice, breakfast is good. No complaints whatsoever

Het park was geweldig. Prachtig aangelegd en helemaal passend in de omgeving. Al het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Je kunt hier uit de kraan drinken. Geweldig!

宿泊する場所とツアーの予約手配が事務所が同じなのでツアーの予約が楽。 ツアー集合場所が事務所前なので楽。 設備の紹介ではファンとあったがちゃんとクーラーもあります。

冷蔵庫がない。 ミネラルウォーターもない。 ミネラル水はレストランとツアー集合場所な2カ所あり無料。ただ、少し味がくさい。ちなみに普通のミネラル水を買う所がないもしくは1軒くらいあるかもしれないレベル。レストランは高い。解決策としてはムルへ行く前の場所で水を購入して預け荷物に詰めたほうが良いか良いかと思います。 あと、夕食はホテル周辺も食べるところが少なくホテルレストランも早くクローズしてしまうので解決策としては早めに食事を食べたほうが良いかと思います。我が家はツアーが遅れて20時30分でクローズで近くの自動販売機のカッブラーメンとポテトチップスが夕食になった失敗談がありました。

Le personnel est exceptionnel, la chambre est superbe, au calme et directement accessible pour toutes les excursions ! Le Café sur place sert une myriade de plats différents, typiquement locaux et faits maisons à un prix plus que raisonnable ! Nous sommes restées quatre nuits mais nous aurions pu en faire quatre de plus !!!! Le chant des oiseaux nous a bercées tout le long du séjour :) Les guides sont sur place et vous aident à planifier toutes les activités (un grand merci à Jasmine, Francisca, Hundi, Chris et tous les autres, tout le monde est adorable c’est important de le souligner !!!)

A beautiful bungalow inside Mulu National Park (we stayed in Patai) We had a large room with en-suite bathroom, air con and a fan. Fresh drinking water refills on sight. The cafe was fantastic open all day with great selection of food/drinks. Jungle tours start 2 mins walk from accommodation. Hostel accommodation also available. Great experience

Mulu is an absolutely stunning national park and its special to actually stay within the park. Visiting the caves exceeded all expectations. The rooms/chalets were better than I was expecting, the mattress was particularly comfortable which is a bonus. The rooms were above adequate I would say and if I was Lucky enough to return to Mulu I would stay here again as the surroundings and environment is so beautiful.

Some of the walkways which are probably quite new were made of a plastic type of material and when wet were very slippery. Both of us almost fell a few times. I have no doubt someone will fall and will be injured. The food in the restaurant was just ok, the breakfast in particular is quite frugal. The tiny restaurant just outside the park on the right as you enter serves better food. The food overall is just a small gripe, overall it was a wonderful experience.

Fantastic location right inside the park with food options nearby. The rooms are great value for the price, have air conditioning, and safe drinking water, both typical issues for how remote the area is.

My room had some ants in it and could have been a bit cleaner but considering it's in the middle of the jungle I can't complain.

This was a step above glamping. Situated on the edge of a national park, on their highway (the river) back to nature in comfort.

La ubicación es excelente ya que estás dentro del parque. Las cabañas son amplias, la cama cómoda y la ducha es independiente con lo que se evita mojar todo el baño cuando te duchas. En el desayuno sirven una especie de porridge malayo y además puedes elegir entre tostadas con huevos, tostadas francesas y opción vegetariana.

No hay nada alrededor donde poder comprar fruta, bebidas, frutos secos o cosas similares. Hay una pequeña tienda de souvenirs pero no hay variedad.

Bon petit déjeuner et cadre agréable.

We twijfelden tussen het Marriott en dit. We hebben de goede keuze gemaakt! Fantatisch hotel, kamers of lodge midden tussen het groen! Ontbijt en diner simpel maar lekker. Alle excursies gaan vanuit daar goed lokaal te boeken!

Overall very impressed with everything about the park and accommodations. Everything is super well organized, very clean and all the staff both helpful and informative. Can't be the location.

The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. Best feature was staying in the park and being just a few minutes walk from HQ and the cafe. We had some power issues on the second night and third day but it was dealt with expeditiously. We didn't use it but there is laundry service available.

Big, clean room, comfortable bed, AC worked well. All tap water is drinkable, they use the reverse osmosis inside the park so you just have to refill the bottles. Mosquito net at every door.

It's great to stay right in the park, whether you want to go back for your binoculars, take a nap, or get a snack. The rooms in Rainforest Lodge are huge and very clean. They include hot water in the room with coffee and tea. Nice deck, if you want to relax, surrounded by nature. Best part: Mulu Park has reverse osmosis water purification in each room from the tap. I appreciated all the efforts to avoid plastics and single use.

There is practically no phone service in town anywhere (I got a weak connection by taking a hike), and the only wifi in town is at the airport or over at the Marriott and at Good Times Cavefe. This is good in some ways. People aren't streaming videos and looking at screens all day. But it would be useful to have wifi service in the cafe area. I had an urgent problem and needed to make an international phone call, and there was no way to do it. Also nice to be able to look up information about the environment, weather, species of birds and bats.

Right in the middle the national park. Your reservation just next door. No need to arrange any transportation to and from the park.

The internet reception for maxis and Celcom are very bad in Mulu area and it is lovely if they can provide free WiFi to their hotel guest.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There is water heater, air-cond (although did not have to use it), ceiling fan was working well and provide enough coolness for the room. They changed the towels daily. Basic tea, coffee sachets were provided and electric kettle. The tap water is safe to be consumed. There's netting so you can open the door with no insects coming in. Don't have to worry about food cause there is a cafe there than runs until night time. You can pay with credit card. The stay was inclusive with breakfast and was decent with selected few menus that is enough to keep you going for the morning activity. There's also a souvenir shop that you can buy torchlight,batteries, snacks, raincoat, gloves, adidas kampung. For other things like sanitary pads, you have to go to Mini Mart outside the park (not that far). It is very practical to stay inside the National Park as the meeting point for any activities is just a few steps aways from your lodge. Note: 1. There is no wifi, and little data coverage within the compound of national park. They will advise you to use Digi. But you can always just cross the bridge and reception is fine there. 2. Make sure arrange for them to pick you up at the airport. There's no Grab or public transport. Plus you won't have data or reception over there. Although there is airport Wifi. Locals are so nice, don't worry they won't leave you stranded at the airport.

The location of the accommodation is directly in the national park and the bungalows are amazingly located in the rainforest. Our bungalow exceeded our expectations and was a lot bigger and luxurious than we thought by the pictures. Staff were extremely friendly and we also loved the breakfast and food options in the restaurant! If you go to Mulu National Park, this is for sure the best accommodation as you can directly start your hike out of your room.

The AC didn’t work.

The location was incredible, right in the middle of the jungle. We watched lizards running around outside from our bed and listened to the sounds of all the creatures at night. The room was clean and basic although the sink leaked, the tap was loose and the electric sockets didn't always work. The tap water was brown, but boiled and purified it was ok. Bed was really comfortable and breakfast was amazing. Would definitely come again

The location was second to none! It was fantastic to be able to walk out the front door and be a five minute walk from a rainforest. Such a treat. I liked that all the staff who worked there are from the local community and they were always extremely friendly and hospitable.

The location is perfect, it is within the national park, so you don't need to wait for the transportation if you have a tour. There are many possibilities of food in the restaurant. The guided tours are interesting and well organized. Laundry is available and returned clothes cleaner than they were when they were new :)

Only one internet provider works in the region. Be careful buying the sim-card, otherwise you stay without internet for the whole period of your stay. No Wi-Fi at all.

Perfect location for tours and beautiful setting. Good cafe and reasonably priced considering the location.
