• Location: The property was in a convenient spot, close to where we had work. The overall area was good, even though the streets were narrow (only one car could pass at a time). • Maintenance: The property was well maintained and clean, which gave a pleasant experience. • Host Responsiveness: The host was approachable and responsive. Whenever we had a query, he was quick to respond, which I appreciated.

• Amenities: Basic necessities like toiletries, towels, and water bottles were not provided upfront. We stayed for two days, but still had to ask each time for these essentials, which reduced the comfort level. • Daily Provisions: A couple of complimentary water bottles per day would have been expected, but were missing. • Food Options: The property allows self-cooking, but there was no option for in-house meals or a cook. We had to rely on ordering from outside or walking down the street to nearby restaurants.

The stay was good. Room was clean and tidy.

The location wasn't a good one. Narrow roads with no gaps for a big car. Also the hosts seems to be not much friendly. Heater wasn't working properly.

The staff was kind and the position was very good, but I want to give a full overview to help other travellers. The house is clean, but my room at the ground floor was very dark and dump, the bedsheet were smelling like mold, and overall the room gave me a feeling of suffocation. I had to go and sit by the reception at the entrance to get some fresh air. I wanted to cook, but the kitchen was in poor conditions. At night I went to get some water and I found cockroaches on the counter and on the floor... And they were as big as small mice. It was really disgusting. I hate to give bad reviews but this was my honest experience at Orange Valley.

Property is very nice, no doubt. Spacious rooms and clean. However, when I entered the room there was no soap or hand wash to wash hands. Thankfully I was carrying mine.

The property keeper guy was of no use. Doesn’t know anything about the property, he doesn’t even his nearby area name or nearby airport. He was just interested in playing games on his phone, not at all welcoming to a guest. Whatever I asked, don’t know..

They need to do a pest control, as there were cobwebs, ants in the bathroom. I spotted few lizards as well.

Rooms were bigger and beds were comfy. Parking space for two small cars available. Staff was kind to arrange the parking space.

There was no mirror inside the room, a much needed one for a family. Bathroom need to be deeply cleaned.

Location......approach road to the home stay is a little bit narrow n bumpy.

The staff was friendly and helpful. He helped us to book Uber too. It is located about 1km from town and the Pathmanaban temple (Rs30 by auto). The international airport is few kms away (Rs150 by Uber). We could check in at midnight.

The bed is very basic and the bathroom wasn’t clean. We didn’t use their towels as it looks filthy. There is a hot water tank in the bathroom but we couldn’t get it. May be something is wrong.

Overall, Orange Valley Town Residency is a gem in Thiruvananthapuram. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay with excellent hospitality. The extra-large bedroom was a huge plus, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. I would definitely return for another visit!

Bathroom shower spray was leaking. No mirros or dresser in bedroom. Otherwise everything was ok.

Didn't get towels for both guests and AC has fixed temperature. Room was bigger so it was not sufficient initially have to wait for room to get cooler

Had a fantastic experience staying here. Kudos to the property manager Joshi Daniel K. He is extremely humble and a helpful person. He made sure our stay was comfortable and helped us out with the ride to the airport and luggage. All our requests were fulfilled. The room was spacious and cleaning was on point. The bed was comfortable and the common area had TV and mini library access.

Such a beautiful place to stay in Trivandrum. I really enjoyed my stay. It is a beautiful villa inside the residential area. It is quite quiet there and the location is very close and easily accessible to the centre. Room was spacious and bright. Also very clean. There is also a huge hall to sit in and balcony - very nice areas. There is a big kitchen downstairs for common use where you will find all of the necessary facilities. The stuff is very lovely and helpful. They are helping with anything you need. They are happy to share nice places that would be difficult to find. Everyone is smiling there! Energy is very good. I would definitely come back and recommend.

No hot water in the bathroom

We really enjoyed the hospitality and availability. We arrived at 5 in the morning and our host was waiting for us.

There re not so many services in the area, but reachable in 10 minutes by tuktuk

They are really cheaters. After booking confirmation, we reached the place along with my family, spending hefty amount on taxi but they refused to provide the accommodation saying that they are not accepting booking through booking,com. This caused a lot of loss and hardship to us. I had to roam around to locate another place. Pl don't include the place in booking,com to avoid such harassment to others.

I will definitely recommend this home stay to my friends and family. Honestly I felt like spending more time In kerela if I get this homestay to stay.

Kitchen needs more cleaning

The location of this property is excellent, it's around 2 kms from the central railway station. The property is exactly same as it looks in the pictures. Very clean big size rooms with common living area and common kitchen. The interiors are very aesthetic and tastefully done, you can find lots of pinteresti corners in the property. The receptionist cum caretaker Daniel is exceptionally good, ready to solve issues, very helpful and the most important thing is that he is always accessible even in the night time. The owner also stays there and that's a big advantage for any traveller. The owner too is quite helpful and understandable, very friendly and humble person. I recommend this property 100%, it's worth the money.

Friendly staff, great location, safe, good wifi, accommodating my request of a very early check in which I appreciated.

- room required deeper cleaning but that might just be my cleaning standards which are quite high. - You need to pay in cash but I wasn’t told this before booking.

The owner was so helpful. My flight was late. I couldn’t talk to him earlier the day. We reached their 2.00 am. He answered the phone and he helped us to get the luggage in. He made a cup of tea for us.

It was very difficult to park our car. Parking only for small vehicles.

1. It seems the blankets and pillow covers were not cleaned as i could see some hair and stains. 2. Curtains could be thicker as it is visible outside if in case we switch on the fan and curtain moves due to light weight 3. AC remote is not working from far and everytime we need to go near the AC and change 4. Last but not least, this location is little bit inside and the public transportation is difficult to reach immediately. Walking with heavy luggage is difficult

Amazing stay, best host

We recommend staying at this place with all our heart. We stayed here for two nights. Location is great and is accessible to many premium restaurants ,temples (padmanabha swamy temple, napier museum, tagore theatre )& other popular locations in trivandrum. The host sujith were very responsive and helpful. Their home was clean, and well equipped with all the cooking utensils(Gas stove, fridge, mixer etc.)They were so friendly and welcoming, and they made us feel right at home.

The place is lovely. Quite area and very clean. Had a really huge room, just nothing to complain about. Kannan is an excellent host. He speaks very good english and can help foreigners with everything they need. Super friendly and you feel very welcome. Was a great stay. Also the breakfast was super good.
