Beautiful property. Big gym. Pretty beach. Good food. Farm to table restaurant was a highlight of our stay!

If you are a couple without children, you won’t be able to have a relaxing holiday here. It is, basically, a children’s camp. All pools are full of either screaming children or teenagers playing ball and being loud. They have 3 pool areas and none of those are quiet / adults only. We spent three nights and were not able to find a quiet place during this time. Also, they assigned us a room facing the biggest kids pool … Where is a common sense to give this room to a couple! Had to change rooms. Beach was polluted and impossible to swim. If you don’t go early in the morning you won’t be able to secure a bed by the beach or the pool. People are allowed to smoke in the beds by the beach. So if you are not a smoker you have to suffer your neighbors.

The gardens and pool area were exceptional, as was the beach. The on site restaurants were also sublime. We especially enjoyed Raizes - it’s a must try! The staff were all amazing with our 8 month old baby, it was our first holiday as a family and they couldn’t have made it any easier for us.

A buffet style dinner area, similar to how the property serves its breakfast, would be a good addition to the à la carte restaurants. This gives more flexibility when with kids - otherwise we loved everything!

As instalação são excelentes. Jardins bem cuidados, piscinas de água salgada sempre mto bem tratadas e um staff dedicado e atenciosos.

As refeições de almoços e jantares é muito mal. Paga-se muito para o que é servido. Já é a 2’ vez que lá fico hospedada, normalmente 12 dias e se quiser comer melhor temos que sair do resort. Exceto o pequeno-almoço, que este é de excelência. Muitos parabéns ao responsável. É muita variedade e a qualidade do melhor. A equipa é de uma atenção, dedicação e profissionalismo 5*.

No había enchufes en las mesitas de noche de la cama Avisa con antelación que llegábamos a las 8:30 al hotel y quw estuviera la habitación disponible. También avisé con antelación que nos iríamos pasadas las 5pm en la vuelta y que tmbn nos dejaran la habitación. Ni en la llegada ni en la salida.

Wunderbare Lage. Sehr freundliches und immer hilfsbereites Personal. Man kann dieses Resort nur wärmsten empfehlen.

Wundervolle Anlage! Sehr gepflegter Garten, weitläufig, die Gäste verteilen sich gut. Alles tip top gepflegt. Vier Restaurants mit guter Küche teilweise mit gehobenem Anspruch. Service, Sauberkeit alles top!

Getränke & Cocktails völlig überteuert! Es lohnt sich außerhalb essen zu gehen. Tolle Restaurants gleicher Qualität 30% günstiger, teilweise mit grandioser Aussicht aufs Meer inklusive Sonnenuntergang. Zimmer sind sauber aber teilweise in die Jahre gekommen. Die Unterkunft ist zwischenzeitlich kein reines Hotel sondern auch eine Ferienanlage mit vermieteten Wohnungen.

Great beach

Problems with restaurants. Had to leave hotel for dinner constantly because of overbooking.

This was our second visit and Vilalara is still as wonderful as last time - the location on top of the cliff with a beautiful beach, the breakfast buffet is excellent, and this time we travelled with friends and enjoyed the padel court and thalasso therapy - both were great!

Das Frühstück ist phänomenal, leckeres frisch gebackenes Brot, regionale Spezialitäten, der Meerblick von der Terrasse einzigartig. Die Zimmer sind gut durchdacht, geschmackvoll und bieten Rückzugsorte. Der Strand ist fussläufig unterhalb des Hotels und nahezu privat, Liegenservice, frische Handtücher bieten besten Comfort. Leider war im Meer dieses mal baden verboten - das hat etwas das traumhafte Erleben getrübt. Es gibt weitere Pools, die aushelfen.

Das Meer war leider nicht sauber, baden war an einigen Tagen nicht erlaubt. Sonst gibt es wenig zu bemängeln. Tolle Anlage, sehr angenehm und freundlich.

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage mit fantastischen Park und einem wunderschönen Strandbereich. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Frühstück ist reichhaltig mit qualitativ guten Produkten. Diverse Golfplätze in der Umgebung.

При парковке автомобиля нам сбили настройки сидения и это было очень неприятно, возможно нам пытались зарядить автомобиль и поэтому листали бортовой компьютер, но автомобиль мы получили в измененном состоянии и это было не приятно. Персонал забывчив и сух, но, возможно, это наплыв туристов

The food and drinks were a little expensive

This property has the best gardens, no competition! Absolutely beautiful. Also, the staff, especially the Indian staff (Kumar and Santosh) were really amazing.

Only one thing: they charge for using steam/sauna. This seems a bit a bit surprising, for a 5 star resort that charges $600/room. That's one reason why we will go with Vila vita next time, as they don't charge for steam and sauna, which we like to take daily.

amazing beautiful property, very well maintained and the 2 bed room ocean facing apartment was stunning, staff went out of the way to make us feel comfortable and important . Special thanks to all the golf cart/buggy drivers who were always available at short notice, also special word of thanks for Harman at the Italian restaurant , she was very nice and helpful and knew all about the best dishes to order . The breakfast was superb too on all days and we tried most of the restaurants there and food was delicious everywhere . The view from our apartment as well as from so many other places in the resort was Magnificent.

If I really have to be picky could say the wifi was bit weak at some places in the resort, and the fact that all the restaurants in the resort are a bit on the expensive side .

Het ontbijt is echt uitmuntend: verse broodjes, alle mogelijke ei-gerechten vers gemaakt, prachtige kazen en beleg, fruit en allerlei taarten en goede verse koffie. Personeel is heel aardig en behulpzaam. mooie ruime kamers met een groot balkon. Het resort heeft meerdere zwembaden met handdoeken en fijne ligbedjes. Het was er rustig en aangenaam.

Aunque el personal es amable, el servicio de limpieza de habitaciones, poco eficiente, debe mejorar. habíamos reservado 7 noches, finalmente por razones personales tuvimos que recortar dos días la estancia, nos obligaron a pagar ala s siete noches, primero con el pretexto de haber reservado por booking, cuando booking dio conformidad dijeron que era política del hotel. ni siquiera descontaron el coste de los desayunos no consumidos. lamentable, no volveremos

Vorsaison: etwas viel Personal. Einer nimmt Bestellung auf, Zweiter serviert, Dritter schenkt nach, Vierter räumt ab. Nach dem Essen wurden wir 4x von unterschiedlichem Servicepersonal gefragt welchen Dessert wir ausgesucht haben.. Wir hatten noch volle Weingläser und wollten erst austrinken. Das nervt! Die Speisen & Getränke in den hoteleigenen Restaurants sind sehr, sehr teuer.

The setting here is truly stunning and the access to the beach below is super easy. Staff was excellent and relaxed. Beautiful setting for breakfast.

Pool usage on the main deck is a bit tricky since there were times folks were eating so you just felt like using the pool was off. Maybe the meals shouldn’t be by the pool until dark?

It was an absolutely fantastic stay. From someone who has traveled all over the world and stays predominantly in 5 star hotels. This was truly a 5 star experience Breakfast was fantastic, the staff were kind and helpful and the hotel itself very well designed particularly with the landscape.

Der Garten ist wunderschön, eine traumhafte Anlage. Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und das Bett war extrem bequem. Das Zimmer sauber und schön und das Gym einfach top ausgestattet mit besten Geräten/Hanteln.

Kleinigkeiten. Das Hotel hat viele Kleinkinder beherbergt, was man in der Nacht (und auch am Pool) dann deutlich hörte (Baby durgeschrien usw). Es ist ein Familienhotel und das gehört dazu. Daher war es ok :-)

Our room was a bit sparce for furniture and I think they recently painted it so had a paint smell that was obvious when we closed door at night. The second night we left doors open and it was better.

It’s hard to find the right words for this place — we had an incredible stay. The views are breathtaking, and the design (both inside and outside) is really unique and beautiful. The staff truly made the experience special. We were celebrating our birthdays, and they surprised us with cake and champagne in our room, plus little thoughtful gestures throughout the day, which we truly appreciate. Everything was spotless, rooms cleaned perfectly every day, and even in the off-season all facilities were well maintained. The pools were perfectly clean, and there was a heated one available too. Great food, amazing atmosphere, and a really relaxing stay. We’d definitely love to come back!

Acosta restaurant and coral restaurant service is just teribble, they always forget something, never fill drings, fotget children orders and so on and In general service level in hotel is very bad. Everything you have to ask 10 times.

What a beautiful hotel, the grounds are stunning and immaculate. Our room was really spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the gardens with a view of the sea in the distance. My daughter was impressed with the gym and we enjoyed both Padel and Pickle Ball. The staff were friendly and welcoming with a special mention to Jessica who stood out and the new young pool attendants who started on 1st April who you could see were wanting to make an impression. The breakfasts were fantastic, lots of variety and quality produce. Sadly we found the food not 5 star level in the restaurants that we dinned in, mainly A Costa, particularly our last meal which really wasn’t great. The Caesar salad seemed like all the Parmesan from the whole hotel had been dropped on it, it was far too much, so much so it put my daughter off and the club sandwich I had was not great at all with bits of gristle in the turkey putting me off and the fries were extremely salty (and I love salt). The prices are on the high side and being 5 star you expect to be impressed with the food. Also 2 nights we had complementary bread two nights we didn’t and had to pay for it. We’ve stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world and sadly food wise this was not to the same level for us. One other thing to add, as I mention the grounds are stunning however at the bottom of the steps to the beach you are met with an area with lots of rubbish, broken glass, broken door etc, and rather messy areas behind the hut. I’m not sure if it’s the hotel’s responsibility but it looked a mess and definitely not like it looks in the promo photo which is a real shame All in all for us it’s a shame as we 100% would have come back if it wasn’t for how we felt about the food and why the review lost a star for us.
