Mukrada House Boutique Hometel Krabi

It’s important to know what this part of Krabi is all about. It is not the electricity of its neighbor, Ao Nang. Instead, it is a sleepy beach town. You come here to unwind: to recharge and relax. This hotel certainly delivers on that concept. All the facilities worked well : shower, air conditioning and especially, the WiFi. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless. The bathroom, and especially the shower box were of good size. Because I was here during the rainy season, the hotel was empty, so the restaurant was closed. Therefore, breakfast was delivered to my room. The portion was very adequate and the food was delicious. Location: everything is to the left, as you exit. The Sofitel Hotel is 3-4 minutes away, and across the street from their hotel is an entrance to the beach. Right there, they have large, clearly marked, recycle bins. 10-12 minutes walk is the beginning of the small town. There is a 7/11, several restaurants and massage shops. If you proceed another several minutes, there’s a great, Tops Supermarket, and more massage shops. The hotel is on the beach, you merely cross the street, which is all of 4 meters in width. Tips: allow 45 minutes getting to the airport. And i recommend using the Grab app, as it is 1/2 the price of taxis.

Only one thing comes to mind. As there is nobody around after 8-9 PM, I recommend that the hotel give guests a WhatsApp contact number, in case of emergency during the night.

L'accueil du propriétaire des lieux a été très agréable et j'ai vraiment apprécié son aide et sa disponibilité pour mon premier jour. De plus, j'ai eu la chance d'être surclassée et j'ai eu une très jolie chambre, agréable sur l'arrière de la bâtisse. Calme et joliment décorée. L'ambiance y est familiale. La plage est de l'autre côté de la route et il y a des chaises longues à disposition. J'ai adoré les fruits proposés au petit déjeuner.

Me encantó este hotel. Es bonito, familiar, tranquilo. Tiene una playa súper tranquila y bonita delante, con tumbonas sillas y mesas para los huéspedes del hotel. El desayuno está muy bueno.

Mi habitación, la individual económica, no tenía ventana. Sin embargo, no me molestó tanto, porque igualmente prefería pasar el tiempo fuera, en la playa, o de excursión. También hay que tener en cuenta que no hay mucho alrededor: a 10 minutos está un 7 eleven, algunos restaurantes, alguna tienda, salones de masajes y poco más. Es más un destino de playa y naturaleza, para visitar las islas, etc.

Une réservation honteuse, dans un établissement autre que celui demandé avec une vue horrible. Une douche bouché, un toilette à moitié cassé et des draps sales. Bref évitez absolument cette endroit !!!

Die Lage direkt ist sehr gut. Direkt vom Strand kann man Bootstouren zu den kleinen Inseln der Bucht unternehmen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr aufmerksam, haben gute Empfehlungen für Ausflüge bereitgehalten und bei der Organisation unterstützt. Auf einer offenen Terrasse mit Meerblick wird Frühstück frisch zubereitet. Über den Tag hinweg können auch andere Mahlzeiten dort eingenommen werden.

Super saubere Unterkunft, diese wird geführt von einer sehr netten Familie. Sehr schöne und saubere Zimmer.

Die Gastgeber sind allesamt extrem herzlich und hilfsbereit. Vom Rezeptions- über das Reinigungs- bis hin zum Frühstückspersonal wurde ich jeden Tag mit einem Lächeln begrüsst. Die Frühstücksauswahl ist sehr vielfältig, und man kann sogar warme Speisen bestellen. Der Strand ist ruhig und gepflegt. Als Gast kann man jederzeit eine Liege, ein Tischchen oder einen Sonnenschirm nutzen. Die Zimmer sind modern und verfügen über alles, was das Herz begehrt. Täglich wurde proaktiv gefragt, ob man eine Zimmer-Reinigung, Wasser oder sonst etwas benötigt. Man kann Ausflüge buchen oder direkt einen Roller mieten. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt von 7 auf 14 Tage verlängert, weil ich mich so wohlgefühlt habe. Das Mukrada House Mometel und das La La Lay Beach House gehören zusammen, daher bewerte ich mit diesem Feedback beide Unterkünfte gleichzeitig. Zum Abschied habe ich sogar Geschenke erhalten – vielen herzlichen Dank für alles! ❤️

Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und ein wenig „ab vom Schuss“. Für mehr Flexibilität empfehle ich, einen Roller zu mieten. Zwischen der Unterkunft und dem Strand verläuft eine Strasse, was mich persönlich jedoch nicht gestört hat.

A wonderful small hotel with beautifully decorated spacious rooms. The rooms with sea view have a nice balcony. Cleaning is done every day. Delicious breakfast; five types of fruit available every day. Hotel sun loungers are available on the beach.

Chambre proposée en bord de route à proximité d’un port industriel. Pas de double vitrage et donc très bruyant et très désagréable en terme de pollution. La terrasse du petit déjeuner donne aussi directement sur cette même route. J’ai demandé à changer de chambre, mais ce n’était pas possible. Le gérant m’a proposé d’annuler ma réservation en me disant que le remboursement pouvait prendre plusieurs jours. J’ai fait la demande d’annulation gratuite après mon départ. Il a refusé, j’ai donc payé les 3 nuits réservées sans y être resté m, alors qu’il m’avait confirmer le remboursement.

Super friendly staff. I had booked their budget economy room, but they upgraded me when I got there because a nicer room was open! They also helped give advice on airport transfers, restaurants, etc. and were available to book activities. The location is great you walk across the road and there's the beach right there. Now, this beach is where some of the boats come and go, so it isn't necessarily the most picturesque (but is the start point for many tours if you are booking any). But it's quiet, calm, warm, and full of shells. The hotel provides a little "beach bag" with towels and flip flops for use, as well as umbrellas and long chairs. I wanted something quiet and more "out of town" and this was it! Breakfast is at the little cafe next door. A nice buffet with ladies there to cook eggs/entrees as requested. Big comfortable beds, strong wifi. A nice big shower that actually had walls to keep the water in (something you don't always find in Thailand). Water bottles provided and daily room cleaning offered.

Getting anywhere other than the beach/nextdoor cafe required walking along a pretty well-trafficked road. During the day, I would walk along the beach instead and return to the road. But at night, you pretty much have to walk on the edge and be careful.

It was lovely that bed chairs were provided on beach but could have benefited from padding. Lost a couple of items with laundry service so worth checking items in and out. Not the fault of hotel as it is outsourced.

We didn't like the service, nobody English-speaking was available to check us in. Prior to arriving, we didn't get our messages answered on Booking. Also, the headboard of the bed needs to be cleaned too, and sheets need to be washed once in a while with bleach to get rid of bad colouring.

A volte le recensioni entusiaste creano aspettative che, in questo caso, non rispecchiano l'esperienza avuta qui. La qualità prezzo è scarsa. D'accordo che sei difronte al mare etc. però mi aspettavo qualcosa di meglio per essere Tailandia. La cosa peggiore, il rumore in camera. Pagata come Deluxe, in 5 notti non ne abbiamo dormito una, che sia una. La camera si affaccia sulla strada e c'è un traffico continuo di macchine e motorini. Infernale. Nonostante ci siano i tappi per le orecchie in camera, questi non servono a niente. Abbiamo contrattato il transfer dall' aeroporto direttamente con la struttura sia all'andata che al ritorno. Via email mi avevano confermato 1400 bath totali, poi invece risulta che erano 1600 bath quando siamo arrivati (800 a tratta). Inoltre, il giorno della partenza, arrivati in apt abbiamo pagato con 1000 bath ma l'autista aveva solo 100bath di resto, intascandosi la differenza. La famigerata ospitalità di questa famiglia, una vera chimera. Nel senso che in altre zone della Tailandia l'ospitalità e i modi di fare sono stati eccezionali. Qui sono stati corretti, ma niente di che. Le escursioni che organizzano? Ne offrono 4, di cui 2 con la loro barca. E costano inoltre di più rispetto agli altri operatori che si trovano in zona (offrono le stesse cose). Bella presa in giro. Quando chiedi informazioni su altre zone e cosa fare, ti devi arrangiare per conto tuo. Orario colazione dalle 7.00 alle 9.30 mi sembra un po' risicato. Tralasciamo la colazione halal e la mancanza di varietà, è la qualità e freschezza dei prodotti che manca. Cornetti striminziti, cornflakes per niente croccanti ma andati, la frutta insipida, in Tailandia, ma dai!

The best! I loved it here! The staff was so nice and got me a deal on a boat tour!! The bed was big and comfy and it was the cleanest bathroom I have seen on my travels so far. The showers were hot. They supplied free waters and a beach bag of towels and shoes. I would definitely stay here again.

I really wish I had read individual reviews before booking this instead of trusting the overall score. If I had done that I would have known that the reality is a far cry from what is promoted. On Google Maps it says that this is a four-star hotel - alas, that could not be farther from the truth. This establishment is located directly on a busy street - in fact they provide you with earbuds... - does not have a real reception and is basically nearer to a two star than anything else. Had a miserable stay and cannot recommend at all.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The family who run the hotel are very friendly and very helpful. Our room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The room was cleaned everyday. Breakfast is just right with fresh fruit and freshly made hot items. Location for us was perfect, opposite a nice quiet beach with shade from trees and just a short walk or ride to busier areas. We rented a scooter from the hotel for a very reasonable rate. We would definitely stay here again.

Schon gleich bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr warmherzig begrüßt und waren sehr begeistert von dem Zimmer. Da es erst vor einem Monat fertig gestellt wurde, war alles noch sehr neu. Der Besitzer hat auf jeden Fall ein Händchen zum Einrichten, es war alles sehr schön und geschmackvoll. Die ganze Familie arbeitet dort mit, beim der Reinigung, wie auch im Restaurant. Und jeder stand mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Selbst wenn wir nur über die Straße auf die Liege wollten, hat es meistens jemand gesehen, lief mit, stellte die Liegen auf, wischte sie ab und brachte auch einen Sonnenschirm wenn nötig. Da kann man sich nur wohlfühlen. Frühstück fanden wir klasse, 1 A Obst und alles was man braucht. Zu der Restaurantansammlung etwas entfernt am Stand, konnte man gut zu Fuß gehen, vielleicht 8 Minuten, oder man hat für 100 Bath ein Tuctuc genommen. Einfach -schön :)

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The rooms are cozy, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. What truly made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy, which made a huge difference. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, warmth, and a perfect location in Krabi.

Zeer vriendelijk gastvrouw en een heel huiselijke en familiale sfeer. Ontbijt was uitstekend met een mooi uitzicht op het strand. De kamers zijn ook weer proper en recent gerenoveerd met oog voor detail. We hebben extra bij geboekt omdat het een heel fijn verblijf was.

La spiaggia davanti all hotel potrebbe essere più curata, molti vetri e plastica in giro. Qualche barchetta parte di mattina e ritorna la sera, quindi acqua non limpidissima. Colazione con prodotti freschi ma potrebbe migliorare.

The entire stay at Mukrada was very nice! The staff is a welcoming family and very attentive to the needs of tourists. The breakfast was tasty and generous. Right across the road is the sea with clean water, very few stones, where we could swim without protective slippers. It was a pleasant stay for our family!

Something needs to be done about the water pump which makes loud vibrating noises. If it were moved outside the hotel it would be perfect. I used earplugs but they were not comfortable.

Das Zimmer ist sauber und der Hotelier ist sehr nett. Frühstück war gut.

Das Zimmer ist sehr laut, jede minute fährt ein LKW ca. 6 m vor dem Haus entlang und die Fenster sind nicht schallgeschützt. Der Strand ist zum Chillen schlecht geeignet, lauter Boote die Gruppen für Touren einsammeln horten sich vor dem Haus. Fernseher und Safe auf dem Zimmer war defekt und der Safe war nicht fixiert. Alles in allem sind die Übernachtungskosten für dieses Zimmer viel zu hoch angesetzt und 4 Sterne sind 2 zu viel.

Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt und können es mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und das Personal außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit – der Service ist wirklich besonders hervorzuheben. Egal ob Roller leihen, Wäscheservice, Anschluss-Transfer oder die Organisation einer privaten Longtailboot-Tour: Alles wurde schnell, unkompliziert und mit viel Engagement möglich gemacht. Das Frühstück war für uns absolut ausreichend und lecker. Es gibt thailändische Gerichte sowie frisch zubereitete Ei-Varianten, sodass man gut in den Tag starten kann. Kleine Abzüge gibt es für uns bei den Betten und der Lage. Die Matratzen waren uns persönlich etwas zu hart. Zudem liegt das Hotel direkt an einer viel befahrenen Hauptstraße, was man – je nach Zimmer – hören kann. Der Strand direkt gegenüber ist in Ordnung, aber eher durchschnittlich. Positiv ist jedoch, dass sich gute Restaurants, Massagen und Bars in einem nahegelegenen kleinen Zentrum fußläufig erreichen lassen. Die sehr schönen Strände Klong Muang Beach und Tubkaek Beach sind mit dem Roller schnell und unkompliziert erreichbar und absolut empfehlenswert. Unterm Strich überwiegen für uns ganz klar die positiven Eindrücke, vor allem durch den hervorragenden Service und die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Teams. Wer mit der Lage an der Hauptstraße leben kann, findet hier ein sehr gutes Hotel mit viel Herz.

Besser als auf den Bildern! Wirklich gutes Zimmer. Sehr sauber, gut duftend, 30m vom Strand, gemütliches Bett. Insgesamt sehr hochwertig eingerichtet. Nebenan gibt es das Restaurant Ocean Hill, günstig und lecker mit top Ausblick. 7/11 in der Nähe. Trotz Straße sehr ruhig. Wir waren im LaLayBeach House, ist der neue Anbau hinter dem Haupthaus. Zimmerreinigung hat sogar alle herumliegenden Kleidungsstücke gefaltet, das ist ausgezeichnet. Super Badezimmer. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Riesen TV. Bissl weg vom Trubel aber in Max 10min zu fuss (slowmotion) erreichbar. Man braucht kein Transportmittel. Wir wollten Privatsphäre und bekamen diese. Der Strandabschnitt ist quasi für einen allein. Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Ihr braucht etwas, sieh organisieren es.

Das Frühstück war ok, das Nötigste. Größtes Verbesserungspotential. Der Strandblick ist aus der „zweiten Reihe“, faktisch richtig, jedoch eingeschränkter als im Haupthaus an der Straße, dafür ruhiger. Man könnte den Strandabschnitt auf Trapp bringen und hochwertigere Liegen anschaffen. Dann wäre es ne 10 geworden. Aber das wäre ein Bonus. Für die Sylvester Zeit ein wenig überteuert, aber das ist halt Angebot und Nachfrage. Alles Kritik auf höchstem Niveau ;) Ihr macht hier keinen Fehler!

A lovely hotel at a wonderful location in Klong Muang beach area. Just a short walk from excellent beachside restaurants and activities. The kindness of the staff and level of thoughtfulness are remarkable throughout the entire stay. Breakfast is very tasty and served with seaview. The rooms are spacious, extremely comfortable and clean. Amazing view and very chill seaview terrace are the cherry on top!
