Really good accomodation and a perfect base for a safari tour! We especially loved the kind family hosting the homestay as well as the amazing food!

The room was huge!! Fabulous bathroom outdoors to watch the birds whilst having a shower, great pool and grounds were full of wildlife. Reception organized our safari tour very easily.

We waren met onze twee kinderen van 2 en 4. We hadden een ochtend safari op aanraden en deze was echt prachtig. Het is 15min rijden naar het park.We genoten van het prachtige uitzicht terwijl de jongens in het.zwembad spelen.

Las instalaciones, la piscina y el restaurante estaban muy por encima del precio y la habitación era cómoda y grande. El aire acondicionado funcionaba correctamente y el ventilador no se oía nada, era perfecto

Nada, es una ESTAFA. Te cancelan la habitación en cuanto te la dan para que no puedas comentar la estancia. Un basurero, instalaciones viejas, suciedad, un cuchitril de mala muerte con bichos. Solo les interesa sacarte el dinero del safari, razón por la que en cuanto llegas te obligan de una manera muy poco elegante a PAGAR por adelantado el safari, la noche, desayuno y demás. Pedimos una factura no nos dieron nada más que un papel en blanco… lo peor de Sri Lanka.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön in der Natur gelegen. Man kann von der Terasse aus Affen, Pfaue und weitere Tiere beobachten. Besonders süß war der Welpe! Wir bekamen gute Tipps von dem Angstellten. Außerdem bekamen wir zum Empfang einen Fruchtsaft aus einer typischen Frucht.

Die Unterkunft ist einfach aber sehr sauber. Die Familie hilft bei der Buchung von Safari-Touren und der Weiterreise.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr süß und hat ein wunderschönen, friedlichen Garten mitten in den Reisfeldern. Die Besitzer waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit, sie haben mich zum Bankomat gefahren, mir die Gegend ein wenig gezeigt und mir mit dem Bus nach Ella geholfen. Ich habe über die Unterkunft außerdem eine Safari in den udawalawe Nationalpark gebucht, das hat reibungslos geklappt. Die Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor der Haustür, also super leicht zu erreichen und es gibt was zu essen. Alles perfekt :)

Alle von der Familie sind sehr freundlich. Das Haus und der Garten sind wunderschön. Man kann in mitten der Reisfelder Pfauen und weitere Tiere beobachten . Es gab gleich ein Willkommens Gebäck und Getränke und die Tochter und der Sohn der Familie haben für uns Essen und eine Safari organisiert. Das Essen ist direkt von Moms kitchen (der Mutter )und ist extrem lecker. (Empfelung Kottu mit Chicken und rice and Curry) Bei der Safari haben wir extra gesagt das wir nicht unbedingt einen Leoparden sehen wollen und der Guide hat sich viel Zeig genommen uns alle Tiere in Ruhe zu zeigen. (Wir haben ihn trotzdem gesehen) Alles isr sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet und wir können diese Unterkunft jedem weiter empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Schön in der Natur gelegen und wir konnten schon viele Tiere beobachten. Grosser erfrischender Pool. Sumith ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Mitarbeiter und hat alles Möglich gemacht. Wir haben sehr gutes Essen erhalten.

This place is a great spot in Udawalawe. Just out of town so supremely quiet and peaceful. About 10 cabanas around a garden that is being planted up with a pool. The staff couldn't be more helpful; bookings safari's, tuk tuk's and a taxi to Ella. Breakfast was simple but good. Great value stay.

Great place, rooms are beautiful, pool is beautiful, staff is friendly and great. Food is really good .We visited the national park for a safari which was great too! Would recommend this place and taking a safari from here.

Free drink on arrival, very nice clean bathroom, 3 beds with individual mosquito nets! Nice communal area with super friendly staff who helped to arrange transport to and from the hotel. Safari was amazing, worth the 5.30am alarm call!!!

We stay one night here it was fantastic stay. Really nice staff. We get the dinner here super. In the night time garden was beautiful with lights. We booked the grate safari tour from them .we saw leopard ,Elephants and lot of animals . Driver was super he know the everywhere of the park . Very comfortable jeep. Next day we booked the taxi from them prices was cheapest.before booked the taxi we ask the town is was expensive .but here is reasonable prices. Thanks for all.

Probably the nicest guesthouse we stayed in in that price range during our trip. Enjoyed the peaceful vibe after visiting some more busy touristy places previously. We also took their safari tour to udawalawe. The national park was really amazing.

Great Hotel! The cottage are spacious, clean and very comfy (huge beds)! The outdoor bathroom was really special. We did the morning half day safari with namal who was very engaging, excitable and knowledgeable about the national park. The facilities were clean, with top quality on arrival service.

The best place we stayed in during our 3 weeks at Lanka. Owner is extremely nice, organized the most amazing safari, the place is absolutely wonderful 10/10

The property was clean and large, beds comfy and the bathroom clean and nice. Safari organised was good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The safari was great. Everything was organized very well for us.

It was very hard to find but the place does exist. We were texting through WhatsApp. The owner wanted us to pay right away all in cash. We didn’t have enough cash on us so we payed half of the price up front and the rest later. It seemed a little weird. We payed 20000 per person for the half day tour although we later find out some people get it at 17500 or less.

The setting is stunning - so peaceful. The staff were great and Damian who is available to join on safaris is so wonderful - we went for a walk and on safari with him, he was very knowledgable and great company.

The location is great, the views from the room are really good and the staff were so nice and helpful. Ask them about arranging a safari for you, they saved ours!

Lovely to have a bit of luxury when travelling with two kids. Each had their own bed and loved the swimming pool. Grateful for the complimentary toothbrushes.

We stayed here for one night before our safari trip in udawalawe National park. The hotel is located near the udawalawe park. The room of the here clean and beautiful .staff is very friendly . They organized our safari trip it was wonderful . Everything was perfect .

We stay here for one night .they welcomed us well. The rooms were very clean and the staff always helped us.we had dinner here and it was really delicious and we were given curd and honey as a side dish.The Hotel provided us with a jeep and very good knowledgeable driver to go on Safari the next morning .We saw many animals in the udawalawe park.we were very happy and really recommend here for stay.

The room was clean, spacious and new. It had a comfy bed, air con and a fan. The place is in a very quiet area where you can relax but also close to a few restaurants around. It also has a small balcony outside. The breakfast (Sri Lankan style) was huge and delicious. We also went on a safari with them and it was amazing. The owner is knowledgeable and despite not having a great weather in the morning, he was very committed to finding all the animals for us (as we did see everything, even leopards). Local experience, hospitable owners and comfortable!

This was a great launch point for our Udawalawe safari. The hotel helped arrange the tour for us as well as a taxi to our next destination. We enjoyed the “glamping” experience!

We booked safari through the hotel and we can not be more happy as we had wonderful driver/guide sanjeewa He is very knowledgeable, he knew how to find lot of different birds and animals and took us close to elephants. He is also very good driver, we felt safe (we had toddler with us) and had great time with sanjeewa

Location is lovely with a range of birds, monkeys and even fish in the little river. Rooms are huge and the biggest we have stayed in in Sri Lanka despite being he cheaper price of the rooms. Food was really good and overall the best value for money that you will find in Sri Lanka. It was a lovely extra touch for the manager to give us the leaving gift and extend our check out time to later in the day so we can do the safari and have time to freshen up.

A complete service.were warmly welcomed and it was really nice. Our breakfast was prepared at the safari park and the safari was wonderful. Thought of staying another day.

An amazing lodge located in a beautiful setting next to a beautiful river. I had a great time staying at our lodge. Cozy atmosphere, really good breakfast and dinner was delicious.

The room was very clean and spacious! The bed was nice and long! The host was very happy and friendly, helped us with every aspect of our safari.

Place is beautiful, well maintained. Ros are spacious, specially the family suites. Food is good. Staffs are extremely helpful. Pool is clean and not too deep , so everyone can enjoy. Kids loved the playing area.

Everything was very well organised and staff were very friendly. They organised our full day safari and our guide, dushan,was fantastic. He was very patient and respectful of the animals and kept us informed about what we were seeing. There was lots of food provided on the safari too. The pool was clean and pleasant. Rooms are spacious and private.

The property location is great for a safari stopover as it is located 12 minutes from the national park entry. The staff is caring and happy to assist. Best feature is the outdoor pool which is great.
