La familia es encantadora. Desayuno buenísimo, muy bonito y limpio. Las habitaciones eran preciosas!!! El entorno es espectacular!

El acceso hasta el alojamiento es en cuesta muy pronunciada y algo difícil (en nuestro caso íbamos con una van). Pero vale la pena! Es precioso!

De gast heer (Saman) met zijn vrouw (Samila). Zij zijn echt fantastisch. Als je de beste ervaring van de Sri Lanka bevolking en omgeving wilt ervaren dan moet je hun absoluut bezoeken. Ze maken van je verblijf een unieke ervaring !!Die wij zeker niet meer gaan vergeten.

We loved everything

L'accueil, la gentillesse, la disponibilité, la maison, la vue, les repas. Tout etait super bien ! Le meilleur logement de notre voyage et le meilleur petit déjeuné. Vraiment top, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Les chambres sont super propres, bien équipées. Et on a même la chance de se réveiller face au levé du soleil.

Cette petite région vers Hatton est magnifique : paysages de thé et cascades. La météo indiquait de la pluie mais nous avons eu une journée d excursion magnifique. L' hôtel, en hauteur, est paisible avec une superbe vue. L'équipe, familiale, est très accueillante. Le patron vous donnera de bons conseils pour profiter de la région. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables.

Ce séjour était fantastique. Saman et son épouse sont adorables et aux petits soins. Les chambres sont très grande propre, joliment décorées avec de grands lits doubles confortables. Nous avons marché au milieu des théiers et observé des biches avec l’aide de SamanIl nous a aussi organisé une activité de canyoning

Accueil très chaleureux, belle chambre avec terrasse d'une propreté irréprochable. Ballade magnifique dans les plantations de thé juste à côté. Vue imprenable, belle expérience pour se ressourcer.

Inmitten der Teeplantagen, ländlich, angenehm kühl eine schöne Unterkunft mit sehr liebenswerten Gastgebern. Wir waren River Raften, Kajaken, in den Plantagen spazieren (gleich hinter dem Haus) und sind zur Ruhe gekommen bei wunderbarem Essen und sehr bequemen Betten. Am Ende unserer Reise sind wir noch einmal zurück für zwei Nächte, weil wir es alle so toll fanden. Vielen Dank für alles, liebe Familie!

Wir haben die 3 Nächte im Princess of Dick Oya sehr genossen. Die Familie ist sehr warmherzig und freundlich. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und man kann es sowohl von der Dachterrasse aus als auch von seinem eigenen Balkon/eigener Terrasse genießen. Der Besitzer ist unglaublich aufmerksam und kann einem sehr viele gute Tipps für Aktivitäten in der Gegend geben und hilft einem bei der Organisation (Besichtigung Telefabrik, Wasserfälle, Boat Tour über den Lake,...). Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig, umgeben von Teefeldern und mit Aussicht auf die Berge. Wir können es wirklich nur weiterempfehlen!!

Saman und seine Frau waren aussergewöhnliche Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und umsorgt gefühlt. Alleine das lliebevolle Lunchpacket für unsere Weiterfahrt wird uns in Erinnerung bleiben...

Alles war toll

I can't recommend this guesthouse enough. It is in the heart of the Hill Country and away from all the tourists will beautiful walks through the tea plantations on your doorstep. Salman and his family were so welcoming and we had the best curry and rice of our trip. Also in the restaurant area upstairs they show all the sport so amazingly I was able to watch the quarter final of the World Cup! We will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The house is beautiful with sweeping views of the stunning hill country, and the nature all around you is so vibrant and immersive. There is a large terrace for breakfasts and dinners with a view, and the food was incredible! So full of flavour and wonderful local dishes, we enjoyed it very much. The family running this homestay were so friendly and helpful, we really felt so well looked after, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. We highly recommend staying here!

The accommodation was spacious & very clean with fantastic views, in a great location. What made all the difference were the warm, welcoming and helpful hosts who provided generous, tasty food and lots of valuable tips.

We had a wonderful stay at Princess of Dickoya Homestay and would recommend it to anyone visiting this part of Sri Lanka. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. On our first evening, they took us on a fantastic guided walk through the tea plantation just behind the homestay. It was such a special experience, and we even got to watch local children playing cricket, which made it feel like a real glimpse into everyday life here. The food was exceptional. Breakfasts were delicious, and the homemade dinners were the best rice and curry we’ve had anywhere in Sri Lanka. Our children absolutely loved the fresh roti, and every meal was prepared with so much care. Our family room was huge, with four double beds, making it perfect for our family of four. We also had a beautiful view over the surrounding hills, which was lovely to wake up to each morning. If you’re visiting the Hatton or Dickoya area, don’t hesitate to stay here. It offers Sri Lankan hospitality, amazing home-cooked food and an experience you’ll remember long after your trip.

Room was very well kept and clean and Saman & his wife was very hospitable and helpful. Had a great time and they even made special breakfast as I was celebrating my birthday.

Coming from the main road to the property you need to be careful as the road is narrow.

Saman and his wife are truly amazing people, making us feel very welcome and going above and beyond our wishes. The breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious, the room has a lovely view and the surroundings are beautiful. Saman was so kind to take us to Adam’s Peak early in the morning for a hike. Would have loved to stay longer!

La famille est adorable. Le petit déjeuner et les repas sont excellents. Ils sont très attentifs aux détails, très arrangeants. L’hôtel est très calme, sur les hauteurs du petit centre ville mais rapidement accessible à pieds. Les hôtes vous donnent d’excellentes recommandations pour découvrir les environs.

La amabilidad y la comida

This was one of the most peaceful and relaxing places during our Sri Lanka trip. Surrounded by beautiful tea plantations, the location offered breathtaking views, especially during sunrise when the mist moved through the hills. The family atmosphere was incredibly warm and welcoming, and we always felt very well taken care of. The hosts were extremely helpful in organizing excursions and even arranged a tuk tuk in the middle of the night for our Adam’s Peak hike. A true highlight — besides the hospitality — was the amazing authentic Sri Lankan food. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, varied and freshly prepared every day. We especially appreciated that they thoughtfully adapted some dishes for our children, who could not eat very spicy food. A wonderful place to experience the beauty of Sri Lanka’s hill country together with genuine hospitality.

Im Princess of Dickoya Homestay haben wir 3 tolle Tage verbracht. Wir wurden von Saman herzlich begrüßt und zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit betreut - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Jeder Tag begann direkt mit einem Highlight, nämlich dem von Salman und seiner Frau auf dem Zimmerbalkon servierten Frühstück, das wirklich keine Wünsche offen gelassen hat. Auch die Planung und Durchführung der Tuk-Tuk durch die umliegenden Teeplantagen und zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten (Wasserfälle) hat bestens geklappt. Auch die Tour zum Adam's Peak war bestens organisiert. Unterwegs zu Adam's Peak konnten wir auch einigen Teepflückerinnen bei Ihrer Arbeit zu schauen und schöne Bilder machen. Damit noch nicht genug, Salman konnte zu unserer Überraschung uns auch noch 2 Zugtickets für die Bahnfahrt nach Ella besorgen. Dass die Anfahrt zum Princess of Dickoya etwas holprig ist, ist allenfalls eine Randnotiz wert. Last but not least - auch die angebotenen Speisen im Restaurant sind sehr gut. Wir können dieses Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

全てが最高だった。清潔で開放的な空間。リラックスして部屋で過ごし、安心して寝られる。大きな窓からの光で明るい部屋。庭の椅子でゆっくりと読書や、緑いっぱいの景色を見ながらぼんやりできる。 朝食も夕飯も美味しく、たっぷりの紅茶も美味しい。 オーナー家族のおもてなしも素晴らしい。 少し歩くと紅茶園があって、お散歩に最適。pekoetrailから近く、トレッキングを楽しめ、宿では静かな空間を楽しめる。 Dickoyaの街も、宿も気に入って、１泊延長した。 スリランカで1番充実した時間を過ごせた。

Hervorragendes Essen, saubere Zimmer, liebenswerte Gastgeber.

One of our best stays in asia. The whole family made us feel so welcome and took care of us. The room's are super clean and comf. Location is awesome as you are literally on top of dickoya which is nice to watch sunrise from balcony. However the highlight is the food. Make sure you take the breakfast and curry. Its just incredible. Nothing more than recommendable!

We should have stayed longer! Anyway, we will come back.

Perfect doesn’t even begin to capture how special this place is. The views from the bedrooms are absolutely stunning… each morning greets you with a breathtaking sunrise over mist-covered mountains. What truly sets this stay apart, though, is the exceptional hospitality of the hosts, Saman and Semila. They are incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Semila’s freshly prepared meals are delicious, and enjoying them on the spacious balcony with such a beautiful view made every meal memorable. We never felt the need to dine anywhere else. We stayed for two nights during the Avurudu holiday, and they went above and beyond by preparing a lovely traditional Avurudu table, which was a wonderful and thoughtful touch.

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber und die Möglichkeit, vor Ort zu essen (sehr lecker!). Vom Balkon aus hat man einen schönen Blick auf das Tal. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft sehr sauber, auch das Bett war gut.

Im Bad hat es manchmal etwas aus dem Abfluss gestunken. Generell muss man sagen, dass man abends oft nicht auf dem Balkon sitzen oder das Zimmer lüften konnte, weil es so nach dem Abfall gestunken hat, der überall verbrannt wird. Dafür können die Gastgeber aber nichts, wir haben das in anderen Unterkünften in Sri Lanka genauso erlebt.

Both service and meals were exceptional. Great views from rooms and the rooftop restaurant. Location convenient for Pekoe trail hiking, wonderful tea plantation walks also behind this homestay. Highly recommend.

Best host

Das Zimmer war sauber und wir hatten einen tollen Blick. Das Essen war durchgängig sehr lecker (von Frühstück bis zum Curry). Es gibt eine Getränkekühlschrank, aus dem Man sich jederzeit Getränke nehmen kann. Direkt vom Hotel aus kann man schöne Wanderungen unternehmen. Die Familie ist höflich. Saman organisierte uns eine sehr netten Fahrer von Udawalawe nach Dickoya.

Saman stellte uns ein Tagesprogramm zusammen, was toll klang. Er fuhr uns zu der Teefabrik eines Bekannten und anschließend zu unserem Startpunkt der Wanderung (die er uns anders herum empfohlen hatte). Am kommenden Tag hatte er uns angeboten, uns zum Bahnhof zu fahren und, dass sein Freund uns gute Plätze reservieren würde. Er hielt an Wasserfällen und in Nuwara Eliya. An diesem Tag herrschte in Sri Lanka, aufgrund des Konfliktes im nahen Osten, Panik und die Bankautomaten waren leer. Wir versuchten es an zwei Automaten und Saman fuhr uns zu einem dritten. Leider war auch dieser ohne Bargeld. Wir gaben ihm unser letztes Geld für die Fahrt zum Bahnhof (55€). Saman wirkte genervt und unzufrieden und äußerte dies auch. Für die Zugtickets nutzen wir unser letzten 1000 Rupien. Auch hier sagte er, dass das aber wenig Trinkgeld für seinen Freund sei. (Nur zur Ergänzung: Wir hatte auf der Reise erfahren, dass das Durchschnittsgehalt zwischen 130 und 300 USD / Monat liegt). Sein Freund schien nicht erreichbar. Wir wollten die Tickets selbst kaufen. Samsan sagte, dass er es übernehme. Die Tickets kosteten 140 Rupien pro Person. Saman behielt ganz selbstverständlich das gesamte Geld (obwohl auch er wusste, dass es unser letztes Geld war.). Die Rechnung in der Unterkunft bezahlen wir mit Karte. Hier kommt eine Kartengebühr hinzu (3%), die vorher nicht kommuniziert war sowie 10% Servicegebühr. Auch das Wasser, welches uns Saman bei den Mahlzeiten ungefragt auf den Tisch stellte, wurde hinterher berechnet. Es sind alles nette Angebot, wenn der Preis vorher kommuniziert wird und es nicht unter dem Deckmantel von Gastfreundlichkeit geschieht. Wir wollten eigentlich gerne wiederkommen. Der Ort war sehr schön. Jedoch hat uns das Ende sehr enttäuscht und wir haben uns sehr darüber geärgert.

Die Unterkunft liegt traumhaft auf einer Anhöhe. Wir hatten von unserem grosszügigen zwei stockigen Appartement und unserer Terrasse den schönsten Sonnenaufgang unserer Rundreise. Abends bei unserer Ankunft bekamen wir ein köstliches Abendessen und auch das Frühstück war ausgesprochen gut! Kann jeden empfehlen, hier früh aufzustehen, den Sonnenaufgang zu geniessen und dann in den dahinter gelegenen grünen Teeplantagen spazieren zu gehen. Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und es ist familiär und authentisch! Von uns eine Top Empfehlung! Hatton war nicht touristisch aber vom Ort haben wir wenig gesehen. Danke für den schönen Welcome!!! Location, the owners and the food! Family-run guesthouse, sweetest people we’ve met in Sri Lanka. Attentive, caring, welcoming - we have made good friendships with the owner and his wife. Wholesome experience I would 100% do again.

What’s there not to like?

The view is absolutely stunning. The breakfast and the dinner was amazing. We went for a quick hike just behind the house and it was very pretty! Surrounded by tea gardens and nature. The place belongs to a lovely family who took care of us so well.

We stayed for one night, our room was a bit small, but absolutely fine for one night. The bathroom was a bit small too, it was hard to use it after taking shower. However they have larger rooms. Next time we will book the larger room.

Wir können diese Unterkunft nur jedem ans Herz legen. Die Gastgeber-Familie ist so herzlich und freut sich aufrichtig, dass man ihr Gast ist. Das Essen schmeckt super und reichlich. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen waren sehr lecker.

It’s really nice family house on the hill with an awesome view and high quality food.

But I wouldn’t book tuktuk or taxi through them since it’s a lot cheaper when you book it yourself. Also they charge you for the water you didn’t even ask for.

Lovely homestay with wonderful views from balcony (upstairs room). The family was exceptionally nice and hospitable, making our 2 night stay enjoyable. Room was large - 2 double beds with a nice balcony that can take your breakfast on (or upstairs on the main covered balcony). Good was plentiful and delicious - worth staying for the amazing food! In the area we recommend stage 8 of the Pekeo trail.

Nothing - as on hill getting, walk up (200 meters) may be an issue for those with mobility.

Et af de smukkeste og mest særlige steder vi har boet. Det fineste værelse med den absolut bedste udsigt ud over det smukkeste grønne bjerglandskab. Vi fik det bedste, lækreste hjemmelavet mad og en privat tur rundt i bjerglandskabet med stop ved flere smukke vandfald hvor vi kunne bade og være helt alene. Derudover er det de absolut sødeste værter man kan finde, kan kun varmt anbefale. Meget taknemmelig for at opleve dette sted!

Incredible experience Saman and Semila (and their team) are incredibly genuine and welcoming people The Princess is a beautiful calm oasis to relax and enjoy the views of nature. Semila and Saman provide beautiful meals - the special lamprais was the best meal we had in Sri Lanka Saman is full of ideas for activities to suit anyone, organised tours and transfers, and even set us up with drinks and snacks to watch the cricket final (although sadly not New Zealands best effort) You will not regret spending time here - we stayed 5 nights

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast and dinner was also delicious. From our balcony you had a nice view over the area. Our room was clean and comfortable.

We had a very pleasant two-night stay here. A lovely family is running the place, ready to help you out with all your needs. We stayed in the upper rooms with a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. Fantastic breakfast was served each morning and we also had our dinners here that you order from their menu before you leave for your daily adventures. The lady of the house is an amazing chef! All in all, we loved our stay here and are already planning to return next year!

Ein Traum!! 🥰 Die Familie ist so unfassbar herzlich und freundlich! Wir könnten nicht glücklicher sein. Alle unsere Wünsche und Pläne wurden berücksichtigt. Das Zimmer ist groß und hat alles was man braucht. Preis Leistung top. Man darf keinen touristischen Ort erwarten, alles ist sehr local. Direkt hinter dem homestay gelangt man zu Fuß zu einem schönen Weg durch die Teeplantagen! Das Essen ist viel und sehr lecker (local).

Top ausgestattet, unglaublich freundliche Host Familie, die uns einen Ausflug zum Wasserfall und einen Transport zum Ambewela Bahnhof kurzfristig geplant haben. Außerdem wurde uns für die Taxifahrt früh morgens ein Frühstücksbox hergerichtet. Der Besitzer hat uns Tickets und einen tollen Platz im Zug besorgt! Preislich mehr als fair. Wunderschöne Aussicht.

Das Essen war etwas rustikaler und traditioneller, was etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig für uns Europäer ist.

The advertising photos give the impression you’re out in the country and you’re not, you’re surrounded by buildings. Cheap plastic table and chairs on balcony, food tasted delicious but always tepid to cold, everything is this temperature when I think it should be hot but maybe I’m wrong as it does seem endemic across the country in smaller establishments, it’s like they cook and plate eg: the eggs for breakfast or curry for dinner 15 minutes early then bring it out when you arrive at table on time and all is cold by then. Not necessarily a criticism of this place as it was like this almost everywhere we went, So much so you almost but not quite get used to cold curry, dahl or eggs for breakfast and dinner….but it might just be us. Room was fine but shower with next to no power at all needs looking at and redecorating at least, however, they’re not charging five star prices here so overall not bad budget place.

On a adoré notre séjour dans cet hôtel. La.vue est magnifique, le personnel fait tout pour que nous y soyons bien. C'est très propre aussi.

The property was in Dickey’s so very handy for stages 6 and 7 of Pekoe Trail. The owner was lovely and very obliging, Sémilla his wife was lovely. Met all the family. Food was good.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Princess of Dickoya und können diese Unterkunft 100% weiterempfehlen. Unser grosses Familienzimmer über zwei Etagen war einfach traumhaft. Der Blick auf das Dorf, die Teeplantagen und die grüne Natur rundherum war ein Highlight. Direkt hinter dem Haus führt eine Treppe hinauf in die Tee-Plantagen, wo man wunderbar spazieren gehen kann. Der Gastgeber und die Gastgeberin waren aussergewöhnlich herzlich. Beide haben sich liebevoll um uns gekümmert. Wir wurden an zwei Tagen mit fantastischem, frisch zubereitetem Abendessen verwöhnt. Das inkludierte Frühstück war lecker, lokal und super authentisch. Besonders toll war auch die Unterstützung bei der Planung unseres Ausflugs. Für uns wurde ein Tuk-Tuk-Fahrer organisiert, ein Freund des Gastgebers, mit dem wir in die Berge und durch die Teeplantagen gefahren sind. Wir haben wunderschöne Aussichtspunkte entdeckt und zwei Wasserfälle besucht, ganz ohne andere Touristen. Alles war bestens organisiert und sehr persönlich. Zusätzlich wurde unsere Wäsche gewaschen. Als wir uns leicht erkältet fühlten, haben sich der Gastgeber und die Gastgeberin rührend um uns gekümmert und uns sogar einen heilsamen Ayurveda Tee aufs Haus serviert. Diese Unterkunft hat für uns ganz klar fünf von fünf Sternen verdient. Eine unglaublich liebe, hilfsbereite und gastfreundliche Familie, eine traumhafte Lage und ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt - alles total authentisch. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We had a perfect stay at lovely Princess of Dickoya! From the first moment we felt at home due to the warm welcome of Semila and Saman, our hosts. They were not only extremely friendly, but Saman was also very helpful in any way, e.g. in organizing trips like bike rides, excursion to Adam‘s peak, taxi ride, etc. And the food was delicious, breakfast as well as dinner! Selima is a great cook! All in all a most pleasant stay! Absolut recommendation!!! Thanks a lot!

Covered rooftop restaurant was fabulous as was the food. Spacious bedroom and balcony. Saman was amazing at organizing transport and activities, and he drove us half way to our destination and then organized our train ticket. Without him, it would have been so stressful. His wife made us feel so very welcome ,did some laundry for us and provided us with a packed breakfast when we left.

Uzasne! Moc dekujeme majitelovi a jeho rodine za vse! Krasne, čistě ubytovani s dokanalym výhledem. Welcome tea, snidane a jejich večeře byly dokanale! Doporucujeme! Majitel byl ochotny nam se vsim poradit a pomoct. Zařídil nám odvoz na Adams peak na východ slunce tam i zpět za 15 000 lrs.

Alles! Wir haben uns rund um die Uhr und in allen Aspekten wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Bett war mega gemütlich, die Aussicht wunderbar, das Zimmer sauber und das Essen frisch gekocht und phänomenal - Bonus dafür, dass man es auf der eigenen Terrasse essen konnte!!! Die Aussicht war unfassbar schön und die Gastfreundschaft von Saman und seiner Familie war total schön. Wir haben uns gefühlt, wie zuhause :)

This place was not on my route but it caught my attention through the pictures and reviews as seemingly something truly amazing and tranquil, so I decided to take that extra 2hr drive and booked the place for two nights only for that - to relax and enjoy the beautiful views and serene environment. Unfortunately, my own stay there did not meet my expectations at all, but despite all the downsides in my experience I believe the place could probably be quite wonderful - especially once their expansion is complete, the views from the upper rooms are probably amazing. On my arrival, the hosts came to welcome me at the gate both so nicely and warmly, and every time I had to turn to them they were communicating in a humble and lovely manner, always with a smile. I could really feel their effort of wanting to make my stay there as comfortable and enjoyable as possible despite all the setbacks. The place looks very lovely and cosy, beautiful furnishing, decorations, colours, filled with plants. The room is well presented and clean. I especially loved the bathroom smelled nice and fresh. The bed was very carefully and nicely done. Breakfast is really generous, you can also order lunch/dinner, all food is super tasty and can be served on your balcony. If your room is upstairs, you can enjoy quite amazing views. Their wifi was quite fast compared to other places.

Firstly, they had assigned my room to someone else. I had booked the more expensive one upstairs but was given a smaller one downstairs with no privacy and no views. They didn't admit it right away, but did eventually that they had done a mistake. Though I did not expect nor request them to ask the other guests to move anymore, they still went on to do that so after about 40min of waiting as they quickly cleaned and prepared the room, they assigned me the correct room. I was very appreciative of the effort though the whole situation made me feel so uncomfortable. After some time in the room hearing loud noises of construction it came out they were currently expanding and building another room and a restaurant on upper floors. It is a completely understandable process, however should have definitely been mentioned prior to booking or at least at check-in, as in my case, I went there precisely to have peace and quiet. It was not some mild noise, it was constant drilling and banging throughout the whole day, and though they said they would only start after 9am and finish before 5pm, they were actually starting already at 7am and finishing around 7pm. Additionally, all the movements in the house are easily heard through the walls/doors, and one night they checked in a family at midnight being very loud. So for me, there was no serenity or tranquility whatsoever. They also lost one of my clothing items when doing laundry, and there were some odd add-on's in my bill, for example two bottles of water I had never requested (unless they charge for the bottles already provided in the room?) and a tea pot I never ordered (unless they charge for the one they welcome you on arrival?). So, in the end, it all gave very mixed feelings as they never apologised for anything other than the room mix-up nor offered any form of compensation, as if all the smiles are actually not that genuine.

Lovely stay & owners! Food was delicious. The host took us on a discovery tour through Dickoya. Very passionate people.

It is the perfect combination of autheticity and adapting to what we, and I think other tourists, value in comfort.

Geweldige hosts, uitgebreid ontbijten met prachtig uitzicht over de vallei, en heerlijk zelfgemaakt diner. De regio is niet gericht op toeristen, en daardoor hadden we een hele authentieke beleving van Sri Lanka. Salman regelde zonder problemen chauffeurs om naar het startpunt van de Pekoe-trail routes te gaan, of de theefabriek te bezoeken. De familie mag erg trots zijn op het heerlijke huis en verblijf!

Eigenlijk niets, want The Princess of Dickoya is geweldig. Wel goed om je bewust te zijn dat Dickoya en Hatton niet gericht zijn op toeristen, daar waren we op ingesteld en dan is het juist fantastisch. Maar goed om te weten dat je voor alle activiteiten vervoer nodig hebt. Dat regelen de hosts met alle liefde voor je.

This was a fantastic homestay with wonderful views and tea estate gardens to explore within a short walking distance. The homestay was a great rest spot for after hiking Sri Pada (Adams Peak). The dinners and breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Thank you for a lovely stay.

There was no free drinking water provided and we have become used to Sri Lankan accommodations always supplying at least 1 bottle of free water. All bottled water is added to the final invoice. However, the bottled water is a reasonable price and they provide other things for free, like tea, biscuits and bananas on arrival, snacks for Sri Pada hike and yoghurts after dinner. Overall, we had a really great stay and this was something minor.

Hôtes très accueillant et très serviable. La vue est absolument magnifique, et l’emplacement est idéal pour visiter les alentours. Je recommande !

La meilleure partie de notre voyage. La région est magnifique, et c'était chouette de pouvoir la découvrir avec Saman. La nourriture faite maison est délicieuse.
