Alex is amazing and so helpful!! I can’t recommend this place more. So comfy, amazing beds. So good to have a private pool. We wish we had more time here. Also great having our room cleaned daily!! 10/10!!

It was such a nice place to stay at, we really enjoyed it. The only thing is that there is a lot of sunlight coming in due to some windows not having curtains. But other than that it was beautiful and Eli helped us a lot.

El alojamiento es precioso, y tanto la piscina como el porche son súper agradables. La cama es muy cómoda y la habitación, muy espaciosa. Además, hay una cafetera para poder hacerse un café todas las mañanas. Quiero destacar especialmente la amabilidad y la atención de Eli, siempre pendiente de que tuviéramos la mejor estancia posible en Puerto Escondido. Además, nos dio muy buenas recomendaciones de restaurantes y actividades para hacer en Puerto, así como contactos de confianza para taxis, excursiones, etc. ¡No nos queríamos ir de lo bien que estábamos! Además, el alojamiento está a unos 10 minutos caminando de La Punta, la zona donde se encuentran muchos de los mejores restaurantes y una de las mejores playas. Sin duda, un sitio al que volveríamos.

Como pequeño aspecto a mejorar, la ducha podría tener un poco más de presión. No fue algo que afectara negativamente a nuestra experiencia ni que nos molestara especialmente, pero creemos que podría ser un detalle a tener en cuenta para hacer la estancia todavía más cómoda. Por otro lado, al estar el alojamiento en plena naturaleza, es normal que aparezcan algunos insectos en la piscina, especialmente abejas. En ocasiones se acumulaban bastantes y había que retirarlas con frecuencia para poder disfrutar de la piscina. Quizás se podría valorar alguna solución para minimizar su presencia, aunque entendemos perfectamente que, al estar rodeados de naturaleza, es algo difícil de evitar por completo.

Es una maravilla de sitio.

Para ir a cenar a la zona de restaurantes, hay que andar 10 minutos por cuestas empinadas sin asfaltar.

Eli ha sido súper atenta y ha hecho que la estancia sea perfecta.

Una estancia espectacular. Las villas están impecables, muy bien equipadas y con muchísimo detalle. Tener una piscina privada es, sin duda, un gran plus que hace que la experiencia sea aún más especial. La ubicación es excelente: una zona muy tranquila donde realmente puedes descansar, pero al mismo tiempo estás a pocos minutos tanto de La Punta como de Zicatela. Nosotros nos movimos en moto durante toda la estancia y fue la forma perfecta de recorrer Puerto Escondido. Sin duda, un lugar al que volveríamos y que recomendamos a cualquiera que busque comodidad, privacidad y una excelente ubicación.

Un lugar de diez, me dejo muy buena impresión, agradable, limpio, privado, para mi de lo mejor para ir a pasar buenos momentos con tu mujer, tiene estufa, refrigerador muy bueno, la habitación cuenta con clima y ventilador, funcionan muy bien ya que nunca me sentí acalorado, mosquitero para evitar insectos, limpio todo, un lugar que se ha vuelto de mis favoritos

No es culpa de la locación, a lado estan construyendo, el ruido te despierta muy temprano, eventualmente con los meses eso ya no sera molestia, si llevas carro, lo dejas en la entrada, al principio me preocupe, pero es una zona tranquila, no key transitada estuve 4 dias y no paso nada, en si esas son las unicas dos cosas que no fueron de mi agrado

Gran lugar para descansar. Esta muy bien distribuido, bien amueblado, bonito y con una cafetera que sí funciona. El dueño muy amigable y servicial. Todo fue fuido entrada, accesos, servicios, salida.

Hay que limpiar un poquito más la alberca, pero dificil en temporada de lluvias.

BEAUTIFUL place, quiet with everything you could need or want. Clean, very comfortable bed and rate it 4.99 only thing that could be improved it enough water pressure in shower to wash hair (this might have been impacted by the construction next door) so won't let it affect rating. Host is very helpful and area is convenient for amazing food and great night-life but far enough away to enjoy your pool and outdoor area in peace and quiet. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Puerto Escondido.

Las villas son espectaculares y están super pensadas para que tu estancia sea increíble, no tengo ningún pero. Alex estuvo pendiente en todo momento y se encargó también que todo estuviera en orden.

It was amazing, the villa was stunning (we were in Nora) and the host could not have been more helpful! It was nice being slightly outside of the main street of la punta, just a short walk away. The little add ons like beach towels and a barista coffee machine were lovely touches. We would definitely stay again / recommend.

Es un agrado cuando los lugares son iguales o mejores a las fotos. Todo muy comodo, tranquilo, trato cercano, amigable. La verdad nada que decir. Nosotros tuvimos que cocinar varias veces en la pieza y tampoco ningun problema. La estadia estuvo 10/10

Nosotros arrendamos moto y no tuvimos problemas con movernos a alguna parte. Yo creo que de no arrendar la movilidad puede ser un tema.

This place is stunning, yes there is a dirt road to the center, but it’s a 7 min walk. or a 2 min scooter ride. scooters are really cheap. 1,5 min taxi drive to the beach even if needed. I actually loved everything in this stay! I only want to mention, at the moment of paying my reservation with booking, the page mentioned we have to do a deposit of $6270 MXN, 7 days before the stay, but it’s not true, the stay won’t charge anything and neither will do booking :)

Todo genial, mucha tranquilidad excepto un par de horas que los trabajadores de una obra cercana ponían musica, pero como digo es un par de horas al día y no es culpa del hotel, ademas de que debe ser temporal. Las instalaciones son excelentes y por la noche sobre todo se duerme genial.

Amazing stay! Very comfortable and Alex was incredibly helpful. Amazing value for money and the outside area was fantastic - so nice to have a private pool! Was lovely and quiet and honestly had everything you needed and more!

The location was a little further than most spots, although this is advertised and what makes the property lovely and quiet! We just had some very hot walks up the hill in the middle of the day! Which made us even more grateful for the pool!

A beautiful place to stay. The villas are very well designed and feel like a private oasis, each with its own plunge pool which was perfect for cooling off and relaxing. The bedroom was very comfortable with a huge bed, air conditioning and a ceiling fan, making it pleasant even in the heat. There was plenty of storage for clothes and suitcases, along with a small kitchenette and a hanging line outside which was useful for drying swimwear. The outdoor shower was also a great touch. The landscaping is lovely and the whole space feels calm and private. The night sky was especially impressive with so many visible stars. Alex was a fantastic host, always quick to reply and help with anything we needed. The location is peaceful and slightly removed from the busier areas, which we really liked as it made the stay feel quieter and more relaxing.

Lovely outdoor area but slightly worn, with visible cracks and marks around the pool and walls. The seating cushion was quite yellowed so we didn’t use it. There were also a number of ants around the seating area, there was a nearby nest in our outdoor area. Frequent debris in the plunge pool meant we were net cleaning it every half hour as leaves and insects (especially ants) collected quickly. Would benefit from stronger filtration. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Despite using the “please service” sign, our room wasn’t cleaned on one occasion. Located up a very steep unpaved road. Quiet and peaceful, but challenging to walk back in the heat. No full length mirror.

Nuestra estancia fue fantástica. Las villas nos encantaron: todo estaba muy limpio y cuidado, y además limpiaban la villa a diario, lo cual se agradece mucho. La cocina estaba perfectamente equipada y tenía todo lo necesario. El dueño fue encantador. El primer día vino a recibirnos personalmente y a explicarnos todo sobre la villa, y además nos ayudó a gestionar la reserva de una moto, lo cual fue de gran ayuda durante nuestra estancia. En general, fue un acierto total alojarnos aquí. Es un lugar muy recomendable y nosotros ya estamos deseando volver.

Great place, is exactly as advertised. Quiet, calm and great privacy. Little piece of paradise within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. Great and very attentive host. Stayed an extra night because it was simply the best place we stayed at in Mexico.

El alojamiento perfecto, es un oasis de tranquilidad en Zicatela. El personal un 10, nos trataron genial. La villa súper completa con todo lo necesario y con un diseño precioso. Aunque parece alejado, en 5 minutos andando estás en la carretera principal (200) desde la que te desplazas a todas partes.

What an amazing location! And a great host!

It’s quite a steep, hot walk to the beach, but the villa is amazing so totally worth it.

It felt very private and the host took care of us in an amazing way! The bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed, included a nice coffee machine. Quiet during the nights. Very clean and overall fresh, new and nicely made villa.

The pool was pretty cold and we would appreciate sunchairs that could be moved around to get the sun (the architecture outside was very nice but it was in shadow large parts of the day). There was a construction work next door, it was noisy but it wasn’t too bad (and it is like this everywhere in Punta).

La propiedad es un oasis, honestamente hospedarse en Brisas de Zicatela o Zicatela llega a ser muy incomodo por el ruido, casi ninguna propiedad se salva de eso así que escogimos estas villas por la ubicación y dormimos como no habíamos podido en mucho tiempo, no hay un solo ruido en la noche y la cama es sumamente comoda, los blancos son de muy buena calidad y permiten un descanso perfecto. El cuarto cuenta con aire y ventilador y pudimos dormir sin aire, incluso le bajamos un nivel al ventilador ya que enfría muy bien durante la noche. La alberca de la villa es mas grande de lo que parece en fotos y tienes mucho espacio para disfrutar la terraza, la villa tiene cafetera y frigo bar así que ya sea con un café al lado de la alberca en la mañana o bebidas frías, la verdad ni quieres salir de ahí. La regadera es exterior y con el calor de Puerto Escondido es muy agradable. Tanto Alex como Tere son extraordinarios y nos trataron de maravilla. Sin duda es bueno llevar auto o moto o en todo caso tener el contacto de un taxista porque no se encuentra en el centro de Brisas pero tampoco es algo retirado. En resumen, toda la villa está organizada y diseñada perfectamente, no le encuentro un solo punto en contra. Si buscan un lugar perfecto para una escapada en pareja, es aquí.

The location couldn’t have been better ideally situated in Brisas de Zicatela, close to all the cool restaurants and cafés, and only about a 10-minute walk to the beach. It made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. The host was absolutely amazing very responsive, helpful, and always quick to answer any questions we had. He made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Escondido!

The place itself was super clean and very comfortable. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining. The daily cleaning service was such a big plus and made our stay even more relaxing.

Beautiful stylish accommodation. Loved the espresso machine with coffee supplied, as well as fresh drinking water.Beach bag with towels are a nice touch.Location close to the beach but just far enough from the main areas.

Unfortunately on arrival we were met with construction workers looking down into our " private " pool and shower area. Extremely noisy from construction and music. Our host Alex tried to mitigate the problem, installing a tarp and requesting the music be turned down. We did decide to stay as there were no comparable properties available. We were compensated and moved to another suite when it was available. Unfortunate timing for us, suggest inquiring which suite you are booking. We absolutely loved the suite we were moved to on our last night.

Incredible place with stunning design - perfectly clean, well organized, and incredibly comfortable. Alex is truly one of the best hosts you could imagine: super welcoming, reliable, attentive, and thoughtful in every detail. The location is great - quiet & private but still close walking distance (10-15 min) to beach, restaurants and bars.

Beautiful private villa located walking distance to everything you might need in La Punta area of Puerto Escondido. The villa is equipped with a comfy bed, a small private pool, an outdoor shower where you can see the stars at night from, a small kitchenette to cook / store your takeout and beverages in the small fridge. The place was decorated super lovely and simple which gave it an elevated look. They provide beach tools and even a little tote to carry them around along with indoor towels for your body and face. Everything was perfect! We asked to drop off our bags early since we checked in on New Year’s Eve and they were very kind to let us. The space was pristine with lots of jungle plants and natural elements which made it feel cozy and like an escape from the hustle & bustle. The internet was also really strong and reliable which is hard to find sometimes.

Everything was perfect but just note that some of the roads around that area are unpaved so bring good walking shoes and highly recommend renting a quad to get around the bumps / hills (vs a regular motorcycle or dirt bike).

The villa has been designed exceptionally well. The living area was spacious and comfortable and the bed was huge. Cooling down in the outdoor private pool after a long day in the sun, looking up at the coconut palms and listening to the tropical birds made relaxing very easy. The water and coffee were refilled daily and the kitchen area was perfect for making light meals. The villa is a short walk from the main beaches in the area and not far from the highway where there are also shops and places to eat. The host Alex is super helpful and his staff are doing a great job.

There were no bedside tables just a small alcove big enough to charge a phone. My wife suggested that a full length mirror would make a slight improvement.

Punta Majica was gorgeous with modern, clean villas, a private plunge pool and very comfortable bed. Communication was excellent and, Alex, our host was incredibly helpful and responsive.

The property is a 12-16 min walk from the main part of town and the roads are quite rough, so not great if you want to be in the “party” part of Punta right near the beach But we like this because it was gorgeous and quiet and taxis are very cheap and plentiful!

New & spacious property. Fully equipped kitchen. Cleaned daily. Private outdoor space with stunning pool. Ample water provided daily. Comfortable firm bed. Great aircon.

Noisy construction next door playing music all day and evening. Best ask host if your apartment is affected. About 15 min walk to main La Punta drag. Roads atrocious and difficult to navigate, be aware. Water pressure low. Aircon super powerful but no throw so can be chilly.

The property was absolutely stunning, one of the best stays ever, it’s been completed to a really high standard. Easy communication with the management. Loved everything about it! Punta Magica is truly magical :)

The villas are amazing, we booked LOTO , probably the biggest Villa, a little more expensive but worth it, as the Outdoor Space is THE asset here! The owner is amazing, with quick response (in english!)

Roads are dirty and untarted-we knew that and it is really no problem. Drive slow and also a small car can do it. At evening bring a flashlight with you, makes the way up easier (around 10 min walk)

Lo limpio y lo tranquilo que era el lugar. Muy práctico y cómodo! El host del lugar atendió todo lo que necesitábamos y hasta me dio una asesoría para un requerimiento muy especial.

No es molestia pero está un poco alejado y oscuro en la noche. La caminada son por calles que no están construidas. Pero se entiende por que así es puerto

El lugar está increíble. Excelente! Suoer privado y conjunto gusto increíble. Tal cual se muestra en las imágenes. Muy bien ubicado a sólo 5 minutos en coche de la zona mas movida de Puerto Escondido.

Very short drive or walk to la Punta where everything is happening. The manager, Alex, is always available for any question you might have! 10/10, thank you very much.

We had a fantastic stay at Punta Mágica Villas Privadas during our time in Puerto Escondido. Everything was perfect and the staff support was impeccable. Tout était vraiment parfait ! La décoration est soignée, le côté privatif très agréable, l’hôte d’une grande gentillesse, tout est d’une propreté irréprochable. La piscine est superbe et le matériel de cuisine permet de préparer facilement ses repas. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, merci encore !

Le seul petit point négatif concerne les travaux réalisés à côté, mais cela ne nous a pas trop dérangés. En revanche, pour les personnes qui ne sont pas en très bonne forme, l’accès au centre peut être assez physique. Cela dit, ça permet aussi de faire un peu de sport malgré les vacances !

The design and layout is amazing. Very clean and service is great. We loved the amenities and the quality of materials/furniture. Eli is super nice and attentive to anything the guests need. She helped us with recommendations and attended to every inquiry we had. Location is great however I would recommend hiring a car to get around the area. Commute could be a bit challenging. The beach is close, 10 minute walk but ideal only for surfers.

Beautiful property with all necessary amenities. Great private pool. Living area is secluded and feels very private. Pleasant communication with the staff. Always clean and tidy. Very peaceful and quiet area away from the buzz.

A bit off the center of Punta Zicatela, approx 10 min walk uphill on a dirt road to get there. But not a problem.

The host was amazing super friendly and good recomendations for the area. The apartment was absolutely spotless and clean. Really private. Beautiful property and relaxing. Short walk or bike into the main action so the area was quiet and peaceful.

Simply put, this is a slice of heaven that you can stay at for a reasonable price! We had the warmest welcome possible by the lovely owner Alex. He made us feel right at home and helped us out throughout the entire stay - from food recommendations to scooter rental. Truly a wonderful soul and that carries over into each detail he thought of to make the accommodation as perfect as can be.

Nothing we didn’t like but things you should know: - Its a bit of a hike to reach main areas if you don’t have a scooter - Outdoor shower that relies on solar heating so it might get slightly chilly at night (December)

We extended our stay after loving the first few days. Its amazing to have such a luxury setup with this degree of privacy and service. You wont want to leave. Special thanks to Alex the owner who was very accommodating to all our questions and needs.

A beautiful, private, quiet, clean villa, just 10 minutes walk from the beach & shops. The espresso machine & supplied coffee was a very welcome touch! We loved the huge bed, the outdoor shower under the palms, cooling off in the plunge pool, enjoying morning coffee on the comfy outdoor seating, the regular cleans & pool maintenance, beach towels being supplied, the outdoor space to do some morning yoga, the tranquility of the location...we would 100% return! Alex, the host, was so incredibly helpful, offering guidance on restaurants, tours, scooter rental, etc. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Thank you Alex!

Punta Magica was the perfection I was looking for in a beach getaway - secluded bungalow with private pool, nestled away from the main tourist strip - definition of luxury, comfort, and tranquility. The large outdoor space with the giant palms, pool, and outdoor living room made this place truly magical and one of a kind. Inside, the bedroom was very spacious with a very comfortable king sized bed. The kitchenette was a nice added bonus - I was able to cook and enjoyed being able to make my own latte in the mornings with the expresso machine. Loved the outdoor shower! All the added amenities contributed to a very relaxing vacation. The location was walkable to the main road (if you want to jump on a collectivo truck/taxi to get around town, or a stroll away from the beach). Property manager Alejandro was an amazing and hospitable host and made sure our needs were met during our stay. Thank you!

Shops, restaurants, and the beach are within a roughly 10-15 minute leisurely walk, which provided me with a little bit of exercise to jumpstart my day (downhill to the beach, but gradual uphill on the return). While I welcomed the extra steps, this may be an issue for other guests (but taxis were readily available and arrived generally within 5-10 minutes to the hotel).
