Very friendly and helpful hosts. Ajith (son) has very good English and was always happy to talk about any subject and provide advice on the area or things to do. Parents were also very friendly. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. We ate all our breakfasts and dinners there. We went on a boat trip trough the backwaters with them, and the new bikes were great for exploring the area. We would definitely recommend staying there.

Breakfast was too tasty. It's a homely food prepared by the hosts mom. Very calm and quiet place with a pool which can be enjoyable by kids. Well maintained garden with play activities for kids and enjoyed the tasty guavas from the gardens.

Absolutely lovely place! Very very nice rooms, and unbelievably delicious food! The hosts mum is also the best cook ever and both are very welcoming and sweet :). Best food I’ve had so far in Kerala - especially the banana flower curry ❤️❤️❤️

Die Familie ist unglaublich lieb und hilfsbereit. Ich war solo unterwegs, und habe mir vor Ort den Arm gebrochen. Ajid hat mich bei allen Wegen (Ärzte, Krankenhäuser, CT, Reisebüro etc) ganz geduldig und immer freundlich, hilfsbereit begleitet. Alleine hätte ich das nie hinbekommen! Ich bin sehr angetan dass es solche Menschen gibt!

Everything was great! Ajith and his parents are very welcoming an helpful, room was clean and comfortable, walking distance from different restaurants and we even got to do kayaking. There is a pool and even bicycles for those interested. A great experience with great people! :)

Pas de repas sur place mais il s est chargé de me récupérer un repas absolument excellent ! J ai regretté de n y passer qu une nuit !

During our stay at Kuttickattil Resort nearby Kumarakom, we had a great experience. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the outdoor activities, which my family thoroughly enjoyed. The resort offers a variety of photo spots that are perfect for capturing beautiful memories. We particularly loved the morning govt. Ferry boating from arpookara to Alappuzha via Kumarakom vemband lake and resort arrange a canoe boat ride and kayaking, cycling experience which was both thrilling and adventures. The swimming pool was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience. The beautiful park and many trees, evening breeze and sunset were awesome. The organic paddy farm and some vegetables and many fruit trees are available here. The Kuttickattil farm walk through banks of Meenachil river make my mind cooler and peaceful. ♥

My vacation was too short, otherwise i like to stay more days here.

Exceptionally hospitable hosts.

This host family tries to make you as comfortable as possible. We had dinner twice and both times it was really good! The room has everything you need. Good bed, aircon+ fan. Clean bathroom with hot water in the evenings. The garden is also very lovely.

There is not so much to do in the neighbourhood. But they rent out kayaks and arranged tuktuks for us if we wanted to go somewhere, so not really a problem.

A perfect vacation encompassing - luxury of an entire apartment, view, facilities, food, hosts who take that xtra step to make you feel great...who remained awake and guides us to the location at 1.00 am and makes a hot dinner too.

The Kumarakom village is very nice and the most peaceful area of kumarakom is Arpookara village the north east part of kumarakom with open space for walking and large paddy fields and many fishing spots for fishing and the homestay have many activities like kayaking, canoe boating, good swimming pool, many bicycles for village visit. From the 📍kuttickattil homestay i took bicycle renral and explore the kumarakom and Arpookara vilage 🏡 I surely recommend to everyone who visiting kumarakom, can stay at kuttickattil homestay with budget price with home cooked food. 😋

Kumarakom village is very beautiful and scenic backwater destination. In kumarakom Cheepunkal sunrise view point is good sight seeing spot. From Cheepunkal sunrise view point just 8 kms and 19 minute's anyway is Kuttickattil Homestay there is a new road called Cheepunkal - Maniyaparamb road connecting Kumarakom village and Arpookara villages within 19 minutes . The new road from kumarakom to kuttickattil homestay is very beautiful with sun set view point, many birds, and the road is passing through the middle of lush green paddy fied. The Cheepunkal - Maniyaparamb road is very broader path and very scenic. This homestay is highly recommended for tourist who visiting kumarakom and kottayam district. They offer good ambiance rooms, swimming pool and kayaking and canoe boating etc in a budget rate in kumarakom. The homestay ambiance and the homely food is very healthy and delicious. The host is very helpful to arrange the tour activities during the staying days. They provide bicycles for sight seeing the whole places of kumarakom and Arpookara tourist villages. I will come back again soon with my whole families. ❤️❤️❤️

Our stay here was amazing! The family who owns it is so kind and hospitable. Everything is really fairly priced and the food was so delicious and healthy. The area is also really nice and cute, a really good place to wind down. Would definitely visit again if we’re nearby😊
