Nothing it was very unclean and unhygienic , also the person who was managing the booking and in charge was absolutely horrible and rude incredibly disrespectful and very unprofessional hanging up the phone and refusing to give the WiFi code and just down and out unmannered and not professionally done at all it’s the worst interaction I’ve ever had with someone I recommend not to stay here and the staff are rude and ignorant

The staff person who was in charge was one of the rudest people I ever met in my life and the residence was disgraceful and dirty very poor hygiene

Didn’t find it easy to get into the property. Very basic, our room was clean but bedding old, grey & creased. Very creeky floorboards. Towels were old and hard.

Stay well away I’d advise anyone we were lucky to get a hotel after running from this property very bad place with bad staff

The location...... It seemed extremely antisocial, neglected & intimidating. The host...... was very rude & hostile!!! When they eventually contacted me to give self check-in details, we'd already had to source alternative accommodation & when I tried to explain this to them, they became extremely hostile & verbally abusive!

I didn't like anything about it - AVOID AVOID AVOID The accommodation was what I expected for 50eur a night, it was the owner that caused weekend to be ruined. What was unexpected was being awoken at 7am on sunday morning by someone smashing on the bed room door. I had to ask three times for the person to identify themselves when someone replied they were the owner and they wanted to inspect the room. The person was incredibly rude and said they were checking to make sure there wasn't two people in the single booked room. I immediately packed and left and did not stay the last night as it did not feel safe. This accommodation should not be allowed to be offered as the owner is not a safe person to interact with. NO one expects the Ritz for 50eur a night but you do still expect a tidy safe environment free from dangerous people.

The owner thumping on the bed room door at 7am on Sunday morning demanding an inspection of the room implying I would have had another person stay over. They failed to identify themselves until requested about three times, they were rude and abrupt in their manner. I would be terrified if I were a female guest and experienced this behaviour. This accommodation should not be offered on booking.com. Edit: Owners response below shows exactly what you are dealing with if you book here. They seem to think that cheap price allows them to do whatever they wish. Read over the reviews below where this behaviour is repeated over the past three years from multiple guests.

On the website, the room was described as a double room with a private toilet, car parking, and wifi. The room has no private toilet, the WiFi doesn't work, and there is no car park. Awful experience of my life, the place has a lot of Romanian people on the street, and I felt insecure at the place. Never go to this place again.

Estimados, Solicito el reembolso total de mi reserva debido a que no pude acceder al alojamiento por causas atribuibles a la propietaria. Desde el día anterior a mi llegada intenté comunicarme en varias oportunidades para obtener las instrucciones de acceso y check-in. Sin embargo, no recibí la información necesaria ni una respuesta adecuada dentro de un plazo razonable. Llegué a la propiedad dentro del horario de check-in establecido y, al no contar con instrucciones para ingresar, intenté nuevamente contactar a la anfitriona. Incluso tuve que solicitar ayuda a una persona del lugar para poder llamarla por teléfono. Durante esa conversación, la propietaria no me proporcionó acceso al alojamiento ni una solución que me permitiera ingresar. Las instrucciones de acceso fueron enviadas cuando yo ya me encontraba regresando del lugar, por lo que resultaron inútiles y llegaron demasiado tarde para que pudiera utilizar la reserva. Como consecuencia de esta situación, me quedé sin alojamiento a pesar de haber pagado aproximadamente 40 € por la reserva. Además, posteriormente solicité el reembolso directamente a la propietaria y tampoco recibí respuesta. Dispongo de los mensajes, registros de llamadas y fotografías que acreditan que estuve en la propiedad dentro del horario acordado y que no pude acceder al alojamiento debido a la falta de asistencia e información por parte de la anfitriona. We had a place to sleep, and the gentleman staying above was helpful.

The host/ manager was incredibly rude, we came working the stated check in time, however she tried to refuse our stay, was uncommunitive and hostile. The room was dirty and smelled bad, the shared bathroom as well. The kitchen area looked dirty and in utter disrepair, really the whole building was questionable.

The man, who let me into the property, was very nice. I booked a single room for 1 night. I got a room on the ground floor - the room was spacious, contained 2 single beds, a desk, chair and an electric cattle. The place was clean, the bed was comfortable. The house is located in the city center, in a walking distance to shops, pubs and the bus station.

I didn't receive any information about the check-in on the day of arrival. Some reviews here mentioned people had received instructions&keylock codes via WhatsApp. I was just hoping someone would let me in. The floors are squeeky. Every move from the room upstairs could be heard in my room.

I walked up steep hills from bus station to The Fortwell boarding House and was unable to enter the place. A friendly neighbour called the emergency number and I was directed to another residence in another street and criticised for not having a smart phone

Despite having a confirmed booking, the guest was refused entry without any explanation. The administrator behaved unprofessionally and demanded additional payment without any valid reason. As a result, the situation escalated and Garda had to be called. After that, the booking was cancelled with an incorrect reason provided. Unfortunately, this experience was negative due to the behaviour of the administration.

In the town centre, very basic furniture and facilities but comfortable and fine for one or two nights

Even to have a shower has to be in turn despite you're in a different site .I asked the manager ,they told me to wait until other people in another bathroom finish and then you can have it . I don't know how things were going there . But I may give another go if needed hopefully things improve .

Overnight stayed great rate I didn't meet staff board with locker to retain a key very convenient to bus and train station walk away main town. Room was very clean and bathroom.

The bed was very comfortable. The view from the window on the hills surrounding Letterkenny very nice.

Saving on personnel, over three days, we met only the cleaning lady. On arrival, the code for the key box hadn't come yet, although there was our name on the keybox.

Хотелось бы больше уважения к гостю, который уже в возрасте и не знает английского языка. На вопросы и сообщения мне отвечали хамством и пообещали наказание за ранее сообщение с вопросом. Это единственный минус.

I didn’t like that it was hard to locate and that the other guests were in the shared bathroom for almost an hour in the morning which put me under pressure timing wise and they left hair everywhere in the shower

A person who deals with check-in, the owner or administrator is just a nightmare! This “person” shouldn't work with people! I booked the second time for my son and his friend, the first time here, the second time in another hostel nearby and “it”was there too! Then she yells at me that the guys were late and didn't come as I indicated when booking (agree, it's hard to know exactly the time when you're coming from another country) Another time it ran into the room at 11 at morning, screaming and kicking the children out. terrible attitude towards guests, terrible service!!! Listen, you misunderstanding, it doesn't matter how much a person paid for their stay - you should treat your guest with respect, ugh.

-Le proprio envoie une vidéo de présentation quelques heures avant la récupération des clés. Super bien expliquée de A à Z. -Etant en ville, l'accès au centre se fait très rapidement à pied.

-les cassos sans éducation et donc sans respect, "dormant" dans les chambres à côté et au-dessus. Du bruit toute la nuit, J'ai dormi 1h au total et je suis parti 2h plus tôt que prévu. Même la rue était plus calme que les gros nazes au même étage que le mien. Il y a 1 chance sur 2 pour avoir ce genre de comportement quand on loue pour une nuit. La prochaine fois, je dormirai en dortoir, car au même prix, la seule différence est qu'en dortoir, les murs inexistant entre 2 lits, n'empêchent pas de faire un max de silence pour laisser les autres dormir. (je ne parle pas des ronflements) A aucun moment je ne blâmerai le proprio et son logement.
