Reviewed Oct 22, 2025Pemandangan dr unit kami di Jesselton Residences sungguh tak terlupakan, dgn pemandangan laut yg luas dan tanpa hambatan yg memungkinkan kami melihat perahu datang dan pergi sepanjang hari dan matahari terbenam yg menakjubkan di malam hari, membuat sulit utk meninggalkan balkon. Apartemennya dilengkapi dgn baik dan segala yg kami butuhkan, termasuk dapur lengkap, mesin cuci, dan bahkan kulkas besar utk menyimpan minuman dan seafood segar dari pasar malam terdekat. Kami menyukai betapa dekatnya dgn terminal Jesselton Point, tempat kami melakukan perjalanan sehari ke Pulau Sapi dan Manukan, dan jalan makanan di Chinatown hanya beberapa langkah saja.

Reviewed Oct 14, 2025The unit had a beautiful sea facing view that made our mornings feel peaceful and relaxing, and everything inside was spotless with modern furnishings, a well equipped mini kitchen and a smart TV that had Netflix already logged in, while the host was very responsive and helpful during our stay. The location couldn’t be better being close to Gaya Street, cafes and the Sunday Market.
We have a slight delay during check in as the smart lock code didn’t work initially but it was quickly resolved after a call.

Walking distance to Jesselton Point for island trips Manukan, Sapi and to waterfront walkways, and not far from Suria Sabah and the evening markets. We were able to drop our bags and immediately set out exploring. The building gives you the perk of a rooftop pool, gym, and a concierge desk that was helpful with local directions, and the lobby and hallway areas looked polished and clean. The unit itself was bright and welcoming, with a comfortable sofa, TV, and ample WiFi coverage.

Reviewed Oct 8, 2025We absolutely loved waking up to the panorama of the sea and harbor from our balcony, with morning light glinting off boats down below and the overall layout felt spacious and airy with floor to ceiling windows in the living room; the building has solid shared facilities including a fitness room, swimming pool on a rooftop terrace, secure access keycard entry, CCTV in common corridors, and a guest lounge. All of which were clean and usable and the proximity to Jesselton Point ferry terminal, Suria Sabah mall, the Filipino Market and Gaya Street makes it extremely convenient to explore both land and sea excursions.
Sometimes the shower’s water pressure was a bit low, especially in the morning.

Reviewed Oct 7, 2025Overall the place delivered on its promise of modern comfort, striking sea views and excellent location. The apartment was spacious, air conditioned throughout with a fully furnished kitchen and living room that opened up to a balcony facing the water, which made evenings very pleasant. Building amenities are very good. There is an outdoor swimming pool, 24 hours security, reliable lifts and free WiFi in common spaces. We also liked that there is private parking on site, which made coming and going easier since traffic can get busy along Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens. As for location, you’re a short walk from Jesselton Point Marina and Ferry Terminal, which makes island hopping super easy. Suria Sabah mall is nearby, Signal Hill Observatory is a nice sunset spot not too far and the Sunday market on Gaya Street adds a lot of local flavour.
The kitchen lacked some everyday basics, we didn’t find salt & pepper.

Reviewed Oct 1, 2025We loved how spacious and well lit the unit was, with full amenities like a kitchen, dining space, iron, air conditioning, and a hot shower and it was located right in the heart of Kota Kinabalu which made walking to places like Gaya Street, Wisma Merdeka, and the waterfront extremely easy.
The only slight issue was that finding the correct parking entrance and slot was confusing on the first day, but once figured out, everything else went smoothly.

Reviewed Sep 19, 2025My stay at the Jesselton apartment was thoroughly enjoyable as the place was spacious, well decorated, and equipped with a full kitchen, washer and even a water filter and the highlight was definitely the beautiful panoramic sea view from the balcony that made every morning feel special, especially since it was located within walking distance to Jesselton Point Jetty, which made it very convenient for island hopping to Sapi or Manukan.
I did notice that the Wi-Fi was occasionally slow during the evening hours, especially when trying to stream videos.

Plus it was just a 5 minutes walk to the bustling Night Food Market near the waterfront and IMAGO Mall was only a short Grab ride away.
TV only had a few basic channels working and didn’t offer much for evening entertainment.

Segala sesuatu mudah dijangkau, mulai dr kafe dn apotek di lantai bawah hingga Terminal Ferry Jesselton Point yg dpat dijangkau dgan berjalan kaki hanya sebentar.
AC di ruang tamu memerlukan waktu cukup lama utk mendinginkan ruangan selama bagian terpanas hari.

The location was unbeatable, just a 5 minutes walk to Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal, where we took a boat to the islands in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. Suria Sabah Mall is literally across the road and there are many restaurants and cafes within walking distance. And also close to Gaya Street Sunday Market, Signal Hill Observatory Platform and a short Grab ride to Imago Shopping Mall.The building facilities were impressive, 24 hours security, modern gym and a lovely pool with views of the sea.
Our only complaint was that the shower in the bathroom had low water pressure. It still worked, but it could be improved.

Just steps from Jesselton Point, ideal for picking up island tours, and easy walking to Atkinson Clock Tower, Gaya Street Sunday Market and the Esplanade waterfront. Loved strolling in the heritage area before dinner.
One small issue is Wi‑Fi speed dipped slightly during the evening.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2025The unit we stayed was spacious and well-equipped with comfortable beds, full kitchenette, strong Wi-Fi and spotless. The waterfront development itself is beautifully done with Citypads above the popular Gallery Shoppes. Daily essentials, cafes, and even gelato spots like Mitoya are just downstairs or within a short walk along the promenade. The place is not far off from the other touristic places in KK, just less than 10-15 minutes away from the Filipino market, the waterfront, etc. Great view from top of the building and 2 min walk to the Jesselton Quay.

Reviewed Jan 17, 2025If you are coming just for short staycation then here is the right place. First many shops near the location. Some seafood stores nearby taste really good. Room that provided to us was well equipped with kitchen utensils. We could make some light cooking.
No services like hotel but not really a big issue. Different experience with self check in and out.
