It was super clean, beautiful, fully equipped, with a side view of the river. We are extremely satisfied and would definitely come back!

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026L’emplacement est vraiment exceptionnel. L’appartement est situé à proximité immédiate de la place Ribeira, tout en étant suffisamment à l’écart de l’agitation et du bruit. C’est un point de départ idéal pour visiter Porto, avec de nombreux commerces, restaurants, bars et lieux d’intérêt accessibles à pied. La proximité du Douro est également un vrai plus. L’appartement est par ailleurs agréable et nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour découvrir Porto à pied.
Nous n’avons pas relevé de point négatif particulier lors de notre séjour. L’appartement était agréable et son emplacement est vraiment idéal pour visiter Porto.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026The location is ideal! Right by the river. The staff were so so helpful and friendly. Being able to leave bags after check out was a great bonus. We just used google maps to get to the reception and didn’t find any issues with this. The room was exactly what we wanted. A hub to then go out and explore Porto, nothing fancy, but comfy and had evening we needed. You are in a busy part of the city so you do hear street noise, but it did not affect our sleep at all (even with the windows open) Would go back here in a heartbeat.
Just a warning that there isn’t air con as it’s an old building. But they do provide a pretty decent fan which kept our room cool.

Nice-looking apartment and very central location, but unfortunately not worth the price. Being on the ground floor of a busy tourist street meant significant noise and a persistent unpleasant smell, especially at night. We left earlier than planned. While we appreciated only being charged for the nights stayed, the nightly rate remains far too high for the comfort and quality offered.

La habitación es pequeña, pero le faltaba optimizar donde dejar las pertenencias, en el baño no hay ni un sitio donde colgar las toallas. Tan solo un pequeño perchero, para todo fuera. La cama, son dos pequeñas unidas y no al mismo nivel. La ubicación es muy buena, pero si quieres descansar es difícil con una zona tan de marcha justo abajo.

La cama es incómoda, de muelles y no es una cama doble, son dos pequeñas juntas, por tanto en medio aun te clavas más los muelles del colchón. Hace muchísimo calor en las habitaciones, tienen ventilador (no aire acondicionado), para quien no se fije como me pasó a mí al reservar… y si abres las ventanas para que entre fresquito no puedes dormir del ruido de abajo, hay mil terrazas y se oye muchísimo cuando recogen estas, se oye mucho barullo de gente…

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026Tuvimos un grave inconveniente de limpieza. Al llegar por la noche a la habitación las sábanas estaban sucias, parecían llenas de caca de paloma. Hicimos fotos y vídeos porque de esta forma y con la suciedad de las sábanas era imposible dormir. Tuvimos que quitarlas todas y poner toallas para poder descansar. El hotel nos dijo muy amablemente que tramitó la devolución de la estancia pero a día de hoy sigo sin recibir la devolución. Por todo lo demás estuvo bien pero esto es algo delicado y bastante asqueroso y más aún después de llegar de un día de trabajo.

All the floors were filthy! We walked barefoot and our feet were black within a minute. I complained to the staff but they told me that it will take too long to do a thorough cleaning so they will just sweep. The bed feels like a solid box that dips in the middle. Very uncomfortable. The kitchen didn’t even come with dish soap and a cloth for washing dishes. We couldn’t clean our plates without using the dishwasher. No cutting board, etc. … and we lost power on the day we were leaving for an unknown reason.

Reviewed Jun 25, 2026Très bon séjour dans l'ensemble. L'emplacement est exceptionnel, particulièrement pour profiter de la fête de la Saint-Jean. Malgré l'animation et le bruit extérieur, les fenêtres isolent très bien et, une fois fermées, on entend à peine ce qui se passe dehors.
Quelques points pourraient toutefois être améliorés. Le matelas est très dur et ne couvre pas complètement la structure du lit, ce qui n'a pas permis un sommeil confortable. Dans la cuisine, un essuie-vaisselle serait utile. Dans la salle de bain, il manque des porte-serviettes, ce qui rend difficile le séchage des serviettes entre deux utilisations. La brosse des toilettes mériterait également d'être remplacée, car elle est très rouillée. Enfin, la prise électrique de la salle de bain semble endommagée et il est difficile d'y brancher ou de retirer un appareil comme un sèche-cheveux. Ce sont essentiellement de petits détails faciles à corriger, mais qui amélioreraient sensiblement le confort des futurs voyageurs.

Reviewed Jun 25, 2026Nous avons aimé le fait d’avoir pu annuler la réservation de l’établissement sans frais… Heureusement que nous avons trouvé rapidement un logement pour nous tous malgré la perte de temps qu’on aurait voulu éviter.
On nous a attribué un appartement qui sentait les égouts et un appartement irrespirable tellement il y avait de l’humidité. Les hôtes nous ont avoué connaître les problèmes des appartements mais nous les ont loués quand même. Il y a un problème de santé pour les visiteurs qui louent ces appartements.

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Rezeption, großzügiges Zimmer mit sehr bequemen Betten und einer kleinen Einbauküche ausgestattet. Sehr schönes Badezimmer. Die Lage dieser Unterkunft ist einzigartig und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Falta de varões na Instalação sanitária e mais cabides para colocação de roupa. A entrada exterior do edifício podia ter melhor apresentação e devia ter um sinal de indicação do alojamento.

Reviewed May 26, 2026Studio apartment up a narrow old street right off the main square on the river front. Direct access to river front restaurants, pont Louis bridge and also quick walk up into the old town. Fantastic location. Taxis will drop you off just above apartment as no vehicle access to river front. Renovated old town house I think. Safe as two doors to lock for access. Directly above some shops and a bakery and near restaurants so some noise early morning but I think you’d get that anywhere in Porto as a busy place with lots of traffic in the other areas. Comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen and decent sized bathroom. The bathroom would benefit from an extractor as only a very small window in there and there is black damp on the ceiling above shower but not too bad. The view is across at other old property’s but sideways you can see the river and square. If, like us, you just want a comfy bed and hot shower and are out all day just coming back to sleep/shower then this studio room was perfect and very reasonably priced. There was no air conditioning but due to being tucked away and thick old stone walls I think it would keep cool. The staff were very helpful and available nearly all day in a small reception room set behind. We enjoyed staying here it was perfect for us for 4 nights.
Some damp in bathroom as mentioned,needs an extractor no view as such but you get what you pay for. If you want front row you have to pay for it. I think maybe the 1 room apartments have the views?

Reviewed May 26, 2026Centrale ligging. Mooie kamer van alle gemakken voorzien en lekker bed. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel bij de receptie.
Het kan ‘s nachts rumoerig zijn door de ligging aan de terassen. Maar je slaapt er makkelijk doorheen.

Door difficult to lock and remove key...maybe a boomer problem! Instructions and finding reception at a different location was slightly baffling and stressful. Clearer and earlier checking in instructions would help.
